Tara's kids are now getting ready to go back to school. They had a good summer break as a matter of fact. They have already gone to a baseball game of course. They haven't gone to school since May. They are about to see some teachers and some students. Let's hope that Tara's kids will be having a great first day of school.

"Have a great day at school." said Tara.

"We sure will, mom." said her daughter. "See you later."

Her mom left school and went to work.

"Hi, guys." said her son.

"Hi, you two." said one of their friends. "We haven't seen you in a long time."

"We sure haven't." said her daughter. "In fact, we had a good summer."

"What did you do during the summer?" One of their friends asked.

"We went to a baseball game." said her son.

"That sounds like fun." said one of their friends. "We better get to class now."

"Okay." said her daughter. "We don't want to be late for class."

Tara's kids went to class and took their seats.

"Here we are." said her son. "Just in time for class."

"Here comes our teacher." said her daughter.

"Good morning, class." said the teacher. "Did you have a good summer?"

"We sure did, ma'am." said one of her students.

"That is good." said the teacher. "I am glad that you kids came back to school."

"Thanks, ma'am." said one of her students.

"No problem." said the teacher. "Today, we are going to have a good school year."

"Good to be back in school." said her son.

"I know." said her daughter. "We are going to have a great time today."

"I hope so too." said her son. "We are going to do a lot of work this school year."

"I am aware of that." said her daughter. "We have a test to study later."

"How are you two doing?" The teacher asked.

"We are doing good, ma'am." said her son. "We been to a baseball game last week."
