After a wonderful, passionate night, Kotal and Jade woke up the next morning with smiles on their faces.
"Morning, my love." said Kotal.
"Morning, Kotal. Last night was incredible." said Jade.
"I completely agree. It was honestly the best night of my life. Well, besides meeting you for the first time." said Kotal.
"Oh, Kotal." Jade said before the two made out in bed.
While in the middle of their make out session, one of Kotal's soldiers entered the bedroom and said, "Kotal Khan and Ms. Jade, I apologize for interrupting, but you have company."
"Company? No one even knows we're out here." said Jade.
"Well, this group of individuals need to see you immediately." said the soldier.
"Let them in." said Kotal.
The soldier opened the door and a group of familiar faces walked in. Kuai Liang (aka Sub-Zero), Johhny Cage, Cassie Cage, Jax Briggs, Jacqui Briggs, Erron Black, and Kitana, the new Kahn.
"Woah, did we come in at a bad time?" Johnny asked as he looked away.
"No. Now, what do you all want? You know I'm retired." said Kotal.
"Well, you're about to get out of retirement because we have a new threat to deal with. And by new, I mean old." said Jacqui.
"What exactly is this 'threat'?" asked Kotal.
"Shang Tsung. He's taken control of the Hourglass and now has possession of Kronika's crown, which he will use to wipe us all out." said Kitana.
"And where is Liu Kang? Shouldn't he be with you?" asked Jade.
"He's dealing with Shang Tsung as we speak. He wanted us to find Kotal, so we can end Shang Tsung once and for all." said Sub-Zero.
"Well, if the fate of the realms is on the line, I guess I have no choice." said Kotal.
"Then let's go! We're wasting too much time." said Erron.
"Alright, then. Soldier, may you please gather my clothes?" asked Jade.
"Yes, Ms. Jade." the soldier said before he quickly walked away to find Jade's outfit.
Kotal then got of bed and exposed his nude body, which caused Johnny and Jax to look away momentarily.
"Damn, man. Do you not have any drawers?" asked Jax.
"I have recently become a nudist, so I go around like this from now on. Is that a problem?" said Kotal.
Sub-Zero, Erron, Kitana, Cassie, and Jacqui all shook their heads.
Jax said, "It's not exactly my thing but I'll allow it."
"Yeah, it's cool. It's whatever." Johnny said in an uncomfortable tone.
Cassie rolled her eyes and said, "Dad, why are you being so squeamish? It's not like it's the first time you've seen another guy's junk. Mom told me about you and Goro."
"Yes, I know about what happened between me and Goro. I slid too far when I did my nut punch and saw Goro's large, dangling nutsack. I wanted to bleach my eyes after that, so forgive me if I'm not super comfortable around naked dudes." said Johnny.
"Your clothes, Ms. Jade." said the soldier, who came back with Jade's outfit.
"Thank you. Now, can you all leave please? I need to get changed." said Jade.
Everyone left and stood outside the bedroom, so Jade could get ready. While waiting, Jax said, "Damn, you are lucky to have a woman like her."
"You have no idea." said Kotal.
"You're seriously not going into battle completely unarmed, are you?" asked Erron.
"I'll have my helmet and sword. That's all I need." said Kotal.
"Well, alright. Do whatever you want. If your dick gets chopped off, don't go crying to me." said Erron.
After a few minutes of waiting (which included Kotal getting his helmet and sword), Jade was finally in her signature, green outfit and had her signature staff with her.
"Okay, let's kill that old bastard and save the realms. Again." Jade said before Kotal teleported everyone to the Chaotian Age, where the final battle between Liu Kang and Shang Tsung will take place.
Hope you enjoyed the chapter. Things took a real turn, didn't they? And now Kotal's retirement is on hold until Shang Tsung is hopefully defeated. When it comes to bringing in other characters, I had to pick and choose who would make the most sense to be there. I couldn't pick anyone who was dead in the Mortal Kombat 11 story mode, so Sonya and Scorpion were out of the question. Overall, I think my lineup of heroes is pretty solid. The next chapter will revolve around the final fight between Liu Kang and Shang Tsung, so it should definitely be interesting. Also, I'm working on new and old stories and some the older ones should be done within the next few weeks, so that's exciting. Other than that, I hope you all have a wonderful day.
