=The Way of Invisibility Part 4=
After leaving the lair to search for both Raph and Louie and confront these invisible ninjas, the team had split into two groups. Mikey, Arcee and Casey had headed to the warehouse to get the Battle Shell before hitting to the New York's streets, while Leo, Donnie, Mary and Dom were riding with the Sewer Slider along the tunnels. Using Donnie's scanner and the Battle Shell's tracker that was locked on the signals in their missing family members' Shell cells, the turtles and Casey tried to figure it out where they brothers were and what tunnels they were using to get back home.
Leo was driving the Sewer Slider, with Mary sitting on the passenger's seat while Donnie and Dom were hanging on in the back, with Donie keeping an eye on the screen of his scanner, where the beeping blimps were still on.
After some time, the blimps on the screen started to get brighter and beep even more rapidly. A smile appeared on Donnie's face.
"Leo! The signals are getting stronger! We're starting to get closer! It also looks like that Raph and Louie are taking the shortcut to the drainage junction which should be just on the other side of this block, if my memory doesn't play tricks on me." Donnie informed to Leo.
Leo then turned to Dom.
"Domenico? Let Mikey, Arcee and Casey know that we found them." Leo requested.
Dom nodded to his brother and made contact with Mikey via the goggles' radio.
"Mikey? It's Dom. We found Raph and Louie, or at least figured out where they're going to take the shortcut." the turtle in white informed.
However, all he heard in the other end of the line was the loud rock music and someone patting his hands against something like the drum along the tune.
"What the shell? Mikey? Did you got distracted by the temptation to play the rock music again?" Dom asked in annoyance.
"Don't blame me, bro." Mikey defended through the radio, with clear irritation in his voice. "It was Casey who got distracted by the temptation to tamper with MY rock musics!"
"Knock it off, bonehead!" Arcee's voice said sharply to Casey in the radio, which was followed by the sound of SLAP! The turtle in pink had presumably slapped Casey in the arm to make him focus on the mission in the hand.
"Yeah! Mind to keep your fingers off from my musics and focus on the mission in the hand, please?!" Mikey added.
Dom couldn't help but roll his eyes after hearing what Mikey had just said to Casey.
"Look who's talking." the turtle in white muttered, remembering all those times when either he or someone of his brothers and sisters had said exactly the same words to Mikey for so many times when the turtle in orange himself got distracted by the temptations.
A moment later, the rock music was eventually turned off in the Battle Shell's radio.
"Aw, man!" Casey groaned.
"So..." Mikey said, resuming his conversation with Dom. "You were saying?"
Dom immediately repeated to Mikey, telling at the same time to Arcee and Casey, everything he had said a moment ago before continuing.
"Their shortcut is located in the drainage junction, which is, according to Donnie, on the other side of this block and we're already heading that way. Leo wants you guys to head to this block and to the following address, from where you should find your way down to the drainage junction easily after descending down the manhole." the turtle in white instructed.
Listening carefully to Donnie's instructions, Dom gave Mikey the location of the said manhole where they wanted Mikey's team to head to, along with a direct and as uncomplicated route to the drainage junction as possible. "We'll meet you in there, and hopefully we'll also find Raph and Louie from there as well. Got it?" Dom added.
"Got it, bro. Mikey out." Mikey confirmed before he closed the connection.
###
Meanwhile, in another part of the sewers, Raph and Louie were running along the tunnel while trying to find their way back to the lair, unaware that the group of Foot Tech Ninjas and Tatsu, whom have descended down to the sewers with Raph and Louie, were still following them right on their heels.
The duo soon arrived to the large drainage junction, where was a big whirlpool at the bottom of the room, into which was pouring a tons of sewer water from the opposite side's pipe and their side's with the bars closed sewer tunnels. There was also a long catwalk going over the whirlpool and various pipes that crossed over the whirlpool from above, and the room was partially and the room was partially enlightened with the lights hanging from the ceiling.
And once arriving there, from the constant running exhausted Raph and Louie decided to stop for the break to catch their breaths before continuing their way back home.
However, they didn't know that Leo, Mary, Donnie and Dom were watching them from above in their hiding spot.
And looking through of their goggles, they spotted that a bunch of thermal images of their invisible adversaries approaching Raph and Louie from behind.
"Mirror Mirror on the wall, who is the first victim of the turtle." Mary joked.(1)
Dom, meanwhile, started to count the ninjas down there.
"One... two... three... four... five... six... seven... eight... nine... ten... eleven... twelve... thirteen... fourteen... fifteen... sixteen... seventeen... eighteen. There's about eighteen ninjas. There's a various choices, so feel free to pick up one, sis." the turtle in white said.
Mary chuckled at that with the shrug. "Yeah. Whatever, Dom."
With that, the turtles draw their weapons and moved out from their hiding spot, leaping along the room's lights and the pipes before they landed onto the catwalk's railings. And from there, the foursome leaped towards Raph and Louie.
Seeing a movement from above, Raph and Louie lifted their heads up and spotted their brothers and sister.
"Hey, guys!" the duo exclaimed with the happy faces, 'till they turned into a confusion when realizing that their brothers and sister were holding their weapons out and "attacking" towards them.
"LET'S TURTLEIZE THEM!" the turtles in white, purple, blue and turquoise exclaimed and attacked the invisible Foot Tech Ninjas standing in Raph and Louie's right side, kicking bunch of them over to the ground.
Once the foursome landed behind of their brothers, Leo, Mary, Donnie and Dom separated briefly and began to fight their invisible adversaries off.
Leo turned around and kicked one ninja standing behind him to the guts with his left foot, sending him tumbling to the ground.
Mary spun her Naginata briefly in the air before swinging it to the ground-level and swept with her weapon's blade's flat side her invisible enemy's legs from under, tripping him over, before she turned around and spin kicked with her left leg another invisible ninja in her left to the faces, knocking him over.
Donnie struck with his staff's blunt end at one ninja to the face, making him dizzy before kicking him aside.
Dom merely turned around and spread his arms and his Tonfas wide, hitting with their blunt ends two ninjas in his left and right side to the faces, knocking them down.
After they had fought them off, the turtles moved into a circle and took their individual fighting stances, preparing for the second round.
Raph and Louie were both reeeeally confused of seeing their brothers and sister kicking the empty air and swinging their weapons all around of them as if there was someone else besides them, but they didn't see anyone except their siblings.
"Uh, what are you guys doing?" Raph asked, tilting his head to one side.
"Yeah. Is this supposed to be some kind of shadow-fighting or what?" Louie questioned as well.
"Heads up and defend yourself, bros! You two have been followed down here!" Mary informed.
Raph and Louie were even more surprised by this info.
"Followed? What are you talking about? There's no one else besides us." Louie protested
"If you guys have these Donnie's, what they are called again, heat sensor goggles, you would see that there's a bunch of people all around of us." Dom informed.
"Or haven't you ever hear the one about the invisible ninjas?" Donnie questioned with the smirk.
Through of their goggles, the turtles saw the Foot Tech Ninjas regrouping, while the ones they had knocked over jumped back to their feet.
And then, the ninjas charged at the turtles with the goggles.
Leo, Mary, Donnie and Dom charged towards them as well and both sides began fighting with each other once again. However, while battling with majority of them, some of the ninjas managed to sneak behind of the turtles' shell-backs - and at least couple of them managed to move out of the way of the turtles' swift attacks and move through of their defenses with their highly advanced speed that really surprised the turtles, because such of speed went beyond of the humans' natural speed, even for the ninja.
The ninjas then grabbed from the turtles' shells or belts and lifted them bodily off the ground with surprisingly ease, as if the turtles' body weight did not give them any difficulty.
"Whoa!/Whatta...?! AHHHH!" they screamed as the invisible ninjas began to rapidly spin the turtles around in the air, before they hurled them over Raph and Louie to the ground, screaming all the way before they thumped on their backs to the floor.
"Ow! What the shell was that?" Dom said, groaning in pain.
At that moment, Casey, Arcee and Mikey arrived to the scene as a backup.
Casey then knelt next to the turtles, as they were still lying on their shell-backs in the ground.
"Hey, did I mention that these guys were really fast and strong too?" he asked.
Groaning in pain, Leo opened his mouth to speak. "Ygh! Might've been useful info."
Leo, Donnie, Mary and Dom then got back on their feet. And when they did, they all saw Raph and Louie - now fully aware of the enemy's presence - fighting the invisible ninjas by throwing the bunch of punches and kicks into the empty air.
However, without the heat sensor goggles, they efforts were fruitless and they were at the mercy of the Foot Tech Ninjas' attacks.
However, the invisible ninjas were toying with Raph and Louie, because each time when Raph's or Louie's attentions (and fists) were drawn to elsewhere, the ninjas sneakily and alternately threw the invisible punches and kicks on the turtles' unprotected sides or shell-backs, prompting both of them to turn around and swing their fists to the direction from where the attacks had came from. However, as the ninjas moved out of their reaches, the turtles only hit the empty air instead of their targets, and within a second someone hit them again either from one side or from behind of the back, prompting them to turn back around and waving their fists in the air, attempting in vain to reach their invisible targets before they got punched again after a second and so on.
"UGH! Hey!" Louie exclaimed as he felt the kick in his left side, prompting him to swing a fist to his left.
"OW!" he yelped again when someone kicked him behind of his shin, making him to fall on his right knee and later prompting him to turn around and snap kick whoever was behind of him, ending up to kick an empty air instead. Someone then kicked him in the shell-back, prompting him to turn around again and swing his left fist at the empty air.
"No...! AGH!" he groaned as someone punched him straight to the vision, making him wobble backwards.
"No fair! UGH! AGH! OUCH! ARGH!" Louie cried between of the punches, getting visibly frustrated, before he got another round of punches from both sides.
Things weren't any better with Raph neither,
"YAH!" Raph let out as he sent the punch to the left where where he believed the ninja was standing, only to be kneed by his invisible foe to his chest from his right.
"OUCH! Hey!" the turtle in red let out as he turned around to swing his left fist to the right, only to hit an empty air and to be whacked to the back of his head.
"WHY YOU!" he angrily growled, swinging his left fist to his left, only to be punched to the face from the right again.
"Come on!" Raph cried irritably, before he was punched to the face from the left, causing the spit to fly out of his mouth.
"Show yourself, you lousy-" Raph demanded angrily, before he was cut off with another round of punches: One was aimed to his chest, the second and hard one to his guts, making him bend down till he was hit with an uppercut to his face. This third blow left the turtle in red to wobbling from side to another, clearly dazed.
"Uh... think we should give him a hand?" Mikey asked from his brothers and sisters.
The others nodded in agreement and charged forward to help their brothers.
Casey remained behind. The vigilante had pulled out the golf club and was standing over the the pile of gray slop. He halted his golf club next to the pile as if he was playing golf. Casey then lifted his golf club over his head.
"FORE!" he shouted, as he swung his golf club down and against the slop, shoveling some of it to Raph and Louie's direction.
The turtles in red and black covered themselves with their hands as the slop flew towards them. However, instead of hitting them, the flying slop landed on the ninjas around of them, giving away their their presences and allowing the turtles to see them.
"Ah, much better." Raph muttered, before he split-kicked two ninjas away.
"Finally! It's payback-time." Louie muttered, before the turtle in black turned to the ninja in his right and back-flipped in the air, snap-kicking with his right leg the ninja to the faces before bringing his left leg hard down onto behind him standing second ninja's head, knocking him on his stomach to the ground.
Mikey was elsewhere facing off two ninjas, spinning his Nunchucks wildly in his hands. And like always, he couldn't be without fooling around.
"Now you see 'em." the turtle in orange said as two ninjas' thermal images charged at him with the swords lifted up for the lethal strike, only to be one by one knocked aside by the hard swing of by Mikey's Nunchucks before they could even reach him. "Now you don't."
Dom rolled his eyes at Mikey's fooling around. "Do you really have to fool around at every time we've got ourselves in some serious situation?" the turtle in white asked, as he was facing trio of invisible ninjas with his Tonfas.
One ninja reached to Dom a long before the others did and leapt at the turtle in white to deliver the spin kick to his faces. However, the turtle in white dodged the ninja's attack by turning around and crouching down out of the ninja's kick's way. By the time the ninja had landed back on his feet in front of Dom and was about to turn back to face him, the turtle in white jumped back up, spun himself around before turning back to ninja and roundhouse-kicking him with his right leg to the left side of the ninja's face, sending him spinning sideways tumbling to the ground.
The next ninja attacked Dom afterwards in attempt to split Dom's head in half with his invisible sword from behind. This attack didn't go unnoticed by Dom, who turned to the ninja and lifted his left Tonfa up to block the ninja's sword. The second ninja then attempted to attack Dom from behind, but Dom quickly turned to him and knocked him to the forehead with the blunt end of his right Tonfa, causing him to stumble backwards, slightly dazed. Dom then tossed the same Tonfa in the air and snatched it back by its haft. Turning back to the second ninja, Dom slipped his Tonfa's handle under of the ninja's belt before he turned back to the third one and pulled his Tonfa hard forward, sending the second ninja to stumbling into the third ninja and knocking them over to the ground.
Donnie was meanwhile facing off another invisible ninja. As he turned around to the ninja, Donnie spun his Bo-staff rapidly in his hands before he grabbed from one end of his staff and swung it first down and then upwards, hitting his invisible foe to the beneath of his invisible chin, snapping his head back and sending him stumbling backwards, slightly dazed. Donnie then jumped off the ground and lunged at the ninja, lifting his staff over his head and prepared to whack the ninja to the head with it. The invisible ninja prepared for this by lifting his wrist up to block incoming weapon's blow. Donnie, however, cunningly took the wider grip from his staff and pulled his weapon down and away from its initial blow as he landed in front of the ninja. Donnie then pulled his staff hard forward, stabbing with its blunt end the ninja hard into his invisible stomach and knocking him off his feet to the ground.
Next to Donnie, Leo, while walking slowly backwards, was swinging his Katana swords swiftly and repeatedly in the air as the turtle in blue was battling with one or two invisible foes, who had the invisible swords in their hands. They repeatedly swung their swords down on Leo and each blow after blow was harder than previous. With the help of Donnie's goggles with which he saw the incoming blades, Leo was barely capable to keep the odds even with these ninjas, though they didn't show even any sight of exhaustion unlike what he did. They just tirelessly repeated their attacks.
While Leo and Donnie, slowly backing towards each other, were distracted by the ninjas they were currently battling with, eight Foot Tech Ninjas attempted to attack them from above and from both flanks.
Four of them leapt up on Leo and Donnie, raising their swords up for the fatal blow, while another four were about to move in for their unguarded flanks.
However, Mary suddenly landed with her feet onto the heads of two invisible ninjas in her brothers' left side, either knocking both of them out cold or sending them into a confusion. And right after that, the turtle in turquoise jumped in the air and flew over her brothers heads. In the middle her flight, Mary flipped herself upside down just above of her brothers before spinning herself around with her legs spread wide to the opposite directions, kicking all four invisible ninjas off the air. Mary then flipped back upright and fell legs first towards the last two ninjas in her brothers right side, kicking them to their invisible chests and sending them tumbling to the ground.
After dealing off all eight of them, Donnie, Leo and Mary backed together shell against shell.
"Gotta admit, guys. These ninjas' strength, speed and durability has been proved, but we can't keep up this whole night." Mary informed to her brothers.
"Agree!" Leo nodded while fending off his invisible opponents, before turning to Donnie. "Donnie! We need to find their weaknesses!"
"Already done, Leo. Their cloaking controls look to be somewhere around the chest plate" Donnie informed.
With this information, Leo jumped up from the ground.
"You mean, HERE?!" Leo said with the smirk, as he swiftly slashed with his Katanas at the two ninjas' chest plates where Donnie said their cloaking devices were located. Once the devices were critically damaged by Leo's swords, the ninjas became instantly visible, battered from the fight and sparking.
The critically damaged ninjas turned around to see Donnie coming right towards of them.
"HAI-YAH!" Donnie let out as he swung Bo-staff harder than he had ever before at the ninjas, knocking them both off their feet and and sending them tumbling over to the ground. His weapon's blow had further exacerbated the damage in these ninjas' android-like systems, which caused them sparking even more till their circuits burned out and the ninjas literally "shut down".
"Yeah! Right there." Donnie said to Leo.
Elsewhere, Casey was battling against one of the ninjas: golf-club against the pair of Katanas. As a lot experienced street fighter, Casey managed to hold his own against the invisible ninja for some time and even managed to deliver some blows on his opponent.
However, the ninja proved to be far more skilled and cunning than the vigilante fighter. He eventually managed to get the upper hand over Casey after he did a fatal false move, which led the ninja to disarm him by snap-kicking the golf club off Casey's grasp, getting him totally off guard. The ninja then proceed by turn around and hook kicking Casey to the guts, sending the vigilante flying onto his back to the ground.
Casey lied on his side for a moment, holding from his sore stomach while groaning in pain, before he slowly rose up onto his knee but stayed in bend posture.
That was the moment when the ninja moved in for kill and raised his sword over his head!
However, as the ninja was ready to bring his sword down on Casey to split his head open with one clean strike...
"PSYCH!" Casey let out as he suddenly jumped up and took out the couple of Purple Dragons' paint sprayer and sprayed the pain all over of the surprised ninja, covering his head and torso with the purple and green paint... just like he had done to one of the three first ones back in the alley.
The ninja stepped back after being sprayed with the paint, but Casey didn't allow him time to recover. The vigilante picked up his golf club from the ground and instantly attacked the ninja, whacking him hard to the head. This time, unlike earlier, the heavy strike with the golf club to the head didn't just knocked off the ninja's eye but it also bashed the ninja's left temple inside of his head.
Despite the damage Casey caused, the ninja wasn't out of the game yet.
The ninja then attempted to resume his attack on Casey, until all the sudden, one of Raph's Sais flew over Casey's left shoulder and hit directly to the cloaking device in the ninja's chest, damaging it and making everything else what wasn't covered by the paint a visible again.
"Casey! Duck!" Raph suddenly yelled as the turtle in red rushed and dived towards Casey from behind.
Casey dodged him by crouching down as Raph, roaring from the top of his lungs, flew over the vigilante and towards the visible and sparking ninja, whom Raph violently tackled off his feet and pinned him onto his back to the ground.
And once the turtle in red had the ninja pinned to the ground...
"DIE!" Raph roared, as he finished the ninja off by running his another Sai's blade through of the ninja's head.
Elsewhere, Louie was starting to get bored of standing aside of the action and witness how the others: Leo, Donnie, Mary, Casey and even Raph were having all the fun of kicking the butt and scrapping the invisible ninjas one by one.
"Hey! Save something for me, guys!" Louie exclaimed, loudly whining about his inability to both help his family and kick some invisible butt. "I want to scrap some drone ninjas!"
Meanwhile, Arcee had positioned herself onto the same tunnel pipe from which Raph and Louie had came from. Once there, the turtle in pink took out her Yumi bow, picked up an arrow and placed it on her bow. Then, using her goggles, Arcee started locate the invisible ninjas from the area.
She picked the first single one that was secretly closing on Louie from behind, and he wasn't aware of him.
And so, Arcee turned towards Louie and the invisible ninja, leveled her bow up in lateral position. Then she pulled her bow's string backwards and she aimed her arrow carefully at there where Donnie mentioned the ninjas' weak points to be. And when the target was picked, she tensed the string a little bit more.
"Here you go, bro! Incoming!" Arcee warned as she released her arrows into flight.
Even though Arcee had sent her arrow flying harmlessly safely over Louie's head, the turtle in black still bend down and covered his head with his hands.
Arcee's arrow hit to its target, damaging the cloaking device and causing from the damage sparking ninja to become visible again.
Hearing the sound of sparking from behind of his shell-back, Louie turned around and saw now-visible ninja standing right behind of him.
"Aww!" Louie sighed, touched as he turned to look at his little sister on top of the pipe. "Thanks, sis! I really appreciate that." Louie thanked, before the turtle in black pulled out one of his Butterfly swords, holding the blade downwards in his hand before he sunk it with one hard thrust deep into the ninja's stomach in hope to cause a further damage
Louie's fatal strike got the ninja to bend over and was about to fall to the floor, until Louie then pulled his sword out from the ninja's stomach and turned to him, before he flipped backwards and kicked the bending ninja-android to his chest with both of his, sending him off his feet and flying in arc to the ground.
Arcee then turned her attention to the other side of the room, placing this time three arrows on her bow before leveling it up and taking aim at the invisible ninjas, who were regrouped into the group of three individuals, before she pulled her bow's string backwards and tensed it a bit more.
"Incoming, Mary!" Arcee called out for her sister as she released her arrows.
The turtle in pink's arrows managed to hit directly or just scratched their cloaking devices to make them visible again.
And once they did, all three ninjas were quickly attacked by Mary. The turtle in turquoise slashed each ninja with her Naginata's blade either one or two or even three times as she ran past of them with incredible speed. And once she was done, the damage she had caused on the ninjas was even more severe: first ninja's head and torso were split in two, second one's left arm and right leg were sliced clean off from their bases before the ninja was cut in half from the waist, and the last ninja got even a deeper cut across his chest before his head was severed off from his shoulders. Once Mary had dealt them, all three ninjas (or their "mutilated" corpses) fell over to the ground.
After the ninjas were defeated, the turtles and Casey then regrouped and gathered around of the defeated ninjas, staring down at their battered, damaged and lifeless corpses.
"You have outdone yourself once again, Donnie. With these helpful goggles, they're not so tough at all." Mary praised her brainy brother.
"Why thank you, sis." Donnie thanked.
"That's it then, right? We got them all, right?" Louie questioned, eyeing the corpses lying in their feet.
"Well, not all of them, bro. Only half of them." Donnie replied to her brother. "But because when I don't see the last ones anywhere, I guess we managed to drive them off."
"So, I guess that we won." Raph declared.
"That's what you think, Demon!" a familiar voice said above of them, making the turtles and Casey turn around to look to the catwalk, seeing Tatsu standing there proudly, while glaring coldly down at all of them.
"TATSU!" all six turtles exclaimed in unison.
"Who?" Casey questioned, having never met Tatsu before.
"Some scar-faced rat-bitten ninja we met week ago." Raph snarled.
"I have to give it to you that I'm... impressed... that you Kappa managed to defeat half of our newest soldiers, the Foot Tech Ninjas, even with their advanced strength, durability, speed and even invisibility!" the scarred ninja master snarled as he paced along the catwalk. "But that doesn't matter. You Yokai haven't won this battle yet."
"You're right, Tatsu!" Leo said, pointing the ninja master with one of his Katana. "How about you come down here and face us?!"
"And give us an honor to send you to another swimming trip, scarface!" Louie taunted, pointing with his finger at the swirlpool.
Tatsu chuckled amusedly while shaking his head.
"After the last time we met, I'm not falling for that trick again." Tatsu said. "However, I have my own offer. How about... you drop your weapons and surrender."
"And why should we, Tatsu?" Mary said defiantly.
"In case you haven't noticed, we already drove off these... Foot Tech Ninjas, you called them, and you're standing here alone against all of us." Donnie noted.(2)
"And, as you probably remember, we defeated you last time with the teamwork." Arcee reminded.
"So what could possibly be different this time?" Raph questioned.
Tatsu grinned down on them ominously. "Because you have no choice. And let me to demonstrate to you my point."
Suddenly, something suddenly grabbed Casey and pulled him away of the turtles, much to their surprise and shock. The turtles watched near helplessly as some invisible force lifted Casey up to the catwalk, next to Tatsu, and hung him directly above the whirlpool.
As Casey struggled in whatever's grip, all the remaining eleven ninjas became visible as they stood by Tatsu's side on the catwalk. Two of them were standing crouched on the catwalk's railing and one of them was holding Casey from his shirt above the whirlpool's vortex.
"You heard, master Tatsu, freaks." the ninja snarled. "Drop your weapons and surrender... or else I'll drop him to his watery grave."
The situation dawned on turtles too well. Tatsu and those ninjas were holding Casey as a hostage hoping to exchange his life for turtles' surrender.
The turtles froze, realizing that they found themselves in a hostage situation.
Their hesitation between of action and surrender, which really wasn't a pleasant thing for them when there was a friend's life at risk, allowed the ninjas to jump down from the catwalk with swords in their hands and surround the turtles, cornering them to the edge of the whirlpool and cutting all the escape routes.
However, the green ninjas cared less of the ninjas around of them. They were completely focused on Tatsu and two Foot Tech that were still on the catwalk and Casey.
"My grip is loosening. Drop your weapons. Now." the ninja demanded again.
"You see my point now, Kappa, and you sure understand how serious I am!" Tatsu snarled threateningly. "So for the third and very last time, drop your weapons and surrender, or your friend's life will be forfeit."
"No! Don't do it, guys! I'm not worth it!" Casey exclaimed, urging the turtles not to surrender, even if it costs him his life.
Eventually, Donnie and Arcee were the first turtles to lower down their weapons.
"What do you two think you're doing!" Louie snapped, not taking a like of Donnie's and Arcee's attitude at all. "Are you seriously gonna surrender to that rat-bitten guy?!"
"I don't like it any more than you, Louie, but we do not have a choice in Casey's sake." Arcee replied miserably.
"If we move into the action, they'll drop Casey into the vortex and he'll drown down there, or otherwise those ninjas behind of us will move on us with their superhuman speed and stab us in the back with their blades long before we can even get to Casey." the turtle in pink theorized. "When the opposite side gets the upper hand, I'm afraid we can't do anything but to listen to them."
"You know, she's got a point." Donnie said, earning the blank glares from his brothers and sister.
"Aren't you starting to sound like Michelangelo, Donnie?" Leo questioned, as that was usually Mikey's way to avoid the trouble every time they really are in the trouble.
Donnie only shrugged at Leo's question in 'I don't know' matter.
Wishing no harm on Casey, despite him being lately super annoying unwanted house guest, the turtles finally albeit grudgingly decided to stand down and threw their weapons to the ground as a sign of surrender.
Tatsu's grin widened after seeing the turtles throwing their weapons to the ground. "Good boys." he mockingly praised.
"The good old turtle luck is in a really bad mood today, as Mikey has a habit of saying." Louie complained, as he grudgingly tossed his Butterfly swords to the ground.
"Hey! That's my line, not Mikey's." Raph exclaimed.
Suddenly, the turtle in red started to take a notice that something was missing from around.
"Hey. Speaking of which, where's Mikey?" Raph wondered, as he started to look around to find the missing turtle with his eyes.
Mary also noticed the same thing as Raph did, though a bit more than just a one missing turtle.
"And not just Mikey... where's Dom?" the turtle in turquoise wondered as well.
Louie was also about to reach for his Manriki-gusaris in his belt and throw them amongst of his and his brothers and sisters weapons, until he suddenly noticed something.
They weren't there where they should've been.
"Hey! Where are my Manriki-gusaris? They were supposed to be hanging on my belt." the turtle in black wondered as he noticed that his chain weapons were suddenly missing.
The turtles then silently lifted their heads up after seeing a movement near the ceiling of the room. Looking up, the turtles noticed that Mikey and Dom were secretly walking in a row along the pipe as they moved above the ninjas and Casey.
The turtles in orange and white had spread their hands to wide to maintain their balance while walking on the narrow pipe.
"I can't believe I let you talk me into this, Mikey." Dom whispered a bit irritated that he had let the youngest turtle to take the lead.
"Chill it, Dom. This will work." Mikey said, before the turtle in orange started to imitating Master Splinter. "Remember, my bro, the way of balance, and the way of invisibility."
The duo soon arrived to the spot where they were right above of Tatsu, Foot Tech Ninjas and Casey... and none of their enemies hadn't noticed them yet.
"Okay. We're ready to take them down. You go from front... and I go from behind." Mikey said with the short and simple explaination about his plan of the surprise attack.
"Whatever." Dom replied as he took out Louie's Manriki-gusaris - much to Louie's surprise, as it dawned to him that Dom has somehow managed and even against his own "No pick-pocketing" rule pick-pocketed his Manriki-gusari's from him without him even seeing or knowing that (unless it was Mikey who did it). Dom wasn't at all skilled in using Manriki-gusari in the way Louie uses them, so he had instead tied up the chains from under of the weights around of each other.
With the nod, Mikey jumped down from the pipe and Dom jumped after him. And at the same time as Dom threw himself off the pipe, the turtle in white swung the connected chains like a whip around the pipe he and Mikey were standing on a moment ago, till its other end swung towards him from underneath of the pipe. Dom grabbed from this end of the connected chains with his left hand while holding tight from the other end with his right.
Tatsu noticed the movement above of them and turned up to see what it was.
"WHATTA...!" Tatsu exclaimed in surprise as he saw Dom swinging by the chains towards him and one of the Foot Tech Ninjas on the catwalk with him... while Mikey was falling directly towards the other ninja holding Casey as a hostage.
Dom reached to the catwalk a second before Mikey did and flew past it from above, but not before delivering a strong kick on Tatsu's and the Foot Tech Ninja's chest with his legs, knocking them both over the railing off the catwalk and sending them falling into the whirlpool below.
The second ninja turned his attention away from the other turtles to Dom as the turtle in white flew over and to the other side of the catwalk by Louie's chains. However, the ninja failed to notice Mikey incoming from above, till the turtle in orange kicked the ninja to the back, sending him off the catwalk's railing and down into the whirlpool after Tatsu and his colleague.
Unfortunately, Mikey's kick cause the ninja to release his grip from Casey and let the vigilante to fall.
The turtles gasped in shock.
"AHHH!" Casey cried as he fell towards the whirlpool along with ninjas and Tatsu.
Seeing that the other ninjas were distracted by the sight of into the whirlpool falling Tatsu, their comrades and vigilante, Donnie seized his chance and rushed forward to save their comrade. However, before he could take the action, one of the ninjas who wasn't distracted by his comrades' and Casey's fall into the whirlpool, lowered his sword down in front of Donnie's face, halting him in the place and preventing him from saving Casey.
Arcee, seeing this and that nobody else was looking, turned her gaze to her Yumi bow that was lying in the ground. Quickly coming up with an idea, the turtle in pink crouched down and threw herself towards ninja that was blocking Donnie's way, reaching out her right hand towards her Yumi bow and picked it up from the ground as she landed on the upper part of her shell to the floor and somersaulted the rest of the way, landing on one knee behind the ninja's back.
"GO, DONNIE!" Arcee urged, before the turtle in pink quickly swung her bow's hooked end at the ninja's legs and swept them off from under, sending the ninja tumbling onto his side to the ground.
"THANKS, ARCEE!" Donnie thanked, before the turtle in purple dived forward, grabbed his Bo-staff as he landed on it with his hands and pushed himself off the ground, flipping into the pool and after their falling comrade.
To prevent himself from falling to the vortex as well, Donnie grabbed and positioned himself onto one of from the water emerging and upright standing pipes and stretched out his Bo-staff towards Casey.
"CASEY! GRAB ON!" Donnie shouted.
Casey did as Donnie told and stretched out his hand towards Donnie's staff, managing to grab from its end just in time before he could hit the water.
Tatsu and two ninjas weren't as lucky as Casey, as he fell into the water and was instantly caught by the vortex's flow.
"KAPPA-AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" Tatsu roared furiously, shaking his fist angrily at Donnie, Arcee, Mikey and Dom and Casey as he was taken away by the torrent of the vortex.
Casey followed Tatsu's and the ninjas going before theywere swalloved by the vortex, disappearing beneath of the twirling water's surface.
And after the ninjas were out of the sight, Casey looked up at Donnie and gave to the brainy turtle a thumbs up.
Donnie nodded to his vigilante comrade, before he flung Casey with his staff out from the pool and back to the solid ground at the edge of the pool.
And once there, Casey pulled out his baseball bat from his golf bag and took a battle-ready stance.
"YEAH! Round two!" the vigilante declared, as he was one by one joined by Donnie then Mikey, then Dom - who discarded Louie's Manriki-gusariin the favor of his Tonfas - and finally Arcee, after the turtle in pink had retrieved her Tessens from the ground. And a second later, Leo, Mary, Raph and Louie picked up their own weapons and rejoined with their own and turned on their enemy. Each turtle and Casey took their respective battle-ready poses based on their different weapons and fighting styles.
"Alright, you travesties of chameleons! This time it's personal!" Raph declared to the now-visible ninjas, eager for some payback.
"Especially when the odds are even now, with nine on nine, and that WE CAN SEE YOU!" Louie declared, as he the quick count of both sides.
And with that, the turtles and Casey attacked.
"LET'S TURTLEIZE/CASEYLEIZE THEM!"
As the two sides were just about to clash each others, the turtles suddenly jumped off the ground and flipped over of the surprised and dumbfounded ninjas' heads before landing to behind of their backs, while Casey slid with the style between of one ninja's legs before rejoining to the turtles.
Now the turtles had the ninjas cornered to the edge of the pool.
And with the tables turned, the turtles and Casey charged at the ninjas once again.
Working together and showing no quarter, the turtles and Casey stripped the ninjas from their weapons and either tossed, shoved or kicked all screaming ninjas into the whirlpool.
Once the ninjas were beaten and sent into the pool, Casey walked to the edge of the whirlpool and witnessed all nine remaining ninjas being caught by the vortex before they disappeared beneath of the surface of the swirling water.
"Whoa! Thanks, guys. I owe you." Casey said to Mikey, Dom, Donnie and Arcee, grateful to the mfor saving his life, while the vigilante took Donnie's goggles and his mask off his faces.
"Happy to help." Arcee replied, confident of the fact that she'd played partially the key part of rescuing Casey by moving the ninja out of Donnie's way, so that the turtle in purple could jump in to rescue Casey.
"We take cash, personal checks and most major credit cards." Mikey joked as the turtle in orange took off his goggles and placed them to hang by his belt.
The other turtles also took off their googles after they had served their purpose tonight.
As Louie put his Butterfly swords away and took off his goggles, Dom walked up to him and handed him his Manriki-gusari, stacked in a neat bundle
"Here, bro. I think you dropped something." Dom said to his brother as he offered them back.
However, Louie didn't even make a single move to take his chain weapons back from his brother. Instead, the turtle in black shot at his brother a questioning glare while tilting his head a little bit with quirked "eye-brown" as he silently questioned his brother's motives of pick-pocketing from him his Manriki-gusaris.
Dom started to get irritated by this.
"Well? You want these back or what? Or I can keep them for now and hand them back then tomorrow if that's what you want." Dom said irritably.
"And what happened to "No pick-pocketing" rule in the first place?" Louie shot back. "I never thought you would go against your own rules, bro, after you keep nagging about it to me all the time. Besides, You don't even like a chain weapons, even less know how to use them."
Dom them lifted up two of his fingers.
"Two things, Louie. One: You're right. I definitely don't like the chain weapons nor steel weapons and I don't know how to use them nor even want to learn to use them. And two: I didn't go against my own rule. It was Mikey who snatched them from you when you weren't looking and pushed them on me with the claim that he needed me to use them in that crazy and risky rescue stunt he talked me into. So blame Mikey for the pick-pocketing stunt." Dom explained.
"Hey!" Mikey exclaimed, offended.
Somewhat accepting Dom's explanation and reaching out his hand to take his Manriki-gusari from Dom's hand, he still kept his questioning look in his eyes locked with Dom's.
"It doesn't matter if you don't like the chain weapons nor steel weapons and don't want to learn to use them. Just like Master Splinter had once said; "Each ninja master must learn to master all kinds of weapons to be better prepared for the situations where your primary weapons either ain't useful or not within your reach." So you liked it or not, dear bro, one day sooner or later you are forced to learn to wield the weapons made from the chains and steel that can severely hurt people." Louie teased with the sing-song voice before turning around and walked away, snickering hilariously.
Dom, not taking a liking of the entire idea at all, only glared after his brother.
"In your dreams, dear bro." the turtle in white muttered under of his breath, before he rejoined with the others.
Casey then yawned and stretched out his hands, hinting that he was a pretty tired.
"Man, I'm beat. Maybe I should just crash at you guys' place tonight." Casey suggested.
Each of the turtles' eyes widened and mouths dropped in shock, horrified at the though of Casey staying at their place for the night.
"NO!" both Leo and Dom, as horrified of the very idea as their siblings were, freaked out and they moved (a quite fast) between of the rest of their family and Casey to protest.
However, after realizing what they had just said and not wishing to hurt Casey's feelings, both Leo and Dom calmed down and switched their freaked tone of voices into much more calmer and nicer ones while trying to change their recent frantic answers to much more polite ones.
"Uh... I mean..." Leo started, nervously.
"Well... uh... um... that would be nice, Casey... we'd love to, but we've been up a quite late and Master Splinter wants us all to be ready and fit for tomorrow morning's lessons. Maybe next time, if that's okay?" Dom explained, chuckling nervously.
"Yeah. Nothing beats the comfort of sleeping in your own bed, right?" Leo asked, chuckling as nervously as Dom.
The other turtles joined to their brothers to give a backup.
"We'll give you a ride. Have you home in no time." Donnie nervously offered.
"Just follow us and we'll take to our Sewer Slider and take you to the manhole closest to your home." Arcee offered as well.
"Yeah. We'll even carry you upstairs, tuck you in, serve you the evening snack, cover you in the bed. Heck, we'll even read you a bedtime story" Mikey added.
With their offers out, the turtles began to walk Casey away, towards the location of the Sewer Slider where they left it.
###
Meanwhile, in the throne room of the palace on top of the ninja clan's skyscraper, Hun, Stockman, Jennika - whose wounds, which she'd done by herself unbeknownst to everyone in the room, were bandaged - Tatsu and eleven Foot Tech Ninjas, were standing in front of their master as he paced back anf forth in front of them, looking really pissed off after hearing the news of Raph and Louie's escape and Tatsu's and Foot Tech Ninjas failure to locate their lair and capture or kill the turtles.
The Foot-Tech-Ninjas behind their master's henchmen were soaking wet from the smelling sewer water, covered with the mud and slime and have suffered some surface damage in many places, which were either from their battle with the turtles and Casey or from being banged constantly against the walls of the narrow tunnels and smaller pipes as they were drifted away by the torrent.
Tatsu, instead of standing like the other henchmen, was on his knees before his master, with his hands together and raised before his faces as if in a prayer position. With the miserable look on his scarred face, Tatsu had closed his eyes and lowered his head down in shame of his another humiliating defeat and failure.
"Another operation marred by the sickening stench of defeat!" the man snarled furiously, turning to his henchmen. "No doubt you are all well aware of my extremely limited tolerance of failure!"
Stockman then stepped nervously but determinedly forward to explain.
"But sir, this time it wasn't my fault! The whole failure of the operation was the fault of these three imbeciles!" Stockman defended while accusing Hun, Jennika and Tatsu, earning a spiteful scowl from all three of them, which the disgraced scientist ignored. "This bumbling oaf let the creatures escape! And these two pets of your didn't even manage to lay a single harm on them! If they had just followed my plan and not taken matters into their own hands, it would not have never failed!"
The ninja master turned around and grabbed stockman by the collar of his coat, bringing the anxious one-eyed scientist closer to his face. "They did take the matters into their own hands because I ordererd them to do so!" the man snarled.
Stockman was taken aback by this revelation. "You... you told them to do so?" Stockman asked.
"Your plan was sound, yet I needed to make a little changes to it to ensure that it will be successful." the man snarled, before glanced over Stockman's shoulder at Tatsu and the Foot-Tech-Ninjas behind them.
"And yet, judging from Tatsu's report and ragged condition of your creations, they failed in their task! Which was, as you put it, "Deliver the goods.""" the man snarled to horrified disgraced scientist through of his gritted teeth.
"B-b-b-b-b-but I can upgrade them! Make then faster! Stronger! Even better than this! They won't fail you the next time, I swear it!" Stockman tried to propose panickedly in an desperate attempt to save himself from what was coming for him.
"Oh, yes, they won't." the man hissed. "But somebody must pay the price of this failure. Someone who made this plan in the first place."
The man then threw Stockman away, causing him to land with the pained groan in front of two Foot-Tech-Ninjas. The man then gestured them to take Stockman off his sight. The ninjas obeyed without the question and seized the disgraced one-eyed doctor by his arms and started to drag him along the throne room's floor and towards the door.
"Hey! Wait, where are you taking me? Take your hands off me! I made you! I am your creator!" Stockman whined, but the ninjas bluntly ignored him.
Hun grinned slyly, while both Tatsu and Jennika stared coldly, as Stockman was dragged out of the room.
The man then turned to Hun. "What did you learn from your interrogation?" he questioned, waiting for the giant's report.
"Those two turtles we captured were tough to relent, but I've worked over a lot of such tough guys in my day. But even after using some rough methods to make them answer to my questions about their allegiances... I have come to the resolution that Jennika may have been right about them from the start." Hun reported.
"What?!" Tatsu and Jennika exclaimed at the same time.
"Right about what?" the man pressed on.
"Those two I interrogated appeared to be no clue of what I was talking about, which tells me that these turtles may have never even heard of your enemies, let alone worked for them." Hunt told to them.
"So you're telling me that they're in allegiance to no one?" the man asked, deeply thinking of what he'd heard.
"Judging by what Jennika said earlier and all the little information I got out of those two creatures... yes." Hun confirmed.
"Hmm." the man muttered, somewhat surprised of this report but also interested as he walked away from his henchmen.
"So this was all for nothing! If these Kappa have no allegiance to your enemies or anyone, they're worth of nothing!" Tatsu spat, greatly disappointed of the report, because the turtles' supposed allegiance to their enemies would've given him even more motivation to double his efforts to get his revenge for his humiliating defeats in the turtles' hands.
"Then they're not worth of our time either." Jennika said, earning an disagreeing and disapproval scowl from Tatsu.
"Not quite." the man eventually said. "If those turtles have no allegiance to no one, I see no reason not to seize the opportunity... to recruit them into our ranks." the man said.
Hun, Tatsu and Jennika couldn't believe what they'd just heard, especially Tatsu.
"RECRUIT THEM?!" the scarred ninja master exclaimed in outrageous disbelief. "With all due respect, master, I'd advise you against this. Those creatures are a bad news. They would never agree to join us after all of this fighting between of us! And besides, what do we even benefit from them?"
"Maybe with a little persuasion, they will, Tatsu. Otherwise, that remains to be seen." the man said calmly even after Tatsu's outrageous outburst and protests against his interest of the turtles as a potential allies to him. "And if we play our cards right, those turtles might indeed prove to be useful to me when the time comes to confront my enemies."
In the background, while Hun and Tatsu were confronting their master about his newest plans for the turtles, Jennika stared at them from the background with the increasing worry, fearing the potential outcome of this.
###
Eight days later.
After Jennika had recovered from her injuries enough to return to her duties, the masked ninja woman left the ninja clan's skyscraper for her routine solo patrol in the city. Despite the mild soreness of her still-healing wounds, Jennika ignored all of it as she jumped from roof to roof in utmost haste, as if she was in a hurry somewhere. Along the way, she made the brief stops to check that he was truly alone and no one's being following her.
This was because Jennika was well aware of Tatsu's obvious jealousy, bitterness, and hatred towards her because she was their master's top pupil over him. And because of that, there has been many times in the past when Tatsu has been relentlessly and stubbornly tried to make her look bad in front of her master, so that she will lose his favor and give it to him instead.
Even now, Tatsu may have sent some of his men to follow her from a distance as if for the three reasons: One, he either needed to know how she was faring and what kind of reports she has already gathered, so that Tatsu can claim them for himself and report them to their master a step ahead of Jennika. Two: Tatsu might have found her patrol alone rather suspicious, as usually the ninjas of their clan patrol in a small groups of 4-12 ninjas. He may be suspecting that there is something what Jennika is hiding from them or doing something deceitful behind of their master's back. That's why he is determined to find out what it is to both disgrace her in front of their master and label her as a traitor to their clan. Or three: Tatsu may have sent these ninjas after her with only one intention based on the final conclusion to get rid of her for good; to have her assassinated.
However, there was no fear for that. The master had taken Tatsu with him for the other matters today and Hun had returned to the Purple Dragons. But still, she needed to be careful.
While jumping along the rooftops, Jennika also thought about her master's plan to recruit those turtle creatures into their ranks. The very thought worried her down to the core. Those turtles have proven themselves to be both persistent, impressively skilled and resourceful fighters like any ninja. The only problem in that was that because they do not know into what they've got themselves involved, their presence represents not just a potential benefit but also a potential threat in this conflict between their clan and the enemies of her master, despite their prefer to remain neutral.
With that in mind, Jennika leaped off the edge of the building and descended along the two buildings' fire escapes down to the dark alley, which ended to the dead end from the other side.
After landing on her feet in middle of the alley, Jennika stood still and looked around of her to both ensure that she was truly alone and as if she was expecting someone to be here tonight to meet her.
"I've come. Are you here?" she asked from someone with the low tone.
Soon after, a shadowy man stepped out from behind of the large green dumpster that was leaning against the wall. This man had a blue hair tied into ponytail behind the back of his head and sideburns. He was dressed in the black clothing and wore over it a long grey trench coat. He was also wearing black glasses and the golden medallion around his neck, in which was carved the weird-looking head. This man was followed by two other men with the identical clothing, expect that one Caucasian American and another was African-American. Both of them had shaved head and small tuft of hair tied into ponytail behind of his head All three of them stared at Jennika with the strict stares.
Jennika turned to face these two. However, unlike any ninja who'd assume this to be an ambush and would draw out his/her sword to engage this unknown enemy to the fight, Jennika didn't do anything to grab and draw her swords out. Instead, she took off her mask to face these men properly.
"You're late, Jennika." the man with the blue hair said strictly. "You we're supposed to bring your report a couple weeks ago.
"I'm sorry, John, my brother, but I had to recover enough to be able to come here tonight." Jennika apologized. "Besides, you know I'm not able to come to give my report as often, not after Tatsu almost caught me giving my report. That petty man has been right on my heels ever since. I'm at least lucky that he took him for other matters tonight."
The man, John by name, who was revealed to be Jennika's brother, gave her a very slight nod in understatement.
"Anyway, Jennika, the Council are waiting for your report." John said, raising up his right warm, in which he was wearing a non-regular-looking watch.
From the watch came out a pink hologram, which showed three people sitting side by side in the weird-looking purple seats. One of them was chubby man with the blue hair, mustaches and beard and he was dressed in a blue suit. Second one was skinny man with blue hair too and he was wearing the brown outfit and hat. And third was a woman with the short blue hair and glasses and she was dressed in the blue suit too.
"Jennika." the chubby one started, addressing the ninja woman in front of them.
"Your..." the skinny man started with the similar sounding voice as the chubby one's.
"... report?" the woman finished with the same voice.
"My lords, my apologies for not being able to report earlier as I was supposed to. But I'm here to give my report now. I regret to tell you that our enemy has discovered our presence in this city. He did lost the Sword of Tengu a couple weeks ago, so his efforts to find us directly are largely delayed, but it's still only a matter of time when he eventually finds us." Jennika reported.
"Your warnings..." chubby man started.
"... are noted..." skinny man continued.
"...Jennika. We will..." woman continued.
"... double our efforts..." skinny man continued.
"... immediately." the chubby one finished.
Jennika nodded, before the ninja women changed the subject of her report.
"My lords? There's also something else you should know. We're not alone fighting against our enemy." she told them.
"Your mean...?" the woman started.
"...those eight..." skinny man continued.
"... mutant creatures?" chubby man asked.
Jennika was taken aback when the Council mentioned the turtles. "You already know, my lords?"
"Our men have..." chubby man started.
"... kept an eye..." skinny man continued.
"... on them. What...?" the woman continued.
"... can you tell us..." skinny man continued.
"... about them?" chubby man started.
"Not much." Jennika started. "Two of them were captured by the enemy a week ago, but they managed to escape from him. They don't seem to have any alliances with anyone, which means that they might either be a potential benefit to us... or, if worst happens, even a potential threat to us."
"You mean...?" the woman asked.
"Our enemy has a plan to benefit from them and even use them against us. However, that is only because they have no allegiances to us or anyone and they do not know what they've got themselves into. And if the enemy can benefit from that knowledge, why can't we too?" Jennika said.
"This is..." the woman started
"... a serious news..." skinny man continued.
"... indeed. We must..." chubby one continued.
"... make the precautions..." skinny one continued
"... about these creatures." the woman finished, before she started again.
"Before we..."
"... decide anything..." skinny one continued.
"... for them. We must..." chubby one continued.
"... gather more information..." skinny one continued.
"... about them." the woman finished.
"Jennika! John!" all three of them said in unison, demanding their attention for their next tasks.
"Learn all you can about them." the woman started
"If they pose no threat..." skinny one continued.
"... we will consider..." chubby one continued.
"... do we make ourselves..." skinny one continued.
"... known to them or not." the woman finished, before she started again.
"However, if they are..."
"... in the employ of our enemy..." skinny one continued.
"... you know what is..." chubby one continued.
"... necessary to eliminate..." skinny one continued.
"... this threat." the woman finished.
"And... that is...?" Jennika asked uneasily, knowing what was necessary to eliminate the threat the turtles might pose is the worst happens.
"Yes. You'll kill them all." the three people all said calmly yet ominously in unison.
Jennika let out the sight in disapproval, but did not show it to her masters. She was duty-bound to serve their will and take the necessary course of actions for the favor of their cause. She only hoped that those turtle creatures would not pose any threat to her masters, especially after finding out their potential benefits for their cause and proposing it to the Council, which they took into consideration, albeit reluctantly.
With nothing else to say, Jennika, John and his men bowed their heads to the council in respect, ready for their new tasks and, in necessary, eliminate the potential threat of the turtles once and for all.
THE END
TRIVIA
1) = I replaced Donnie with Mary in that joke part when seeing Foot Tech Ninjas thermal images. I also changed Donnie's joke with "Mirror Mirror on the wall, who is the first victim of the turtle.", which is originally based on how it is spelled in Finnish dub "Kerro, kerro kuvastin, ketä pian mätkitään pahimmin?". Translated, it can be spelled like this "Mirror Mirror on the wall, who soon gonna get beaten worse?" or something like that.
2) = Wasn't it a bit odd how Donnie actually knew the name of the Foot Tech Ninja unit in "Return of the New York, Part 1" without hearing it even for once? So I added Tatsu here to reveal their unit's name to the turtles.
