Just another workday until everything was but a train wreck
|First story written by me
First some context
The oc has seen several anime. But I will only give partial names of said anime(don't need copyright shenanigans). I don't own anything(including my own soul, Google has that one). The writing patterns are as follows:
"speech"
"thoughts"
[voice of the world](skills)
[great sage]
I'm absolute shit for summaries but here he is.
After dying William finds himself in the world of rimuru. With his knowledge of medieval times he navigates the world. But shadowy forces want to end his 'stay' prematurely. Now let's get started. M for language, my own paranoia and maybe some reproduction later on|
Chapter one: forest of dreams
"Just one more hour and then I can finally go fucking home!" William thought. He has for the last twelve years been stuck in the magazine cataloguing everything. His colleagues always just dumped the stuff on the ground for him to sort and store. He HATED his job but he couldn't get another. When it was finally time he checked out and stepped into the bus to go home. As always he fell asleep within seconds after sitting down. It would be an hour anyway. After an unknown amount of time I shook awake when he heard a loud bang on his left but before he could even open his eyes he found himself weirdly drifting.
[soul reincarnation confirmed]
"what?..." he thought 'That sounded almost like that slime anime'
[wish to reincarnated as a slime noted]
"no nonononoo not a shitty slime. I would like a….." he thought as he imagined it was just a dream. 'a fairy.'
[notice reincarnation as a slime overwritten. Now attempting Fairy.]
[error race not found.]
"WHAT?!" Williams thought 'so I can't be that fairy like king from seven deadly…'
[Notice request received. Attempting creation of race from soul's memory.]
[creation successful]
[unique racial skill firstborn acquired]
"what? firstborn? Sounds like I'm the only fairy. Shit that means I need to reproduce or my race is fucked. I mean, I would need a skill like the Amazonians for that to even work."
[ notice request received unique skill Amazon received]
"heh thought that would work. Then again I would like that I would never be bound by any rules again"
[notice extra skill rulebreaker acquired]
"nice! Wait, extra? Wow, that's broken. I wonder on what branch of yggdrasill I would end up with. Or is it like that game with a heart of the world? And could you really have a soul mate? I would like to have those answers…."
[notice extra skill heart of the world acquired. Extra skill soulbound acquired. Ultimate skill branch of the world acquired.
"Those sound absolutely amazing but soulbound sounds a little bit underwhelming… ohwel."
[notice soul arriving at destination]
And when I woke up. I thought I would be in "the" cave but instead I woke up in a forest. "fitting I suppose. After all, I am a fairy" I said in a way to feminine voice. "huh? My voice sounds weird… oh right, the fairies had helium-like voices in that anime. I tried to remember my skills and quickly remembered rulebreaker. I suppose I should quickly check my appearance before naming myself. If I really was in Rimaru's world, naming yourself was a big nono. I ran but quickly my feet were not even on the ground anymore. "oh right fairy" I said to myself
I flew to the nearest puddle and checked my face and I was SHOCKED when I looked slightly down at my chest… It looked like I had breasts. But that couldn't be true. I was a male, right. RIGHT? Taking a pause I checked my pants quickly. And I quickly found out I was indeed a woman as I accidentally slipped onto my private parts. I yelped as I quickly removed my fingers. Looking around I saw it was spring. Trees what looked like cherry trees were in full bloom. And the air was thick with the smell of honey. I hovered back from the puddle and stood on the ground. Thinking for a minute on what to do, I quickly just thought it would be a good time to name myself… but the fact that I was a female fairy instead of a male one made the name Hale(in honour of a certain fairy king) not usable. Then a thought hit me like a brick. If i was the only fairy and the race was made from my memory then i should have a fairy spear. I reached out with my hand and a beautiful blood red spear with a deepblack trim and grass green hilt came to me. It looked like a rose with its flower backwards and thinned/sharpened. I looked at it with atmaration. "Well enough time wasted" I said to myself. Looking around for the last time. Taking a deep sigh. "Well here goes nothing. Use rulebreaker. Naming myself. I shall henceforth be known as Ellenoir Lightweaver'' and suddenly I felt soooo dizzy. I dropped to the ground and could only hear the following
[notice this creature shall be known by Ellinoir Lightweaver]
[notice the creature known as Ellinoir Lightweaver shall now evol…..]
After I opened my eyes it was suddenly late summer. I felt groggy and the atmosphere felt weird. As if the air had less pressure. I quickly woke up as I felt the ground shaking. I looked around and saw…. Nothing?... "That is weird" I said when I noticed something. My spear was gone. I was certain that I fell asleep next to it. Summoning my spear. it came rushing towards me, well half of it anyway the lower half gone. After inspecting the break in the hilt I was shocked that it had globber and bitemarks on it. It was EATEN?! "What would EAT a spear" I thought. But then as quickly as asked the answer came. Orcs. A LOT of orcs. "SHIIIIIT!" I yelled if only to give away my position. They quickly saw me and came marching. They were chanting something about becoming one with whatever they eat. I quickly remembered that they must have the skill starved. I quickly flew into the sky and saw that the orcs that ate my spear didn't look sickly. Almost as if what they ate disagreed with them. I quickly remembered that my spear must be regenerating inside them making them nauseous . then I figured that I should have the intrinsic(race specific) skill disaster. So I shouted "status promotion" and aimed at the sickly orcs. The nausea quickly became too much for them and they actually threw up. "Gross." I whined while the parts of my spear came and realined themselves until my spear was whole again. I quickly checked if I could count the amount of orcs, but there seemed no end to them. [notice extra skill magic sence acquired]. I remembered that I could more quickly count using magic sense. Using it I was shocked to learn that there were a whopping 7500 orcs here at my best guess, on a 'scouting' mission. Chesti…. I quickly closed my mouth. "This wasn't that spear…." I thought as I came on a nice new name for my spear. "Primrose, yeah. That sounds nice." I thought. I quickly turned to the orcs and shouted "primrose form 2, increase". And with that I felt a small amount of my magic leave me and primrose forming around a hundred sharp little rosepin the length of a hammer. I moved my hands down, folding them together. When my arms were fully stretched, I unfolded my hands and turned them flat outward before turning my wrists in a circular motion. I saw the needles, as that was what I was going to call them from this point forward, following my fingertips. "So that's how it works." I thought. The orcs fell by the dozens but I knew that that wouldn't be remotely fast enough. Then something odd happened. The orcs stopped in their tracks and dropped like flies. I stood, or technically hovered, looking down not being able to make sence of it. "What the…. How the…. Why….." I said. Then it hit me. "Rimuru must have defeated Geld! Of course!" I said with a sigh of relief. I flew down and landed. The second my feet stood on the ground a green flash appeared and I saw what looked like Treyni. "Hi." I said smiling while I tilted my head slightly to the left. A quick shiver ran down my spine when I remembered that dryads are protectors and that you only see them if they deem you a threat or the solution to said threat. "Shit" I said out loud. Quickly covering my mouth out of shame I turned away. "Since when am I shy?" I thought."Did I do something wrong?" I asked timidly much to my own chagrin. "No, not necessarily…" the dryad said curiously, almost cute. "Then why are you here?" I asked. "To ask the same question actually." She said suddenly, more happy as if a weight was lifted off her shoulders. "What do you mean? I think I slept here for…." I fell silent at the end not knowing how long I had slept. "You didn't sleep" the dryad said "you were dead, yet somehow now very much alive."
