Disclaimer: I don't own Danny Phantom or Scooby-Doo and the Ghoul School. I do not own the original story this is based on.

"Phantasma!?" Shaggy and Scooby exclaimed. They peered at the banshee from head to toe. She looked the same and acted the same, but something was off.

The Great Dane he is, Scooby gave the ghoul a sniff before confirming her identity with a slobbering lick to the face.

"Rhanty!" The dog said. "Rit is ryou."

Phanty giggled as she wiped the drool from her cheek before hugging the dog. It had been too long since they saw each other. And who wouldn't miss the Great Dane?

"Awww, Scooby, I've missed you too," Phanty said, cackling as she hugged him before hugging Shaggy too. "You too, Shaggy."

"Like, it's great to see you, but what are you doing here?" Shaggy asked, pointing to the ground.

"I'm here with my haunting hunk," Phanty replied with hearts in her eyes.

"Haunting Hunk?" Shaggy questioned.

"Raunting Runk?" Scooby reiterated.

Phanty giggled again. She floated in joy before Scooby dragged her feet back to earth as Shaggy made sure no one was looking.

"My boyfriend, Danny. We're staying here with my mother. We're on spring break!" Phanty explained.

"Like really? Ha ha ha! So are we!" Shaggy replied, recalling a previous conversation.

"My friend Danny is dating a girl named Phantasma."

Tucker's words rang in the duo's heads. Their mental gears turned for a bit before they properly answered.

"Uh, Phanty, this guy...he wouldn't like be called Danny Fenton, would he?"

Phanty went wide eye as she nodded. The world seemed small now, enough for her boyfriend and friends to know each other, or so she thought.

"You know him?" Phantasma said before cackling. "I could grab him, and we'd sit down together for a spell."

While the idea was fantastic, Shaggy and Scooby were a little drained from the road trip over to the spa. They were always hungry but not much energy for a social gathering, especially with an energetic ghoul like Phanty. They'd never keep up.

"Like, we'll catch up with later. We just got here and could use a day to ourselves. How about tomorrow if possible?" Shaggy asked.

"Ok, Shaggy. I'll haunt you guys later," Phanty said. While the ghoul was happy to see the two, she mostly wanted to spend time with Danny. Group meetings would wait.

After all, how often could Phantasma enjoy her boyfriend without her father butting in, knowing full well they'd be spending the week together?

The group didn't encounter Danny, Phanty, or anyone for the rest of the day, but the boy and his dog thought it would be best to tell the gang and Tucker about their presence later. And while it was a nice idea to meet each other. They all needed some time to unwind.

The sun shined once more as everyone woke up. It was the second day of their vacation, and Danny and company were enjoying themselves.

They got up, had breakfast, and went to go have fun. Danny and Phanty were eager to spend more time at the pool, Phanty's mother planned to relax in the sun with a good book, along with the occasional company of her daughter, and Jazz took her time enjoying the amenities of the spa, especially with such perks as the masseuses at hand. Living in a ghost haunted town was not stress free.

Even Little Dani was having fun as she got to spend time with Danny and Phanty and get to know her other cousin, Jazz.

The two quickly hit it off and bonded over topics. Mainly those Dani spoke of, but that didn't mean Jazz wasn't interested.

"So you managed to hit the winning strike," Jazz said.

"Yup, those Calloway cadets were too slow," Dani said, pumping her arms. "And I'm practicing for next year too."

Danny smiled upon hearing this, and so did Phanty. The two were happy to see the girls getting along.

"This is a good sign," Phanty said, giving Danny some google eyes. "Now," she added in the boy's ear. "How about we go back to where we left off?"

Phanty knew Dani was in good hands, and she wanted some more time with Danny. Catching the hint, the ghost boy led the banshee out the door and somewhere more private.

"They're really obvious," Dani quipped, giggling with glee.

"I'll say, they didn't even notice we were watching," Jazz remarked.

The two giggled as Danny and Phanty went to the pool, specifically near a waterfall, to find a nice secluded spot.

Of course, they would only enjoy such privacy for a bit until they wanted to join in on other activities. Phanty had been dying to swim around and even challenged Danny to a race.

Lunch came soon, much to the pleasure of Dani's massive appetite. She would have made a rush to the buffet had Lady Christine not have stopped her.

"Now, young Dani, there's plenty of food to go around. It's not like it'll grow legs and walk away," the ghostly mother quipped.

"But the people here do," Dani complained, pointing to the buffet tables. "And they got their plates full."

"Well, good for them. Other people need to eat as well."

The younger halfa huffed as she walked over.

Jazz, though a bit doting on her new family, couldn't help stifling some laughter. It was seeing a child get used to another mother, but she knew that was not the case.

Unbeknownst to the group, more than half the food was gone by the time they arrived at the tables.

Phantasma gave a small cackle as the others looked at her in confusion. The banshee did not reply but glanced at a table where she saw Shaggy and Scooby chowing down on what was left of their plates. Besides them sat two other teens: a blonde boy and a girl with red hair. She decided to leave them be as introductions would be for another time.

Besides, they all needed to grab something to eat as well. And Dani had stacked her plate high with everything she could find. Jazz and Danny laughed at the comical sight, wondering how much Fenton DNA she's channeling.

Their dad would be proud.

"What?" Dani asked, noticing the laughter.

"Nothing, just that...you'd fit in with us pretty well," Danny answered.

The young girl looked at her place with neutral emotions as she the other grabbed some food.

After lunch, everyone split up for a little downtime. Danny transformed for some exercise. Phantasma wanted to join, but she knew herself to be on a lower level than him, for now. So, they decided to meet back at the pool.

Danny went back to change, leaving Phanty time with her mother. After a while, the ghoul got impatient and went looking for the boy.

"I wonder if my haunting hunk is ready," Phanty giggled as she went to go see him.

Phantasma phased into Danny's room, careful in making sure no one saw her. She had gotten through and saw the ghost boy who had gotten his swimsuit on. As he turned around, Phanty went invisible, getting a full view of a shirtless Danny. She almost drooled from the excitement she felt. Danny didn't seem to notice her as she phased out.

Phantasma turned invisible as her head floated to the clouds. She could imagine an adult Danny, all cut with muscle, pure muscle. The ghoul giggled dreamily at how wonderful that would seem.

She could imagine the ripped, hard-cut body the boy could grow into. It wasn't much of a stretch, given his ghost-fighting activities.

She could see him lifting weights in shorts and a tank top as the banshee would land on top. She'd admire his chest and abs as they quickly form into a godly shape, all the while Danny would give a wink and continue, not bothered by the extra few pounds.

Phanty then went to a dance studio in the monster realm where the two would practice salsa, wearing the traditional flashy dress for her and low, very low in this daydream, cut shirt for Danny, complete with a black, dead rose in his mouth.

She then went to the day of their wedding with her in a ghoulish and pale white wedding dress. Approaching the altar, she would see an adult Danny with his hair flowing in a gust of wind specifically on him. He wore a tuxedo, but part of it was ripped, showing abs so cut, one could cut cheese on them.

"Oh, Danny~" Phanty shuddered quietly.

The banshee had her head so high in the clouds, she didn't notice Danny walking out of his room looking for her. She had forgotten about their rendezvous or couldn't focus on it at the moment.

Unknown to Danny and the others, another ghost and mortal just arrived at the resort. One is a disinterested goth girl, and the other was a wacky-looking ghost looking for some fun. The quiet town where they came from didn't do anything for him.

"Seriously!? What kind of place is this? It's a snore fest," Beetlejuice said in his usual, over-the-top way as he began to transform and harass the other guests. "Time to liven things up."

Lydia saw her friend zoom away and sighed. She came here for a relaxing time, and her ghostly friend could use the same thing. But it seems spas are not for everyone.

"I better stop him before he causes any more trouble," She said as she went to stop the ghost.

Sadly, Beetlejuice was too fast and suddenly transformed into a giant cockroach, much to the dismay and fear of the other guests. People screamed as they saw the enormous bug, pushing everyone, including Lydia, away.

"Now, let's find some real food," Beetlejuice yelled as he skittered around. He phased into every nook and cranny as he chased out any bugs. And any human who saw him ran in fear and for a change of pants.

Eventually, Lydia made her way back as she gave her friend a stern glare.

"Come on, try to relax for once," Lydia said, but the ghost paid her no mind as he kept scouring the area.

"Seriously, what's a guy gotta do to find some bed bugs around here?"

The teenage girl he is with rolled her eyes at his dramatics.

"Just relax," the pasty girl replied.

"I am, but it's hard to find any good grub around here," The ghost said, being overdramatic. "Seriously, what kind of spa service is this?"

The pale girl sighed as he kept complaining.

"Beetlejuice, calm down. I'm sure this place is crawling with insects somewhere," The girl said, but the ghost kept sniffing around, literally.

"It's too boring here. I need something fun," the ghost said before noticing a certain banshee. "Hey, isn't that Mr. Phantom's kid? The guy who's always yelling?"

"Who?" Lydia asked. She looked in the same direction but couldn't make out who Beetlejuice was talking about with all the people around.

"Some guy who owes me something. But if here's here, then maybe we CAN have some fun."

Beetlejuice then flew in that direction while Lydia sighed at this.

"So much for a quiet getaway," She muttered.

She can already predict that things are gonna get crazy. Not that it wasn't to be expected.

Beetlejuice is always crazy.

Danny minded his own business when he arrived at the pool to see people screaming. At first, the boy thought this to be part of an event or screams of joy. Then again, this wasn't an amusement park. And that's when he saw a giant, chuckling cockroach. Freaking out, he immediately blasted it with a ghost ray, sending the critter flying back.

"Ok, that was freaky," Danny commented. The bug soon flipped around and sprouted its wings, revealing Beetlejiuces's face. "And's that freakier."

"Hey, relax. Have a snack," Beetlejuice said as he transformed back into his regular form. Well, kinda normal for him. It was his black and white pinstripe suit with a sofa and bowl of bugs. He even added a soda hat on top. Though it was a good guess, it wasn't regular soda.

"Alright, buddy, who are you, and what do ya want?" Danny asked with glowing fists.

"Sorry, pal," Beetlejuice quipped. "Can't tell ya anything. Ya have to guess." The specter burped. "Though to be honest, I was kinda expecting someone else. Who are you anyway?"

"Danny Phantom."

Beetlejuice stop slurping on his "soda" as he heard the name. He rolled his eyes and dropped his smile. "Hmmm...real original, kid. Tell me were all the good names taken already? I mean, there is a Box Ghost."

Casually, Beetlejuice flung an ectoball. And by casually, I mean he didn't aim. The attack was far away from Danny and landed on a pool chair.

"Okay, Mr. Roach," Danny quipped with glowing hands. "If that's how you're gonna play."

The ghost boy charged forward as he reeled his fist back. He stared straight at Bettlejuice's head. On the other hand, the ghost was giving a sly, cool smile as he floated in place. A fist was about to fly into his face.

Or it would have had Beetlejuice not had done his signature scary face. The specter spun his head screaming before stopping to stare at the ghost boy with something completely terrifying.

Danny froze in fear at the eldritch-like horror from Beetljuice's deconstructed face. It was unlike anything he ever saw, and he had to get away.

But the fear kept him in place till Beetlejuice stopped.

"Pretty cool, huh? Been working on that trick for years. It never gets old! Ahahaha!" Beetlejuice cackled loudly as Danny steeled his nerves and flew in, delivering the belated punch. The ghost boy even added a blast at the end for a little just desserts.

"Seriously!? Who are you!?" Danny cried out, firing shot after shot. "I just wanted a vacation away from ghost fighting!"

The boy made a swing at the specter, only for him to disappear. The pinstriped ghost appeared in front with a screaming, spinning head of horrors. It scared Danny back as he fired a few ice blasts to encase the head. Only to regret it immediately.

"I thought freezing his head would shut him up. But it's still scary."

"Tell me about it," Beetlejuice said from within the icy prison. In seconds, he burst out, none the worse. "Of course, how can you contain all this with ice?"

Danny blinked. He wanted to ask how but figured it to be duplication and iced that copy as well.

"Hey! What gives!?" The other Beetlejuice complained from inside the ice, knocking against the prison like it was glass.

"Is it too much to ask for a proper vacation?" Danny groaned before firing off more ghost rays as the two escaped and merged into one. He had hoped a distant town wouldn't have any ghosts, but this guy proved him wrong.

"When you're with the ghost with the most, peace and quiet are sure to...diet? Hmmm, coulda sworn I had a word to go with quiet," Beetlejuice said, muttering the last part, before casting a beam of his ghostly energy at the floor. The ground twisted and confirmed into many hands that sprouted into the air. "Oh, well, guess I'll just give you a hand or twenty."

Every pair of hands clapped as Beetlejuice took a bow.

Danny growled at this before he started blasting away.

"Time to put your act on ice!" Danny yelled as he sent an ice blast.

Beetlejuice extorted his body to curved supernaturally to the side as he dodged it. Yawning, the ghost seemed to be inspecting his nails, sending a cocky grin towards Danny.

"Cute kid. Now, how about some real juice!?" The crazy ghost cackled. He rubbed his hands together as energy formed.

Danny braced himself for whatever would be thrown. Given how things have gone so far, the was no way to tell what would happen. However, before this fight could continue, someone interrupted it.

"Beetlejuice! Beetlejuice! Beetlejuice!" Yelled a voice.

"What!?" Beetlejuice cried out, seeing the form of an angry Lydia down below. "Oh, come on, babe!"

Within seconds he disappeared, and Lydia walked over to Danny.

"Sorry about that. Beetlejuice can get a little crazy sometimes," the girl understated.

"You know that guy?" Danny questioned, and the goth sighed.

"He's my friend. I brought him because I thought he could use some time away from Peaceful Pines," she said before placing her fingers on her forehead. "Guess that wasn't the case."

"It's alright. I don't think ghosts like starting from their territory that much," Danny said.

"Glad to know. Maybe next time, we'll do something else," the girl said. "By the way, if you don't mind me asking, who are you?"

"Oh right, sorry. My name is Danny Phantom," Danny introduced.

"My name is Lydia," The pale girl said as she eyed him. Danny Phantom was definitely her type, and his looks were charming to her. She walked up to him and placed a finger on his chest. "So, what's a guy like you doing here?"

Being clueless as usual, Danny didn't notice her interest, answering in his own polite way.

"Oh right, my girlfriend's mom paid for this trip for us," Danny remarked with a smile.

Lydia's smile dropped a bit. While she could be happy for others, part of her was saddened to see a cute boy taken. But, she giggled, not letting such feeling give any sway. She was here to enjoy herself, not pick up cute ghost boys.

Not that there were any.

"Well, that's good to hear. I won a lottery and got to spend time here. Hopefully, next time we see each other, my friend will behave himself," Lydia added before walking away.

Danny nodded deeply at that. It probably won't be the last he saw of the ghost. But for now, he could at least relax and enjoy himself again. He came all this way for a working vacation.

Mystery Incorporated had just split up to investigate the screams. While they would split up into two in the past, everyone had something else they wanted to do. Shaggy and Scooby volunteered to guard and search the food court, to everyone's amusement. Tucker and Velma went to investigate the sauna. The boy had convinced his girlfriend they could relax. Fred opted to search the lounge, but Daphne wanted to check out the pool and work on her tan.

The redhead was coasting the lines as she saw no one there. Not seeing anything unusual beyond tipped and tossed chairs and tables, except for a woman in a Victorian-era dress, she decided to pick up on her tan. Searching for the perfect spot, she ran into Danny, who had just transformed back. The two bumped into each other, knocking the ghost boy into a chair and Daphne into the pool.

"Sorry about that," The boy said apologetically as he helped the girl out.

Daphne looked at him and smiled. His dark hair and cool blue eyes were appealing. He was pretty cute, she thought. The girl grabbed the boy's hand as she flipped her wet hair and began draining on the side before glancing at the boy.

"That's ok," Daphne said with a smile and pose. "You looking for something? Or someone?".

Danny glanced at the girl. While she was pretty, the boy was more focused on finding his girlfriend at the moment. There was no way she didn't hear the screams or the sound of him fighting.

"I'm actually looking for my girlfriend. She was supposed to meet me here...or was it the snack bar?" He said.

Daphne was a little dejected. But of course, the cute boy was taken; and while she could attempt to flirt more, the girl was never a boyfriend stealer. She just chalked up another loss, both for her and Danny. The girl still had pride in her looks.

"You need some help?" Daphne asked.

And a good heart.

"Thanks," Danny replied, grateful for the help.

It was then Danny heard a familiar voice.

"Danny!?"

The ghost boy stopped as he turned around as saw a familiar best friend with dark skin and glass, holding hands with a girl with auburn hair and square glasses.

"Tucker!?"

"Do you two know each other?" Daphne asked.

The two boys were shocked to see each other here. They knew the other to be staying out of town for spring break, but what were the chances of them running into each other then? And they weren't the only ones shocked as the other members of the Mystery Gang saw the two and walked over.

"What are you doing here? I thought you talked about plans with your girlfriend about going...out of...town?" Danny asked, slowly speaking the last part as gears turned in his head.

"Velma and her friends told me they were coming here. Apparently, Daphne's uncle owns the place," Tucker explained.

Daphne smiled as Danny glanced at her. Surprised at the story, he was nonetheless grateful his friend was here. He wondered if Sam would make an appearance but realized a sunny place was never where she'd be. Unless she was forced to. Was she?

No. Sam was back at Amity Park.

"So, you never asked where the other was going?" Velma asked.

"We kinda minded our own business," Tucker explained.

"Yeah...we wanted to give ourselves some space," Danny said sheepishly.

The other members of Mystery Inc. walked by as they noticed Tucker with Velma and Daphne talking to Danny. Seeing the enjoyment, the rest decided to join.

"Hey guys," Tucker said, waving them over and pointing to the ghost boy. "This is my friend, Danny. The one I've been telling you about."

Shaggy and Scooby paused for a moment. They remembered Tucker's words and Phanty's presence. It made sense the boy would be here.

"So, like, this is Danny, huh?" Shaggy said as he and scooby walked over. "Like nice to meet you." He held out his hand, which Danny took after a moment.

"Likewise," He said in a friendly way.

"I'm Shaggy, and this is Scooby-doo," Shaggy added as Scooby waved.

"Rello," the dog said, giving Danny a shock.

"Did that dog just talk?" Danny asked, but he waved off his surprise. Being a ghost boy whose daily life included fighting other ghosts did help. Not to mention the girls he saw over the summer, including his ghostly girlfriend.

The ghost boy petted the Great Dane as the last member, Fred's leader and trap master, came over and greeted himself.

"I'm Fred, by the way," Fred introduced himself. He firmly shook the ghost boy's hand, noticing a grip. The trap master wondered if the boy had built his own series of traps, but that was for another conversation.

"It's nice to meet you all! I hope we can get along," Danny said.

"Ha ha ha! Like, with all this fun in the sun, how couldn't we? Ha ha ha!" Shaggy gleefully said. Scooby joined in for a laugh as Tucker and Velma shared a snicker.

Phantasma, who had come down the earth, saw this and kept quiet as she went invisible. Leaning in a bit, the banshee saw how the group was getting along. She thought about joining but opted for another time. They still had a few days left, giving ample time for group fun.

Plus, she really wanted to catch up with Danny first.

After a few minutes, Danny and Tucker went their ways as the Mystery Gang did the same. Shaggy and Scooby went back to the buffet, apparently working up an appetite, somehow. Daphne went to the pool as Fred, Tucker, and Velma followed. Phanty turned visible as she appeared besides Danny, wrapping an arm around the boy. The two smiled happily, but Danny wondered why Phanty had a wider one.

The day went by quickly as everyone enjoyed themselves. Tonight had been fun with a tiki-style dinner event, complete with dancing tiki idols and music. There were some inconsistencies here and there, but no one cared as they danced the night away. Danny even spotted Lydia, with no sign of her ghostly friend. She seemed to be enjoying herself. He would've introduced himself properly, but a jealous glance from Phanty had him getting drinks for the two. With the banshee keeping an eye on him.

Danny chuckled a bit as he knew he'd have to set things straight. He was just glad Phanty was nowhere near the level of jealousy her father displayed if Lady Christine's old stories are even half true.

Danny went to bed, hoping the next day wouldn't be as crazy. He didn't need a working vacation, but it seemed things would not be as calm as he thought.

I would like to apologize for the almost seven month wait for the update. I have been distracted with my other works, but I'll have the next chapter up by next week. And to make up for such a gap, I'll be working on this for a while in conjunction with my other works. I hope you all enjoyed this, and I thank all of you for your patience.

Next chapter, we get to see how Sam is doing before Tucker and Velma get a little adventure of their own in the following chapter. With a special guest appearance. Then a special chapter on Dani.

And it's not me! Deadpool!

"Or the Warner Brothers!"

"Nor the Warner Sister too!"

Special Thanks! for Flower Princess11 for all her help!
