I'm back! And it's about damn time! I'm hoping to update all my stories more regularly from now as long as I keep myself focused haha! But I hope you enjoy this new chapter!

When Isaac promised that he was going to be there with Faith for every step of the pregnancy, he meant it, even through the good, bad, and ugly. Well, ugly was about to happen at any minute now because today was the day they were going to tell Drew that Isaac had impregnated his little girl. Obviously he was nervous as hell. Throughout the time he had known the man, he respected Drew a great deal. He had always been nothing but kind to Isaac for as long as he had been friends with Faith, always allowing him to stay over whenever he needed to be away from his own dad or inviting him to take trips with them. Drew was the kind of dad Isaac always dreamed of having, even envying Faith for it in a way.

Now he was about to break that man's trust as he tells him he deflowered his only child. Chills ran throughout his body just thinking about it in that context.

If you thought Isaac was nervous, Faith wasn't much better off either. She was scarily close to losing her shit as she paced back and forth in front of Isaac in her bedroom like a chicken with its head cut off. No amount of Prozac could get this girl to stand still despite how many times Isaac told her that there was no need to be afraid. Faith was too far gone in her head to even entertain her best friend by believing him.

"Will you relax?" Isaac asked her for what felt like the millionth time within the past half hour, "Everything's going to be fine. But you pacing is making me feel anxious."

"Oh, I'm sorry," Faith quipped, feet moving even faster all around her room, "Are you the one who has to tell their dad that your best friend got you pregnant and that he's going to be a grandpa? No, I didn't think so!"

"Maybe he'll be okay with it," Isaac offered.

Now Faith had to snort at that. "Okay with it?! In what fucked up world do you think my dad would be okay with this?"

"I'm just saying-"

"Oh, God, what if he kicks me out?" Faith continued, "I'm gonna have to raise my baby on the streets."

"He's not going to kick you out," Isaac promised, rolling his eyes at the girl's dramatics.

"And how do you know that?"

"I know your dad. He's gotta be one of the most understanding people I've known and I know he wouldn't disown you for anything. Any child would be lucky to have a dad like him, trust me."

Isaac didn't flat out need to say it, but Faith knew the boy better than he knew himself. She knew that he was heavily implying that he had wished he had a father like Drew growing up. The knowledge of everything that Isaac had to endure growing up had knocked Faith down a few pegs. Until an idea struck her like lightning, that is.

She pointed to her friend. "You should tell him. You know he loves you, Isaac. Like you're his son. And if you tell him, maybe he won't be as mad and won't wanna kill the both of us and-"

"Hey, hey, Faith." Isaac got up from the bed and placed his hands on the girl's shoulders, finally halting her from having an anxiety attack. "Breathe. It's going to be okay. But I can't be the one to tell him. He's your dad and no matter what, he loves you more than anything and he's going to have your back through this. So you have to do this. And I'll be right there next to you when you tell him. Okay?"

There was no time to answer. Right before Faith could even open her mouth, they heard Drew enter the house from downstairs.

"Kiddo? I'm home!"

"Shit, I'm kiddo!" Faith whined childishly.

"Okay, okay," Isaac hushed, "Take a couple of deep breaths with me."

Just like they used to back then whenever either one of them had panic attacks, they took a deep breath in for five seconds and then released it for another five. They repeated this a few more times until Isaac heard Faith's heartbeat steady itself back to a regular pace. It worked like a charm every single time. And what Faith didn't realize was how much this was helping Isaac get himself in check as well. He needed her comfort just as much she needed his. Maybe even a little more.

Isaac had Faith look up into his eyes afterwards, blue meeting blue. "You can do this. We can do this."

And what other choice was there than to trust the boy Faith admired for the past two years? None. So she let out a slightly more confident sigh and nodded.

"Okay. Let's do it, then."

With a squeeze of Isaac's hands on her shoulders in a final attempt to keep her calm, Faith led him out of the room and downstairs. Her dad was instantly found in their kitchen, grabbing himself a beer to celebrate the end of a long yet satisfying work week.

Good. Get that buzz going, Drew. If Faith was lucky enough, maybe the alcohol running through Drew's veins will soften the blow coming his way.

His eyes fell onto the two teenagers as he shut the refrigerator and he smiled like the everything was all dandy. "Oh, hey, kids! You staying over tonight, Isaac? I was planning on ordering pizza for dinner."

"Sure, but I'm not sure you'll want me over again after this," Isaac said more to himself. But Faith heard and smacked his arm at his choice of words.

"What was that?" Drew questioned.

"Nothing!" Faith chirped, sending a glare to her best friend who just rolled his eyes, "Nothing at all. So, Dad, how was work?"

"Dusty. Sweaty. Tiring." That upbeat smile never left Drew's face. "Just another day on site." He slid his phone out of his pocket. "Should I do half cheese, half pepperoni? And how about some wings or garlic knots? Or both! It's Friday, after all!"

Neither of the teens answered. When Faith looked up at Isaac for any hints on what to do, he just cocked his head towards Drew. There was no sense in prolonging this suspense. It was better to just get this shit over and done with. Faith would rather be dead sooner than later anyway.

So she gently took Drew's phone away before he could dial up the pizza place. "Actually, Dad, I need to talk to you about something really quick. It's… it's pretty important."

"Oh." Drew glanced apprehensively at Faith and Isaac, the latter appearing to be just as antsy as her. "Okay."

Next thing they knew, the three of them had transferred from the kitchen to the living room. Drew was sat on the couch with Isaac and Faith standing in front of him. But the latter couldn't remain still and once again settled for pacing. The two males watched as Faith tried to prepare herself for the worst, Drew in confusion while Isaac was starting to get a little anxious himself. He tried to remain cool for his friend's sake, however. She really needed it. Especially when he could already smell the beads of sweat seeping from Faith's pores.

The girl stopped moving, chuckling nervously and clapped her hands together. "So how about that season finale of The Bachelor? Crazy, right? I'm telling you, if you had asked me who he was going to pick three weeks ago, I would've told you the blonde one, hands down. But when he picked the other blonde one?" Faith made an explosion sound and gestured as if her mind was being blown. "Insanity! And not at all predictable!"

"Uh…" One of Drew's eyebrows shot up in confusion as his daughter's rambling. "What?"

"You know, that show really does not age well as time goes on," Faith continued, "Like, it's supposed to be a reality show, for crying out loud! Why not put some regular people instead of these cookie cutter men and women who they really expect you to believe that they have a hard time finding a husband or wife? We're in the 2010's, people! Show me the average Joes!"

Drew looked behind Faith at Isaac, who was pinching the bridge of his nose and shaking his head in embarrassment. "Please tell me you know what the hell she's talking about."

"Faith, you're stalling," was all that Isaac said to her.

"I'm sorry, I'm nervous!" Faith hissed back, "And you know I don't know when to shut up when I'm nervous!"

"Will one of you just tell me what's going on?" Drew begged, "Are either of you in any sort of trouble?"

"No," Faith said. Then she grimaced. "I mean, kinda. But not in the way that you might think." Her father's stare remained stoic, urging her to continue. Letting out a sigh, Faith smacked her hand on her palm, a tick of hers she developed when her anxiety kicked in. "Okay. Um, do you remember a couple weeks ago when you were telling me about the scandals that went on when you were in high school like the athlete love triangles and girls getting knocked up? Well… I'm technically now a scandal."

"What are you saying, Faith?" Drew asked.

Here came the hard part, and Faith wasn't sure if she could do it. The inside of her stomach was turning and she was so worried that she was going to puke all over the carpet. Faith turned around to look at Isaac, her eyes resembling a lost child, scared and not knowing what to do. But one look at his face was all the reassurance she needed that she wasn't alone in this. Isaac had her back through thick and thin.

"It's okay, Faith," he promised her softly.

Nodding, she looked back at her dad who was waiting patiently with an ounce of suspicion. She swallowed down the lump lodged in the back of her throat and remained eye contact with Drew.

"Dad, I'm pregnant."

There were numerous types of reactions Faith expected Drew to have once she broke the shocking news. He could have cried that his baby was going to have a baby. He could have yelled at both her and Isaac about how stupid they were to do something so irresponsible. And the thought of Drew punching Isaac in the face wasn't too far-fetched either.

While there were many options to choose from after he remained silent for a long-ass ten seconds, the last thing Faith expected her dad to do was laugh.

Yes, laugh. And it was a deep, full-on laugh instead of a measly chuckle. Drew rubbed his eyes as he cackled like he was watching his favorite comedy, catching both Faith and Isaac completely off-guard. Faith looked back at Isaac as if he had the answer as to what the hell Drew found so funny. Isaac was just as confused as his best friend was and he shrugged his shoulders. After a while, Drew's off-putting laughter finally settled down.

"Ah, that's a good one, kiddo!" he sighed gleefully, "You really had me going there for a second. Like you really expected me to believe that you're pregnant." Then Drew realized that he was the only one who was laughing when he saw that his daughter and Isaac appeared to be as nervous as could be. That smile dropped into a frown in an instant. "Faith, are you really pregnant?"

Said girl nodded, head lowered a bit in shame. "Yes, I am. And the baby's Isaac's."

"It's true," Isaac nodded when Drew laid eyes on him, "You're gonna be a grandfather."

Faith could have facepalmed at his choice of words. And it seemed like those words were what sealed the deal for Drew. He remained silent for a few more moments before pushing himself up off the couch.

"I forgot my beer in the kitchen," he mumbled almost robotically. Then he disappeared from the living room.

As soon as he was gone, Faith shot Isaac a death look. "Did you have to mention the fact that he's gonna be a grandpa?!"

"What else did you want me to say that could've made it better?" Isaac asked, "I thought the idea of having a grandkid would've softened the situation!"

Refusing to argue with him any longer, Faith shook her head and headed to kitchen. Drew was standing at the island, one hand pressed firmly on the granite counter while the other brought the bottle of beer to his lips. He took a long drink that had Faith cringing. "Dad, can you please just say something?"

"What would you like me to say, Faith?" Drew asked bitterly, "I'm not going to praise you for being pregnant at sixteen years old. I've done everything I could to make sure that this didn't happen by allowing you to go on birth control and giving you the talk, which believe me, was very awkward for the both of us. And yet you still get pregnant? How could you both be so irresponsible?"

And there was the 'irresponsible' line.

"Honestly, I really did think I was being responsible," Faith said calmly, "I didn't know that after a certain amount of time, the pill would stop working."

"That's why they tell you take other precautions," Drew told her. He snapped his head toward Isaac, who was now leaning against the doorframe. "And you. I expected you to know better. Just what the hell were you thinking?"

For the first time during this, Isaac didn't seem as confident as he once was. "Uh… apparently nothing because I'm stupid?"

"Correct answer. So how exactly did this happen? Are you two dating or…"

"Oh, no," Isaac answered, twisting the knife in Faith's heart, "No, we're not dating. I guess you could say it was, well, a goodbye… thing… you know, before I left for France."

Drew's jaw clenched. "Uh huh. So you just had unprotected sex with my daughter and left her with a baby inside as a parting gift?"

"Again, I'm stupid," the beta said after stumbling over his words.

"Look, Dad, obviously this wasn't planned," Faith cut in, "and we both know it was a mistake. But what's done is done. So I think it's best if we just move forward instead of harping on the past. At least for my sake because my stomach is not having it right now and I can just feel the heartburn throughout my entire body."

Obviously Drew was still pissed about it all, as he rightfully should be. But the fear was still evident in Faith. Both her and Isaac. They were just two teenagers who were clueless about anything baby related. At the end of the day, Faith was Drew's daughter. And despite her and her best friend's idiocies, Drew still loved Faith. She needed her dad now more than ever. So he had to shove down whatever anger was in him and just help them the best he could.

He rubbed his forehead. "Okay. Now, what exactly is your plan here? Are you thinking about abortion or adoption or what?"

Isaac and Faith exchanged hesitant glances. "Actually, we wanna keep it."

"Before you start going crazy," Faith rushed before Drew could get amped up again, "Isaac and I already had a long talk about this. We know it's an insane idea, but we think we can make it work. I can pick up extra shifts at the diner so I can save up for the baby. And maybe we can even turn the guest room into a nursery."

"Slow down there, kiddo," Drew said, holding his hand up, "Let's just stop and think about this for a minute. You two are kids yourselves. Neither of you have any idea how hard it is to raise a baby, especially at such a young age. This isn't like raising a pet. There are so many things you both have to consider like school, doctor appointments-"

"If it's any consolation," Isaac politely interrupted, "I talked to my friend Scott's mom. She's a nurse over at Beacon Hills Memorial Hospital. She said she's willing to help with finding good doctors and to discuss with you what would be best for Faith and the baby as far as where to deliver and how to deal with the pregnancy." He rubbed the back of his neck. "I'm also thinking about looking for a job, too."

"You are?" Faith asked with a quirked up eyebrow, this information being news to her.

The boy she loved nodded. "Yeah. The baby's just as much mine as it is yours… and I wanna provide and be there for him. Or her. I wanna be a good dad."

God, Faith's heart could have melted into a puddle with how fucking perfect Isaac was.

And Drew didn't miss the awestruck daze in his daughter's eyes. One of his fears about this whole pregnancy thing was that Faith was only going through with it because of Isaac. If this was some way to make sure that he would stay in Beacon Hills for good or get him to be with Faith, well, that was a whole other ordeal that didn't necessarily settle well for Drew. This was where the parental instincts kicked into hyperdrive and he just wanted to shield his daughter from any heartbreak. Even though it was already proven that he couldn't protect Faith from everything.

Then again, this was Isaac Lahey they were talking about. Drew may not know whether Isaac had feelings for Faith like she did for him, but he had witnessed their friendship over the past couple of years to know that the boy really did care for her. He also knew that not many other teenage boys would promise to stick around if they got a girl pregnant. Isaac was a good kid, even with his troubled past. One that Drew respected as if he were his own kid. And if Faith trusted Isaac, then the older McGregor needed to do the same. Drew needed to be a good parent and be there for Faith despite this very shitty situation.

"Are you sure this is what you want, kiddo?"

"Yes," Faith answered softly, "And I am so sorry that I've disappointed you in any way, Dad. I… I'm just really scared and want nothing more than your support."

Her eyes were starting to get watery, so Drew beckoned her over so he could wrap her up in a bear hug. "Am I thrilled about this? Not particularly. But no matter what, I'll always be there to support you and do anything I can to help you. I love you, Faith, okay? Nothing will change that."

"I love you, too, Dad."

Suddenly Isaac felt like he was invading a private moment between father and daughter. A part of him thought he should leave, but then decided against it when he started to long for a moment like this with his own kid. He just hoped that he could be the kind of dad that his kid (or kids, depending on how many more he decided to have in the far future) could come to if they were in any sort of predicament. Preferably not one like this, however.

In that moment, he vowed to never become like his own father. Isaac was going to be ten times the man Dave Lahey ever was.

Faith pulled out of the hug and dabbed underneath her eyes. "Damn. Pregnancy hormones really get you. So, can we order that pizza now? And maybe get two because I'm probably gonna eat an entire box by myself."

"Fine, but you're getting salad instead of wings," Drew told her as he went to dial the pizza place, "If you're going to be eating for two, then you need to start adding more healthy stuff to your diet. Starting with no spicy foods and more greens."

A frown fell upon Faith's face as she glowered down at her stomach. "Why must you suck the joy out my life?"

During the chaos of becoming a teenage father, Isaac had almost forgotten that he was a werewolf and was involved in a more chaotic world that was the supernatural. So when Scott asked him to accompany him, Stiles, and Derek to the animal clinic to discuss what to do about the Liam kid, Isaac was hesitant to say yes and ended up going with them anyway. Maybe it would provide a distraction from everything happening with Faith. Highly unlikely, but a guy can only hope.

Turns out that in panicked attempt to save Liam's life, Scott had bitten him, creating his first beta. A horrible move if you had to ask Isaac, but what can you do? As he should, Liam refused to believe that he was turning into a werewolf and wanted nothing to do with Scott. Cut to now with Scott, Stiles, Isaac, Derek, and Deaton standing around the operating table in the veterinarian's office as they listened to the two morons about what they have done so far about how to get Liam to listen to them.

"You tied him up and held him hostage?" Derek asked, not at all surprised by Scott and Stiles's antics but still annoyed, "Did you two actually think that was going to work?"

"And it wasn't even my plan this time," Stiles said with a chuckle, "Shocking, isn't it?"

"Very," Isaac said sarcastically, earning a glare from the human.

Scott sighed. "I know that it wasn't my finest hour. But I didn't know what else to do, I had to act fast."

"Have you tried a more gentler approach with Liam?" Deaton asked.

"Yeah, but that didn't exactly work out either," Scott admitted. His cheeks started to show a red hue in embarrassment.

"You should've seen it," Stiles said, "He even gave the whole 'we're brothers now' speech. It was so awkward. Like that time he agreed to go bowling for a double date."

Even more embarrassed, Scott covered his face with his hands. "Did you really have to bring that up?"

"Sorry, buddy."

Isaac had to let out a snort. "You two are a couple of tools."

"Says the one who, again, is wearing a scarf like he's still in Paris," Stiles mocked with a French accent.

"Alright, shut it," Derek scolded before anyone else could get off topic, "Scott, you can't take no for an answer, especially being a true alpha. You have to get through to this kid Liam and get through to him quickly."

"And you don't exactly much time left either," Deaton pointed out, "The next full moon is just a week away. You have until then to get Liam to understand that this is serious. If he really does have EPD, then he could be unpredictable when he shifts. He cannot be alone until he learns to control it. Only you can help him, Scott."

"Okay, well, we gotta figure out another way to get him alone," Scott said. Then he suddenly perked up. "Wait, how about Lydia's boathouse? We're taking Malia there so we can chain her up on the next full moon. If we can get Liam to agree to go, too, get him to see what happens, then maybe we can finally get him to trust us."

Deaton nodded. "That could work. Now all you have to do is-"

Loud ringing coming from Isaac's back pocket interrupted the veterinarian and caused everyone to look his way. The beta shot a quick apology and pulled out his phone. Faith's name and her smiling face lit up Isaac's screen and he just couldn't ignore it.

"I have to take this really quick," he told the other gentlemen before stepping out of the office and into the lobby. He answered the call and held his phone up to his ear. "Hey, how are you doing? Is everything alright with you and the baby?"

"Huh?" Faith questioned, "Yeah. Yeah, everything's fine. In fact, I just made my first appointment with a doctor at the women's health center for Wednesday to see how far along I am, how to take care of myself while pregnant, what I can and can't eat. You know, the normal fun teenage stuff."

"Ain't that the truth," Isaac chuckled, "But that's great! Are you nervous at all?"

"A bit," Faith admitted, "but my dad said he would leave work early on Wednesday to go with me. And I was wondering, you know, if you want-"

"You want me to go with you?"

The other end was silent for a moment. "It's totally fine if you don't want to. I'm sure you have better things to do that day."

"No, I wanna go," Isaac assured Faith, "I told you I wanted to be there through every step of this. That includes all the doctors appointment. Remember?"

"Just wanted to make sure that offer was still on the table," Faith said quietly.

"It is, don't worry."

"Cool." Isaac could practically hear his best friend smiling on the other side of the phone, causing him to break out a smile as well. "Okay, well, I'll let you get back to… whatever it is that you're doing. I'll talk to you later."

"Sounds good. Bye, Faith."

"Bye," the girl responded before hanging up.

As Isaac put his phone away, he walked back into the office where all the other males were waiting for him. Two of them appeared more patient than the others. It wasn't hard to figure out who those were.

Derek was the first to speak up. "I thought we all agreed to wait on making personal phone calls."

"Sorry," Isaac apologized, not so sincerely, "It was important. I had to answer."

"And what exactly could be more important than planning out how to deal with a new and ignorant beta?" Derek asked.

"How about baby mama drama?" Stiles snorted. Quick to react, Isaac picked up one of the tools set on the operating table and threw it at Stiles's head, hitting him dead on the forehead. "Ow!"

"What is that supposed to mean?"

Of course Scott cut in before Isaac could even get a damn word out. "There's a girl at our school that Isaac got pregnant right before he left for France. So now they're gonna be coparents."

God, Isaac could kill Scott and Stiles. They really had to go blab on about his business. Maybe he should have thought twice about telling them anything in the first place.

As expected, Derek was shaking his head like he was a disappointed father, almost like Drew did the other day. "Seriously? Did they stop teaching you idiots about using condoms in school?"

"I made a mistake, I get it," Isaac said, "But all I can do now is just accept it and step up to help my friend and our baby. That's not so bad, right? Compared to literally everything else I've dealt with."

Then Derek and Deaton got really quiet as they exchanged knowing and even concerned looks. At first Isaac thought it was because he was going to have a baby at seventeen years old. But there was something in their eyes that there was more on their minds. If there was one thing Isaac learned over the year of being a werewolf, there was always something that just made things more complicated.

Apparently he wasn't the only one to notice.

"Why are you two looking at each other like you can read each other's minds?" Stiles asked.

"Isaac, your friend," Deaton spoke up, "does she know about… you?"

The beta's stomach flipped as he slowly shook his head. "No. I haven't found the right time to tell her. Even more so now that she has being pregnant on her plate."

"Well, I'm afraid she's going to have to know sooner than you planned," Deaton told him regretfully, "Call her back and tell her to get over here as soon as she can."

"Why?" Scott asked, a question that was also on Isaac's mind, "Why does she need to know about what Isaac is? Don't you think it might be best if she doesn't risk finding out if she's pregnant? It could be dangerous for both her and the kid if they get involved."

"Unfortunately, Scott… they might already be involved."

Waiting for Faith to arrive to the animal clinic felt like an eternity. Isaac did end up calling her to stop by, telling her that they needed to talk. Rightfully so, Faith had questions, none of which Isaac could answer over the phone. Mostly because he wasn't one hundred percent sure why Deaton was so adamant on her even coming over. The one thing he did know was that he finally had to come clean to Faith that he was a werewolf.

This really couldn't have come at a worse time. Isaac wasn't stupid. He knew he had to tell Faith the truth at some point now that they were friends again. Not like this though. It was supposed to be on his terms. But if what what Deaton said was true about Faith and their baby already being involved in the supernatural, then Isaac had to tell her and tell her now. Just what the hell did Deaton mean by that anyway?

Seeing Faith's truck pull into the parking lot amplified the panic even more, but Isaac did his best to keep a brave face when he sensed his best friend's own nerves seeping in. He pushed himself away from the side of the building he was leaning against and strode over to Faith as she got out of her truck. She was already out of the clothes she wore to school earlier that day and had changed into sweats, which was probably more comfortable for her in her condition anyway. The soon-to-be parents met halfway in the parking lot.

"I gotta say, going to an animal clinic wasn't exactly how I expected to spend the rest of my Monday," Faith said, looking all around her, "Especially considering the fact that I don't even have a pet."

"Yeah, sorry about that," Isaac apologized, "but I really do appreciate you coming over here."

"So why exactly am I here? You sounded pretty vague over the phone."

Hands starting to sweat, Isaac ran his hand through his hair, pushing the curls back slightly. "All I can say right now is that… something happened last year. Something that is kinda the reason why we stopped talking. And it's about time that I told you about it."

"Okay…" Faith didn't seem too convinced. "Now I'm starting to get nervous."

"Believe me, if anyone should be nervous, it's me," Isaac scoffed. His expression became more serious when he sensed how weary his best friend was. Hoping to calm her, he took her hand in his. All this did was make her heart beat even more erratically. "Do you trust me, Faith?"

She looked down at their joined hands. As much as she needed to get a grip on this stupid crush, Faith just couldn't help but take note on how right her small hand fit in Isaac's larger one. It was calloused a little, but that didn't stop Faith from wanting to feel it roam every inch of her body just like how they have already done twice before. The memory of Isaac kissing down her neck as he caressed, teased, and fucked her had her feeling a little hot and she did her best to refrain from blushing.

But Faith had to remember why she was here. Apparently this was a serious matter so she pushed her sexual frustrations down (deep, deep down) and nodded like it was the easiest thing to do.

"Yes."

"Then come with me."

Isaac kept a grip on her hand as he led her inside the animal clinic. He guided Faith back to Deaton's office where everyone still was. Clearly Faith was not expecting the extra company, especially the two men that she wasn't familiar with, but she rolled her eyes right when she spotted Scott and Stiles.

"Oh, great," she scoffed, "What are Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dumber doing here?"

"Wait, which one of us is Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dumber?" Stiles wondered, gesturing to himself and Scott.

His best friend sighed. "Dude, I don't think that really matters right now."

Then Faith eyed Derek down. Her head tilted to the side. "Hey, aren't you the guy that got arrested last year for murdering his sister? Darren Hale?"

"It's Derek," said werewolf grunted, "and for the last time, I was found innocent. Stop laughing, Stiles." The boy immediately shut up and looked away.

"Good to know…"

"Faith, right? Isaac's friend?" the other man unknown to the girl asked. He stepped up to her and shook her hand. "I'm Dr. Alan Deaton. I run the animal clinic here. It's good to meet you."

"You, too… I think," Faith said unsurely, "So Isaac never told me why you wanted me to come over here. Can someone finally tell me what's going on? And fast because I have to pee like no one's business." Besides Stiles who scrunched up his nose in disgust, Faith's bluntness didn't seem to bother anyone else.

Scott looked over to Isaac. "Do you wanna tell her?"

Not really, but Isaac knew he should be the one to do it. He shoved his hands deep in his pockets to prevent from fidgeting. Here it goes. "Last year, right before my dad died… something happened to me. Something that changed my life forever." Faith raised her eyebrows, urging Isaac to go on. He sighed. "Around this time last year, Derek found me when I was working at the cemetery. He knew about my dad and he needed people to join his… pack." Isaac could've cringed at his best friend's look of suspicion. "And I agreed. So he bite me and… and he turned me into a werewolf."

Room eerily silent, the men were patiently anticipating what Faith's reaction would be to this ludicrous news. Her face was unreadable and it was making Isaac anxious. Then just a few moments later, Faith let out a snort.

"A werewolf," she deadpanned, "You've gotta be kidding me. Do you really expect me to believe that there are such things as werewolves?"

"Faith, I know it sounds crazy, and I thought it was, too," Isaac told her, "but I'm telling you the truth. I've been a werewolf for about a year now. Just ask everyone else."

"He's right," Scott chimed in, "I'm one, too. I know it's a lot to take but it's true."

Unbelievable. How dare these guys try to mess with an emotional pregnant girl by trying to convince her that werewolves were real. And now Faith was pissed.

"This is ridiculous. I can't believe you called me all the way over here just to waste my time with some practical joke. Well, I'm going home. Screw this and screw you all- holy fuck!"

When she turned around to storm out of the building, she was immediately met with the sight of Derek. But it was like a freaky, mutated version of him. This Derek had suddenly sprouted fuzzy sideburns, along with pointy ears and sharp teeth. His face was all scrunched up like some sort of wild animal. Faith was so horrified that if the operating table wasn't behind her to prop her up, she would have fallen flat on her ass onto the floor.

Did she just step into an episode of Supernatural or something? What the absolute fuck was happening?

"You…" Faith breathed out, crystal blue eyes wide and face paler than usual. She pointed with a shaky finger at Derek's shifted face. "You have fangs… and- and claws and… what the hell…" Derek smacked her hand away when she tried to poke at his teeth. "Hey!"

"You can look without touching," Derek said sternly.

"Alright! Jesus." Rubbing her hand, Faith finally looked to Isaac, who was still nervous as hell. "You can do that?" He nodded. "Can all of you do that?"

Isaac nodded once again. "Yes."

"Actually, not all of us," Stiles said, raising his hand up, "but I did get possessed by an evil Japanese spirit a few months ago, so there's that."

"Huh." Faith crossed her arms in front of her chest. "Okay, so werewolves are real. Great. I still don't understand what that has to do with me."

"Well, you see, Faith," Dr. Deaton started, reminding the girl that he was even there, "there are two ways one can turn into a werewolf- through a bite or from birth. Either way, the traits one possesses, like any person expecting like you are, can be hereditary and passed down to their offspring."

"Hereditary? So that means…"

It then got quiet as Faith suddenly put the pieces together. Dangerously quiet. All confusion within her was replaced with bubbling anger as she processed the new information. Too slowly for everyone else's liking, Faith turned to Isaac, who had just finally figured out what was going on as well. His skin color washed out and he was sweating profusely, afraid of what would happen next. Faith gritted her teeth.

"What. Did you. Do to me?"

His mind was drawing a blank. Every time he would open his mouth to speak, he would immediately shut it as he struggled to get any words out that would help. When he could finally speak, all that came out was two words.

"Aw, shit."

Rage was evident in Faith's eyes and now every man in the room grew afraid, mostly for Isaac. She squeezed her fists tight and screamed, "I'm gonna fucking kill you!"

Like a tiger, she pounced on Isaac and sent them both crashing to the floor. She landed on top of him and started hitting him at every open spot she could. Isaac tried to shield his face to dodge Faith's strikes since he wasn't about to fight back a pregnant girl, but god damn, she was a lot stronger than he thought! Where the hell did she get all this strength from?

"Faith, stop!" Isaac begged, "You're gonna- ow! You're gonna hurt the baby!"

"Not if I hurt you first, asshole!" Faith yelled as she continued to smack him.

It was Stiles who finally stepped in and pulled Faith off of and away from Isaac. Scott and Derek helped the beta up as he was still bewildered by everything.

"Don't touch me, Stilinski!" Faith ordered as she swatted him away from her. She turned back to Isaac, seeing red and breathing heavily. "You put a werewolf inside of me?! Are you trying to ruin my life?!"

"Why are you making it seem like I did this on purpose?" Isaac asked, "I didn't know that this was even a possibility!"

"Oh, don't give me that crap!" Faith snapped, "Maybe getting me pregnant was your agenda all along!"

Someone might as well have slapped Isaac silly. "What the hell are you talking about?!"

"I watch TV, Isaac. Shows that include werewolves. I know that you all have some weird mating thing going that's supposed to make you guys even more powerful and shit. And I'm sure having a baby amplifies it, you sicko."

"Now you're just being ridiculous," Isaac scoffed, "That's not even a real thing." His eyes widened again and he spun around towards Derek and Deaton. "That's not a real thing, is it?"

Derek rolled his eyes. "It can be, but only for born werewolves. Since you're bitten, it's highly unlikely that you can claim someone to be your mate. However, there is still a chance that Faith could be carrying a werewolf anyway."

"It's different for everyone," Deaton clarified, "If the parents are both born werewolves, the chances are very high. But if only one of you is bitten, like Isaac, and the other human, the chances are lower. About 60-40."

"Those are some pretty good odds if you ask me," Stiles said in an effort to be optimistic.

"You mother-"

This time it was Scott that caught Faith just before she could attack Stiles, who cowered in fear. "Okay, relax. But, Doc, is it safe for her to be pregnant with a werewolf is she's not one herself?"

"Usually, it is," Deaton answered, "A few human women from Derek's family had children that were werewolves and most of their pregnancies went smoothly. It can sometimes come with complications though."

Both Isaac and Faith's stomachs dropped. "What kind of complications?" Isaac asked.

"Like, 'it can kill me' type of complications?" Faith questioned.

"Death is rare but not impossible," Deaton said, "And if the baby is a werewolf then it can shorten the pregnancy by a couple months instead of the normal nine."

"It can also attract unwanted suitors," Derek added, "Werewolves can smell when a woman is pregnant or fertile so there could be guys wanting to claim you as their mate."

A mortified squeak came out of Faith, and Isaac wasn't too pleased with the idea of other guys, let alone werewolves, trying to seduce her either. Even more so when she's pregnant with his baby. The possessive side of Isaac was making itself known, confusing the boy as to why he was so against the idea with Faith being with someone else. Must be his inner wolf taking control.

Regardless, the other two werewolves in the room seemed to sense how uneasy Isaac was at the idea, so they figured it was time to step in. Scott was the one to speak up.

"We won't let that happen," he promised the soon-to-be parents, "We'll make sure that we keep a close eye on Faith at all times so no one can get to her."

"And I know that you'll have plenty of doctors appointments coming up," Deaton said, "but just until we find out for sure whether the baby is a werewolf or not, I think it would be best if you stop by here about once or twice a month so I can check on your progress. You know, just to make sure that the pregnancy is going smoothly and if there's anything out of the ordinary is occurring."

Isaac had his eyes on his best friend as everyone else talked. Meanwhile, not once did Faith react to what was being discussed. Her face read blank and stoic as she stared down at her shoes and tried to process everything that had been revealed to her within the past half an hour. This was a lot to take in, Isaac knew it. But Faith's silence worried him as he wondered what was going through her head.

"Faith? Are you okay?"

She didn't say anything right away. And when she did, she still couldn't look anyone in the eye. With her arms wrapped around her torso as if to shield herself, she began to back away. "I… I need some air." Then she turned around just to be met with Stiles blocking the doorway. "Move!" Stiles jumped out of her path as quickly as possible before Faith could shove him. She kept her head down as she walked out of the building.

Stiles shuddered. "God, she is so scary."

When he felt it was safe, Isaac stepped out of the animal clinic to see if Faith was still there or if she decided to leave. There she was, sitting on the back of her truck, the setting where all of this had started. Her head hadn't been lifted yet, but her eyes and hands were directed towards her stomach, which was still flat underneath her oversized sweatshirt. Those soft hands rubbed over her stomach where their baby resided and Isaac was curious to know if Faith even realized that she was doing it or if it was a subconscious act.

Did he completely ruin everything? What if now that Faith knew the truth of what lies in Beacon Hills, she was starting to reconsider her decision in keeping the baby? Isaac would understand if she was having second thoughts, but he just desperately hoped that this wouldn't change her mind. Not even just for his sake. Faith was finally accepting the idea of becoming a mother. She was even starting to become hopeful that everything would work out. In an odd way, Isaac believed this baby could be good for her. For the both of them. Their son or daughter just might be the light they both needed in their lonely lives. He just prayed that she could still see it despite this unsettling reality.

Faith didn't look up when Isaac walked over to the truck and sat down next to her. Neither of them knew what to say, but Isaac was thankful that Faith was human so she couldn't smell or hear just how scared he was.

"I'm sorry," Isaac finally said.

"For what?" Faith asked, "You hiding the fact that you're a werewolf or that you might have gotten me pregnant with a werewolf baby?"

"Both," Isaac sighed. The raven-haired girl only nodded. "I know I should've told you a long time ago. Everything just happened way too fast with being turned and my dad getting killed… I didn't want you to be a part of that. I guess that's why I tried to distance myself from you."

Arms still wrapped around herself, Faith nodded. "So you being a werewolf… is that how your dad died?"

"Not exactly. It's actually kinda more complicated than that."

"What about Allison?"

"Also complicated. There's a lot to catch you up on, apparently." Isaac watched as Faith continued to rub her belly, overwhelmed by it all. How he wished there was something he could do to ease her mind and make this all better. "If you don't want to continue with the pregnancy, I'll learn to deal with it. I don't blame you if this is all too much."

Finally, Faith finally met his eyes. In that moment she looked so vulnerable, taking Isaac back to when they first met a couple years ago. No tears were being shed this time, but it didn't take any sort of crying to decipher that there were many emotions running through her. And Isaac only had himself to blame for causing those emotions. Now Faith will for sure hate him forever.

To his surprise, she shook her head. "No. I still wanna go through with it."

"You're absolutely sure?" Isaac asked, "Because I don't want you to-"

"Isaac." Faith's stern voice stopped him from continuing to speak. "I want this baby. I want you to have this baby. And if the baby does turn out to be a werewolf, then we'll deal with it. Just like everything else. This won't make me love him or her any less." She took a deep breath that was a little shaky. These hormones sure were a pain in the ass. "I'm so fucking scared though…"

"Me too," Isaac admitted. He took one of her hands that was still splayed across her stomach and laced his fingers through hers. "But you're not alone in this. We're all going to help you. We won't let anything bad happen to you and the baby." He gave her fingers a gentle squeeze. "I won't let anything bad happen to you and our baby."

Nothing else was said, but a small smile did grace Faith's face. Without thinking twice, she rested her head on Isaac's broad shoulder, resulting in him resting his chin on top. They were still holding each other's hand as the pondered on what the next six to seven months will look like for them. Maybe for once in their lives, luck will finally be on their side and they would have nothing to worry about.

Then again, this was Beacon Hills. When was anything ever that easy?
