Feldt

Feldt scanned over the systems in the 0 Raiser, making sure the machine was fully functional and tuned. There was worry in the back of her mind, this space laser weapon having killed so many people. 'What sort of monsters would willingly make something like this?' His hatred of the A-Laws and these innovators had only grown as she saw more of their actions.

A knock on her cockpit caused her to look up, curious who would be free enough to talk to her. Opening up her hatch and floating up, she saw Lyle floating just above the hull of the 0 Raiser, a casual smile on his face and orange Haro under his arm. He spoke in a casual tone, "Hey there! I gotta say you did a good job last battle."

Feldt smiled good naturedly, "Thanks." She then looked at him curiously, "Shouldn't you be in the Cheridum preparing for battle? My mom would ream you if she knew you weren't at your Gundam."

Lyle shrugged his shoulders, "It's fine. It's not like I'm fully piloting in the next operation. So I can afford to be a little late. As for what I am here for, I bring you a gift." He held Haro out in his hand, a smirk on his face.

Feldt looked at him, confused, "Don't you need Haro?" While she would say she was fine working besides Lyle after they two had made up, it was strange to see him offer this, as Haro had seemed happy to be in the Cheridum.

Lyle rolled his eyes, "I saw how much you and orange Haro here get along, and since the 0 Raiser needs one, I thought it would be best if I gave him to you."

The redhead's eyes widened, "You would be willing to do that? I mean he's been in that type of Gundam for-"

"I don't need something else reminding me of my brother, no matter how cute it is. And he seems to miss you. Never thought I would see a depressed robot."

Haro's wings flapped, "Missed Feldt! Missed Feldt!"

Feldt chuckled, "Oh Haro." She looked at Lyle, smiling, "I would happily take him. But what are you gonna do for your Haro?"

Lyle looked passed her, grinning at her, "How about we swap? You get Haro here and I'll take the blue one you have over there?"

Feldt looked back at the robot in her cockpit, thinking for a second before nodding, "That works for me." She floated into the cockpit, detaching the blue Haro and floating out of the 0 Raiser. She looked at the Haro and spoke softly, "You be as good for Lyle as you have for me."

The haro chirped happily, "Will do! Will do!" She handed him the blue Haro, and they swapped, the orange Haro happily flapping in her hand.

Lyle spoke with a smile on his face, "Well look at how happy he looks." He looked down at his own Haro, "You ready to fight?"

"Ready to help! Ready to help!"

Feldt gave Lyle a beaming smile, "Thank you. I never expected to be able to fight with this little guy."

"No problem. And now you can. I've got to get to the Cheridum, so good luck with you and Setsuna's job." Lyle gave her a lazy wave as he floated out of the hanger the 0 Raiser was in.

Feldt waved back at him, "Good luck yourself." Lyle left the hanger, leaving Feldt with her favorite little machine. She held him up in both her hands, "You ready to go?"

"Fight space laser! Fight space laser!"

Feldt nodded at that, grinning, "Let's get you all set up."

As she knew they were nearing the point when the 00 Raiser would be launched, Tieria popped up on her screen, causing Feldt to blink a few times. Tieria's voice was even as he spoke, "Please stay safe out there. Even with your training, you have to be cautious." Tieria frowned as he finished speaking.

Feldt smiled warmly, Tieria's worry about her creating a happy buzz in her chest, "I will. I won't forget what you taught me. I'll try to keep Setsuna from going too crazy."

Tieria's expression loosened up, a small smile on his face, "I suppose you would be the one to keep him under control."

Feldt smirked at him, "I have to be since you seem to be the one to encourage my boyfriend and his crazy plans."

Tieria blushed, embarrassed, "Setsuna has a way of convincing you to go along with said plans."

"Don't I know that." She fought off the blush thinking about that last couple nights in their room. Feldt then shifted from a smile to a slight frown, "Please keep the ship safe. I don't want to…" This weapon they were facing was dangerous and she wasn't completely certain they would make it. 'The ship would never be able to stand against a weapon like this if it hit the ship.'

Tieria just nodded, "I'll make sure your mother and the crew are safe. We will make it through this." Feldt could hear the confidence in his voice, bolstering her spirit.

The redhead nodded, "Thanks. I'll see you when I get back."

Tieria smiled, "Good. Tell Setsuna I want to see his impulsive face as well."

"I will."

Marlene

Marlene took a deep breath, preparing to head to the bridge from her room. They were a few hours out from the approach to the A-Laws's space station and Marlene had gotten a few hours of rest, Sumeragi saying she was fine helming the bridge, needing the time to come up with a plan. 'First we learn about that weapon and now we have to worry about a bunch of immortal artificial humans controlling everything? How far back did their control go? Only four years ago? Or even further back? Was Ruido's death their fault?'

It wasn't the only surprise as well. When people were coming back on the ship, she saw Marie with a Celestial Being uniform, wearing a red jacket, orange shirt, and pants, the shirt matching the color of Allelujah's shirt. It was minor, but the fact she was wearing it at least showed she was willing to join in the Celestial Being cause.

Marlene shook her head. Those worries and distractions could wait for later. This horrific weapon needed to go and she had to keep her head on straight. As she opened her door, she was caught by surprise when she saw Anew standing in front of the now opened door, wringing her hands slightly nervously. The lavender-haired woman looked up evenly at Marlene, "Can I talk to you for a minute?"

Marlene nodded, standing out of the way of the door, "Sure. Come in." Marlene was slightly annoyed by the timing of this, but she had never found time to have a good long conversation with the new recruit.

Anew took a step in, relaxing a little. She took a deep breath, smiling, "I just wanted to thank you for assigning me to the crew of the Ptolemaios. I know I'm a new recruit, so I wasn't expecting it."

"Well with your skillset, you were perfect for the crew. I have high hopes for you, especially with your resume." 'It's almost too perfect.'

Anew smiled at the compliment, not aware of what Marlene was really thinking, "Thank you commander. I just want to do my best in helping rid the world of the A-Laws."

Marlene tried to keep a straight face, but her doubts were coming back causing her to frown slightly. Anew seemed dedicated to their cause and Linda had reported that she was a diligent worker. And in the battle she had shown that she can hold herself together well, along with her skills as the pilot of the ship. 'There should be no reason I feel that way, but somehow I still do.'

Anew looked at her with concern, worry in her brow, "Are you ok commander? Is something wrong?"

Marlene steeled herself, shoving her doubts away, hoping Anew would buy her lie, "I'm just thinking about the target of the upcoming operation. No one should hold a weapon so destructive, especially people that are so corrupt."

Anew nodded, her voice filling with a bit of venom, "I completely agree. All of those people died because they continued to resist the government. Who knows who else they will target. It's almost like…like…" Anew trailed off, the word on the tip of her tongue.

Marlene spoke in a downbeat tone, knowing exactly what she meant, "It's a sword of Damocles."

"Yes! That! Who knows how long any resistance group would last with this weapon being operational?"

"Not very long, but that's why we are here." Marlene unconsciously felt a small smile come to her face. 'She really does feel strongly about this. Those reports about her work history weren't wrong.' Marlene nodded in approval, "I see you have read your ancient history."

Anew blushed slightly, "My uncle said one should understand the lessons of the past to make the right decisions in the future."

"Smart man. I do want to inform you that I will be keeping an eye on you for the time being. You are only a recent recruit, so I just want to make sure your performance matches with what is promised."

Anew nodded, "I expected nothing less. The way that Ian and Linda described you made it seem like you were kind of a…"

Marlene rolled her eyes, "Just say it."

"…a hardass. Some of the older crew members described your disciplining of the crew at the bases you were at, and they weren't pretty." Anew looked at her nervously, and Marlene guessed she was worried she said something wrong.

Marlene smirked, "They needed to be reminded we are a professional organization, regardless of our status." Marlene's expression evened out, "As long as you stay professional and do your job properly, you should be fine. You should have seen the talks I had with the people who gave my daughter inappropriate looks."

Anew's face cringed at the idea, but quickly went back to an even look, "I'll do my best. We can't afford to lose now."

"No, we can't."

Anew looked at the door, "Sorry to keep you busy. I just wanted to thank you for letting me on the ship."

Marlene shook her head, "It's no problem. But I have to get back to the bridge."

"I'll join you then." Marlene just nodded at the new crew member, and they two women left to head to the bridge, Marlene occasionally glancing over at Anew. 'Maybe I'm just being irrational. She could be perfectly loyal. But my gut is right most of the time.' It was another headache she would have to deal with. 'Not like I don't have enough of those.'

Setsuna

Setsuna gripped his controls as he waited for the command to launch. He couldn't see how close they were to their target, but it had to be soon. 'Just hope my distraction is enough.' He had a gut feeling that one of the new model suits would be there. 'Hopefully it's not the one with the cannon.' That one could do significant damage to the Ptolemy, as shown by the severe damage to Hanger 3.

His mind then drifted to the upcoming operation, this space laser something out of his nightmares. Even worse for him, they were using it to try to coerce and take over the Middle East. 'How many more people will the innovators and A-Laws kill to make sure they keep their control.' It viscerally disgusted him how callous those people were, willing to throw away millions of lives for their own selfish gains. Celestial Being had fought for so long to remove this corruption from the world and now it only seemed to be getting worse.

Feldt's face popped up on his display, a serious look on her face, "The 0 Raiser is all ready to go." He expression lightened up for a second, a smile on her face, "Also look who's here." Setsuna took a deep breath and centered himself, disgust fading away.

Setsuna saw on her side a familiar orange robot in place of the blue one she had before. Setsuna quirked his brow at the sight, curious look on his face, "Hey there Haro."

The robot chirped happily, "Hi Setsuna! Hi Setsuna!"

Setsuna turned his attention back to Feldt, "When did you get orange Haro back?"

Feldt spoke happily, "Lyle and I swapped Haros. Said Haro missed me."

Setsuna nodded, a smile coming to his face, "I am happy to see you two reunited." He then gave Feldt a warm smile, "It's good to know that I have the two of you with me."

Feldt grinned, "I would have never let you fight alone. Not even my mom would have stopped that, though I am happy she actually approves of this."

"I wouldn't expect any less from you. You ready?"

Feldt gave him a confident grin, "I trained for years. Of course I'm ready to fight." Setsuna could see the genuine confidence as she looked at him. Her training had always shown her to be skilled fighter, though she was more cautious than him, though she took a few more risks after she began to train with him. 'Probably for the best that she's the cautious one. She can help me keep my head on straight.'

He gave her a slight smirk, "That's good. Because we are going to be alone out there."

"I think we can handle it." The confident grin that stayed on her face caused a slight blush on Setsuna's face. 'I hadn't realized how hot her confidence was now that she's a pilot.'

Marlene's face then popped up on his display, space suit on, her voice even, "Setsuna, Feldt, please repeat your objective." Her voice contained no judgement, the blonde woman simply stating her request.

Setsuna nodded his head, his voice neutral, "We are to assist the Katharon forces, gather any information they have on the target and once that is achieved, act as a distraction for the Ptolemy."

"Good." Marlene's expression then morphed into one of worry, her voice becoming quieter, "Both of you please stay as safe as possible out there. I can't-"

"Mom, we'll make it back to the ship. You don't have to worry. We'll be back before you know it." Feldt gave her mom a soft smile, her sea-green eyes showing her affection for her mother. Setsuna felt warmth in his heart looking at how close the two had grown without the piloting issue between them.

Marlene just nodded, "I can't help but feel it. Being a mother is like that sometimes." Marlene shook her head, an even expression now crossing her face, back in business mode, "You should be launching any minute now, so be prepared."

Both Feldt and Setsuna responded at the same time, "Understood." Marlene nodded one last time and cut communications. Feldt and Setsuna wordlessly looked at each other, both seeing the determination in the other's eye. 'Today we deal a blow against the A-Laws. We finally strike back against them.' Setsuna closed his eyes, preparing himself. 'No more people die from this weapon.'

Marlene

Marlene internally cheered as the Ptolemy left the combat zone, the weapon they learned was named the Memento Mori exploding behind them. Despite the great odds they faced as the charged along the orbital ring, they had managed to push through the enemy defenses and hit the weak point they learned about right before they had arrived, thanks to an unknown person giving them the blueprints of the orbital weapon. 'I wonder who that was. If it was Wang Liu Mei, she would have said.' Wang Liu Mei had been silent recently, so Marlene was suspicious and curious what was going on with her. 'Was she the one who told the A-Laws about the Lagrange 3 base? Had she betrayed us?'

A shiver went down her spine, but she suppressed the thought. Right now, they had delivered a heavy blow to the A-Laws and innovators, and while they needed to get to safety and rejoin with the 00 Raiser, it was a time to be happy. The rest of the crew was smiling or cheering at the victory, Marlene holding back to maintain her professional façade. She wasn't in the mood to celebrate just yet.

She kept her focus on the sensors, knowing they still shouldn't get overconfident. New enemy mobile suits had shown up out of nowhere before, like before they arrived at Lagrange 3. She quietly hoped that just this once, the universe would cut them a break. The ship was in no shape to fight, their particles drained due to the use of trans-am during the battle.

Marlene was about to turn to talk to Sumeragi when her sensors went off and three signatures appeared. Looking at the data she had, two of them matched previous enemies, one being the one with the large blaster, the other one the one with the beam claws. The third one was larger, looking more like a mobile armor, though she couldn't get a good visual read on it. 'Another new model? How many suits can our enemies make?'

She called out in a tense voice, "Sumeragi! Three enemy contacts on sensors! And one of them is a mobile armor!"

She heard the slamming of a fist on metal and plastic, Sumeragi's voice tight, "How long till they reach us?"

Marlene could sense the happy attitude had fled in the face of this new enemy and a tense atmosphere took its place. She responded as evenly as she could, "Not long. Should we launch the Gundams?"

Sumeragi shook her head, "No. They are still low on particles." Marlene grit her teeth at that, knowing she was right but still wanting to do something. Before the blonde woman had a chance to say something else, a large orange beam, larger than the one that had hit Hanger 3, appeared in front of the ship.

Sumeragi acted immediately, "Dodge that beam and angle us towards Earth!"

Anew responded quickly, "Understood!" The new crew member turned the ship sharply, barely managing to dodge the blast. Marlene could swear she could almost feel the heat coming from the blast. As the blast cleared, it became obvious that the beam came from this new mobile armor and not the machine the 00 Raiser fought before. 'How long have they had this weapon?' The ship began to head towards the planet, the enemies following their path.

Mileina spoke up, sounding shaky, "But what about the 00, Ms. Sumeragi?"

Sumeragi's lips became a thin line, trying to sound calm, "Once we are out of this battle, we will send a new location. Right now, we need to escape."

Marlene grimly nodded at that, agreeing with her assessment. As much as she wanted to reunite with her daughter and Setsuna, they could not win this battle, especially with that new machine. The ship couldn't generate a GN field and couldn't outpace them. Earth would not have been her first choice, but Sumeragi had a plan, so she would trust the tactical forecasters instincts.

Sumeragi yelled out another command, "Activate smokescreen!"

Enemy fire began to cover the rear of the ship, blast hitting the hull and armor of the Ptolemy. Red damage indicators began to spread across the rear of the ship, the severity picking up as the Ptolemy fled from the enemy. Marlene and the rest of the crew could feel the impacts, the inertial dampeners keeping the bridge from shaking too severely. Marlene kept a straight face, keeping her eyes on the damage. She could see Lasse returning fire on the enemy, but due to the smokescreen and the damage to the ship, she had no idea what impact they were making. 'Probably nothing, if these pilots are the innovators that Tieria talked about.'

She looked over at Sumeragi, who's eyes were glued on the main window of the bridge, the earth rapidly approaching. Marlene began to wonder what the brunette was doing, before something clicked in her mind. 'We can hide on the surface! And there is a good chance those suits can't actually survive re-entry.' Marlene also noticed the ship was picking up speed as they fled, going faster than normal. Her eye's widened. 'Sumeragi must be using the energy of the attacks to speed us up! The smoke screen is being used to reduce the damage being done to us!' Marlene smiled for a second at the genius of Sumeragi. 'I'm happy more than ever she got out of her funk.'

She hoped they would be able to send a communication to the 00 Raiser, though that was becoming slimmer as she noticed more and more severe damage on the ship sensors. And it wasn't just physical damage to the hull. Systems were becoming damaged, like the auto-targeting system for the weapons. There probably was more, but right now, she wasn't focused on that. They could look at those later. She just had to make sure the ship was intact.

As the closed in on earth, she could feel the reheat of re-entry as they approached the atmosphere. And even with severely damaged sensors, she could see the enemy breaking away. She let out a silent sigh of relief, the tenseness on the bridge lightening a little. They had barely survived a battle that was against them, the ship mostly intact physically, though it would require significant repairs to get fully operational.

Marlene called out to Sumeragi, "Enemies falling back. We are clear."

Sumeragi nodded at that, her voice a little less tense, "Don't drop your guard just yet. We need to be ready to make emergency repairs as soon as we land on earth. Mileina, what is the status of our communications?"

Marlene looked over to see Mileina looking worried, "Communications are offline!"

Marlene swore under her breath, and Sumeragi clearly agreed with her as she spoke, "Dammit! We need to get those up as soon as possible. The 00 Raiser will need to know where we are."

Marlene's heart skipped a beat. She knew the 00 Raiser was probably fine, but it broke her heart to know they were alone, especially her daughter. Logically she knew both of them were tough, but the fact her baby was out there all alone with no idea if her mother, along with the rest of the crew, was alive hurt her. An errant tear went down her face, which she was unable to stop due to her helmet. 'Now is not the time for tears!'

Marlene hardened her expression as he looked at her display, balling a fist. They needed to solve their issues and fast. She needed to see her daughter and Setsuna safe and sound. She would work until that happened, even if she had to stay up for days.

Feldt

Feldt watched the innovator mobile suit they had been engaging them during the battle stop chasing them, probably looking at them frustrated. There had been a few close falls during the battle against the A-Laws fleet, but Setsuna and her had successfully managed to keep them distracted from blasting the ship. And with the destruction of the Memento Mori, both of them had gotten a recall order, with a location to rendezvous with the ship. The new model suit had pursued them, but had been attacked by red beams, which was strange to Feldt. 'Who would help us against the A-Laws that had a pseudo-solar reactor? The Federation seems to have strict control on access to that technology.'

Feldt ruminated, the thought in her head for a few more seconds before she focused back on the sensors of the 00, keeping an eye out for any enemies as Setsuna flew them to where they would meet the ship. She opened up comms with her boyfriend, who had a look of concentration on his face. She gave him a small smile, "Good job out there. The plan worked perfectly."

Setsuna gave her a small smile back, "That innovator was more persistent than I expected, but now they know we can strike back at them. Thanks for the backup. You made it easier to concentrate on fighting. Who do you think fired those red beams?"

"Just doing my job." She grinned before a serious expression crossed her face, "Earth should at least be safer now. One less weapon for them to terrify the population. And I have no idea who fired those beams, but I want to know who that was." She heard a beep on her console and saw they were nearing the rendezvous point, sending that to Setsuna.

Setsuna nodded at her words and the information she sent to him, "One less obstacle in our path." The two wordlessly continued forward. As they neared the meeting point, a field of debris began to surround them, made up of blue and metallic covers. Setsuna spoke, his voice full of confusion, "Where is the Ptolemy? Wasn't this where we were supposed to meet them?"

Feldt blankly nodded, scanning the area for the ship, "Yes, it should be right here." The sensors showed nothing, a growing sense of dread beginning to grow in her mind. The debris here didn't match any of the A-Laws suits or ships. The shade of blue was closer to… 'No, it can't be. We won! But it's the only thing that could possibly have…' A tear came to her eye, and she could see Setsuna coming to the same realization that she did. The debris was from the Ptolemy. 'No! No! Not everyone on the crew! Not mom and Tieria!'

A few tears rolled down her cheeks, but she didn't have any time to really think before a signature appeared on the sensors. Setsuna clearly saw them too, as he turned to aim his weapons towards the approaching craft; it was a shuttle craft that was mostly red besides a vertical strip on the top, which was white. Feldt narrowed her eyes, mind going into combat mode, but an open communication appeared on Setsuna's display, which Feldt quietly opened up privately on her display, not revealing her presence.

"Hi. It's been a while, Setsuna." The voice was immediately familiar to her. While it had matured, it was unmistakably Nena Trinity, who was in a futuristic looking space suit with white in the center and deep purple around the edges, with blue lights in the chest. The woman who had kissed Setsuna without his consent. Who had committed so many crimes against civilians. Anger began to rise as the woman continued, "You've become a real stud dude! Nena likes what she sees." Feldt's anger rose even more seeing Nena flirt with him, eyes narrowing in anger.

Setsuna didn't respond, to which Nena called out annoyed, "Hey! I helped you back there! A thank you would be nice." Feldt saw Setsuna clearly contemplating something, but Nena didn't seem to catch on, so she continued, scoffing, "You're welcome, but never mind that. It looks like your ship fell down to Earth." Setsuna lowered the weapons of the 00 Raiser, clearly realizing she's not an enemy, though Feldt was still suspicious. 'That woman is not to be trusted.' Hope did rise in her at the mention of the ship surviving, though it still couldn't overpower her current anger.

Nena smiled, a small smirk on her lips, "I'm sending over the data to their rough location. Shouldn't be too hard-"

As the data began to go through the 00 Raiser's computers, Setsuna spoke up finally, interrupting Nena, "Why did you do it?" His voice was harsh and Nena was clearly taken aback. Feldt smiled to herself, happy Setsuna did not want to be around her either.

Nena responded, confused, "Do what?"

Setsuna's voice took on an accusatory tone, "Kill all those innocent people five years ago during your interventions."

Nena looked surprised at the accusatory tone in his voice, and matched it in anger, "You killed just as many as people and created this new world! Don't look down on me!" Feldt agreed with Setsuna completely and would have said something if Setsuna hadn't said it first.

Setsuna kept up his harsh look as he continued, "Wrong. You and your brothers followed the wrong plan, directly leading to this nightmare of a government. You may have been manipulated, but you didn't even think to question your orders. We may have started it, but you worked to forward a corrupt plan. We never targeted civilians. You three did. We didn't target innocent people, like blowing up a wedding. I don't even care which one of you did it. So don't put yourself on a high horse by blaming it on us."

Feldt jumped in, finally making her secret spying public to Nena, vibrating in anger, "You also hurt the man I loved when you kissed him! Just because you thought he was crazy! And kept flirting with him when he didn't like you! You don't think about anyone but yourself!"

Nena's eyes narrowed at Feldt, confused but still angry, "Who are you? Some side piece of Setsuna's?"

Feldt's eyes narrowed, the words slipping out of her mouth before she could stop them, "I'm his wife, you bitch!"

"Wife?" Nena let out a growl, fists balled, "So this is what I get for trying, huh? I'm out of here. See if I help you again." The communication dropped and the shuttle turned around, moving away from the 00 Raiser. Feldt now realized what she just said as her anger flowed away, her cheeks pink from embarrassment. She knew it came from the bottom of her heart and she really did want to marry Setsuna, but she wanted it to be more…romantic than yelling at Nena.

Setsuna looked at her with wide eyes, his face red as well, voice soft with confusion, "We aren't married. Why did you tell her that?"

Feldt looked away from him, her nerves getting to her, "…I don't know…I was just so angry and…she was flirting with you…and….and…" Feldt's voice squeaked as she continued, "I wanted her to know exactly where she stood, especially after what she did to you!" She hesitated for a second, her cheeks now heating up due to the warm feeling of just saying Setsuna was her husband, "And I had been thinking about…the future and I how I wanted you to be in the rest of my life, standing side by side."

She looked at him, a thoughtful look on his face, though he had a small smile. She swallowed nervously, "I wasn't saying we had to get married. It was impulsive and I wasn't thinking-"

"Let's do it. Let's get married." It was Feldt's turn to be shocked, looking at Setsuna's determined face. There was a softness to it, but she could see the devotion in his look, the raw affection leaking off of him. Her face felt like the sun, all words having fled her. The man she loved said he wanted to marry her, after she accidentally spilled her true feelings. 'He wants a future. With me.' Tears came to her eyes and all she could do was nod. 'I wish I could be kissing him senseless right now.'

Her voice was almost a whisper as she replied, "Yes. Yes. I only want to be with you." Happy tears came streaming down her face, her helmet fogging up slightly. Feldt was beaming as she looked at Setsuna, "I love you."

Setsuna gave her a soft smile back, "I love you too, angel." She saw him look down at his hands, voice in awe, "I never expected I would ever say that. That I would ever propose."

Feldt's eyes radiated affection, "Well now you have. I always have you and you always have me." A determined look came to the redhead's face, "Now let's get back to the Ptolemy. The data she sent us pointed to Europe, somewhere in the Carpathian Mountains. We have to tell my mom the good news."

Setsuna nodded, a new outburst of energy in his actions as he took the controls, "Let's go." Feldt giggled slightly at Setsuna's newfound determination. He was always kind of cute when he got that way and right now, she wished she could kiss him. The future lay out in front of her, and now her and Setsuna would be a family. 'I hope my mom is ok.'

Author Note

And that's a wrap for the chapter. Our couple are now engaged and ready to be a family. Marlene is going to have a lot of fun with that. But we still have drama coming up, so be ready for that! See you guys next week!
