In the village of Konoha all you could see was destruction the kyuubi caused, as shinobi scavenged the area trying to find any survivors. Among all the destruction was an alone crying newborn seeming that he knew that his parents were killed. The baby had yellow hair slowly forming spikes like his father, 3 whisker-like birth marks was on each cheek, a seal was painted on the small newborn stomach before slowly fading away, after the tears stop flowing, he opened his eyes to reveal the sapphire blue eyes glistened in the moonlight making his eye sparkle. The curious eyes gazed upon the destruction to find a chunin finding and quickly rushed towards him.

"Over here!" the chunin shouted to the others alerting them about the baby.

Meanwhile, in a private meeting room,

"What happened to the fourth?" The chief of Clan Nara queried, looking at Hokage, "Not that I have anything against you, lord third," the clan leader said politely, "but is the fourth is in the hospital." everyone could see the ancient Hokage's grief in his eyes. Shikaku's eyes widened as he realized what happened to lord fourth, he was quite familiar with the expression, during the 3rd great shinobi world war he'd seen it on the faces of the shinobi who lost their friends teammates in the line of fire he could never forget that face it was forever ingrained into his mind.

"The Fourth died sealing the Kyuubi," the elderly man announced the heartbreak clear in is voice as he was close with his successor.

"Where did he seal the Kyuubi?" Danzo immediately asked wanting to know where the demon was sealed in, Sarutobi eyes narrowed and he was about to speak but soon after the whole civilian council started to ask the same question, with a hand he silenced them.

"He sealed Kyuubi into a baby called Naruto Uzumaki," He responded deciding to use his mother's maiden name so that he wouldn't get associated with his father making him safer.

As soon as his name was told civilian council was in a frenzy, demanding Naruto's execution, just as he didn't want to happened. They were saying 'Kill the Demon,' or 'He's Weak now, Throw him out of the community.' When Sarutobi heard this accusation, he unleashed his killing intent, making the whole civilian council to experience visions of their own death, even a few of the head clans were having difficulty breathing.

"SILENCE, you are not the hokage I am," ordered Hiruzen, and the whole council became quiet. He gazed at every face on the council with a disappointed expression.

"Minato intended Naruto to be portrayed as a hero, not a monster; he's the one who prevents the Kyuubi from escaping and killing us all," explains Hiruzen hopping that their opinion on him would be better.

Some civilian council members wanted to speak out against it, but when they saw Lord Third's killing intent slowly oozing out, they restrained their mouth.

"Who will be Hokage now?" Danzo asked curiously.

"I will retake the cap and my position as third Hokage," he said. No one on the council objected to this, this time, other than Danzo, who seemed annoyed as he was thinking that individuals like Hiruzen made Konoha weak, and he wanted to be the next Hokage.

"Who are his parents, Lord Third?" a council member asked.

Sarutobi had decided not to tell them because he was scared the knowledge would spread and the other four great shinobi villages would soon discover Minato had a son. Iwa would go to any extent to murder him in retaliation for what The Fourth did to them during their effort of trying to seize the leaf village.

With a sad looking face, Sarutobi answered. "I'm not sure, but I believe his parents were killed during the fight against Kyuubi."

Everyone remained silent, however Shikaku Nara had already worked out who his parents were, Sarutobi noted. The council however was thinking about how they could injure the demon the fact that the youngster lacked parents aided the civilians and also the fact that they didn't have any parents to keep an eye on him made things simpler. The elders were suspicious but remained silent however Danzo, on the other hand, understood precisely who it was and realized the youngster could be transformed into a legitimate weapon and useful to Konoha, just as Kumo had done with their Jinchuuriki.

Danzo spoke up putting the focus on him " Hokage-sama , I want you to give me the boy, I can teach him the ways of a shinobi and turn him into a powerful wea... Village ninja," Danzo proposed hoping that he would get a powerful weapon.

Hiruzen eyes narrowed and released lots of killer intent. "No, he shall be reared at the orphanage just like any other person" The Hokage declared.

Danzo was left with a scowl he thought that there had to be more methods to make him a weapon.

Some clans asked for Naruto to be adopted by them and be inherited into a clan which were rejected by Hiruzen "Please accept my apologies, but the request has been refused. Naruto cannot be given to any clan. He will grow up in an orphanage. He'll start at the academy when he's six years old like any other."

"You would let the Demon to enter the Academy and become strong..." shouted a civic council member suddenly not wanting the demon to get stronger until his head was cut off and dropped onto the floor by an Anbu.

The Hokage was furious because Naruto had been referred to as a demon. "Now does anyone else have a problem against my orders." The Hokage released his killer intent paused for a few seconds to check whether anybody else was willing to comment on his judgment before releasing his KI. Due to their silence, the Hokage shifted the topic.

"Now that we've finished this. I'd want to talk about what we lost and how much it will cost to reconstruct." The Hokage chose to change the subject.
