Fifteen years have passed since the accident. Now, eight turtles, six brothers and two sisters, born as mutants in the sewers and trained as ninjas by a rat, are forced to leave their destroyed underground home and take the first step into a surface world where they face many adventures and meet new friends and foes, until they meet their toughest opponent ever, The Shredder.

45. The Shredder Strikes, Part 2, Part 5

Guest: That was the very first time when I put the turtles to go so far to actually killing people right away. But hey, my OC guard who sadistically tortured Olivia in front of her parents pushed Marietta beyond of her limits to hold herself back from killing the guard and simply just knocking him out. The turtles and the Garbageman will meet each other twice, not just once in my story. And there will be more gory moments, I guarantee it.

CT311998: Yeah, that's one (though I accidentally left that one unmentioned in the Trivia-area, while there was another movie reference hidden around of Louie's and Arcee's fake fight). I've long wanted to make Splinter and Tatsu to meet each other in the similar manner how Splinter and the Shredder properly introduced themselves to each other at the rooftop during the final battle.

animegamefanatic: You were very close of finding the well-hidden movie reference from one of the DreamWorks films. Louie's and Arcee's fake fight, you see, was based on the second fake fight between Tulio and Miguel from the Road of El Dorado they used to trick Tzekel-Khan. I kinda felt it was hilarious to add the similar fake fight between Louie and Arcee to trick Tatsu to lower his guard down. I also made it so that Arcee did the most harder and thus hurting backhands and punches while Louie did only the lighter and less hurting flicks and slaps.

And that's how I made Artemisia's character: she despises the killing, bloodshed and carnage greatly and, as a doctor of the team, she wants nothing more than to save lives and be merciful towards the people rather than destroy the lives and be a mindless killer like Tatsu, Hun or the Shredder. Even here, at the time of war with the Foot, her own intolerance (and her partial tolerance) towards killing is being pushed to its limits when her brothers and sister, and even Master Splinter himself, do kill Foot Ninjas, though only to survive and to protect each other rather than out of sheer malice like the Shredder does.

In another part of the town, Leo was running down an alley in a hurry, heading towards an entrance that led to the streets. The turtle in blue made momentary stops at the entrances of every side alley he passed and quickly scanned them through for any signs of his missing family members. When they were not found even after two attempts, Leo continued his journey disappointed.

As he was about to pass another side alley, which was blocked by the wooden fence, a figure jumped over the fence and towards Leo from his right.

However, as the figure hit to the ground on his feet right next to Leo, he didn't even flinch from the figure's sudden appearance but kept running towards the alleyway indifferently, even if the figure quickly caught up with the turtle in blue and started to run down the alley alongside him.

"Anything yet, sis?!" Leo asked bethween his breaths from the figure next to him, who was revealed to be none else but Mary.

"Nothing, again!" Mary panted frustratedly. "You?"

"No luck here neither!" Leo growled. "We better head for another block! This one is starting to get swarmed with Foot!"

"No kidding!" Mary agreed. "I almost had out there one close call with one of the Shredder's Foot patrols! They almost found me, if it wasn't for some alley cat that got their attention away from my hiding spot by knocking over the trash can!"

"Then let's not give them another chance to find us! Come on!" Leo said, as he and Mary were about to exit from the alley onto the streets.

However, that was the mistake from the turtles in blue and turquoise, because once they existed from the alley to the streets and turned to the left from the corner, they accidentally bumped - out of their usual turtle luck - right into first two Foot Ninja of the group of ten Foot Ninja, knocking them onto their backs to the street and causing the turtles to fall on their knees and over the ninjas.

Surprised, Leo and Mary looked down at the ninjas they'd bumped into and knocked down, before they both slowly looked up at the ten ninjas that were standing right in front of them, staring at the two of them with the wide eyes and looking as much surprised by this sudden coincidence as the turtles.

"Do you guys really have to be everywhere?!" Mary suddenly let out, sounding irritated. "It's already hard enough for us to be a ninjas without you guys roaming in every corner of this whole town!"

At the same time, Leo was about to stand up to his feet, until he saw something in the corner of his right eye and turned to look at it, only to let out a dreaded gasp, before he grit his teeth together in anger.

"Speaking of "roaming in every corner", Mary." Leo growled as he tapped Mary's shell.

Mary turned her head around and let out the gasp of her own when she saw what Leo meant: From the other side of the street came a fresh group of twelve Foot Ninja, who menacingly approached them, holding swords or staves in their hands. Leo and Mary then turned their attentions to the first group they'd pumbed into and saw them drawing out their swords or taking out the pair of Kamas and started to approach them as well.

Leo and Mary quickly backed away from the ninjas as they kept approaching them, until their attentions was caught by something that caused them to look up to the rooftop of the buildings next to them and the ninjas. There was the third group of twenty ninjas standing on the edges of the rooftop, peering down at them. Many were carrying swords, though some had Naginata-spears, Kusarigamas and one even had Katar-like daggers.

Amongst of those on the rooftop stood a slender yet athletic ninja with a woman-like features, who had dressed into more detailed ninja carb with V-neckline with no sleeves (which left her with the black bandages wrapped arms and neck exposed) and wore the tight yellow-eyed ninja-mask over her head. She was wearing over her ninja carb an armored vest and wrist guards in her wrists. She had a decoratively crafted twin Katanas, that were sheathed in the X-shaped scabbards, strapped in her back, as well as twin Tanto-swords sheathed in the scabbards strapped behind of her waist. And finally, her Foot Clan symbols were the color of gold than blood-red.

It was Jennika!

Jennika stared down at the turtles in blue and turquoise as coldly as her soldiers did, while the turtles stared up at her, surprised at the sight of her unique appearance compared to the other ninjas and upon realizing that she was a woman.

"A Kunoichi?! The Shredder has Kunoichis in his ranks?!" Mary said, almost gulping in worry, as she had once read somewhere that female ninjas can be even more skilled, faster and deadlier warriors than male ninjas, regarding their thin builds and thus their lighteness and agility comparable to the male ninjas. Even though she herself was Kunoichi, it had took a lot of effort from her to bring several Foot Soldiers down in the past. But Kunoichi that is part of the Foot Clan could be too tough piece to bite.

Eventually, the Foot's Kunoichi raised her arm up and pointed it at the turtles on the streets and then gave her soldiers a harsh command.

"GET THEM!"

"Any ideas, Leo?" Mary asked, as the ninjas were starting to get too close for comfort.

"Just one. RUN!" Leo exclaimed.

Both turtles in blue and turquoise turned to run down the street and away from the small army of Foot, which took off after them soon after the turtles started running. Half of the ninjas with Jennika then hopped off the rooftop down to the streets to join their comrades on the ground, while some of them followed the Foot Kunoichi. as she took off running along the rooftops, following the fleeing turtles from above. While running, Mary looked over her shoulder up at the rooftop and saw Jennika gaining on them with such of running speed that nearly left her impressed.

"Wow! This one's pretty fast! She has almost caught us up!"

And that was true. Jennika, who was running in still and sharply forward leaning pose, with her arms spread wide like the wings of the large bird of prey, was running along the edges of the rooftops right above of the turtles! Only three fastest ninjas were capable to keep up with her.

Then suddenly, Jennika leaped face-first off the edge of the rooftop and fell down in cross-like pose, until she grabbed from the streetlight and swung herself in an arc under it and forward before she let go of the street light. As she flew through the air and over the turtles' heads, she curled herself in the ball while rolling backwards during of her whole flight. And then, as she was about to fly past of the next street light from under it, Jennika uncurled herself and reached out her right had towards the street light and swung herself in arch to above of it - and spun herself around that her backside was turned to the turtles as she flew over the street light - and then she fell off the light and landed into a crouched-down position - leaning onto her bent right leg and extending her other leg to the left while taking support from the ground with her left hand and finally raising her right hand in the air - to the street, right to the front of Leo and Mary, blocking their escape way.

"WOW!" Mary gasped in surprise as she and Leo halted to stop like into the wall after Jennika had landed in front of them to the street, preventing them from running.

Their briefly considered idea to fight this Kunoichi was quickly thwarted when ten Foot Ninja landed from the rooftop around of Jennika to back her up, with four ninjas in front of them taking out the Shurikens and preparing to throw them at the turtles in blue and turquoise!

However, much to their luck, their were standing right in front of another entrance to the dark alleyway. Thinking quickly, as the ninjas were just about to throw their throwing stars at them, Leo grabbed his sister by her right wrist.

"IN HERE! QUICKLY!" he let out before he sprinted into the alley, dragging Mary there with him.

"WOW!" Mary yelped in surprise as she was dragged by her arm into the alley.

The turtles in blue and turquoise managed to get into the alley just in time when the four ninjas had already thrown their Shurikens at them, missing Mary's shell with the inch - though one of the Shurikens did manage to leave the small scratch in there - before they hit the fall and got stuck there!

Leo and Mary then ran down the alleyway, heading to the other side to escape from the ninjas as they poured into the alley. However, Leo and Mary then halted to stop when they realized to their horror that this alleyway was leading straight into the dead end! And to make the matters even worse to them, there was no fire-escape on neither walls and there was there was no the manhole cover in the ground, through of which they would've get out of here. The walls also were smooth with no windows or anything what they could've used to climb along them.

They were trapped!

"We're trapped!" Mary gasped with dread!

The turtles then turned around to face the Foot, as they filled nearly the entire alleyway with their numbers and approached them slowly but menacingly, puthing the turtles against the wall behind their shell-backs. Jennika was standing in front of her men, glaring at the turtles coldly from under of her mask, before she unsheathed her long shining white Katanas and took them in both hands, ready to fight the turtles in the lead of her own small army.

Realizing that they were cornered and outnumbered but not yet defeated, Leo gritted his teeth angrily and pulled out his swords "Then we'll run from them no more! We'll make our stand in here or die with honor!" he snarled, holding his swords up.

Mary looked at her brother for a moment with the slight uncertainty. She of course wasn't afraid to die in the battle, but she was more worried about their missing brothers and sister, especially her sweet little sister, and that they won't be much of the help for them if they both died in here.

However, knowing that there was no other way out of this alley except to fight their way through of the Foot if they could, Mary gave her brother a determined nod and then turned to the Foot, drawing out her borrowed master Toshi Kurahawa's sword from behind of her shell, and both of them readied themselves to the fight.

However, before Jennika and the Foot could attack them, another figure suddenly landed from the rooftop in middle of the ninjas.

It was John! And His sudden appearance to the scene made the ninjas gasp in surprise, as they scattered around and then turned to face him, surrounding the man. Even Leo and Mary snapped out of their fight-ready poses and stared with their eyes wide at this newcomer in surprise.

John gave both turtles a reassuring smile before he drew out his sword, the Katana, from under his trench coat and readied himself. His Katana had a long silver-shiny steel blade with the very weird-looking hilt. It's pommel was crafted into a weird-looking head, from which stretched out a multiple tentacle-like thingies that wrapped around of the sword's hilt, partially similar like with the Sword of Tengu. This weapon did not have a guard between the blade and hilt, but in its place seemed to be a diamond-shaped grayish-blue pattern.(1)

And then, Leo's and Mary's mouths dropped open in amazement when John's Katana's blade suddenly lit into a bright blue light, which illuminated the whole dark alley.

"Oh, great! A new player on the board." Mary said, or almost groaned. "And who is this lightsaber-wielding Jedi-guy anyway?"(2)

Elsewhere, Donnie, Mikey and Dom had reached to another alley, which happened to be the same alley where they had faced off both the Purple Dragons and the Foot Ninjas for the first time during of their first trip on the surface. The turtles in orange, white and purple had most likely thought that if the Purple Dragons' old hideout was still abandoned after their scuffle a way back, they could take refuge from there... at least for now until they have thought a new plan to find their missing family members or then just on to the next stop after making sure that this block was clear from the Foot patrols.

The three turtles then entered the alley and headed towards the door at the loading dock, breathing hard from the exhaustion and slightly whining in pain from Mikey's busted ankle and Dom's sprained arm.

However, before they could reach the door, a four figures then jumped down onto their path in the shadows, blocking their way.

"Oh, no! Not again!" Dom whined, as they had nearly reached to the limits of their strength while dodging and hiding from the Foot Patrols during of their way here.

Donnie then put Mikey down and to lean against the loading dock.

"Look after him." Donnie told to Dom, who nodded to his brainy brother and knelt down next to Mikey, but not before takingwith his good hand one of his Tonfas out, in case if there were more than just four enemies and that he would be forced to make the stand alongside Donnie, despite having just one good arm and one Tonfa at ready.

The brainy turtle took out his Bo-staff and stepped forward, ready to fight whoever was hiding in the shadows. "I know that you're there! Show yourselves!" Donnie demanded.

"WOWOWOW! Easy Donnie! Friendlies!" Arcee's voice exclaimed in hurry as the four figures stepped out of the shadows, revealing themselves as Raph, Louie, Arcee and Master Splinter.

"Ah!" Donnie sighed happily and lowered his weapon. "Raph! Louie! Arcee! You're okay!"

Dom then jumped up from Mikey's side and walked over to his brainy brother's side. "And Master Splinter! Am I glad to see you, guys."

"Well, you guys kept so much noise that we heard you two miles away." Raph explained. "And you call yourself a ninja!" he added with his usual gruffy attitude.

"Same old Raph." Dom sighed, shaking his head for a moment before he turned to Louie. The turtle in white's eyes went wide when he noticed Louie's right arm in the very bad shape and that it was carried in the homemade sling.

"Louie! Your arm!" Dom gasped. "What happened to your arm, bro!"

"Shredder." was Louie's only reply, which he hoped was enough of explonation to explain to his brother how he had got his arm busted in the first place.

"He has suffered Isolated Ulnar Shaft Fracture, I think, thanks to the Shredder." Arcee cleared. "If he is lucky, it could be treated simply in outpatients with plaster casts or arm braces. Otherwise it might require the surgical treatment."

Arcee then noticed Dom's own arm, that was both swollen and the skin color from the swollen area had taken the darker tone from his regular moss-green color.

"What about your arm, Dom? What happened to it? Shredder again?" Arcee questioned as she went into a doctor mode and began to inspect his brother's injury, which she found out to be a quite nasty-looking sprain.

"No. Not him. It just got sprained when me, Donnie and Mikey escaped from the fire at the Shredder's warehouse. It has been quite sore ever since." Dom explained.

"And it has been like this ever since, without the sling to keep it still?! Why in the shell you didn't come think to put your hand in the sling, bro?!" Arcee questioned, exasperated. "When your arm gets either sprained or fractured, you need to get it as immobilized as possible! You should've know that, Dom!"

"Hey! You try to think of everything at once while trying to at least stay alive in this fricking cat-and-mouse game in the town swarmed with Foot Soldiers!" Dom shot back, irritated. "Besides, all the attention went not only just to survival, but also to Mikey after he got his bloody ankle busted!"

This information caught Raph's attention a way before it did with Arcee's own.

"Speaking of Mikey, how is he?" Raph asked worriedly as he turned to Mikey, who was still leading against the loading dock's wall.

Arcee paid a look at Mikey's ankle, around of which Donnie had earlier tied the stockings to keep it together.

"Stockings?" Arcee questioned in puzzlement, before she turned to Donnie. "You wrapped up Mikey's ankle with the stockings?"

Donnie gave his sister a shrug. "It was the best I could do at that point."

The turtle in orange hanged his head down and moaned miserably in pain and exhaustion. Raph immediately crouched down in front of his little brother.

"Mikey, are you okay?!" Raph asked frantically.

"Got a bad hit. I don't know if I can make it." Mikey moaned, weakly shaking his head, while his eyes started to slowly close.

"Where you got hit, Mikey?! How bad?!" Raph asked again, looking over his little brother, frantically searching for a severe injuries.

Mikey then weakly lifted his head up, looking up at his brother.

"Raph? Is that you? I can... I can hear your voice, but... but I can't see you. The lights... the lights are turning out. It's all... all is going dark. No. You can't be Raph. He... he ain't even here. You... you must tell Raph... Tell Raph." Mikey moaned, reaching out to his brother with his hand to be sure that it was him.

Raph was starting to panic out of his shell. "I'm right here, Mikey... I-I-I-I'm right next to you." the turtle in red assured worriedly, landing his hand over his youngest brother shoulder. "Stay with me, little brother! Stay with me! Don't you dare to die in my arms! Don't you dare!"

"Please, tell Raph; that he's... he's always been... my... my best buddy." Mikey moaned, until he opened his eyes full wide and his miserable look turned into a gleeful smirk. "AND A BIG CHEESE HEAD!"

Raph looked at his little brother with confused look, until Mikey bursted into a gleeful laughter.

"BLAAH! I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU ACTUALLY FELL FOR THAT!" Mikey laughed, before he raised the back of his right hand over his forehead, acting dramatic. "Oh, the lights are going out. You can't be Raphael. That blockhead isn't even here. Haa, ha, haa!"

Raph growled angrily through of his gritted teeth, not liking Mikey's joke at all.

"That wasn't funny, Mikey!" Raph growled in embarrassment and in anger for Mikey making fun of him. "Now if I don't see that stupid smirk out of your face in five seconds, I'LL TURN YOUR LIGHTS OUT FOR REAL, WISE GUY!" Raph exclaimed furiously as he raised his clenched fist up, threatening to knock the light out of Mikey's eyes for real.(3)

However, before he could, Arcee quickly interfered and grabbed from Raph's raised arm, preventing him from punching Mikey in the face.

"Raph! Remember the rule, "We don't beat our wounded", right?!" Arcee reprimanded strictly.(4)

"Well, beating up some annoying shell-for-brains as a sweet payback doesn't count!" Raph snarled, trying to pull his arm free so that he could resume his intent to pummel Mikey, but Arcee wouldn't let go of it.

It wasn't until Splinter interfered.

"Raphael! Michelangelo! Artemisia! Quiet down!" Splinter hissed. "If we could hear you, so could the Foot Ninja. We must move more quickly than this."

"No offense, Sensei, but it's easy for you to say." Dom said while Arcee was tying the ice pack over Dom's arm's swollen area before putting the turtle in white's arm into a sling as well. "We couldn't move as quickly and stealthily as usual due to having to carry Mikey around and keep constantly moving to avoid being detected."

"Well don't worry about it anymore, bro." Raph said with a teasing smirk on his face. "We can always leave Mr. dead weight behind." he suggested while pointing his right thumb at Mikey, referring him as "Mr. dead weight".

"Hey! Not funny!" Mikey exclaimed, offended.

"Maybe we do not need to." Arcee said, turning to Donnie after she had finished tying the ends of the cloth, that served as Dom's homemade sling for his sprained arm, together into a knot. "Donnie? I think that we need the Battle Shell, don't you think?"

Donnie nodded and began to search for the control remote of the Battle Shell from his belt's pockets, while Arcee turned her attention to Mikey and his ankle.

"Okay, Mikey, let's take a look at your ankle and see how it is." the turtle in pink said professionally and knelt down in front of her little brother to inspect his ankle.

However, Donnie couldn't find the remote from his belt's pockets and started to panic. "Ugh! Nuts!" he cursed.

"What is it now, brainiac?" Louie asked

"I... I didn't bring the remote with me. I must have forgotten it onto my lab's table." the turtle in purple said awkwardly. "Or maybe I could get..."

He was cut short when Splinter pulled the remote out of his Kimono. "Here." he said, holding it out for Donnie.

Donnie grinned happily. "Perfecto, Sensei! Looks like everything's finally going in our way!" he cheered.

Though grinning at this though for a short time, Louie then turned his attention to the entrance of the alleyway... until his smile dropped off his face.

"Uh... I think you spoke a bit too soon, Donnie." the turtle in black said, tapping Donnie in the shoulder for couple times with his good hand before he pointed with it at the entrance of the alley. "It looks more like to me that..."

Donnie turned to the entrance of the alley, and gulped when he saw that the entrance was blocked by thirty Foot Ninja, all starting at them and holding their weapons up.

"Yeah, I get your point, bro." Donnie said nervously, cutting his brother short. "We're surrounded."

"No kidding." Dom added, pointing behind of them. "We're about to get attacked from two fronts!"

The turtles and Splinter turned around to see Dom's point. There in the end of the alleyway, the loading dock was swarming with the Foot Ninja, another thirty.

As she was still inspecting Mikey's ankle, Arcee turned her head first to the ninjas at the entrance of the alley and then to the ones at the end of the alley, and groaned in sheer frustration. "Ugh! Seriously?! You guys really picked the most inappropriate timing here!" the turtle in pink snapped exasperatedly.

The ninjas then started to advance towards the turles from all sides, getting ready to attack. Upcoming inevitable fight forced Arcee to stop inspecting Mikey's ankle and she jumped back on her feet, taking out her Tessens.

"Okay! Here's how we'll do this! Donnie, you take the end of the alley!" Arcee said to Donnie while pointing at the ninjas at the end of the alley, before she turned to Raph. "Raph! You take the entrance!" she told him, pointing at the entrance of the alley. "And I'll cover you from the middle!"

Raph and Donnie nodded, pulling out their weapons and getting ready to fight.

"Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey! Arcee?! What about us?!" Louie called, gesturing with his good hand at himself, Mikey, and Dom.

"You three stay there, behind the defensive line! We'll got this!" Arcee told them over of her shoulder.

"WHAT?!" Louie exclaimed in bewilderment. "You're benching us just because me and Dom got only one good arm, and Mikey got one good leg?!

"Call it what you want, bro! But you three have already been too much through with your injuries enough for one night! You stay right there and look after Mikey! These are the doctor's orders!" Arcee repeated herself strictly.

"No!" Louie refused stubbornly and was about to take the step towards the ninjas to fight them. "One arm or not, there ain't way I'm gonna miss this one!"

"You stay right there, or you'll be sorry, bro!" Arcee warned.

However, before he could take more than just one step forward and towards the enemy, Dom immediately jumped next to his brother and held him back with his good arm, earning an annoyed glare from him, though Dom didn't mind about it. "Louie! Just for once! Listen to Arcee!" the turtle in white demanded.

"That's right. It's always you taking somebody else's side against me to just to tick me off with your non-stop naggy-naggy-nag-nag-nag stuff." Louie said sarcastically. "And I always though that we one-handed guys stick together." he added, before he very reluctantly backed off.

"Here they come!" Raph called as the ninjas charged to attack.

"Master Splinter!" Donnie called as he turned to his master. "Use that remote! Get the Battle Shell here!" Donnie instructed.

As the first four ninjas from Donnie's side leaped in to attack, Donnie spun his Bo-staff momentarily before he leaped at the ninjas. Arcee then charged forward and towards the ninjas that attacked them from her side, opening her own Tessens. Raph then charged towards the ninjas at the entrance, leaving Master Splinter to handle the remote.

Donnie struck his Bo-staff to the ground and polevaulted himself upwards and towards the ninjas, fly kicking the first two off the air with his feet and sending them flying onto the loading dock's roof. Donnie then landed on his feet to the ground, with two ninjas on each side of him. They circled Donnie for a moment, before they lunged at him and swung their swords at the turtle in purple from both sides. However, Donnie knelt down under of their attacks, before he lifted his staff over his head when the ninjas attempted to bring their swords down on him, blocking their attacks. Donnie then jumped up to his feet, pushing the ninjas back, before he swung his staff first at the ninja on his right then at the one on his left, whacking one in the knuckles and other one in the wrist, causing them groan in pain and drop their swords from their hands. Donnie then spun his staff over his head for a moment, before he poked the ninja on his right hard in the forehead with one end of his weapon before he turned to the second ninja on his left and whacked him across the chest, knocking them both out and down.

Meanwhile, Master Splinter looked down at the remote in his hand. He eyed the various buttons in it, thinking which one calls the Battle Shell. Then he pressed one button down.

In the warehouse.

Inside the warehouse were the Battle Shell was parked, the smoke came out of the vehicle's mufflers and the headlights came up briefly. Beside that, nothing happened.

In the alleyway.

"Hmm." Splinter muttered, noticing that nothing did happened after pressing the first button and he went back in eyeing the buttons in thought.

Arcee meanwhile charged at the ninjas that were charging at her, before she dived towards the first one, who had raised his sword over his head and ready to strike, and kicked him in the guts, knocking him down and out. Upon landing on her feet, Arcee crouched down as the second ninja tried to hit her with his staff but missed. Spinning around, Arcee jumped up and swung her Tessens towards the ninja's staff, slicing it into three useless pieces. The turtle in pink then spun around again and kicked with her left foot the ninja in the chest, knocking him against the wall. Third ninja then charged at her with his arms and swords crossed in front of her, before he pulled his arms back and swung his swords at Arcee to chop off her head, but Arcee bowed under the attack and somersaulted forward, kicking the ninja in the guts with both feet and sent him flying into some trash cans, knocking them over.

Back with Splinter. Muttering in thought, Splinter pressed other button.

In the warehouse.

This time, the Battle Shell did move. But instead of heading towards the doors of the warehouse, the large vehicle drove backwards until it crached into the bottom of the overturned car in the back of the warehouse.

In the alleyway.

When nothing did happen again, Splinter put his finger in the side of his nose, thinking this time harder which button is the right one.

At the entrance of the alley, Raph charged at the three approaching ninjas. The turtle in red first clashed his Sais with the first one's Naginata when the ninja raised his weapon up to defend himself against Raph's attack. However, Raph pulled his left Sai back and swung it past the ninja's defense at his throat, slitting it open. The ninja gasped hoarshely and dropped his weapon down, allowing Raph to finish him off by striking him in the chest with the hilt of his Sai, knocking him down. Raph then held his left Sai up to block the second ninja's attack with the sword, before he spun around and kicked him in the chest with his right foot, knocking him off his feet and flat on his back. Third one then moved in from behind and attempted to split the back of Raph's head open with Ono-axe. However, Raph crossed his Sais as he raised them over his head to block the attack, before the turtle in red forcibly threw the ninja over him and sent him flying into fourth ninja that was charging at him from the front, knocking them both over.

However, a couple ninjas managed to sneak past Raph and charged towards Dom. The turtle in white gasped when he spotted the ninjas coming towards him and raised his his good hand's Tonfa over his head out of instincts, blocking the ninjas attack. However, one of them pulled his weapon back and kicked Dom in the chest, knocking him onto his butt to the ground. The ninjas approached him slowly but menacingly, before they raised their weapons up for the strike.

"Hey!" Arcee gasped when she saw her brother in trouble. "Those are my patients!"

However, before the turtle in pink could interfere, a new ninja leaped in the air and attacked her from above, with his sword raised over to strike. However, Arcee fell backwards and flat onto her shell to the ground, raising her feet upwards, allowing the ninja land onto the bottoms of her feet.

"And they are OFF LIMITS!" the turtle in pink declared as she somersaulted backwards and kicked the ninja with her feet away from her, sending him flying towards the ninjas threatening Dom and knocking the against the loading dock, knocking them all out.

Back with Splinter. After thinking over the choices, Splinter pressed another button.

In the warehouse.

The manhole cover on the Battle Shell's roof then flipped open, before it rose up in the air by the telescope shaft and the feed horn-like stick came out from middle of it, revealing it to be a small satellite disguised as a manhole cover. Then the feed horn was pulled back in and the telescope shaft lowered the satellite down. However, the satellite then rose back up, pushed the feed horn out and then pulled it back in, and then it came down. Then it flipped up and down, up and down, up and down, and then it stopped altogether.

In the alleyway.

Splinter groaned in irritation, which was starting to stir inside of him when nothing happened again, no matter how hard he tried.

Elsewhere, Raph slashed his Sais furiously at two Foot Ninja, pushing them back at each fierce attack. One ninja tried to slash Raph to his left side with his sword, but his attack was blocked and he was forced to retreat when Raph slashed his right Sai at his faces, nearly stabbing them. The second ninja tried to hit Raph with his Kama from above, but Raph blocked the attack with his right Sai and slashed his left Sai at the ninja's chest twice, forcing him to retreat. Eventually, both ninjas lunged forward, with the first ninja trying to run the turtle in red through with his sword and the second ninja trying to disembowel him with his Kama. However, they both missed when Raph jumped over their attacks and landed in between of them, stabbing his Sais into their backs and knocking them flat onto their stomachs to the ground, while he himself landed in crouched down position between of them.

Raph then looked up and saw that a new ninja was charging towards him with the weapon that looked like the double-bladed sword. Without pulling his Sais out of the ninjas' backs, Raph stood up and prepared himself for this ninja's attack. The ninja tried first to slash Raph with his double-bladed weapon twice, but Raph leaned backwards and out of the first strike's way before he bowed his head down and out of the second strike's way. The ninja then tried to bring his weapon's one blade down on Raph, but he quickly jumped to the right and out of the blade's way. Ninja then attempted to stab him in the guts, but Raph somersaulted sideways under of the attack, getting back on his feet in the ninja's right side. Raph then rammed into the ninja's unprotected side and bashed him against the loading dock's wall, causing the ninja to drop his weapon. However, not satisfied, Raph grabbed from the ninja's head and started to bash it against one of the loading dock's support beam so many times that the ninja was already knocked out before the turtle in red stopped after eleventh time and let the ninja to fall over unconscious.

Back with Splinter. Master Splinter pressed down another button... though the pick was made out of random than out of hard thinking this time.

In the warehouse.

The Battle Shell's sidedoors in both sides began to slid open and then slid close again. Then back open and then close again. Open and close, open and close, open and close. And along with the side doors, the truck's back doors flew open and then slammed shut. Then they flew open again and slammed shut. Open and shut, open and shut, open and shut.

In the alleyway.

"Stupid device." Splinter grumbled in frustration and began to press the buttons randomingly.

Donnie then leaped towards three Foot Ninja and landed crouched down behind of two. The turtle in purple then swung his staff at the back of one ninja's legs, sweeping them off from under him and causing him to fall onto his back to the then turned to the second ninja armed with Kama, which the ninja tried to bring down on Donnie, but Donnie easily knocked the weapon out of the ninja's hand before he bashed him in the chest with the haft of his staff, pushing the ninja back hard and causing him to fall flat on his back to the ground. Donnie then turned to the third ninja as he charged at him with the raised sword and raised his Bo up to block his weapon. Donnie then spun around and whacked the ninja in the chest with his shell. The force of the blow sent ninja flying straight into one of the support beams of the loading dock's roof, on which was standing three ninjas and two others under it, causing it to snap from the middle upin impact. Unsupported roof then collapsed under the ninjas' weight and caused it to collapse onto two ninjas, knocking them all out.

"Hah! Five with one! Not bad, eh?" Donnie boasted proudly.

Arcee then landed on her feet next to the brainy turtle. "But what's taking with the Battle Shell?! Shouldn't it be here already?!" the turtle in pink questioned.

Donnie turned to Master Splinter, and his smile dropped from his face when he noticed/realized that Splinter was still struggling to get the Battle Shell here, as he didn't know which button to press.

However, the turtles in purple and pink's attentions were quickly taken back to the fight when they were confronted by new ninjas: One ninja tried to strike Donnie with the Kama, but Donnie blocked the weapon with his Bo before he kicked him in the stomach, knocking the ninja back. Arcee blocked her ninja's sword with her Tessens, before she bowed her head down out of the ninja's horizontal swing at her head. Arcee then stood up and kicked the ninja in the chest with her right foot, knocking him back. Another ninja then tried to sneak on Arcee from behind when her shell was turned, only for Raph to land onto the ninja's back and pin him onto his stomach to the ground. Raph then got the next ninja's sword's blade captured between of his Sai's side guards, before he twisted his weapons violently, causing the sword to break into pieces.

Back with Splinter. The old rat master grumbled in frustration as he pressed down another button.

In the warehouse.

The Battle Shell's six-holed rocket launcher came up from the roof above of the backdoors - with some smoke coming out from some of the barrels - before it then closed itself.

In the alleyway.

Nothing, so Splinter started once more to press the buttons randomingly and almost impatiently.

Meanwhile, Louie watched the battle unfold from the sidelines with Dom and Mikey, a rather envious look on his face. The turtle in black didn't like it at all that Raph, Donnie and Arcee were having all the fun of bashing the Foot Ninja and he just had to watch.

However, his attention was turned to the end of the alley when he saw something in the corner of his left eye.

Louie then saw that three Foot Ninja had managed to get past Donnie and were slowly approaching Master Splinter from behind, while the old rat master's attention was with the remote of the Battle Shell. Two of them were holding Kusarigamas and they were spinning their weapon's chains wildly, while the third ninja in front of them was holding the pair of sickle-like Kamas with the shorter handles but more crescent-shaped blades.

Louie narrowed his eyes upon realizing the ninjas' evil intentions and immediately jumped up from his spot next to Mikey, ignoring Dom when the turtle in white, who hadn't realized the danger that threatened his master, tried to call Louie to come back, at the same time as the two Kusarigama-ninjas threw their chains at the Master Splinter.

Before the chains weights could hit Master Splinter in the back, Louie jumped in between them and his father, holding up his good left arm. The turtle in black managed to capture the chains by allowing them to wrap themselves partially around his arm, leaving only the weighted ends and a good length of the chains unwrapped.

"Two can play that game, assholes!" Louie snarled, as he grabbed from the unwrapped chains and pulled them to his right, before the turtle in black swung the chains' weights hard at the two ninjas, hitting both ninjas in the heads. The weights' bashed the ninjas' heads in at the left temples of each, breaking their skulls with the sickening "crack!" and causing the blood to splash in the air. Afterwards the ninjas, with the huge bleeding dents at their left temples, fell onto their sides to the ground.

However, the ninja with the sickle-kamas had jumped over Louie's counter-attack and was falling towards the turtle in black with his Kamas raised up. Noticing him incoming - but a second too late - Louie quickly raised his left arm to cover himself from the attack, but the ninja's Kamas ended up slicing through the chains - and the blades' tips even left two scratchs in Louie's arm in the process, causing the turtle in black grit his teeth in pain.

However, the ninja's Sickle-Kamas didn't slice all the chains. Instead, their tips ended up to hook the intact chains still wrapped around Louie's arm and then dragged the turtle in black off his feet to the ground.

"WOAH!" Louie yelped in surprise until he hit face-first in the asphalt, which left a new nasty bruise in the beak of his nose. Louie then tried to get up from the ground, but before he could, the Sickle-Kama ninja came and kicked Louie in the fate, causing the turtle in red to roll few times away from him.

Back with Splinter. Unaware of what was happening behind of his back, Splinter proceed to press another button.

In the warehouse.

Two hatches opened in the back corners of the Battle Shell's roof, out of which came two missiles. The missile in the right side started to move up and down as if it was trying to aim at the moving target, before the missile went back into the Battle Shell. The left side's missile, however, got activated and launched off. The missile went through of the gap of the boarded window, knocking off two boards, and flew away from the warehouse and into the alleyway at the opposite side of the street. Once it reached to the other end of the alley, it flew out to the street and hit to the unfortunate for the night closed newsstand.

"KA-BOOM!"

The whole stand was engulfed into the fiery explosion, which caused the countless number of burning newspapers and the pieces of the stand to fly all around of the street.

In the alleyway.

Dom, Mikey and Splinter lifted their heads up to the air once they heard the echo of the explosion in the far distance.

"What was that?" Mikey asked.

"Sounded like the explosion." Dom replied, still looking in the air.

Master Splinter, however, paid no further attention to this distraction and returned his attention to the remote control. "Which one is the right one?!" the old rat master growled in annoyance and started to press the buttons again.

Behind of his back, the ninja then approached Louie while holding his Kamas in the air, ready to finish the turtle in black off. However, before he could reach close enough to kill him, Louie happened to notice the discarded Ninjato-sword lying in the ground in front of him. Its blade had snapped in two from the middle, but the broken blade still had a usable sharp tip.

Louie looked at it for a moment in surprise and in though, before he turned to look at the ninja as he was charging towards him to attack him and then back to the broken blade. With quick thinking, the turtle in black quickly grabbed to the hilt of the blade and picked it off the ground.

As the ninja was standing next to him and raised his right hand's Sickle-Kamas up to bring its blade's tip in the back of Louie's neck or in top of his head, Louie raised his sword up and stabbed its broken blade through of the ninja's right foot, nailing it to the ground.(5)

"AGH!" the ninja groaned in agony and dropped his Kamas to the ground, allowing Louie to pick up one of them.

"Well, that leg looks pretty ruined now. Let me take care of it." Louie said and simply cut the ninja's leg off with his own Kama. Ninja cried in agony after losing his leg and fell over to the ground in front of Louie.

The turtle in black, however, had no intent to wait for the ninja to climb back up, if he ever even could have done that with one leg. Instead, the turtle in black raised his Kama above his head before he brought it down hard, plunging the weapon's tip deep into the ninja's head, killing him instantly.

Back with Splinter. Clearly annoyed by these setbacks and his patience with the remote being at an end, Master Splinter pressed down a few buttons more.

In the warehouse.

The turbo boosters extended from the side of the back of the Battle Shell. However, instead of activating and boosting the vehicle forward - which would've rockected the Battle Shell crashing through of the warehouse's doors, or in the worse case, through of the wall - the smoke came out of their mufflers, as well as from the mufflers of the boosters beneath of the backdoors.

In the alleyway.

Finally, Splinter had enough with this.

"DONATELLO! HERE!" Splinter called for his son and Donnie immediately jumped beside his master and Splinter held out the remote towards him. "Let's switch roles: I will fight, you will drive."

After Donnie had taken the remote from Splinter's hand, Splinter picked up his staff and drew out his late master's Katana out of its scabbard. With his staff in his right and his sword in his left hand, the old rat master jumped in the fight and started to battle the remaining Foot with Raph and Arcee.

Splinter landed in the middle of four Foot Ninja, two of which he defeated by split-kicking them away before he hit on his feet to the ground. Then he swung his staff backwards at the third ninja behind his back as the ninja was about to raise his sword up to strike. The staff's head whacked the ninja hard in his right shoulder, causing the ninja to let out the shout in pain and dropped his sword to the ground, allowing Splinter to turn around and whack him in the head with his staff. Splinter then turned around to the fourth ninja with Kama in his hand and whacked him in the face with his staff before Splinter kicked him hard in the stomach with his left foot. Fifth Foot Ninja then jumped at him and attempted to bring his twin swords down on the old rat master, but Splinter raised his staff up to hold back the swords, before he first slashed the ninja in the thighs with his Katana and then he slashed across his stomach, mortally wounding him. Splinter then turned to the sixth incoming ninja with the sword, but before he could attack him, Splinter hit him hard in the back of his hand with his staff, causing the ninja yelp in pain and to drop his sword to the ground. Splinter swept his legs off from under him with his Katana, causing the ninja to fall flat on his back to the ground, and Splinter finished him by stabbing him hard in the stomach with one end of his staff. The ninja let out the gasp when the strike landed onto his stomach and then curled up in the ground while clutching to his stomach with his arms, groaning in pain.

The seventh ninja then attacked Splinter from behind of his right shoulder and managed to caught him off guard by knocking his Katana off his hand with his own sword. The ninja then spun around and sent the roundhouse kick at Splinter's head with his right foot, but Splinter, though momentarily stunned by such of sneak attack, bowed his head down out of the kick's way. The ninja then tried to slash Splinter with his sword, but Splinter countered the attack with his own staff and knocked the sword out of his hand with one strong swing. The ninja then lunged forward and grabbed from Splinter's staff, starting to wrestle with the old rat master for it, pulling it back and forward and trying to rip it out of each others' grasps. Splinter was then approached from behind of his back by two more Foot Ninja, eighth one one armed with the pair of Kamas and ninth one with Naginata, with the intent to land a fatal blow in Splinter's back when his back was turned and the attention elsewhere. However, sending their presence and predicting their intentions, Splinter skillfully grabbed to his sword woth his tail and swung it at the ninjas one at the time when they tried to strike him in the back, blocking their attempted strikes. Splinter then flipped backwards, ripping his staff out of the ninja's hands before he swung his sword with his tail at the ninja from down to upwards, leaving a bleeding gash running across his chest just beneath of his Foot Symbol, fatally wounding him and knocking him off his feet and flat on his his back to the ground. After slashing the ninja, Splinter's tail let go of the sword's hilt and tossed it into the air.

Eighth ninja then attacked Splinter with his Kamas raised over his head, but the old rat master raised his staff up with both hands to block the ninja's Kamas. After the ninja's Kamas clashed with Splinter's staff, the old rat master released his left hand from the staff and reached it upwards, catching his falling Katana from the air. Splinter then brought his Katana down onto the ninja's arms, chopping his both hands off by the wrists, catching the ninja by surprise and causing him to let out the cry of shock and pain. Splinter then spun around and swung his tail at the ninja's right leg, knocking it back and causing the ninja to fall onto one knee to the ground. And as he looked up, Splinter had already raised his sword up and then he brought it down on him again, cutting his head clean off, killing him. As ninth ninja armed with Naginata was about to attack him, Splinter turned to him and slashed his Katana at him with three upwards going swing, cutting with the first swing his Naginata's haft in half and leaving with the second and third swings two bloody gashes crossing each other over the ninja's chest - and ironically slicing the Foot Clan symbol into four quarters - before the old rat master stabbed his sword right through the ninja's heart. Splinter then let go of the Katana, leaving it stuck in the mortally wounded ninja's chest for a moment, and then started to spin his staff with both hands as the tenth ninja with the pair of short Ninjato-swords approached him from behind, before he turned to the ninja and whacked him in the chest with his staff, knocking him back. Switching the staff into his left hand, Splinter reached out to the Katana still stuck in the ninth ninja's chest and pulled it out, letting the ninja fall over to the ground.

Then four new ninjas, one armed with staff, one Butterfly swords, one single Ninjato-sword and one Katar-like dagger, surrounded Splinter and attempted to charge at Splinter from all four directions in attempt to overwhelm him. However, when they were close enough, Splinter spun himself around before he jumped into the air and kicked the staff-ninja in front of him in the face with his left foot, then whacked the ninja with Katar-like dagger in the head with his staff, then slashed his Katana at the ninja with the Butterfly swords, slitting his throat, and finally whipped his tail at the last ninja with the sword behind his back, knocking all four ninjas off their feet and sending them flat onto their backs t the ground at the same time.

Dom, Mikey and Louie, along with Raph and Arcee who backed away from the fight, watched from the sidelines their father fighting and obliterating what's left of the Foot with less to no effort and without even breaking the sweat. Some of the turtles, like Raph and Louie, watched their father's fighting with admiration, the others, like Mikey, Dom and Donnie, watched with their mouths open in disbelief and amazement. Arcee, however, was the only turtle who watched her father's fight with nothing but a noticeable discomfort, slightly wincing and grimacing every time when Splinter brutally killed the Foot Ninja he was battling with.

Splinter then stabbed his Katana through of a new ninja, causing its bloody tip to peek out of the ninja's back before it was pulled back in and out of the ninja's chest, afterwards Splinter kicked the ninja away from him and over to the ground with his foot. Another ninja armed with twin Kamas tried then to sneak up on Splinter from behind so that he could kill him with his weapons. But as he raised his Kamas over his head and prepared to bring them down on Splinter, the old rat master spun around and brought his Katana and staff up and crossed them above his head, blocking the ninja's Kamas but also capturing them in the process. Splinter then pulled his weapon down, pulling the ninja over his head at the same time and tossed him away. Splinter then tossed his Katana into his left hand and his staff into his right hand, before he swung his staff at the new ninja in his right, who attempted to bring his sword down on him. After blocking the attack with his staff, Splinter thursted his Katana forward and stabbed the ninja in the stomach, causing the groan in anguish escape the ninja's mouth before he bent over in pain. Splinter then pulled his Katana out of the ninja before bowing his head down in time as another ninja came from his left and swung his own sword horizontally at the old rat master's head with intent to decapitate him, only to miss. Afterwards, Splinter slashed the ninja in the stomach with his Katana., cutting it open, causing the ninja to groan in agony, before the old rat master whacked him in the head wth his staff, knocking him away.

Splinter then turned to the remaining ninjas and started hitting and/or slashing them alternately with both his staff and his Katana.

(WHACK!) "AH!" (SLASH!) "OHH!" (WHACK!) "AGH!" (SLASH!) "ARGH!" (WHACK!) "AHH!" (SLASH!) "UGH!" (WHACK!) "OUCH!" (SLASH!) "NO!" (WHACK!) "OW!" (SLASH!) "UHH!" (WHACK!) "YEOW!" (SLASH!) "AH-OW!"

Within the 15 seconds, the fight was over and Splinter was left standing triumphantly in middle of the black mattress of about thirty Foot Ninja, who lied in the ground either dead or unconscious, while moaning in pain. Splinter then held his staff over his head and pointing his blood-stained Katana forward, looking satisfied with his work.

"Master Splinter... That was awesome!" Louie cheered.

Yeah, Sensei!" Raph cheered, voicing his agreement with his brother." You dominate the field of butt-kicking!"

Splinter, however, turned to his children, looking more alarmed than cheerful for his victory. "We may have won the fight, my children, but not the whole war. The whole area is still swarming with the Foot Ninja and I'm afraid that more will be already on their way here." Splinter said.

"He's right." Dom agreed. "We need to get out of here and fast."

"Not to worry, guys." Donnie said as he held the Battle Shell's remote control up in front of his face. "Free taxi ride ordered and on the way here." the turtle in purple added and pressed the red button in the remote.

In the warehouse.

This time, after Donnie had pressed the right button, the doors of the warehouse opened and the Battle Shell's dashed out of the warehouse at fast speed and hit on the street, heading straight to the location of the source of the signal.

Back in the alley, where Leo and Mary had been cornered by the Foot, the turtles in blue and turquoise kept their eyes fixed at John as he swas still standing in middle of the ring of the Foot Soldiers while holding up his glowing sword.

However, after getting over their initial surprise of this new guy's sudden appearance to the scene and his strange glowing sword, Leo and Mary glared at him with their teeth gritted and holding their swords up and at ready. The turtles didn't know was John either friend or enemy, but after what happened with Saki, neither turtle wanted to put their trust in strangers anymore (or at least not for a while), so they readied themselves to fight John if needed to.

John gritted his own teeth as he readied himself. And then, with the blink of the eye, he charged into battle

John first slashed his glowing sword at the four ninjas armed with swords, a staff and a Naginata, slicing clean through of the swords of two ninjas, the staff of the third ninja, and the Naginata of the fourth ninja, leaving them holding a useless swords and the chopped pieces of their weapons' destroyed hafts A short hissing sound was heard afterwards when the glowing sword's blade cut clean through of the swords of two ninjas, the staff of the third ninja, and the Naginata of the fourth ninja, keaving them holding their now useless swords and the chopped pieces of their weapons destroyed hafts. When you look closely, you could see the the edges of the sliced parts of the enemy ninja's weapons slightly smoking, as the burning heat from John's sword seared both the swords' metal and the hafts wood, and even glowing a fiery yellowish orange glow like embers in a campfire. John then proceeded to swiftly slash his sword across of each disarmed ninja's chest one by one, before John did the same with two new ninjas that tried to attack him from behind his back and his left flank, but who never got a chance to strike him before John had cut them down as well, His glowing sword's blade left a long and deadly gashes in the ninjas' chests, each one having the black, burned and smoking edges, causing the air of the alleyway to be filled with the awful smell of the burned flesh. John then turned to the seventh ninja, but instead of slicing his swords in half, he cut off the ninjas' arms from the wrists, causing the ninja let out a cry in shock and pain as he looked briefly down at his burning and smoking stumps, before John cut his head clean off his shoulders.(1)

John then punched with his right fist eighth ninja in the chest so hard that it forced much of the air out of the ninja's lungs, knocking him down and out. Then he brough up his right leg and kicked the ninth attacking ninja right in the face, rocketing his head back and sending him flying against the wall, knocking the ninja out cold upon impact before he slumped over to the ground. Then John turned to the tenth attacking ninja and roundhouse-kicked him in the face too with his left foot, knocking the ninja off his feet and causing him to spin in the air before he fell with the thud ono his side to the ground, stunned, disoriented and ad the edge of his consciousnes. Eleventh ninja attempted to take out some Shurikens to throw them at John, but Jogn reached him faster and backhanded him across the face with his left hand, causing the ninja's head to rocket violently to his right before he fell on his stomach to the ground.

Both turtles held their mouths open in disbelief as they saw John taking out the Foot so easily, until their attentions turned back to the Foot as Jennika and four other Foot Ninja turned back to them, holding their swords ready to fight with the turtles. Gritting their teeth angrily, Leo and Mary proceeded to ready themselves to fight the rest of the Foot.

However, as they locked their eyes with Jennika, who was standing in front of the ninjas, both turtles in blue and turquoise were caught by surprise when they saw Jennika atually, and literally, winking her eye at them reassuringly.

And if that didn't surprise the turtles, then Jennika's next action definitely did. The Foot Kunoichi put her left Katana away and took out four Shurikens. Then she spun around back to the fight between her soldiers and John, but not before she swung her remaining right sword around in the wide arch, cutting all four flanking ninjas' heads clean off their shoulders with one swing, before she threw her Shurikens at the ninjas behind her. Two Shurikens hit two ninjas in the chest, third hit one ninja in the throat and fourth one ninja in between of his eyes, swiftly killing them all. Taking back her left Katana, Jennika then sprint towards the fight, spinning her swords around a bit before she swung them and her arms cross in front of her, slashing two Foot Ninja across their sides, and then she swung her Katanas and arms wide, slashing another two Foot Ninja, including one in front of her, across their chests. As the ninjas fell dead over their sides to the ground, and the fifth fell onto his knees, Jennika hopped onto the ninja's shoulder and boosted herself up into the air, flipping into upside down position while spinning around, during of which she crossed her arms in front of her before spreading them wide, swinging her Katanas at four Foot Ninja and decapitated all of them at once.

The Foot was so taken by surprise of one of their own, their own leader, suddenly turning on them like that that almost none of them couldn't react in time before he was slain either by John or Jennika they were not the only ones who were left shocked by this sudden turn of event. From the sidelines, Leo and Mary stared at Jennika with eyes wide and mouths hangong open in stunned disbelief... never having thought that one Foot Ninja would simply turn against her own and fight side by side of the newly appeared guy with the glowing sword.

However, two ninjas with Naginatas had managed to get over their initial shock and they charged at Jennika, holding their Naginatas up and ready to impale the traitorous Kunoichi through her chest. However, after she hit on her feet to the ground, Jennika started to spin her Katanas rapidly around, almost making them to look like a hand-wielded buzzsaws, before swinging them at the ninjas and their weapons. By this technique, Jennika sliced the ninjas' Naginatas' spearheads off before slicing both hafts into five pieces, causing astonished ninjas to take the step back while looking down at the remains of their weapons in their hands, just before Jennika lunged forward and sunk her Katanas through of the ninjas' stomachs, even twisting her blades to make the wounds more lethal.

Three ninjas with Kusarigamas has also got over their initial shock and were at the moment spinning their weapons chains rapidly around while glaring angrily towards Jennika. Then, the trio started to throw their chains at the traitorous Kunoichi, aiming their weights at her turned back. However, Jennika pulled her swords out of the ninjas she'd recently killed and swung her blades at the incoming weights, knocking them off the flight. The ninjas kept throwing their weighted chains at Jennika repeatedly before pulling them back and threw them at her again, while Jennika skillfully swung both her swords at the incoming weights and knocked them off the air before they could hit her, all the while dodging some throws by bowing her head down, leaning her head out of the way and moving step by step to her left. The weights that she missed or was forced to dodge hit the wall behind her, leaving there the deep cracked dents upon impact.

Ninja with the twin Katar-like daggers then charged at Jennika, swinging his right dagger at Jennika's head before attempting to stab her with his left one. However, turning her both Katanas upside down in her hands, the Kunoichi moved her head under of the ninja's attempted swing, before she clashed her left sword with the ninja's attempted stab, turning it away, before she spun around and stabbed her right sword through of the ninja's back and then slashed him in the nape with her left sword. After the ninja Jennika just killed fell over to the ground, the three ninjas with Kusarigamas then threw their chains at Jennika all at the same time but Jennika jumped in the air before they could hit her, leaving only three new cracked dents in the wall. The ninjas then pulled their chains back, spin them for a moment and then threw them upwards at Jennika again, but the Kunoichi rapidly slashed her swords at the chains three-four times, cutting ooff the weights from the ends of the chains and slicing them into pieces.

Jennika then landed in front of the three ninjas who, despite the destruction of their chains, still tried to use their weapons' sickle-blades to kill Jennika, only for the ninja woman being one step ahead as she slashed her right sword at them in 25 degree angle from down to upwards: gutting the one in her left, slashing across the chest of the second in the middle and slitting the throat of the third in her right. All ninjas let out the cry in anguish after Jennika's blade made contact with their flesh, before Jennika slashed her left sword at the ninjas in the same angle from up downwards: slitting the throat from the left one, slashing the middle one across his chest again and gutting the right one, before she spun around to her right and swung her both swords at the ninjas, cutting each ninja's head clean off.

A single ninja in the other side of the alley then took a handful of Shuriken into his hands and threw them at Jennika, as the Kunoichi quickly picked up one of the headless ninja's dropped Kamas from the ground, hopped onto one headless ninja's shoulder and boosted herself upwards till her left foot hit against the wall of the building in her side, followed by the volley of the ninja's throwing stars. Jennika then pushed herself off the wall and flew in horizontal position in the air while spinning around, with the volley of the throwing stars right on her heels - with one even scratching the handle of the Kama just above of her hand - before Jennika did a flip around and landed on her feet to the ninja's other side. As the ninja turned towards Jennika, the Kunoichi was once again a step ahead as she threw her Kama at the ninja. The sickle blade sunk deep into the ninja's head, killing him instantly and causing his arms to fall limply down, dropping the remaining Shurikens. The ninja fell forward to the ground, with the Kama's handle keeping his head just above of the ground.

John then fly-kicked one ninja in the chest, causing him to stumble backwards. The ninja then bumped into one of his remaining comrades standing behind his back with the force that caused the ninjas to crash flat against the wall. John then thursted his glowing sword forward at the ninjas, running his blade through of both of them, killing them both. As John's attention was momentarily elsewhere, another ninja leaped at John with his sword raised over his head in an attempt to chop his right sword-wielding arm off. However, John pulled his sword out of the corpses of the two ninjas just in time before the new ninja's sword could land onto his arm. John then spun around and lunged at the ninja, kneeing him under of his chin with his right knee and causing his head to rocket back and the stunned ninja himself to stumble back for a couple steps. The blow had also opened the ninja's frontal defense and left him disoriented for a moment, allowing John to leap at him and raise his sword over his head before he brought it down on the ninja. His glowing blade cut smoothly across the ninja's chest, starting from his right shoulder and ended to the left side of his waist. A third ninja then charged at John and attempted to hit him with his staff, but John simply spun to his left and moved to the ninja's right side as he brought his staff down on the spot where John had been standing, before the man swung his sword down in wide arch a the ninja's legs and violently cut the right one off right bellow of it base, causing the half-legged ninja to fly in the air while screaming in agony, before John then brought his sword down on the ninja for the killing strike, which knocked the mortally wounded ninja down to the ground.

John then turned to the last standing ninja in front of them, the one who was armed with the Three-Section-Staff. Though the ninja was standing at the ready while spinning one end of his weapon rapidly around, he looked uncertain about attacking John after witnessing him and Jennika killing most of his comrades and knocking few others out cold with little to no effort, and hesitated greatly to make his own move on them. However, John didn't wait for that and slashed his sword at the ninja twice, cutting the chains that linked the sections of his staff together, rendering the weapon useless and the ninja himself weaponless. The ninja looked down at his useless weapon before he turned to look up at John again, breathing rapidly out of nervousness, before John sprinted at him and palm-struck the ninja hard in the chest with his right palm, knocking him back... until the ninja backed right into Jennika's pointed swords, causing himself getting impaled by the blades from behind. The ninja tilted backwards and he let out the cry in agony from his mouth. The dying ninja then weakly peered down at the bloody sword tips that pushed out of his chest, before his hands fell limply down and his head slumped over his shoulders, before he then fell off Jennika's swords and fell down onto his side at her feet.

John and Jennika then turned to the exit of the alley, where they saw the two Foot Ninja that John had knocked down earlier, but not out cold, scrambling to their feet and then heading straight for the exit of the alley. Unlike the other two out of the four, who were still lying unconscious in the ground, these two most likely had witnessed Jennika's sudden switch of sides and were hurrying to report it - as well as Leo's and Mary's location and John's appearance to the scene - to the Shredder.

Now wanting these two to rat her out to the Shredder, Jennika sheated her swords and picked up two dropped Kamas up from the ground. The Kunoichi then spun the Kamas wildly in her hands while crossing her arms for a moment and then spreading them wide. And then, Jennika threw her right Kama at one of the ninja, making it spin around in horizontal pose, before she threw her left Kama at the another ninja, making it to spin in vertical pose. Before the ninjas managed to reach to the exit, the right Kama flew at its victim and decapitated him, knocking the head off the ninja's shoulders and causing his dead headless body to fall flat on its stomach to the ground. The left Kama hit another ninja to the back of his head, both killing him instantly and causing the ninja to flip over before he fell onto his back to the ground and remained to lie there as still as a rock.

With the battle over, most of the Foot dead, with only two survivors knocked unconscious but unaware of Jennika's switch of sides and slaughter she inflicted upon the Foot alongside of John, the two victorious warriors then turned towards Leo and Mary.

Leo and Mary were still eyeing the two of them with the skeptical look in their eyes while holding their weapons up and ready.

To show to the two suspicious turtles that he came in peace, John deactivated the glowing of his blade - which surprisingly wasn't stained by blood at all - before he put it back under of his trench coat and started walking towards the turtles. Jennika, however, picked up from the ground an intact Naginata, which had been dropped on the ground by the dead ninja lying next to it, and tarted walking towards the turtles alongside of John as well. Jennika also removed her mask from her her, revealing her narrow, beautiful and smooth-skinned face, her amber eyes and her black chin-length shiny hair, which covered much of her face from the left side.

Leo and Mary then pointed their swords up at John and Jennika, keeping the distance between of two respective groups just in case of another trap.

"Okay... this is new." Leo admitted, before he turned towards John. "You're definitely some sort of ninja, but... I guess you're not one of them."

Mary turned to point her sword at Jennika. "And what about you, Kunoichi? Why did you turn against your own just like that, to fight alongside him?" the turtle in turquoise asked, briefly pointing her sword at John's direction. "You're a double-agent amongst the Foot or something?"

John and Jennika both stared at the turtles for a moment in silence, before Jennika opened her mouth to speak up.

"My name is Jennika... but you're strictly forbidden to speak of my name out loud in the times like this." Jennika said with the strict voice, indirectly answering Mary's question about her being a double-agent amongst the Foot.

"And as for who we are..." John started. "We are simply the guardians. Beyond that, we cannot tell you anything more."

Leo and Mary narrowed their eyes at these two, still glaring up at them with suspicion.

"Well, that's pretty helpful." Mary remarked sarcastically.

"Yeah." Leo agreed. "Just for you to know, after what happened with Saki, I am having a serious trust issues here when it comes with the strangers."

Both Jennika and John then bowed their heads down apologetically.

"We understand all too well that you do not trust us after what happened, Leonardo." Jennika said, half-sympathetically and half-strictly.

"You got that right, sis. So how about earning our trust by enlightening us about you guys?" Mary suggested half-sarcastically and half-demandingly. "That would help us to decide whether you're trustworthy or not."

"We're sorry, Marietta, but we cannot reveal you everything right now." John said regretfully, before he looked up at Leo and Mary again. "Just you know that you and your family have been caught in middle of the war , the war that is bigger than you both can imagine."

This knowledge stirred the memory in Leo's head, a memory of his conversation with Saki about the same subject. "The war that is bigger than... h-hey, wait a minute! I pretty much heard that already from Oroku Saki." Leo snarled.

"Then you two must be with the ones he was talking about in the twisted way, are we correct?" Mary questioned.

"Yes." John comfirmed. "With all the lies he told you about himself and us, the war-part was the only truth the Shredder told you."

"You turtles do have potential, which we have noticed and so did the Shredder, after you foiled his many schemes in these past months. That's why we've been watching you from the shadows for some time now, worried that you too would be swayed by Shredder's lies, turned into his weapons against what we're fighting for." Jennika explained.

"We are nobody's weapons against anybody." Leo declared firmly. "And we only fight for justice by the honorable ways of Bushido, nothing more."

"We are glad to hear that." John said, before he took a step forward. "Then know this, that you're not fighting alone against our common enemy. And by rejecting the Shredder and his evil, you've both made us your true allies this day." John said, holding his hand out towards Leo.

Leo looked down at John's hand for a moment and then up at John, who patiently waited for Leo's response.

At that moment he remembered Master Splinter once saying that "the enemy of my enemy is my friend". And since John and Jennika rescued him and Mary from a trap and offered them an alliance with their mysterious organization against Foot and the Shredder, Leo could only come to one conclusion, that both Jennika and John were telling the truth and that they were trustworthy enough. Shrugging off the remains of his suspicions, Leo put the smile on his face and sheathed his swords. The turtle in blue then took John's hand and shook it, sealing their alliance.

Seeing Leo's shaking John's hand as a sign of trust, Mary decided to follow Leo's suit by shrugging off her own suspicions and nodded her head in agreement. The turtle in turquouse slid her sword under the belt behind of her shell, but as she turned back to their two new friends, she was left surprised when she noticed Jennika holding the Naginata's haft towards her as if to hand it to her. Mary turned up to look at Jennika, who smiled goot-naturally at her.

"Indeed." Jennika added, and then she spun the Naginata in her hand for a moment, before she held the weapon's haft's blunt end pointed at Mary. Jennika then held the Naginata's haft towards Mary, who looked down at it and then up at Jennika in surprise.

"The allies help each other, don't they? And I think that you're in need of this for the upcoming battle, Marietta." Jennika said, shaking the weapon's haft's blunt end slight, encouraging Mary to take it as her own.

Though initially hesitating to touch the weapon due to it being the Foot-made weapon, the turtle in turquoise eventually shrugged her shoulders with "Whaterver" manner and took the Naginata from Jennika's hand into her own carefully as if it was a valuable yet fragile artifact. Mary then examined its blade, which had a curved tip and was slightly longer and wider and therefore slightly heavier than her own, but it was still easy for her to handle in the battle. Though the turtle in turquoise slightly grimaced at the sight of the visible Foot Symbols that were carved onto the flat sides of the blade, she casted this detail aside just this once, knowing that she indeed needed the weapon that naturally fit to her style and skills.

Mary then turned towards John and Jennika, as a grateful smile began to appear on the turtle in turquoise's lips, and then bowed at the two in gratitude.

"Thank you." Mary said.

"And thank you for your help." Leo added, letting go of John's hand and bowing at the two.

John and Jennika responded by bowing at the turtles in blue and turquoise in kind.

Meanwhile, Battle Shell was driving down the street with the seven turtles and Splinter inside. Donnie was behind the wheel and driving, but Master Splinter had been backseat driving ever since the vehicle had picked them up from the alley, constantly giving the turtle in purple criticism for his driving style, which was testing Donnie's patience.

"Slow down, Donatello! You're driving too quickly!" Splinter shouted.

Donnie then turned sharply to the left, causing the tires to screech sharply in protest, and drove into the alleyway - the same one where Leo, Mary, John and Jennika were at the moment. All four of them turned around once they saw the bright headlights. Donnie then stopped the Battle Shell right in front of Leo and Mary, causing the two to cover their eyes with their hands to block the light.

"And that turn was too sharp!" Splinter complained.

"Master Splinter, you've been backseat driving the whole way." Donnie groaned.

"Yeah. No offense, Sensei, but since when you've learned to drive the car?" Louie asked from the backside of the truck.

Then the Battle Shell's left side's door was slidded open and Arcee peeked out of the open doorway, smiling at his older sister and older brother, at the same time as the driver's seat window was rolled down and Donnie peeked his own head out.

"Hey, guys!" Arcee greeted.

Both Leo and Mary grinned widely at the sight of Donnie and Arcee.

"Donnie! Arcee!" Mary squealed happily.

"Not just us, sis! Raph, Louie, Dom, Mikey, and even Master Splinter are in here too!" the turtle in pink informed.

The passenger's window was then rolled down, before Raph's own head peeked out of it.

"And I see you two have had a bit of fun yourself, haven't you?" the turtle in red remarked, gesturing at the mattress of the ninja corpses in front of the Battle Shell.

Arcee leaned further out to see the bloody carnage Raph was talking about and gimaced in sheer disgust. "Some fun, eh? Oh my god." the turtle in turquoise sighed.

Donnie then changed the subject. "So Leo and Mary, you guys need the ride." the turtle in purple asked.

"Sure. Definitely sure." Mary said.

Leo then remembered that he and Mary weren't alone in the alleyway, and proceeded to introduce their new friends to their family.

"Guys, I'd like to introduce you to... wha?!" Leo began, until he gasped in surprise when he noticed that the spots where John and Jennika had been standing a moment ago were empty. Leo and Mary, who was surprised to see their new friends gone as well, turned to look around of the dead end of the alleyway enlighted by the Battle Shell's headlights, but there was no sign of Jennika and John. Both of them had vanished without them noticing.

"To who? There ain't nobody beside us, guys!" Raph called from the passenger's window, slightly confused of what his brother and sister were doing or talking about.

Leo and Mary still kept looking around, looking utterly confused.

"A mysterious ninja." Leo murmured silently.

"And the double-agent amongst the Foot." Mary finished.

TRIVIA

1) = I changed the look of the guardians' swords slightly, that their pommels resemble the Utrom heads with the tentacles wrapping around of the hilts, just like with the Sword of Tengu. Also, while in the canon series, the guardians' swords do not harm the enemies seriously (most likely to mitigate the gory), but here I made their effectiveness similar to the Jedis' lightsabers from Star Wars. When the lightsaber cuts through the flesh and bone, it leaves the wound's edges or the amputated limbs' stumps burning and smoking.
