From One General to Another…

Three Words

Hank,

I was happy to receive your e-mail. You gave us quite a scare, there. I can't tell you how glad I am that you all were able to get that virus under control, and that you and most of the SGC are alright. The Ori are proving to be as big a threat as Dr. Jackson predicted.

Speaking of Daniel, the founder of the "puppy dog" stare. I found the best way to deal with SG-1 when they get like that was to act sympathetic, but stay firm, and then quickly bolt into my office and pretend to be speaking on the red phone. That usually kept them from following and continuing to beg. Be warned though, as soon as Carter starts with the "with all due respect, sir" it's all over. You might as well just give in then.

I know the position takes some getting used to, and that the Ori are proving themselves a formidable new threat. Though, whenever you start feeling that you've got it tough, keep these three words in mind: Colonel Jack O'Neill. Every command has its challenges.

Take care,
George
