Tara's kids had a good school year. They are about to leave as a matter of fact. They have been working hard on their assignments of course. They got a good grade on most of their assignments by the way. They will be hearing the bell before they dismissed. Let's hope that Tara's kids will be leaving school for their summer break.
"It's been a good school year for us." said her son.
"It sure is." said her daughter. "In fact, we did a good job on our assignments."
"We also did a good job on our tests throughout the school year." said her son.
"We will not take a test without studying them." said her daughter.
"That is true, sis." said her son. "Here comes our report card."
They saw their teacher giving them a report card.
"We got a lot of A+ on our report card." said her daughter.
"We have never failed on our class." said her son.
"That is true." said her daughter. "Let's wait for the bell."
Later, the bell has rung, and the students are leaving the classroom.
"Have a great summer, students." said the teacher.
"We sure will, ma'am." said one of her students. "See you later."
The students are now leaving the school building.
"Another school year for us is now over." said her son.
"Me too." said her daughter. "We will go back to school in August."
"Yes, we will." said her son. "Are you ready to go home?"
"Yes, I am, brother." said her daughter.
"Let's go home then." said her son.
Tara's kids went home from school.
"We are home, mom." said her daughter.
"How was your day at school, you two?" Tara asked.
"It was good, mom." said her daughter.
"That is good." said Tara. "I heard that you got a good grade on your report card."
"Yes, we did, mom." said her daughter. "We are going to have a good summer."
"I hope so, kids." said Tara. "Why do you go to your room."
Tara's kids went to their room and rest for a bit. See what happens in the next chapter of this long story.
