PART 2

GREZNY STRONGHOLD

After flying for some time, I saw one of the geographical landmarks of Rhozgelia. The mountain range of Grezny. I broke through the cloud layer and started my descent, diving to gain speed, just relying on gravity to do things for me. I spread my wings and started slowly gliding over it, enhancing my vision and looking for Grezny Stronghold which was my destination. I took out the map from my Gate to double check if I was in the right place. Even though I memorized numerous maps of varying detail, I still wanted to make sure that I am not lost. It was still to early to look up and depend on the stars to get a sense of direction. The visage of this world's moon, Olphel and the two tiny celestial bodies that orbitted it, Lain and Kain, was on the opposite direction of the Sun.

I finally found it, and its condition was worse than I expected. Much of the tall watchtowers behind its strong and broken walls had collapsed yet the main Keep was remarkably intact. I circled over it several times before slightly hovering over the ground on the large open space within it. Presence Concealment was still in effect, I am invisible and cannot be detected through magic nor by senses alike. Acts such as flapping my wings together or clapping my hands would not result in a sound being produced. I looked around as I folded my wings behind me, the place looks deserted. The setting Sun making the place look chilling and ominous and I heard the howling of a wolf in the distance carried by the wind.

Stupid wolf. If I knew where it was I would have turned it into dust with a lightning bolt along with its entire pack.

I used Life Sense, modifying and lowering its area of effect to be safe. I adjusted my eyesight to the darkness and floated towards the large doors of the Keep and phased through it. The form right now was similar to when I was being transported to this world, transparent and ghostly.

The first thing, aside from the internal look of the place that I immediately took notice of, was the smell. There was a strong scent in the air, something dead…? No, the smell of a place that has not been inhabited for a long time…?

As expected the place was in ruins. Parts of the ceiling was on the floor, collapsed columns and broken pieces of benches and tables everywhere. This must be the area where the soldiers ate. There were balconies that had stairs which led to the floor, which meant that there were rooms further beyond. A small distance away was the area where the Lord or Lady of the place must have sat around. The flag of Rhozgelia was on the floor, the ink that they used in this world must be very strong since I can still vaguely see the black dragon, which was me. I floated near the ceiling so I can see everything from above.

I searched around, looking for signs that this place was recently occupied. Some twigs used for a fire, black scorch marks on the ground from the flame and small animal bones. Things that would be around after a temporary camp site and such. But I found several broken human skeletons on the floor spread around the area. I found a particularly strange skull, the jaw was gone. I made it float to me so I can inspect it. There are some bony horny-like protrusions on its forehead near the hair must have grown, some of its teeth were also similar to a Human's except that some were slightly sharp.

This must be the skull of a Demon.

Demons from my other world and from this are drastically different.

In the former, they are seen as evil beings related to the Devil himself.

Here, they are civilized and very similar to Humans and Dwarves. They hated the sunlight since they evolved underground, so they mostly kept to themselves throughout most of their history. Their most prominent feature was their deathly pale skin. They would come out to trade and wore numerous layers of protective covers around themselves, as well as casting special spells for their eyes to adjust to the sunlight. Some even moved to Rhozgelia and intermarried with the citizens there. They did not have a Patron God, but they had ancestral spirits that served the same functions. They were not very fond of the Sun obviously.

Though I remember that they only seldom gave me offerings… But their half-human children did offer in behalf of their purebred parents so I forgave them. Since I was the Prime Deity of The Heavens, their entire race and also others, associated me with the Sun, which must by why I feel stronger and more powerful when under the Sun and during daytime.

The reason for them declaring war was because they felt threatened by the surface dwellers led by their rebellious Gods and Kings. It was supposed to be a preemptive strike on them, but the result was pure chaos and confusion. Our side thought that they were aiding the enemy, and those that rose up thought the same. In the end, it was an all out war between the three of us.

I put it back where I found it and hovered over the ground trying to look for clues. There was an open room nearby and I went inside. It was larger than I expected and had wooden and steel racks on its walls. This must be the place where they used to store their weapons and armour.

Life Sense has still not detected anything, which was strange. You would at least expect a few rats or even a stray animal that would have taken refuge here.

Maybe some bandits as well, that is why I kept myself hidden in the first place. Even after leaving The Capital, I have not seen a single living being except animals whenever I flew at low altitude. There were no more roads nor pathways, or even a simple campsite that I spotted. I had my hopes up when I saw a cabin in the middle of what used to be a farm, but there was no one inside.

Where is everyone…?

Had everyone deserted Rhozgelia…?

Did something happen after I disappeared, which forced them to do so…?

So many question-

CLANG!

I was startled so much that I accidentally used my skill that slowed my perception of time. I called this skill as Mystic Eyes of Time Perception.

The sound that I heard was something like a pan hitting the floor, echoing loudly across this dark and empty place. I immediately released my skill and slowly went to where I thought I heard it, looking behind me every now and then, checking empty and decrepit rooms while I was at it. This place is large, and I am honestly only guessing. Slowly, I entered a narrow and short hallway that made me feel claustrophobic, if I materialized right now, then I will have to lower my wings a bit to prevent them from scraping against the stony walls above.

I cast Life Sense again. Still nothing. Yet…

I don't know why, but I get the feeling that I am feeling watched. The feathers on my wings raised by themselves, like I was getting goosebumps just before looking back at me again to find nothing there.

There is definitely something in this place. There is something in the air, something that I feel have smelled before. It has been bothering me even as I circled around the place from above. The stench was strong and only nullified by my current ghostly form. I remember this scent when I was still exploring some parts in The Capital… What is this…?

It is on the tip of my tongue…

At the end of the hallway was a dead end but there was an open room to the side. That must be the place where the sound came from. The scent here was stronger. To play safe, I phased through the wall and peeked inside it. It was an old kitchen with knives and silverware on the floor, or what looked to be one before whatever happen to this place ruined it as well.

I saw something move from the corner of my eye into another room. It was slow, and had short intervals of stopping before taking a step again. It sounded like something was being dragged across the floor. Whatever it was, I was too late to get a glimpse of it. I used Life Sense again, this time at a higher frequency. My surroundings pulsed from my point of view as an invisible magic enveloped the place.

Still nothing.

Impossible…

I definitely saw something move into that room ahead. It was not caused by the wind since there are no windows here. Familiars are treated as Life when it comes to magic, so why? Perhaps it was an automation powered by magical stones… I have some of those in my Treasury. But still, even if it that was the case, I would have sensed it in the first place. Why would Life Sense not work…?

Why? I did everything perfectly…

Life Sense…

Life…

Life…?

Wait… If that thing is what I think it is, then Life Sense would definitely not work. Life Sense only detects life after all…

I clasped my hands together. "Grant me to see my vile enemies, they who are enslaved, they who still walk, they who are still imprisoned in their bodies, so I may give them their rites and bring them rest…

Detect…Undead."

A white light appeared within my hands, which I released and expended to cover the entire room and beyond. I enhanced it several times and contained it to avoid detection. Soon after that, I saw the aura of the undead in the next room, it had a sickly purple tinge to it. As well as numerous others, in the room next to this, above me, below me, further ahead of me… All of them were standing still and clumped together while some where on the floor forming piles upon piles of bones and undead.

There must be at least a five hundred inside this Keep… Perhaps more.

Further below in the basement was an aura that was more compact and intact compared to the ones I see. I cannot see how big it was but the aura that it emitted was larger and stronger than any of the undead around.

That must be the necromancer that abandoned their mortality. An insult to life itself.

A Lich.

Hooh, looks like I stumbled upon an interesting place. I was getting bored just flying around.

I spread my translucent and ghostly wings and flew out of the Keep.

I turned off Presence Concealment and hovered over the open space within the walls. After waiting for several seconds, no undead came out to face me.

A shame.

It looks like I will have to draw them out.

Tearing down those doors should catch their attention.

I summoned a fireball, making it grow bigger and bigger until it lit the entire place like a miniature Sun. The grass below me burned and turned to ash, yet I did not feel anything from it. I threw it at the doors, and the entire thing exploded. Parts of the Keep started flying everywhere, a massive hole now appeared where the door was a few moments ago with some of it melting and dropping to the floor. To make sure that they won't take me lightly, I knelt down and barely touched the ground with my fingertips, and ripples soon formed. Soon after that, the place shook violently and more debris and parts of the building around me fell.

I remained hovering and crossed my legs, patiently waiting for them to rush out and come at me. Humming at tune from my other world that I still remember.

I heard the footfalls of numerous undead rush from within until they started pouring out of the hole that I made. A few of them still had rotting flesh dangling from their bones, most were skeletons still carrying the armour and weapons when they were still alive.

The holy traps that I had set soon sprung, and runes appeared and enlarged on places where they stepped. Holy light erupted here and there, melting their bones away and destroying the vile magic that bind them. One managed to survive and I blasted it with a single glance as a beam went out from my eyes. White steaks of raw holy magic floated in the air around my eyes after using them, like a gun that was just fired. There was no end to them and more swarmed out.

Holy magic is the bane of the undead, and I will make every use of it.

Tiny magic circles appeared on my fingers which released a more focused and intense variant, and I swung my hand here and there, blasting scores of undead. I sensed an arrow fly towards me and it harmlessly bounced off from my wing. The undead that fired it stood at one of the walls, more of its kin appeared behind it. There must have been a door or passageway there that I did not notice. I put my hands together and created a whip from holy magic, it hummed and the air sizzled around it as if feeling impatient at not being used too soon. It cracked as I lashed it in their direction, the parts that made contact with the undead melted and caused them to fall and crawl on the ground.

I flew above the Keep as I was being pelted by arrows that had no effect on me, taking note of the swords, spears, clubs and hammers that had fallen and opened Gates under them. The holy magic only affects the undead, leaving their worn-out armour and weapons intact. They reappeared behind me, glowing from the the white portals that connected them. After angling them downwards, I fired them with extreme speed. The undead caught in it fell like grass to a scythe, breaking bones and armour alike. I stayed like that for a while, the dropped weapons disappearing, and then reappearing behind me before being fired down once more.

Instead of a fireball like earlier, I made a large sphere filled with holy magic and hurled them downwards three at a time with two second intervals, as well as blasting arcs of lightning from my fingertips and eyes, which bounced from undead to undead, frying and stunning them before either melting away from the holy traps, the holy spheres or getting grounded to dust by the weapons that fell on them. The sounds of explosions and blasts filled and violently shook the air, some birds from the trees around getting startled and flying away from the sudden deafening noises. The sounds coming from here must be heard from far away, not to mention the lightshow that I was giving.

I scratched my head, and looked at the carnage below me.

This is too easy… If Mai was here, she would love this as a warm-up.

Undead are supposed to be terrifying and relentless enemies. They do not tire, nor feel any pain and feel the morale loss of an army on the brink of defeat. That said, their numbers are also a problem for any unlucky enough to cross their path. To the average soldier I guess.

Who would have known that a God like myself would fight them like this?

In a way, it is THEM who are unlucky today.

A pebble flew towards me from the explosion and I caught it with my mind and held it in my hand.

"Lifeless and formless you are, but I breathe life unto you. With my Divine Essence, rise and do my bidding…"

The pebble glowed and I dropped it to the ground below. It drew the soil around it, and grew until it had thick arms and legs one meter wide and stood around eleven meters in height. This was a variant golem that was mainly used during sieges, tearing down fortifications and breaking through infantry lines. The golem groaned and took a step, and then started swinging its arms. Sending dozens of undead flying everywhere. Weapons had no effect on it since its rocky skin was too hard to be pierce, they tried to climbing on top of it, hoping that their numbers and weight would bring it down but all it did was annoy the golem even further.

I also made a small flame appear on my fingertips. "Take my breathe and burn all... Fire Spirit: Scorching Serpent…"

The small flame enlarged and took the form of a massive burning snake. Its mouth wide enough to swallow a man with a single gulp. It flew down towards the undead, burning all who were unlucky enough to enter its flaming body. These Familiars were of the very lowest level, but with enhancement magic, I made them more than fifteen times stronger than before. I can still make several hundred lesser familiars, but I decided against it. The smell of burning flesh and bones was unpleasant so I made some of the wind carry it to some other place away from me.

This is WAY too easy.

I should just make a fireball large enough to be just wipe this place from the map… A firestorm burning at several hundred thousand degrees would barely put a dent on my magic reserves.

But that would make it too boring, wouldn't it?

From beyond the walls, I sensed something slowly coming, as if inspecting what in the blazes is happening here.

Without turning to it, I blasted it with an extremely condensed lightning bolt from my pointer and middle finger. It was a wolf, or at least the ashen remains of one. That must be the one that howled and made me slightly scared before I entered the Keep. I was about to laugh but I sensed another presence from within. Its aura was different from the mindless drones below. It was slowly walking and taking its time to go out. I cast Detect Undead, there are only a dozen undead left.

I used Mystic Eyes of Time Perception, and my surroundings slowed to almost a halt.

I lightly hovered over the ground and sent several arcs of holy beams on the undead that were still around. I deactivated the skill, and all of them were hit and melted away at the same time. Seriously, this skill is ridiculously overpowered.

The Familiars that I summoned stopped and returned to my side. I deactivated the holy traps that I had set in the area and stuck my wings closer to my body. I also turned off my night-vision and hid and sealed away my Divinity to hide my true identity.

I want to see this Lich for myself.

I am expecting a large and menacing cloaked figure, holding a staff befitting a necromancer with its long and skeletal fingers. Eyes that glowed red with hatred, in contrast to my white glowing ones. Bringing the stench of death wherever it went and raising the undead to do its bidding to continue its lust for the death of all life.

How should I deal with it, I wonder? Should I just end things quickly or take my time and have fun? This was the first time that I use holy magic against undead after all. There are still so many spells and other things that I want to try on it that I started grinning in anticipation…

Hehehehehehehehe…

What came out was indeed wearing a torn black cloak around itself…

But it was tiny and…

…barefoot…?

It stopped walking, and looked around the carnage that just unfolded. I could not see their face because of the black hood that covered its head. There were craters around from the numerous explosions, but it just skipped around it.

"A Flügel…? I thought your kind…" Came out a small feminine voice after she laid her eyes on me and I heard a quick intake of air. To say that I was confused by the sudden development was and understatement. She must have mistaken me as one because of my wings… It was too late to hide so I folded them and decided to walk on the same ground as her.

"Are you the Lady of this Keep? Are you a necromancer?" I asked in a loud yet neutral voice.

The small hooded figure nodded. "Yes…something like that…" She looked up at the sky and then rubbed her hands together.

Her hands and gripped the sides of her hood, and then took it off for me to see her face. Messy shoulder-length bright green hair…girly and pleasant facial features…a hairpin the shape of a skull was on the side of her head… She looked about twelve or thirteen years old.

"Necromancy is banned in Rhozgelia and is punishable by death." I say with a monotone voice. This country was notorious for cracking down spellcasters and mages practicing necromancy. In this world, necromancy is a very touchy topic. You will find many negative opinions about it from the common folk wherever you go. Though some of the Academies abroad would say otherwise, arguing that it is a valid form of magic and should be treated and respected as such. Of course, none of the Academies in Rhozgelia taught such things.

"That was before the God Hachiman disappeared in The Capital." She replied and tilted her head to the side, as if it was common knowledge.

"State your name."

Instead of answering, the little girl started walking towards me. My golem groaned at her as a warning and my serpent bared its burning fangs and hissed, but I calmed them down with a single gesture of my hand. She stopped when she was about three meters away and took several moments to give my wings a very curious-look. To make myself less intimidating, I stopped the glowing from my eyes and they went back to normal. Her small mouth turned into an "o" when I did it.

"My name…is Rushia." She said and did a little smile before bowing. "And… THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR COMING HERE!" I instinctively raised the wings on my back just before she put her hands around my waist in a hug. She rushed and rubbed her head on my torso, laughing and giggling all the while.

I looked down on the little girl who hugged me out of nowhere, and then back to my golem and serpent who looked just confused as myself. They tilted their bodies to the side at the same time in confusion. In a very comical fashion, the flames on my serpent dimmed down and its jaw went limp and hanging.

Well…

I certainly did not expect this.

After cutting the last pieces of meat with a dagger that I always keep on my hip, I let them roast near the fire that I made with sticks from nearby. It was still fresh and bloody, I had taken off my robe earlier and rolled up the sleeves on my cotton shirt. What remained of the deer was behind me, I used its internal organs to fuel the fire and occasionally blew embers on it to keep it going. The little green-haired girl, Rushia, was across me. She imitated me and was disappointed when no flame came out of her mouth. She curiously looked at what I was doing and poked the deer meat that was almost edible with her finger.

"Careful, you might burn yourself…" I say and she immediately retracted her hand.

"Ah, sorry…" She said with a small voice and looked down on her feet, sometimes looking up to meet my eyes. Her bright red eyes were fascinating to look at. I sighed and leaned back on the tree, grunting and readjusting myself several times from how uncomfortable it was because my wings were still there. Even though I reduced their size so I can sit down properly, I still really wanted to lie down like normal. To my right was a large column of smoke in the distance. I had burned Grezny Stronghold to the ground to prevent it from being misused.

I reached into the sturdy leather bag that I secretly brought out earlier and silently opened a Gate inside, taking out a silver mug. I cannot really show her that I can just take things out from mid-air yet, so this was what I came up with. I filled it with water that I collected from the air around us, funneling themselves into the mug.

"Here, drink up." I handed it to her.

"Thank you!" She smiled and took the mug from me with both of her hands and downed it in one go. "That was amazing Mister! How did you do that?!"

"Magic of course." I gave her a small smile of my own.

Rushia was born a year or two after The Capital fell and Rhozgelia had no central authority or leader. What remained of the armed forces had fled to the allied nations or turned to guerrilla tactics. The war had moved elsewhere after the country had succumbed to the chaos and disorder, but that didn't stop opportunists from trying to take Grezny Stronghold. It stood for several years until that fateful day when they were overwhelmed. The Capital had fallen at that time but there were some surviving Generals and Admirals who were still actively engaging in the fight.

This little girl was the sole daughter of the Lord of Grenzy Stronghold. She had died back then when the war was still ongoing from a sickness that plagued her ever since she was an infant. Unfortunately, her Mother had passed away while bringing her to this world. Her Father, in his grief nearing madness, initiated a forbidden ritual that would revive her and make her well again. But it was interrupted when they were suddenly attacked by soldiers from a hostile nation that had somehow entered the area without their notice.

Numerous unknown factors happened.

The battle was extremely bloody and both sides fought to the last man. The lost souls around must have been drawn to her, and the dead bodies in the Keep rose again and became undead as they had unknowingly continued the ritual that was interrupted. Their sole duty was to protect her and the place itself from outsiders. Any who were unlucky enough to fall were quickly absorbed into their ranks. And that continued even after the war had moved elsewhere. Bandits, refugees, soldiers and others…

She said that during all those many years, she was in suspended animation, in between life and death as her body floated and remained inside a pool of condensed magic that sustained her. She had some sort of consciousness, peering into the minds of her undead guards, floating around the Keep, but that was it. She cannot converse nor interact with them which completely cancelled out the possibility of her being free. The destruction that I caused had awoken her and she was finally released from her seal.

That was why she was so happy earlier.

She explained it, after fervently demanding that I bring her along, as we walked away from the burning Keep. I could not just leave her alone, she would not survive all by herself out here. As we were walking, she could not stop herself from touching my wings as she continued in her trance-like state. She had no other connection to the place since her Father was already dead. Grezny Stronghold had been her home for all of her life and she has no other relatives alive aside from her Father. He had died protecting her. Those undead were trapped in those bodies by the spell, and even though she could not hear their voices, she knew that they wanted to be free.

I was supposed to immediately fly to my next destination, one of the Rhozgelian strongholds at the border of the country, and then to the villages to see if they were still there standing. This was the 5th place that I have been to after leaving The Capital three days ago. I have been flying and soaring ever since. When I need to sleep, I suspend myself in mid-air and drew the clouds around me to hide myself. The two castles and three villages that I visited were either abandoned or had burned to the ground a century ago. I still have more places to go and I really want to resume my journey but…

I am stuck with this little girl at the moment…

"Mr. Flügel! I think the meat is ready!" She said and I reached out and handed her the stick with deer meat after checking it. I nearly moved it with my mind and thankfully I managed to stop myself. I have grown so used to moving things that way, my gait earlier was also strange since I felt out of place when I stepped and walked on the ground instead of hovering over it.

"Are you cold?" I ask.

"Nope!"

"...I see. Do not hesitate to ask me anything."

She nodded vigorously and closed her eyes in concentration. I was about to reach into her mind to see and hear what she was thinking about but decided against it. She is not Mai, where I can just mentally take a peek. I might cause some irreversible damage. "Okay. What's your name Mister Flügel?"

I started chuckling since she asked the very question that I hope she would avoid. "My name is a secret." I put a finger on my lips and give her a small grin. "Think of me as your big brother for now…"

She smiled before shortly giving me a wide smile that tugged at my heartstrings. "Okay Onii-chan!"

HNG-!

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

I gripped my chest through my robes.

What's this feeling? Why do I feel so warm inside?! Why do I feel like shamelessly squirming from delight?! Did my other self have an endearing little sister?! This must be the mortal part of me squirming with delight from being called an "Onii-san"!

I had unconsciously flapped my wings wildly from how giddy I was feeling. The fire went out and leaves started flying everywhere. I should get a grip on myself!

I'm a GOD! A God wouldn't get flustered like this!

"Nii! Is there something wrong?! Are you hurt?" She asked and fearlessly came to me, unafraid of being hit by my long and feathery appendages. I immediately stopped writhing and jerking on the ground like a xenomorph was about to burst out of my chest.

Wait…what?

What in blazes is a xenomorph? These random memories that keep coming back and disappearing are useless if I don't know the context behind them! I might as well just forget about them!

She knelt right next to me after I sat up and I took the chance to look at her.

Her life force I mean.

All races have different life force's of their own. It differs it tinge and hue but it's still the same wherever you go. A God's "life" force is usually blinding white or shining gold, for some reason, mine was a mix of the two. Only a fellow God can see it. If a God revealed it to a mortal, they would go insane from witnessing such a thing before turning to dust from the raw power. The little girl beside me was definitely a human, but there was a portion of it that glowed purple. An undead's and also a sign of necromancy that's usually seen in the undead Lich. That must be why she still hasn't aged after that fateful day.

She's part undead basically. Around 1/5th of her. It may sound small, but for a living being, it is a huge part of her.

"Yes I'm fine. I must have overexerted myself or something…" She believed me and started touching my wings again as if trying to calm me down. It felt kind of nice, but still weird. I left her alone as I leaned forward and cleaned up the mess I made. Getting the fire back on, picking up and cleaning the meat that fell and getting the leaves that have gotten in between my feathers. Then, I felt her put her small hand around one...

And then pulled at it.

"OUCH! Oi!" I instantly raise my wings and seethed in pain. She started giggling and while curiously looking at the white thing that she pulled from my wing. Seriously, I let my guard down and this immediately happens.

I returned a grimace when she grinned and looked up at me. Ugh, I can't really get mad at her with that look that she's giving me...

"Rushia." I ruffled her hair as she started giggling. I should get a comb from my Treasury for her tomorrow, her hair is a bit messy...

"Hmm?"

"How old are you? Right now I mean."

She blinked for several moments and then looked down, counting her fingers then I heard her mutter to herself. "Uuuuhhhh… The number is too big! Rushia isn't good with numbers!" She shook and held her head, as if just thinking about it gives her a massive headache.

I chuckled and patted her head then I funneled and directed some of my magic to my finger and drew on the air. It glowed gold and hummed where I touched, and I heard her gasp in amazement. The mathematical symbols here and from my other world are different, but I already know how to write because of the books that I have read.

"Hmm… If I had disapp- I mean, if your God Hachiman disappeared some time before you were born… Let's say you were birthed into this world three years after that unfortunate event, and he was gone roughly 178 years ago… That would make you 175 years old." I say as I drew and did the calculations in the air.

"WHAT?! RUSHIA IS AN OLD LADY?! But I'm thirteen!" She exclaimed and stood up, her torn cloak almost getting snagged by some roots nearby.

"No, you're not an old lady." I checked her life force again, its still that of a young girl's. "You haven't aged a day from the looks of things. In fact, I'm not sure if you'll age like normal…" I mutter the last part under my breathe.

"O-Oh is that so…?" She suddenly calmed down and plopped back down next to me. "I don't really feel any different from before though." I decided not to tell her about it since I have a feeling that she already knows. "Anyway, we'll talk more tomorrow, okay? For now, you should have your fill before sleeping." I say and she smiled and nodded vigorously.

She got another stick filled with cooked deer meat and handed it to me with her bright red youthful eyes. "Let's eat more, Onii-san!"

She had quite an appetite for her small size and ate and ate until she was about to burst. After drinking her third mug of water, she collapsed beside me and used my wing as her makeshift pillow. I scratched my head at the sight since she was already fast asleep. I silently opened a Gate and took out a robe completely identical to mine but at a smaller size. I'll make her take off and replace these rags that she's wearing tomorrow... After I put it over her, I sighed and looked at the fire that was keeping us warm for the mean time.

I honestly did not think that I would have a new companion this early.

I have a feeling that Mai will get really jealous when I come back...

Not gonna lie I'm really having fun writing this lol. It's really a nice break from all the heavy drama that's about to start in my main fic. I'll update it within the week or something, so raise your hands to the air and send me your powers so I can stop being lazy and start writing!

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

I don't really have much to say for now honestly, so I'll wrap things up quickly!

As always, favourite, follow, review or send me a PM if you want!

See you next week!
