After leaving his 'would be' place of death, Naruto and Viola slowly made their way down the crowded streets of Dressrosa. The pair had to move slower than the blond would have liked but it was necessary. Even in their 'disguises' they were in danger of being captured if recognized. Viola had an image to maintain and a plan to follow through with. If any of Doflamingo's people were to recognize them now it could cause more problems than they were already facing.

Doflamingo already knew they were on the island, from the very beginning as it turned out, but now he'd taken his main source of recon. His eyes darted left to right, scoping out every part of the area hoping to find a secluded enough area to pull out his den den mushi to contact Law. He clicked his teeth in annoyance as they moved further through the streets. Every damn street was packed.

'There's too many people and toys here.' He thought in slight frustration. 'I'm not sure if the toys will pose a problem but it's better to be safe than sorry'.

There was no way to tell how many people the warlord had on his payroll here. He couldn't get away with making a call discreetly in the middle of the street. Realizing it would be useless to get angry at something he couldn't do anything about, he took a deep breath and calmed himself down. Glancing over at Viola, he noticed she was on the same boat as him. Constantly looking around from behind the dark lenses on her glasses.

The people all around were dancing and seemingly enjoying themselves. Happy couples danced to music and fed each other unaware of the impending battle that was looming closer. Pulling her closer to him, the woman looped her arm around his and gave him a curious look.

"Blend in." He answered her unasked question. The former assassin gave him a pointed look and smirked for a moment, letting him know she wasn't completely buying it but nodded anyway. Adding to the act, she leaned her head on his shoulder and pressed his arm into her bust the same way some of the women around were doing.

As they walked Naruto remembered what Law had asked of him. He figured it would be difficult to obtain the info but that wasn't the case at all. Doflamingo's desperateness had all but ensured him that his objective would be complete. Viola was an assassin for him for years and as such would be a fountain of info.

He couldn't help but smirk.

'Doflamingo you made it that much easier for us to get to you.' Naruto thought with some glee before calming himself down once again.

"Viola" He called out to her in a tone louder than his regular one. Fortunately the music playing was able to mask most of their words, even more so since their heads were rather close to each other's. The woman glanced up at him and raised an eyebrow.

"Yes?" She asked politely.

"I have a few questions for you." She nodded. "All of Doflamingo's family is here right?"

She nodded again, having a feeling she knew what he would ask.

"If we're gonna free Dressrosa, we need to know who's here and what the roles they play are. Do you know anything?" He asked.

Viola stayed quiet for a moment as they walked, trying to figure out where to start. For a split second she thought about what was going on. If anyone else had asked her about the Doflamingo family, she'd have killed them or her family would face the consequences of her actions. This man was different though, she could see that much, she had seen that much.

"Doflamingo has four officers that he entrusted to run Dressrosa with him." She began in an angry tone. Her hatred for the Donquixote family was making itself known, not that he could blame her.

"The first is a man named Diamante. He's the proprietor of the colosseum. He runs the show there, makes the rules, and sets up the matches. Diamante has his own division of soldiers that he is in charge of. He's a talented swordsman and is proficient with the Hira-Hira no Mi. He's able to bestow the properties of fabric onto himself and things he touches. It doesn't sound threatening but combined with his skills with a sword, it's cut down a lot of people who have badmouthed him and the family." She explained.

Naruto took in the information and added it to the mental file he was creating. Diamante didn't sound like too big of a threat but he wouldn't be written off. No doubt any of the Straw Hat's would be able to beat him if need be.

"What else does he do?" Naruto asked.

"He makes sure the people see as much violence as possible. He limits the amount of armor the combatants can wear. Those bastards even have my niece participating, and I can't do anything about it." She said with anger in her voice. He was sure by the slight cracking in her voice that if they saw underneath the glasses, everyone would see tears brimming in her eyes.

The blond felt her grip on his arm tighten when she said the last bit and even his anger began to flair up. He knew Doflamingo was a piece of shit from the interaction he'd had with the man, but he didn't know it was to this degree. At that moment he promised himself he would do everything in his power to make sure he and Law made Doflamingo suffer before they gave him the gift of death.

Naruto leaned his head over, resting it atop hers in an attempt to comfort the woman. Her grip loosened after a moment and she exhaled deeply.

"I'm sorry." She apologized but didn't let go of his arm.

"Don't apologize. It's understandable why you're angry." He replied. "Who are the other seated officers?" He asked in a more gentle tone.

Viola took a breath and continued. "Trebol. He acts as second in command to Doflamingo. He's advised Doflamingo since they took over Dressrosa all those years ago and can be found close by him." She said. "He has a devil fruit as well, the Beta Beta no Mi which gives him the ability to control mucus."

Naruto scrunched up his face in disgust. Of all the fruits one could have gotten, that had to be one of the worst he could think of.

"I wouldn't consider him powerful but he'll be difficult to reach since he's always around Doflamingo. Like all the other seated officers he's in charge of his own division of people."

'So he always sticks around the leader huh?' Naruto thought to himself. 'He's of no real concern, once we make it to the boss we can handle him easily enough.

"Then we have Pica." She said, breaking him out of his thoughts. "To my knowledge he doesn't have a set role like the others and is one of the main enforcers for their family. He's well versed with haki and ate the Ishi Ishi no Mi. It lets him merge with and manipulate stones making him almost impossible to detect once he's merged with one."

Naruto looked around the area and frowned. Everything from the ground they walked on to the buildings all had an abundance of stone incorporated in them. Not only that but the island itself was surrounded by them. He wasn't sure if Doflamingo planned on taking this island with that in mind but it definitely worked in their favor.

Pica could be anywhere and move about freely with how much stone was around. Perhaps for an up and coming pirate it would be a setback but him, Law, and the Straw Hat's? It wouldn't be too difficult for them to use Kenbunshoku haki to track him down.

The possibilities with his fruit were the only thing that was worrying about him. If he could merge with the stones then it stood to reason that he could also manipulate them at will. Depending on the area, attacks could come from multiple different directions and he'd have the advantage.

'It would need to be either Law, Roronoa Zoro, or me who deals with him.' Naruto inferred. 'Realistically Roronoa is the only option since we'd be too busy making our way towards Doffy to do anything about him.'

Viola took a glance up at him and saw him silently mulling over everything she said and continued with the final member. "The last of his seated members is perhaps the most ruthless and loyal. Vergo."

Naruto smirked and shook his head. "You don't need to worry about him. My Captain already killed him when we were on Punk Hazard." He told her, relishing the wide eyed look he got from her.

Viola was shocked but delighted at the same time. Vergo was one of the most powerful men she knew working for Doflamingo. His haki was absurd and his skills with the bamboo he used was frightening. To hear that he'd already been picked off fueled the fire of hope in her just a tad bit more.

"Is there anyone on the island close to Doflamingo in terms of strength?" Naruto asked.

The woman shook her head. "No. He's the strongest in Dressrosa. Vergo would be considered the second strongest any time he was around."

Naruto smiled. "Perfect."

The two continued their walk, still glancing around for a potential spot to stop and make the call when Viola spoke again. "Do you think you'll be able to get him this time?"

He glanced at her with a raised eyebrow.

"It's been two years since he went to Marineford." She said, referring to Doflamingo. "He's gotten stronger since then. Before he used to work on whatever it is he's using Dressrosa for, but since his return he changed."

'Changed?' Naruto thought. 'He sounded the same as before when he spoke to him through the Den Den Mushi on Punk Hazard. She also doesn't know about the SMILE's if she doesn't know what he's using the island for.'

"I wondered what had caused it, why he suddenly began going to secluded areas of the island to train. When I saw the memory of your battle with him it all made sense. His encounter with you changed him. You had him on death's door and he only barely survived and he's not trying to be put in that situation again."

Naruto looked ahead and cursed himself at the memory. If only he'd spent less time taunting the man he'd be dead already. He shook his head, what happened in the past was irrelevant now.

"I didn't expect him to stay at the same level he was back then. He's not the only one who's gotten stronger though, I have too." He said before finally giving her his full attention. "Believe me when I tell you that this is the last time you and Dressrosa will have to listen to Doflamingo."

The pair stared at each other with intensity. Viola believed that he could beat Doflamingo, the memory she'd seen was proof of that but there was still a part of her deep inside that was afraid. This would be the best chance her people had of being free and if they failed, no one would ever set them free. The heartbreak and disappointment that would come from that would be devastating.

Still, the look in the man's eyes said that he fully believed that they would win. Seeing as this was the best chance she had, she would put her hopes and dreams on his shoulders.

"Alright. I'll hold you to that." She replied softly.

They stayed quiet for a while until they cut through an alley and were finally away from prying eyes. Using kenbunshoku haki, he made sure no one was around that could potentially eavesdrop on his conversation.

Pulling out the small transponder snail he dialed Law and tapped his foot impatiently while it rang.

"Come on Law pick up…" Naruto muttered in slight distress.

"Naruto." He finally answered.

"Law. Have you made it to Green Bit?" He asked.

"Almost there. We had a bit of trouble making it past the bridge to Green Bit since it was being guarded. Fighting fish made it difficult but we made it. Why?"

"You're walking into a trap." Viola said, speaking to the snail. As if Law himself was staring at her, the eyes on the snail turned to look at her.

"Who is this?" Law asked.

"She was one of Doflamingo's assassin's and the reason he knew we were coming. She's with us now. I have most of the information we need except for the SMILE factory location." He informed him "How close are you to the meeting point?" He asked shortly after.

"We're…shit." The snail frowned, mirroring the expression on Law's face. "He's here and he's not alone. Marines and an Admiral."

Naruto grit his teeth. He knew there would be marines but an Admiral wasn't part of the plan. "Law listen to me, Doflamingo didn't resign from the Shichibukai. He's still one of them, meaning the Marines and Doflamingo are there for you."

"I figured that out by myself. They aren't attacking him and the Admiral is taking orders from Doflamingo. Where are you?" He asked.

Viola got closer to the snail and responded. "We're not too far from Green Bit, five minutes if we run." She told him.

"Do whatever you can to hold them off Law." Naruto said, grabbing Viola's hand and running. "I'll be there to back you up soon." The connection with his Captain was terminated and the two sped up towards the battlefield.

As they ran, Naruto wondered how exactly Doflamingo was able to pull off faking a resignation. It wouldn't be as easy as saying 'I changed my mind', the government wouldn't allow something like that. Unless he had some pull within the world government there was no feasible way it could be done. He shook his head, that didn't matter right now, what mattered was getting to the battlefield.

They arrived at the closed off bridge in time to see smoke in the distance and feel the Earth rumble slightly.

As much as he hoped that was Law's doing, he couldn't help but think of the worst case scenario. "Viola, I need you to stay here." Seeing her about to retort, he held a hand up. "If Dofamingo sees you, he'll try to kill you for turning on him. There's a chance he'll know if any of the people we left back there reported but at least this way you'll stay alive. Take this." He handed her the Den Den Mushi.

"If I'm not back within ten to fifteen minutes, hide. We'll call you and regroup." Viola looked at the small snail then back up at him and nodded.

"Naruto." She said before he could take off. "You're the last chance we have at freedom. Please come back alive." She pleaded.

The blond smirked. "I'll be back I promise. We'll deal with Doflamingo and then see how we free your sister from the colosseum." Not having any more time to spare, he began running across the bridge at full speed. His eyes darted left and right and his guard was up. Law said there was fighting fish here.

For them to close the bridge because of fish meant…just as he was finishing up his thoughts, two large fish shot out of the water. The black fishes had large horns on their heads, their body's were easily wider than the entire bridge.

'I can see why they closed it.' Naruto thought as the fishes rammed into the steel bars holding the bridge up. The bars bent under the immense pressure of the hit and Naruto knew that any more of those and he'd be swimming with them. Unsheathing his blade, Naruto continued running until he sensed the second attack about to connect with the bridge.

Jumping high into the air, he swung at the fish. Just before it managed to connect, the fish's body was sliced in half down the middle and with it, all of the momentum it was carrying. He kissed his teeth in annoyance, he didn't have time to be fighting with fish.

Luckily, it seemed seeing one of their own fall back into the water in two pieces bought him enough time to cross without another attack. Now all he had to do was make it through the greenery and he would have made it.

As he passed by a large tree, his eyes widened and he was forced to duck under three almost invisible strings that easily cut the trees around him. The familiar sound of Law creating a 'room' was heard.

When he finally managed to get out into the open, he wasted no time. The few marines that the Admiral had brought with him were easily dispatched, all of them hitting the ground before they even realized they had been dealt with.

Up ahead, he could see Law continuously hacking and slashing to avoid strings as well as sword slashes courtesy of the Admiral. The 'room' extended far enough to where he was constantly switching himself out with logs, stones, and any other pieces of debris he could find.

The amount of energy it took to maintain a 'room' was immense and had this been even a year ago, the man would be reaching his wits end. In a burst of speed he disappeared from his spot and reappeared alongside his Captain, his blade clashing with that of the Admiral.

The first thing Naruto noticed was the scar on the man's face along with white eyes that 'stared' back at him.

"You're not Trafalgar Law." He commented in a deep tone.

"Uzumaki." Doflamingo spat. Naruto pushed off the blade and sent a fast Gift Ball in the man's direction. It missed of course but it had done its job in creating space. Doflamingo looked down to see the ground beneath them turn back, forcing him to pull himself up and away from them.

The Admiral, Issho, followed suit, landing gently next to the heavenly demon.

"Glad to see you're alright Law." Naruto commented truthfully. The blue sphere around them along with the black substance below disappeared as the two men canceled their abilities.

Law spat a bit of blood on the ground next to him. "Good thing you made it when you did. It was starting to get difficult dealing with both of them."

Naruto stared down the two men and smirked at the unusually serious look Doflamingo had on his face. Smirking at the man, he chuckled in an overly loud tone. "What's the matter Doffy, scared?" He asked sarcastically. "You went through the trouble of having an assassin try to take me out the moment we got here, I'm flattered."

The veins on the eccentric man's forehead bulged in an unsightly way. "Sending a good looking woman was a good plan, but you should know I have no problem killing them either." He lied. "Violet and the goons you had ready all suffocated to death in seconds, though I suppose they went out in a nicer way than Monet." He added.

Law's lips began to curl up at the sight of the cocky man beginning to lose his temper. That was good, the angrier he got, the more likely he'd be to make a mistake.

Their instincts flared and both men ducked a second before strings passed where their heads were.

"Room" Law called. The small transparent dome surrounded the area and the battle resumed. Naruto dashed forward, arm pulled back ready to cut the older man's head off. Doflamingo jumped over the swing and created strings that he attached to the environment to jump around at great speeds. Naruto wasn't idle however, as long as they were in the room, he and Law would have the edge.

Glancing over, he saw Law and Issho with their blades continuously clashing. Giving chase to Doflamingo, Naruto began cutting every string he could see as well as the many branches he would occasionally step on. A downward slash removed a bit of wood from a large tree.

Quickly, he kicked the piece at his opponent while creating a bow out of the black substance from his devil fruit. Firing off three haki clad arrows, his eyes locked with his Captain for a split second and a silent conversation passed between them.

Unsurprisingly, the man dodged the branch and began weaving around the arrows, using new strings to bounce around. As the last arrow was passing by the man's head, Law lifted three fingers.

"Shambles"

The arrow was replaced with Naruto who was already swinging downwards. The man hadn't gotten this far in life for no reason though and quickly swiped his hand in the air, revealing five different colored strings to block the blade. The strings were strong enough to withstand the Haki coated blade but even so, he was still sent crashing into the ground below.

The impact created a small crater that was vacated shortly after it was made. Doflamingo grit his teeth and began furiously swiping his hands in front of him, forcing the other three men to have to dodge. Law jumped back while Issho raised his blade in front of him to avoid the strings cutting him into pieces.

The blond moved in a zigzag pattern, refusing to make it easy for Doflamingo to hit him and closed the gap between them once more. Doflamingo extended a hand out, palm facing outward as Naruto approached.

"Overheat!" The man called out.

The blond's eyes glowed for a split second before returning to normal.

As he took one more step, he changed his trajectory and veered to the right. This was the right call in the end. A dark orange whip narrowly missed his head, easily cutting through a large portion of the greenery around them.

'This isn't getting us anywhere. As long as the Admiral is here, Law can't focus on the plan.' He thought angrily. Glancing down he saw a stone near his foot and a plan formed in his mind. In less than a second, he created a bow and let off five arrows before the man could blink.

His opponents eyes locked onto the haki clad arrows and that was the moment Naruto moved. Ignoring Doflamingo for the time being, he rushed at the Admiral while he was clashing with Law. Despite being blind, Naruto had no doubt that the man knew he had joined their fight.

"Law." He called out mid swing. "Shambles. Back to back." He called out. The phrase was vague enough that no one would know what exactly it meant unless they had been there when they had created the strategy.

The surgeon of death smirked and raised a hand, executing the command. Naruto's blade was about to connect with the Marine just as his body disappeared and the angry visage of Doflmingo was seen. To his credit, he was stumped for a split second before he composed himself. Seeing Law in front of him, he smirked and swiped at the air.

Knowing that the spider-like web of string would follow to block his attack, Naruto let off one of his newer attacks he'd developed. A black ring formed at his finger tip before launching straight ahead, becoming smaller and smaller until it wasn't visible to the naked eye. Just as the hand reached behind his back, the ring clipped onto the man's middle finger.

"Shambles/Goshikito" Law and Doflamingo yelled at the same time. Law disappeared but Doffy didn't seem bothered, he knew what was coming the moment Law yelled out the attack. Naruto appeared in front of him with the black blade poised to stop the strings. The man's vicious smile disappeared a moment later when blood exited his mouth and his body was shot forward.

"Injection shot" Law called out.

Naruto dodged the body that blew past him and watched it fly into the water surrounding the small island.

"Let's go." Law called out. The 'room' faded and the two men began making a break for the bridge to escape.

"What about Caesar?" Naruto asked, jumping over a large tree stump.

Law shook his head. "We don't need him, besides we planned for something like this."

Naruto remembered when Law threatened Doflamingo on the Sunny. They'd replaced Caesar's heart with a false one while keeping the real one with them. He smiled, this was why it was important to have a back up. Now even without him present, a squeeze of their hand would be all it took to keep some leverage over Doflamingo.

The Captain looked back and frowned when he saw they weren't being chased but didn't let up on his speed.

"They won't come after us. They'll be busy looking at Doflamingo's hand."

"What do you mean?"

"You noticed there was a gap in the web right?" He asked.

Law remembered after using shambles there was one finger that hadn't produced any strings, creating an opening in the defense.

"Is that the new technique you mentioned?" He asked.

Naruto nodded. "One of them. I created it for people like Doflamingo who have a means of avoiding my regular attacks. I call it 'Gift Ring'. It concentrates my fruit's power into a single point and causes instant death on the part of the body it pierces." He said proudly.

The Captain had a shocked look at the details of the attack. He shook his head and smiled in relief that he'd managed to find him and add him to his crew. Fighting against someone like him would be a deathwish.

"Can it be used multiple times like your 'Gift Ball'?" He asked, trying to think of potential uses.

Naruto shook his head. "I can only shoot them one at a time, for now at least. Plus, they take up a lot of energy."

It was unfortunate but he was sure with enough training he could overcome that restriction. They managed to cross the bridge with no issues and Naruto saw the cloaked form of Viola waiting for them at the end. Not breaking their stride, he grabbed her by the arm and the three disappeared into the town.

She led them into one of the many buildings she used when on assassinations and closed the door. Pulling the cloak off her body, she turned to look at the two men.

Law did the same, looking her up and down wondering if she could really be trusted.

"Law this is Viola, she's our insider on Doflamingo and the rest of them. She even told me who's who and where we can find them. We can trust her." Naruto told him.

Law turned his attention from her to his first mate and nodded after a minute. He would trust him.

"Alright. First things first, let's see how things are going with the Straw Hat's and move accordingly." Law ordered.

Naruto nodded and turned to Viola while Law tried to reach out to them.

"You're going to have to stay cloaked and out of sight as much as possible. I most likely convinced Doflamingo that you're dead so hopefully that should keep you safe slightly. We'll need you to be our eyes and ears."

Viola nodded with a look of determination on her face. Seeing him return in one piece after fighting against the false king of the island reassured her that she'd made the right choice putting her faith in them.

They would save her people and put an end to Doflamingo's reign of terror. She was sure of it.
