Tara's kids are now getting ready for their last day of school. They had a great school year as a matter of fact. They have worked a lot of their assignments of course. They are about to wait for their final bell to ring by the way. They can't wait to leave school in a few minutes. Let's hope that Tara's kids will be waiting for the final bell to ring.

"I can't believe that this is our last day of school." said her son.

"It sure is." said her daughter. "In fact, we had a good school year."

"We have been working a lot of our assignments today." said her son.

"I know." said her daughter. "We got a good grade on most of our assignments."

"Let's wait for the bell to ring." said her son.

"Okay then." said her daughter.

Later, the final bell rang, and all the students leaving the classroom.

"Have a great summer." said the teacher.

"We sure will, ma'am." said her son. "See you later."

All the students are now leaving the school building.

"Another school year for us is now over." said her daughter.

"I hope we have a great summer this year." said her son.

"I hope so too." said her daughter. "We are almost home."

"We should be here soon." said her son.

Tara's kids walked all the way home and went inside.

"We are home, mom." said her daughter.

"Welcome home, you two." said Tara. "How was your day at school?"

"It was good." said her son.

"That is good." said Tara. "There will be no more school day until summer ends."

"Okay, mom." said her daughter. "We will get to spend time with you."

"Only if I'm not hanging out with my friends." said Tara.

"They are busy right now." said her son.

"Yes, they are." said Tara. "I will only hang out when I have time."

"I am going to miss school." said her daughter.

"Same here." said her son.

Tara's kids will be staying home throughout the summer as they finished their school year. See what happens in the next chapter of this long story.
