Katie - Thank you. I'm glad you like it.
animegamefanatic - Well, everybody of them probably has their own stories of how they ended up as homeless people, but I rather decided to continue on with the main story line rather than create each one of them their own backgrounds, though I did gave Professor Gregory (or Garey) a small glimpse about his own background before becoming homeless. And yes, the Garbageman best to watch out for Mary when they meet.

= THE GARBAGEMAN PART 2 =
The next night.
Donnie and Mary were driving on the backs of Raph's and Louie's borrowed Turtle Cycles along the roads, heading towards Garey's Shantytown so that Donnie could hand over to Garey the book on the Big Bang as he had promised yesterday night, and Mary to check on Olivia and her family just like she'd promised the previous night.
However, once they got there, there was awaiting for them a cheerless sight.
Garey's dump and Shantytown... it was all trashed and abandoned: the fences of the place were knocked over, the homeless people's shacks and huts were all smashed into pieces and there were a numerous smokey spots everywhere after the fires had gone out on their own.
"What the shell?!" Donnie exclaimed, surprised by the destruction before his eyes.
"Oh my gosh! What happened here?!" Mary exclaimed, horrified by the destruction.
"Professor Garey? Are you okay? Professor?" Donnie called for Garey, but there was no response.
"Olivia? Olivia?! Are you here?! Olivia?! Jack?! Ann?!" Marry called her friends worriedly.
"Garey? Michael? Wayne? Ben?! Billy?! It's us! Donatello and Marietta! Are you guys alright?" Donnie called for their friends as well.
Yet again, no response.
The turtles in purple and turquoise turned the Turtle Cycle's engines off and climbed off the Cycles' backs, then they took out the flashlights from Donnie's duffel bag and started to look for their friends through of the destroyed Shantytown.
The place was dead silent. Too silent for both the turtles' comfort.
While looking around the ruined dump site, the two turtles kept calling for their friends by their names in vain hope if at least some of them had survived and got away from whatever happened in here.
"Professor Garey?"
"Michael?"
"Wayne?"
"Olivia?"
"Jack?"
"Ann?"
"Ben?"
"Billy?"
"Anyone?"
No response, causing the two turtles to get even more worried about our friends, that what could have happened to them.
While looking at what was left from the dump and their friends' destroyed and burned shacks, Mary's eyes then caught something lying on the ground nearby. She narrowed her eyes to take a careful look at it. before the turtle in turquoise suddenly gasped and quickly rushed towards it, catching Donnie by surprise.
"MARY! WAIT!" Donnie called after his big sister, running after her.
Once Mary reached to it what she'd noticed, the sense of dread filled her face.
Olivia's Mary the Turtle doll was lying on the ground, covered with dirt and torn apart from the middle. The doll also appeared having caught fire, because there appeared to be a slightly burnt spot in the left side of its head, its left shoulder and arm.
"No..." Mary muttered, shocked, as she crouched down next to it and picked the remains of the doll from the ground before standing up. Holding the doll's upper part in her left and its lower part in her right hand in front of her, Mary stared down at the ruined doll for a moment with dread and worry for poor Olivia and her family.
"Olivia." Mary said quietly, before the turtle in turquoise closed her eyes and pressed the doll against her chest and stood in silence for a moment, as Donnie was standing behind her shell-back, giving his sister a moment to mourn.(1)
After a moment, Mary then opened her eyes and looked in front of her, as an angered frown crept on her faces. Then, the turtle in turquoise turned back to Donnie.
"Who could have done this?" Mary questioned with the firm voice.
"Beats me, Mary." Donnie replied. "I have no idea."
Donnie and Mary kept searching for a some time, until they came across with some small pools of the red liquid in the ground. The turtles gathered around of the pools and crouched down to have a closer look at them.
"What is that? A blood?" Mary guessed, taking a note to the liquid's color, and instantly starting to fear that something worst, indescribable and bloody had happened to their friends... to Olivia and her family.
"No, not a blood. This thing has too strong and nose-stinging smell to be blood." Donnie stated, before the brainy turtle dipped his finger into the liquid and took some of it on the tip of his finger, before he moved it closer of his nose holes and took single sniff of it. "High-grade hydraulic fluid. This stuff is usually used in the big trucks."
The turtles then continued to investigate more, until they turned their flashlights to the ground and spotted a quite deep and wide grooves in the ground. They led there where the fence of this dump site had been violently smashed to the ground, leaving a big gap in the fence.
"Well, look at that. That's one big tire. Judging from the width of the groove, the tires must reach to our shoulders." Donnie theorized.
"And judging by the depth of the grooves this vehicle must have been both big and heavy. But that's enough to smash down this dump's fences and the shacks with ease, just like our Battle Shell." Mary theorized as well.
"Maybe even more, Mary." Donnie said, before the brainy turtle turned completely to his sister.
"Call the guys. They need to see this."
Mary nodded to her brother and took out her Shell Cell, typed in Leo's number before lifting the Shell Cell to the next of her ear.
After a few beeping, Leo answered to her call.
"Leo. It's Mary. Get the others and come to Garey's Shantytown. NOW. There's something what you guys need to see." Mary said shortly before hanging up.
Later
It didn't take long for the rest of the turtles to show up to Garey's Shantytown... or what was left of it anyway.
Like Donnie and Mary, the rest of the turtles were shocked and speechless by the sight of the destroyed Shantytown... and their friends missing.
"All what we know is that something attacked here... probably a little while after we left here last night." Donnie informed to Leo, who was examining the grooves in the ground.
"We don't know exactly what or who the attacker was, but judging by the depth and width of the grooves and the vastness of the destruction here, it was really big and really dangerous." Mary added.
"I hope they're okay." Mikey said, as he stepped back into the Battle Shell.
"Let's hope so, Mikey, even though this destruction gives me an ominous feeling that something bad may have already happened to them." Arcee said with the concerned voice.
"And to little Olivia." Mary said, looking sadly down at the remains of Mary the Turtle doll in her hands, before she lifted her gaze up and upon the destruction around of them. "Who can be so heartless to do something like this to the little girl like her?"
"Probably some whack-bag, who is asking a serious butt-kicking session, if you ask from me, Mary." Louie theorized.
Leo then spoke up next.
"Don, can you run an internet search for police reports about these disappearances?" Leo asked.
"Already checked, Leo. Nothing on missing homeless." Donnie replied.
"Nothing? Not even a single report of these disappearances? There's gotta be something?" Dom exclaimed in surprise and disbelief.
"I went through all the reports for a several times and I couldn't find anything about the disappearances of the homeless. Nobody's probably noticed them having gone missing, or even cares."Donnie said, finishing the last line with the low, deep and grim voice, hinting the fact that nobody would pay attention to the outcasts of the society.
"They're just watching through of their fingers while SOMEBODY'S SNATCHING OUR BUDDIES?!" Raph exclaimed in anger and disgust towards such of lack of care towards the missing homeless people, squeezing his hands into the fists.
"Yeah! And what about Olivia?! And all the other homeless children who have probably gone missing too! WON'T SOMEBODY THINK OF THE CHILDREN?!" Mary exclaimed, before the turtle in turquoise angrily kicked the nearby empty beer can away with her foot.(2)
"Easy, guys! At least we care for the homeless, both adults and children, and we won't watch this through of our fingers." Arcee said, lifting her hands on Raph's and Mary's shoulders to calm them down.
"Arcee is right. We gotta do something." Dom said with the determined voice.
"Oooh! This is really exciting!" Louie said. "The first time when we turtles can be a top-class turtle-detectives." Louie added with the deep and dramatic voice.
"Though without the official detective-badges and a search warrants." Mikey remarked from inside of the Battle Shell.
"Ugh! Oh, thanks for ruining the mood, Mr. wise guy!" Louie shouted back.
"Alright. Enough of chit-chat." Dom interrupted. "I think we should first think about where we start our investigations or else this will become nothing, I tell you that."
"Dom's right." Mary said, after calming down a bit, before the turtle in turquoise turned to the turtle in blue. "Leo, what's the plan?"
Switching into the leader-role (if he hadn't already), Leo made a quick calculation of the situation before he turned to his family.
"Well, if you guys remember from the last night, Professor Garey did mention that the rumor of this homeless-hunting guy, the Garbageman, or whoever he is, is a common rumor among all the homeless in this town." Leo started.
"And your point is?" Raph questioned.
"Well, at first, we need to gather information about missing homeless and their kidnapper himself before we can take a direct action. And I bet that the other homeless may know something about the missing homeless and this creep himself. So my suggestion is that we hit the streets to question the homeless on the matter. Then we should go through all the information we have gathered in order to find anything useful that can help us to progress in this case." Leo explained. "What do you guys say?"
The turtles, save for Mikey who was doing something inside the Battle Shell, started to think for a moment about Leo's suggestion for their first move in this case. All six turtles exchanged glances with each other for a moment before they all nodded in agreement and turned back to their leader in blue.
"You know what, Leo? I think that's a good start for the investigation." Louie said with a positive tone.
"I think that I'm going to speak for everybody if I say... we're in!" Arcee said positively.
"But if we take the note of the city's vast size and the homeless' innumerable number, it would be wiser that we split up. If we divide the city into eight different areas, one area for each turtle, we'll be able to cover more of the city more easily and get the information we need from eight different directions. What do you say, Leo?" Donnie suggested.
"Fair enough." Leo replied with approval.
"Don't forget one small gap in the whole plan, guys. Professor Garey's people may have got used to see a giant talking and on two legs walking turtles, but that doesn't mean that all the other homeless in this city has." Dom remarked. "And we have no time to explain ourselves to them."
Mary nodded. "Yes, I agree. Then we better disguise ourselves before we go to question the homeless."
Leo nodded. "Alright, guys. Let's get started."
Mikey then emerged out from the Battle Shell, having dressed into the trench coat and inspector hat.
"It's trench coat wearing time!" the turtle in orange announced
All seven turtles turned to look at their younger brother in annoyance. Mikey sheepishly chuckled under of their glares, before the turtle in orange shrugged.
"What?" he asked.
"Is it just me or is his goofball-issue getting even worse?" Raph asked from the others.
"I'm a doctor around here, Raph, so let me think about it." Arcee, playing along, said before the turtle in pink started pretending of thinking for a moment, until... "Hmmmmmm... Yeah. Much worse. It's called a Goofball Syndrome, and in Mikey's case, it's becoming a very serious medical condition number 1." she announced jokingly.
Arcee's joke made both her and Raph to chuckle hilariously.
"Hey!" Mikey shouted, offended.
"Guys! Give Mikey some slack, will ya." Dom interrupted, before turning to their younger sibling with the smile. "I cannot believe I'm gonna say this, but... despite such of bad joke, Mikey actually is for once right about that."
"Why, thanks, Dom." Mikey said happily. "Finally, someone's appreciating of what I can do best."
After Mikey had said that, Dom stared at his younger brother with the dumbfounded look on his face, because that wasn't exactly what he had appreciated his brother for. The turtle in white leaned closer of Arcee to say something to her.
"Mark that in your entries, will ya, Arcee?" he whispered into Arcee's ear hole. "It's definitely getting much worse."
"Note taken." Arcee whispered back.
###
Later than night, the turtles had divided the whole city into eight areas, one per each turtle. Wearing trench coats and inspector hats, the turtles scattered each to their own areas, where they began to look for the homeless and question them about the missing homeless and the rumored homeless-hunter going by name the Garbageman.
In the middle of his own investigation, a disguised Leo had found a couple of homeless laying back in the entrance of the alleyway and stopped to talk to them.
In another part of the city, at the Brooklyn Bridge, Mary had run into a homeless tramp who was spending his night on the rooftop of a house that was build under a bridge. The tramp of course was initially rude and displeased for the sudden wake up and wanted to be left alone, but calmed down a bit after Mary promised to leave him alone once she had asked him some questions first.
In another block, Raph was walking under the street light on the sidewalk, that was filled with the steam coming from the sewers, until the turtle in red halted and excused himself to a couple of homeless, that were walking past him from the opposite direction, claiming that he wanted to exchange a few words with them.
Somewhere else, Louie had entered into another shantytown, which was build into the abandoned and barred warehouse building, where the turtle had gathered the shantytown's homeless residents around of him to the campfire to listen what he had to say.
Meanwhile, Mikey was walking along the sidewalks in the Central Park, until the turtle in orange found a small camp of the homeless people, Mikey then revealed themselves to the homeless, excused his passing through to them and ten sat on the bench in front of them, claiming that he just wanted to talk about some things with them.
In the docks, Arcee had found small group of homeless people hanging on, laughing and drinking. The turtle in pink politely excused herself to the homeless, asking if they had some time for her.
In a different part of the city, Dom had wondered into another dumpsite of the old tires, where he had run into the bunch of homeless kids. The kids were a quite territorial and hostile towards the turtle in white, no doubt due to the rumors of the Garbageman snatching the homeless people during the night. By using his diplomatic skills and claiming to be coming in peace, Dom had barely managed to convince these kids not to attack him and even to establish an uneasy conversation relationship with them, only on the condition to leave the dump immediately once he had said what he has to say... and to bring them some bags of candy as payment. When Dom had protested against these terms, by pointing out that stealing was wrong and that eating the candy wasn't healthy for the kids, the turtle in white was bombarded with the rain of the empty cans thrown by the kids until he was gone.
Elsewhere, Donnie had found from the street a lone homeless, who was trying to keep himself warm by a bin fire.
After finding these homeless, as well as all the earlier ones before them and all the later ones after them, each turtle repeated their reason for the questioning before asking the questions themselves.
Excuse me, but do you have a moment? I dare to assume that you're familiar with the mysterious disappearances of the homeless that had been happened lately. And I have a reason to believe that someone of your acquaintanceship has gone missing lately as well. Well, I'm actually investigating those disappearances and the other homeless' loses, yours including, but I need your help. I have some questions for you to answer. The questions that relates to these disappearances and the one called by the name Garbageman, who's rumored to be hunting you. If you know anything about these disappearances and this Garbageman, can you please tell me everything you know. Okay?
At three o'clock in the morning, the turtles had regrouped back in the lair and they had gathered to the entertainment area.
Each one of them was a pretty exhausted from walking throughout the city and questioning the homeless people about the disappearances of the other homeless and the Garbageman for four-five hours. Louie, Arcee and Raph were lying on the couch, Mary was lying on the sun lounger and Dom was sitting in the armchair.
"Ugh! I'm beat!" Mikey moaned as he collapsed onto the couch.
Leo was the only one to remain on his feet despite his own exhaustion, while Donnie was working at the computers.
"Have you got anything, Donnie?" Leo questioned.
"Well, there's not much new information about the Garbageman. All those who have at least encountered him and barely got away told us that they have seen an over-sized black truck with red headlights and hydraulic arms. But none of them have ever seen this creep's faces, so they couldn't give us an exact description of this guy." Donnie explained.
"What about the homeless?" Dom asked, as he walked beside Donnie and Leo.
"Well, virtually, everyone we talked to knew at least one who had lately disappeared... even some of those kids you encountered, Dom." Donnie added with the chuckle as he stared at his brother, whose moss green skin was filled with some bruises from the impacts of all of that stuff those homeless kids had thrown at him.
Unamused turtle in white glared daggers at Donnie for the reminder of that rather unpleasant experience. "Get to the point already, Donnie!" he snarled.
"Yeah, right! Aside of knowing the missing ones, some of them even knew where their friends were last seen before they went missing. I'll program in a marker for each one."
Donnie then took the green map of New York city on the computer's screen and programmed a marker to each location where the kidnappings had been taken a place.
There was at least fourteen red marks in the map, five of which appeared around of the midtown, but the remaining nine marks appeared near the water at the southern end of the island.
The turtles took the immediate interest of this as they gathered around to have a look.
"Whoa! Looks like most of the action is down by the docks." Mikey stated.
"I'll bet my shell that the Garbageman is there at this very moment." Louie deadpanned.
"Then that's our next stop." Leo declared determinedly.
At 05:30 in the morning,
As soon as the turtles arrived in the harbor, they found a perfect spot where they decided to set up the trap for the Garbageman: An open spot in middle of the warehouse district of the harbor.
The turtles had decided to use Mikey as a bait for the Garbageman to lure him out, if he even was at the docks tonight.
To make it work, Mikey was dressed into the trench coat and hat to hide his identity. And the turtle in orange was positioned in middle of the open, where he pretended to be a homeless keeping himself warm by the bin fire.
The rest of the turtles waited in the Battle Shell that stood in the shadows between the two warehouses. From there, the turtles observed the situation and stayed in standby if the Garbageman took the bait.
Mikey of course wasn't happy of his own role at all.
"Can somebody please explain me why it's always me who has to be the bait, especially when we're hunting the shark?" Mikey asked with a bored voice from his brothers through the headset he had.
"We had Pick-up sticks for it, remember? And you got the shorter one... again. That's why." Louie, who was sitting in the passenger's seat, reminded his brother.
"Yeah, I know, Louie. I lost again. But sometimes I think that someone has deliberately tampered the sticks so that it's always me who gets the shorter one... Again. That's not fair!" Mikey objected.
""Deliberately tampered?!" "Again?!" Are you accusing me for cheating in the game, bro?! How could you?! I'm really hurt by that!" Louie retorted offended, though the turtle in black secretly held two of his fingers crossed behind of his shell-back, hiding his role in tampering the sticks to deliberately make his brother to lose to him and covering it by pretending of being offended by Mikey's accusation.(3)
"Yeah, right." Mikey scoffed sarcastically. "Like I don't know my own brother, Lorenzo. If I didn't know you better, I wouldn't know you have a serious gambling problem. And if you had played fairly, it would have been you who should be out here as a bait, not me."
Raph, who was sitting in the driver's seat, shook his head in annoyance. While he didn't agree with Louie's way in cheating in the games, Mikey's complaining was starting to give him a headache.
"Jeez! What a whiner! I almost wish he would get snatched." Raph complained.
In the backside if the Battle Shell, Leo then turned to Donnie, who was keeping an eye on the monitors. The brainy turtle had hacked into a few surveillance cameras in this part of the district so that they have a wider view of the area, in case the Garbageman doesn't take the bait and appears somewhere else instead.
"Anything, Donnie?" Leo asked.
Donnie shook his head. "Nothing. Absolutely nothing."
Arcee let out a yawn from her mouth. "Two and a half hours of observation and no even a sight of the Garbageman. When that creep is gonna show up?"
"Maybe he's not even here right now." Mary said, as the turtle in turquoise was observing the monitors with Donnie.
"Then I think we're just wasting our time here." Dom said, before the turtle in white let out the yawn as well. "Besides, the morning will soon begin to dawn. Maybe we should call off tonight."
"Agree, Dom." Leo said, before the turtle in blue turned to Donnie. "Donnie, call Mikey back. We're leaving."
Donnie nodded and contacted to Mikey. "Come back, Mikey. We're out of here."
"Sure..." Mikey contacted back, relieved that he no longer needed to act as a bait, until the turtle in orange suddenly began to sound surprised by something "...thing."
Mary was the first one to notice Mikey's voice becoming alarmed and immediately contacted her brother.
"Mikey? What's happening out there?!" the turtle in turquoise questioned.
Louie also spotted something suspicious in Mikey's direction, as the turtle in orange was suddenly hit and surrounded by the red beams of the spotlights.
"What is that?" the turtle in black questioned as he pointed at the spotlight's beam.
"Uh, guys? The shark is here! And he's humming the theme from Jaws!" Mikey reported nervously as he stared at the direction of the red lights.
"Well, I guess that our bait worked after all!" Raph stated.
"HIT IT, RAPH!" Leo ordered.
Raph pressed his foot down on the accelerator and the Battle Shell rocketed itself out from the shadows.
And then, they saw the owner of the red lights. The pitch-black, large and ominous-looking garbage truck, nearly two times larger than the Battle Shell, and it had already extended its hydraulic claws towards Mikey, ready to snatch him off the ground.
"RAM IT, RAPH!" Louie encouraged.
While Raph picked up the pace and drove the Battle Shell to the collision course with the garbage truck, Mary hurried to the side door on the right side of the Battle Shell and slid it open, so that they could pick up Mikey on the way.
"JUMP IN, MIKEY!" the turtle in turquoise called out.
"PREPARE FOR IMPACT!" Raph warned, and everybody inside braced themselves.
Raph rammed the Battle Shell hard against the garbage truck's cab's right side, catching it by surprise and knocking the larger vehicle aside. And as this happened, Mikey hurried to the side door of still moving Battle Shell and jumped inside of the vehicle. And once the turtle in orange was safely inside, Mary slid the door shut.
After being taken by surprise, the garbage truck attempted to make a getaway, but Raph was quickly in hot pursuit and drove the Battle Shell in front of the truck in attempt to cut off its escape. Raph even slowed down to force the garbage truck to stop.
However, instead of stopping, the garbage truck rammed hard against the backside of the Battle Shell. The giant vehicle pushed the Battle Shell forward with its speed, size and mass, and the first impact felt heavily to everybody inside of the Battle Shell, as it first pulled the turtles backward and then pushed the turtles forward, nearly causing them to fly off their feet or seats. The garbage truck kept ramming against the Battle Shell over and over in attempt to wedge the turtles out of its way. The garbage truck started even to beat the Battle Shell's roof with its hydraulic claws, scratching its surface.
"IT'S THE GARBAGE TRUCK! A STINKING GARBAGE TRUCK!" Raph exclaimed, as the turtle in red tried his best to keep the Battle Shell blocking the garbage truck's escape, as the opponent vehicle kept ramming and beating their own.
"The Garbageman drives a garbage truck! Is that any surprise?!" Mikey sarcastically asked as he attempted to take off his trench coat, only to be knocked over to the floor when the Garbage Truck rammed them again.
The Garbage truck then created the distance between of them, before it accelerated to full readings and rammed now even harder against the Battle Shell's backside, knocking everybody off balance inside again.
The garbage truck then moved to the right side of the turtles' vehicle, before it slammed hard against the Battle Shell's right side. The garbage truck used its size, mass and obviously superior strength to force the Battle Shell to the left, until the turtles were on a collision course with several containers that were stacked onto each other.
"WE'RE ON THE COLLISION COURSE WITH THE PILE OF CONTAINERS!" Donnie warned.
"LOOK OUT!" Mary warned.
"RAPH! TO THE RIGHT! TO THE RIGHT!" Leo ordered.
"I CAN'T!" THE GARBAGEMAN CREEP KEEPS ME PINNED TO THE LEFT! I CAN'T DODGE THEM FROM THIS CLOSE!" Raph shouted.
"BRACE YOURSELF!" Louie warned everybody in the backside.
The garbage truck eventually drove away, but it was too late for the Battle Shell to avoid the collision with the containers.
The Battle Shell eventually collided into the containers.
"CRASH!"
The Battle Shell's high speed and its own mass allowed the vehicle to tear its way through of first two containers, splitting them in two, until it stopped to the third container, though it left a quite large dent to the said container's wall. The impact of the collision was also powerful enough to knock all the containers over to the ground.
The impact had also violently thrown all the turtles off their feet and seats to the floor of the Battle Shell, as well as everything else not bolted in.
And after the Battle Shell had finally skidded to stop, Raph and Louie turned to check the others in the backside.
"Everybody okay back there?" Raph asked.
The other turtles were a bit sore and bruised from being thrown over to the floor by the impact of the crash, but they were apparently okay nonetheless.
Groaning in pain, the turtles hurriedly got up to their feet and back on their seats.
"I'm good! Mostly." Dom said.
"In one shell!" Mary said, as the turtle in turquoise helped Arcee up.
"I think so. I just hope that nothing got broken." Mikey whined, groaning in pain.
"We're all fine, but the Garbageman is making a run for it!" Donnie remarked.
"The shell he is!" Raph swore vengefully, and with that, the turtle in red turned back to the steering wheel.
Raph pressed his foot down on the accelerator again, and with the help of some boosters beneath the truck's back doors, the Battle Shell tore its way through of the containers before racing with the high speed after the garbage truck.
Though the Garbageman's truck was fast indeed, it wasn't match for the Battle Shell's speed due to the difference in the size and weight between of two vehicles, and the turtles were slowly but certainly getting close enough to catch him.
However, once they got a really close of the rogue garbage truck, a secret hatch in the rear of the truck opened and revealed something that looked like the pipe of the flamethrower. This was quickly proved correct when it released the fire upon the Battle Shell.
"WHOA! AHHHHHHHH!" Mikey screamed with the girly voice when the flames hit to the wind screens, in next to Louie's left ear hole.
"OW! STOP SCREAMING NEXT TO MY EAR HOLES, MIKEY!" Louie demanded angrily.
"WHAT'S THE MATTER?! WE'RE FRIED TURTLES! FRIED TURTLES, I SAY!" Mikey screamed in panic.
"Relax, scaredy-turtle! Thanks to Donnie, the wind screens are made of the armored glass and our ride is with hundred percent fireproof." Raph remarked, as irritated of Mikey's scream as Louie WAS.
Realizing this as they drove through of fire unharmed, Mikey sheepishly rubbed the back of his head.
"Uh... sorry about that girly scream." Mikey apologized.
Ignoring hios brother, Raph picked up the pace and drove the Battle Shell right next to the garbage truck. The garbage truck attempted to pick up the more pace to lose the turtles, but Raph, growling angrily at the garbage truck's driver's frenzy intent to get away, did his best to keep the Battle Shell next to the black truck.
Mary then grabbed to the speaker.
"GARBAGEMAN, IF THAT'S YOUR NAME! WE HAVE CUT OFF YOUR ESCAPE AND WE HAVE YOU PINNED! PULL OVER AND STOP THE VEHICLE! I REPEAT! PULL OVER AND STOP THE VEHICLE!" the turtle in turquoise demanded through of the speaker.
The garbage truck responded to this by slamming his truck against the Battle Shell's left side, causing the turtles to wobble inside of the Battle Shell.
Mary struggled to maintain her balance after the impact, before the turtle in turquoise returned back to speaker.
"THIS IS YOUR LAST CHANCE, GARBAGEMAN! PULL OVER AND STOP THE VEHICLE! REPEAT: THIS IS THE LAST WARNING! PULL OVER AND STOP THE VEHICLE, OR ELSE WE'RE FORCED TO USE THE RAW FORCE!" Mary warned strictly.
"SO PULL OVER! NOW!" the turtle in turquoise demanded for the last time.
Her demands were responded in the same way, and the another impact knocked Mary off her feet to the floor.
"Now I'm REALLY getting angry!" Raph snarled and moved the Battle Shell to the right, creating the distance between of them and the garbage truck.
"How about taking your own medicine, you crazy maniac?!" the turtle in red snarled towards the garbage truck's cab.
And with that, Raph made a sharp turn to the left and slammed the Battle Shell against the garbage truck's cab's right side once again, forcefully pushing the bigger truck to the left till it hit with the crashing sound against the brick-walls of the passing warehouses.
The sound of the crashing impact against the wall of the warehouses was followed by an ear-splitting screeching sound as the left side of at high-speed driving garbage truck rubbed against a brick-walls as the turtle's Battle Shell kept pinning the truck against it. The bricks in the wall also scratched the garbage truck's left side's metallic surface, leaving bad scratches and dented spots to it and sending from the impacts thousands sparks flying everywhere.
"YEAH! YOU LIKE THAT, FREAK?!" Louie shouted at the garbage truck's cab.
However, a new secret hatch opened in the right side of the garbage truck and out of it emerged another hydraulic arm with two quite large buzzsaws. When the saws were turned on, they reached to the Battle Shell's left side, right to the spot where the monitors were!
Raph saw this happening from his side's side mirrors.
"DONNIE! MARY! LOOK OUT!" the turtle in red warned.
The buzzsaws blades cut their way through of the wall right in front of Donnie and Mary, slicing various monitor screens in half and critically damaging the computer equipment. Leo and Dom managed to pull Donnie and Mary away from the buzzsaws' blades' reach before the turtles in purple and turquoise ended up sliced in two.
"RAPH! PULL OFF! PULL OFF!" Leo Shouted.
Raph turned the wheel hard to the right to get the Battle Shell out of the reach of the hydraulic arm's buzzsaws. The turn was a bit too sharp, as it knocked the other turtles in the backside off their feet and over to the ground once again.
And with the Battle Shell out of its reach, the hydraulic buzzsaw-arm was pulled back into the garbage truck and the truck picked up the pace, getting plenty of head start from the turtles in a short time.
"That homicidal maniac doesn't play fair!" Louie complained angrily.
"Yeah! I don't know about you guys, but I have had enough of this crap!" Raph declared and pressed down the big green button with his fist.
And with that, the bumper in the Battle Shell's bow extended forward and it activated the turbo boosters in the backside as well. With the boosters, the Battle Shell rocketed at double speed after the garbage truck and quickly caught with the truck by ramming with the bumper into its rear end. The impact caused the garbage truck to swirl to left and right uncontrollably.
"YEAH!" The turtles cheered at this.
"Wa-hay!" Donnie cheered.
"Alright!" Mikey cheered.
"Whoo!" Leo whooped.
"Yee-haw!" Arcee cheered.
"You got him now!" Dom congratulated.
"WOO HOO! MEAN IN GREEN HALLELUJAH!" Louie cried, happy to see the garbage truck swirling uncontrollably.
"Well done, brother!" Mary congratulated, earning from Raph the pleased smirk.
"You liked that?" Raph questioned before attempting to reach another button. "Well, you're gonna love this one!"
However, before he could reach to the button and press it, Donnie grabbed him from his shoulder to get his attention.
"May I, bro?" Donnie requested.
"Be my guess." Raph said, allowing Donnie to have the honor.
Donnie then pressed the particular button what Raph was about to press, opening the small six-barreled missile launcher in the rooftop of the Battle Shell, that launched a three-six yellow missiles after the garbage truck. They instantly hit to the vehicle and the truck was covered by the explosions, flames and smoke.
"BULLSEYE!" Arcee cheered.
"YEAH, TAKE THAT FREAK!" Mary exclaimed, happy to see the garbage truck getting the serious hit.
"YEAH, HA HA HAA! WE GOT IT NOW!" Mikey cheered as well.
However, the cheering faces quickly dropped off and the turtles gasped in surprise and disbelief when the garbage truck, nearly unaffected and undamaged from the missile strike, emerged from the flames and smoke and continued its escape.
"You were saying, bro?" Louie said sarcastically.
"Are we fighting the garbage truck here OR A FRICKING TANK?!" Dom exclaimed in shock.
"I would say "armored truck" rather than tank, Dom" Donnie replied/corrected.
"Whatever!" Dom snapped.
"Well, one thing is sure, we're in need of the bigger and stronger missiles." Mikey stated.
The turtles kept pursuing the Garbageman, managing to keep up with the garbage truck for a some time, until the garbage truck unleashed another trick upon the turtles. The truck spilled unexpectedly from its backside the reddish-purple oil to the ground and in front of the Battle Shell.
This was not left unnoticed by Raph.
"HANG ON, GUYS! WE GOT A MAJOR OIL SLICKAGE DEAD AHEAD!" Raph shouted in warning.
Everybody hurried back to their seats and fastened the seat belts.
Raph then hit the brakes in an attempt to stop the battle shell before they would get caught by onto the road spilled trail of oil. However, the Battle Shell's speed was too much for its tires and they skidded along the asphalt into the oil. Everything turned into worse when they did, as the skidding along the asphalt suddenly turned into a sliding on the slippy oil and the Battle Shell began to spin uncontrollably around as it slid forward along the oil trail. Raph did everything he could to get Battle Shell back under control, but his attempts were futile.
The Battle Shell's rapid and uncontrollable spinning on the oil got Mikey to feel dizzy, covering his mouth and then holding from his stomach as if he was getting sick from this spinning.
"Whoa! Uh... uh... uh... if... if you guys for-forgot what w-we had for a-a dinner. I... uh... I-I think I'm ab-about to remind you." the turtle in orange moaned before rushing to hurl to somewhere.
"HEY! DON'T YOU DARE TO HURL IN MY SHELL, MIKEY!" Donnie yelled angrily.
"Hopefully we got a bucket for that this time, because I definitely do not want to clean up HIS mess again!" Dom deadpanned, disgusted by the memory of having to clean up Mikey's messes when the younger brother didn't get to the bucket in time the last time he threw up.
The Battle Shell kept the rapid and uncontrollable spinning and skating along the oil trail until it reached to the docks, where it was about to fall off the docks and into the water bellow.
Donnie quickly went through of his damaged computer equipment to see what was still in functional. And when he found one...
"EVERYBODY, HOLD ON!" Donnie warned and pressed one of the button, which launched the three-clawed grappling hook from underneath of the Battle Shell.
The grappling hook managed to find and grab from the wooden pole, stopping the Battle Shell just before it could drive off the boardwalk and fall into the water. A sudden stop caused the Battle Shell to jolt forward quite violently, causing the turtles to shout in alarm as they were thrown onto the Battle Shell's floor again, before the front of the vehicle tilted sharply downwards and its bow sank below the surface.
Then, the Battle Shell went still like having stopped in the wall.
The truck was left dangling by the grabbling hook at a acute angle on the edge of the broadwalk, with its bow in the water, but otherwise the vehicle was still intact.
The turtles then opened the back doors and jumped out of the dangling vehicle and onto the boardwalk.
"Great! We lost the bad guy!" Dom snarled, seeing no sign of the garbage truck anywhere.
"Not yet, Dom! He's over there and he's driving towards the end of the boardwalk!" Mikey said as he pointed at the garbage truck, that was indeed driving towards the end of the boardwalk.
The truck didn't seem to even slow down its pace as it was getting closer and closer the end of the boardwalk.. The truck eventually drove off the end of the boardwalk and fell into the water.
The turtles hurried to the end of the boardwalk, before they led out the triumphant cheer, waving their hands up in the air.
"YEAH! WOO-HOO! ALRIGHT! HA-HAA! OH YEAH!" The turtles cheered, believing that they had won.
Mikey then started to swing his hips from side to another. "T-M-N-T! What you get is what you see!"
The other turtles turned to look at Mikey in a dead silence.
"Jeez, bro. When are you gonna grow up?" Dom questioned.
"Yeah. You know seriously, you're only embarrassing yourself." Raph deadpanned.
Under of his brothers and sisters' glances, Mikey took a sheepish look on his face as he lowered his head down a bit.
The turtles then moved closer to the edge of the boardwalk, looking down at the garbage truck as it sunk beneath the waves.
"Now... let's see who crawls out of this thing." Leo said.
"He better to hurry up, because the garbage truck is sinking at the good pace to the bottom of the river." Mary stated.
"Unless this creep is a suicidal-type." Louie deadpanned.
"I hope not, because I got a few things to discuss with this creep." Raph stated.
Suddenly, the bright red light emerged from the water. They probably came from the garbage truck's headlights, hinting that the truck was still functional even underwater.
The turtles looked down to the water and the red lights, surprised.
"What the shell?" Leo exclaimed, baffled.
"That thing is still functional? Even underwater?" Donnie said in disbelief.
"But how? That thing ain't submarine!" Arcee stated.
"Well, now at least we know that we're not dealing with an ordinary garbage truck." Louie said.
The lights then started to slowly but certainly move forward, hinting that the garbage truck was actually driving along the sea bed away from the docks, leaving the turtles behind and unable to follow it further.
"Where is it going now?" Mikey questioned, as the turtles followed with their eyes the garbage truck's lights as they headed to the open water.
Mary lifted her head up to look at what seemed to be the truck's destination.
"There. That thing is heading for that island standing in middle of the river." the turtle in turquoise said, pointing at the island dead ahead.
"Why is it driving there?" Arcee questioned.
Donnie then spotted something on the island's beach, that looked some kind of signboard. The brainy turtle then took the binoculars from his duffel back, which allowed him to have a closer look of the signboard.
The picture in the signboard described a three black triangles, over of which was the red-yellow striped arch. And above of the triangles was the garbage can, which was throwing the junk out of it and over the triangles.
Donnie slowly lowered down the binoculars, though he kept his eyes on the sign.
"I think I know the company that has such a sign." Donnie informed to the others.

TRIVIA
1) = Marietta finding Mary the Turtle doll she gave to Olivia from the ruins of the shantytown and then pressing it against her chest is the reference to the Mulan film, where Mulan, disguised as Ping, finds the discarded doll from the snow while searching for the survivors from the burned village and presses it against her own chest.
2) = Marietta's line here "Won't somebody think of the children." is one of the catchphrases used by Helen Lovejoy in the Simpsons series. However, the difference here is that Marietta actually means it what she's saying out of disgust that Olivia and many other homeless children have been kidnapped, and maybe even hurt, and nobody cares nothing about it, while Helen says that line about various things that she hypocritically believes are bad for the children, even though some of those things has nothing to do with the children, but are rather against her own views/interests/beliefs and is more likely meant to only rally the other people of Springfield to her side against it.
3) = According to Mikey, Louie has a serious gambling problem, because of which he relies often on cheating in the games by tampering them on purpose so that he doesn't lose to others.
