Chapter 2 Iron man
Its been a month since Sean arrived on Earth and telling his story of what happened to his home known as Elysium. Since then he's recovered and joined the organization known as SHIELD wanting to prepare incase the enemy that attacked his world attacked Earth.
Since then Sean and Janet had gotten close romantically since she was attracted to his desire to fight for the greater good and him to her kind compassion and fighting spirit. Of course though Janet's Ex Hank Pym had gotten to know him and didn't like him since he felt he was just violent. So that created problems between the two on multiple occasions.
"I will never understand why you were ever attracted to someone like him." Sean said to Janet who sighed.
"Hank can be...Difficult at times but he has a good heart. I just wish he wasn't so optimistic. Sure I want a better world but not everyone can just change so suddenly." Janet said as they sat at her penthouse. "By the way whats with the red Mark on your body?" Janet asked seeing a line that went on his body to his left eye. (Mark of Kratos)
"Its a symbol of the Honor guard. The best of the best. I trained hard wanting to receive this mark and I did. Of course that idiot ruined everything after he became ruler. God I knew his ideals would screw us over." Sean said.
"Were you two close?" Janet asked.
"Yeah. I argued with him saying his ideas were peaceful but history was violent. And you have to be realistic in life no matter what." Sean said before he got an alert from Maria. "Hello Maria." Sean said making her smirk.
"As much as I enjoy our chats we need you here now." Maria said.
"Right. Be right there." Sean said ending the call.
"Hmph. If I didn't know any better I'd say you make her more...Actually less strict." Janet said teasing making him grin.
"Well...Too bad for her I'm already taken." Sean said leaving making her get a thoughtful look.
Later
"HYDRA? Why exactly does this group have the name of a Greek Monster?" Sean asked as he jumped from building to building to get to the UN to stop said group from attacking those inside.
"Cut off one head two more take its place." Fury said.
"Oh. Fitting I guess. Still I kinda find it insulting these guys are attacking senators instead of soldiers like cowards." Sean said.
"Senators hold a lot of power in this world. I don't know how things worked back home for you but things are very different here." Fury said.
"Understood I'm on it." Sean said before arriving at the scene only to see someone else was fighting HYDRA. Someone in some metal armor.
"Uh why send me as backup?" Sean asked.
"Backup?" Fury asked.
"Theres someone already here. In some metal armor." Sean said.
"Stark. Thats his Iron Man suit. I didn't send you there as backup. He wasn't even supposed to be there." Fury said.
"Well, Looks like he's done my job." Sean said seeing the Group down for the count only for three metal pods to land in front of Iron man revealing three large HYDRA robots. "Never mind." Sean said as they blasted him.
"Not good." Iron man said as they tried to attack him when two blades cut off the head of the leader making them look and saw Sean jump down with his blades in hand. "Who the heck are you?" Iron man asked.
"Your back up and the guy who saved your ass." Sean said before they attacked him again.
Above them one Hydra Agent got up and was about to fire but got knocked out by another.
"Not yet."
Sean slashed off the arms of one of the robots before it landed in front of Iron man.
"Hey wait this is my tech." Iron man said.
"Do I look like I care!" Sean yelled before stabbing the head making it explode before slashing off the head of last one just as the Carrier arrived.
"Sure now you show up." Iron man said.
Suddenly SHIELD agents in similar armor as Iron man dropped down.
"Commander sir!" The leader said saluting.
"I'm all right." Sean said inspecting the head.
"HEY! Thats my tech!" Iron man said ticked off.
"You're fucking point?" Sean asked before Iron man flew up to the carrier making him narrow his eyes.
Sean flew up to the carrier and headed inside to see Iron man arguing with Fury.
"The hells going on now?" Sean asked.
"Tony is doing what he does best. Getting on everyone's nerves." Maria said.
"You used my inventions to make war machines." Iron Man said.
"Its called being prepared for the worst case scenario." Sean said approaching him.
"I'm sorry who are you?" Iron man asked.
"He's our latest recruit. Sean Ashburn Kruger." Fury said.
"Like Nightmare on Elm Street?" Iron man joked.
"I don't even know what that is." Sean said.
"He's the last of his kind. Like Asgard he's from another world called Elysium. A world that represents our Greek Mythology." Fury said.
"Oh...Sorry to hear that. But the matter is he stole my tech and made weapons of it and then it leaked to Hydra." Iron man said.
"You don't know that. If this Hydra group is like Fury says that tech could have come from anywhere and could have been simply copied." Sean said.
"Ok fair point. But I'm taking my tech back." Iron man said.
"I don't think so. I'm not gonna let what happened to my world happen here because you believe in peaceful ideas." Sean said.
"Look kid. I'm sorry about what happened but you don't know what your getting into." Iron man said moving past him before Sean grabbed him and slammed him down hard making him groan in pain.
"Beat me and the Tech is yours. Fail and you back off." Sean said throwing him into the wall.
"I'd just back off if I were you." Maria said.
"Not a chance." Iron man said charging at him but Sean just punched him down before pulling out a chain and wrapped it around him. "WHA!" Iron man gasped before Sean started swinging him around the carrier before throwing him topside.
"Oh this is not gonna end well." Fury said.
Iron man yelled as he landed on the flight deck before Sean jumped up and slammed his foot on him making him cry out in pain.
"I knew someone who thought being peaceful would settle everything...His stupidity ruined my world." Sean said twisting his arm making him growl in pain before flying away.
"Or it could have just been bad timing." Iron man said blasting him but it did nothing.
"NO! Our enemies attacked the second our military was disbanded into nothing!" Sean yelled before using his chain to pull him down before punching him in the face hard. "And then he had the nerve to say we should continue to be peaceful despite the heavy loss of life...So I did what I had to...I killed him to bring back our military to put up a fight for the survival of our people." Sean said kicking him away making him grunt in pain. "And I'd do it again...For them." Sean said before looking down at the badly beaten Iron man.
"Thats enough." Fury said walking to them.
"The tech stays here. I will not let this world suffer the same fate as my world. I will not." Sean said walking away.
"This isn't over you know." Iron man said.
"For now it is. Try to understand it from his view...He doesn't want us to suffer the same fate." Fury said making him sigh before flying away.
"Gotta admit I almost thought Stark would win in the beginning." Maria said impressed by Sean's skills and strength.
"And now we know another piece of the puzzle. He killed the previous leader because he knew he didn't have a choice since he refused to fight back." Fury said.
"Yeah...But it had to be someone close." Maria said.
Later
"That Tony Stark is an asshat." Sean said making Janet snicker.
"Thats one way to put him. After his near death experience he changed drastically. Viewed all weapons as a problem." Janet said.
"Its the person holding the weapon thats the problem not the other way around. Their just tools and like all tools they need someone to wield them." Sean said.
"True. Still give him time and you'll eventually get along with him." Janet said before seeing the look on his face. "What is it?" Janet asked.
"Something about the attack is bugging me. It seemed...Easy...Too easy." Sean said before standing up.
"Where you going?" Janet asked.
"Going to see those prisoners...Wanna come?" Sean asked making her grin before morphing into her costume.
"You know me so well in a short time." Wasp said.
Later
Arriving at the prison known as the Vault Sean and Wasp arrived in the scanning room.
"It's quiet...Too quiet." Sean said opening the door and saw several SHIELD agents knocked out making him growl before rushing to the elevator.
"I got a bad feeling about this." Wasp said before they arrived on the bottom floor seeing one known as the Grim Reaper with Von Strucker.
"Well...I wasn't expecting to see you again." The Reaper said charging at him with his blade only to get caught in his hand with no difficulty making him gasp in shock before Sean tore it right off making him groan in pain and got blasted by Wasp.
"STOP!" Strucker said holding Maria who struggled.
"Don't let him get out!" Maria said before Sean was engulfed in lightning.
"What?" Strucker asked in shock before crying out in pain as he was electrocuted before Sean dashed at him and punched him in the face knocking him out before grabbing Maria.
"You ok?" Sean asked.
"Yeah...How did you know?" Maria asked.
"I wasn't accepted into the Honor Guard just because of my skills in battle. I also thought things through when they seemed...Odd." Sean said making her smile.
Reaper and Strucker were back in cells.
"You need a bigger prison cause this isn't gonna be enough." Sean said.
"You don't seriously think this is our only prison do you?" Fury asked amused.
"You got another like it?" Sean asked.
"We have four prisons. The Vault, The Cube, The Raft and the Big house. A majority of prisoners are there in each one under heavy security." Fury said.
"Hmph! At least your prepared." Sean said before they walked away.
Authors Note: DAMN! I'm sorry for the long wait but I've been so busy with work and my other stories. Since this Virus has me out of work for a while I can work on my stories whenever I want now.
