Rachel was in her office in Moonbase with Numbuh 86 and Numbuh 60, they were on their break, The Supreme Leader was watching a cartoon on her computer while Fanny and Patton were arm-wrestling on the floor when they heard a knock on the door
Rachel sighed and got up to answer the door only to be greeted by an agent dressed as a deliveryman "Good day to you Sir, some candies from Brazil just arrived for you" The delivery man handed her a clipboard
Rachel signed it smiling "I just hope they taste better than that black licorice I got last month"
Patton and Fanny got up looking at the small box Rachel carried to her table "You are going to share it with us I hope?" Patton asked grinning at her
"My sugar levels are dropping, out of the way" Numbuh 86 pushed Patton aside approaching Rachel's table
Patton grabbed her shoulder and pushed her away "Sorry Fulbright, I need it more than you" He laughed
"Would you two calm down? there is enough for us three" Rachel sighed "Then took a look at the Label "Paçoca from Sector B, Peanut candy from Brazil… Huh I did a inspection on them last week" Rachel handed two pieces of the Peanut candy to Patton and Fanny
The Two operatives looked between themselves both still a bit angry at each other for pushing them earlier then looked at the candy "Looks pretty simple" Patton said
The three of them ate their candy at the same time, after a few seconds a pillar of energy surged from the three as they screamed in pain as they were lifted in the air by a supernatural force
A few hours later Sector V was called into Moonbase by Numbuh 65.3 "They said it was urgent but they didn't say what was happening, Numbuh 65.3 isn't like that most of the time" Numbuh 1 said
Numbuh 65.3 was guarding a door to Numbuh 362's office when Numbuh 1 and his team appeared
That was when Numbuh 1 noticed a familiar figure right next to Numbuh 65.3 resting her back on the wall
"Hallo Abigail" Henrietta Von Marzipan waved at Numbuh 5 smiling
"Henrietta" Numbuh 5 smiled "What did you do this time?" Her face expression turned to one of worry
"I know this may be hard to believe but I'm here today purely for helping as a candy hunter" She smiled at Numbuh 5
"What? Stick Beard? Black Licorice Pirates?" Numbuh 5 asked
Henrietta sighed "Perdition peanut candy" She said as she opened the door to Rachel's office
Rachel was sitting at her table resting her legs on top of it, she wore a dirty sweatshirt full of stains and a pair of boxer shorts underwear and wore a pair of slippers with different socks on each foot, her hair was messy and she had a dumb smile on her face while playing a portable videogame, she then took her eyes out of her screen and looked at Numbuh 1 and Sector V "Heeeey…" She got up and approached them "You here to play with me?"
"R-Rachel?!" Numbuh 1 pinched his nose while looking at his superior "W-What happened to you? You stink!"
"Mom forgot to clean my other stuff this morning" she shrugged then put her hand inside her underwear and scratched her butt in front of everyone
"Y-You aren't even wearing pants!" Numbuh 1 said embarrassed at her and for her
"Eh" She shrugged again "It is my office anyway" She smiled at him with a smile that made her look like an idiot "Anyway, you wanna go for a match? I'm lazing around" she laughed as she turned her attention back again to her video game
Numbuh 4 and Numbuh 3 turned their attention to a few sobbing noises coming from a girl sitting meekly in an armchair Rachel used to rest on calm days, the girl wore a light green sweater with a pink skirt and pink sneakers, her hair was tied with a pink bow and it covered her eyes, she then noticed people staring at them and looked away shyly "I… C-Could you stop staring… please?" It was Numbuh 86, she turned away immediately "S-Sorry… I didn't mean to be rude" She covered her face a bit scared and embarrassed
Numbuh 2 and Numbuh 5 looked at a boy with a long green shirt and black hair, he was in the corner of the room visibly scared, he noticed the operatives looking at him and then rubbed his hand against his face "Is there something on my face?" He asked them a bit suspicious
"Uhhh… No, You are fine" Numbuh 2 smiled sincerely at him
Numbuh 60 kept rubbing his face "I look terrible… I'm the worst… haven't cleaned it enough this morning…" He said feeling a bit wary of the operatives now
"Motivation" Henrietta said while looking at Rachel who was back to her table still playing her game without a care in the world "Assertiveness" She said while looking at Numbuh 86 who hid behind the armchair as everyone turned their attention to her "Confidence" She looked at Numbuh 60 who was now looking at them with a suspicious look a bit scared of them "Perdition Peanut Candy is similar to the caramel curse but… it is only temporary, they should be back to normal by the end of this afternoon" Henrietta said
"That's great, problem solved right?" Numbuh 4 asked
"We still need to know who gave them the Peanut Candy Numbuh 4" Numbuh 1 crossed his arms
"Actually… no" Numbuh 65.3 scratched the back of his head a bit awkwardly
"Huh?" Numbuh 1 looked at Numbuh 65.3 confused
"I just need you guys to babysit these three, Henrietta will take care of who send it for me, it would be a scandal if high officers like them were seen like this, I'm interim Supreme Leader when they are incapacitated so I can't watch out for them…" Numbuh 65.3 and Henrietta slowly backed away from the room and closed it leaving Sector V alone with the cursed Moonbase Trio
Numbuh 4 groaned "They aren't babies, even with the personalities reversed" He said "Let's get out of here"
"I'm not disobeying orders and I'm certainly not abandoning a friend" Numbuh 1 approached Rachel, he pulled a chair and took out a portable video game from his pocket then started playing with her
Numbuh 3 took a Rainbow Monkey from a bag she was carrying and approached Numbuh 86 with it "You wanna play? I have a tea set with me and another two Rainbow Monkeys" she smiled at Fanny
"A-Are you sure it is okay?" Numbuh 86 asked her shyly
"Of course!" Numbuh 3 said as she took out another rainbow monkey from her bag and handed it to Numbuh 86 who sat in the floor meekly and started playing while looking a bit embarrassed
"How are you feeling?" Numbuh 2 approached Patton who was a bit wary of him and Numbuh 5
"I don't know… just leave me alone…" He said trying to cut off contact as soon as possible
"Are you sure you want us to go away?" Numbuh 5 smiled at him
He remained quiet for a second "I…" He groaned then got up to try leaving through the door only to be stopped by Numbuh 2 and Numbuh 5 who grabbed him by the arm "Get off me!" he said clearly, very nervous at the situation "Just leave me alone!" He ended up falling to the floor with them, he then opened his eyes only to see he had fallen in the middle of Numbuh 3's tea party with Numbuh 86, he fell right in front of Fanny as their eyes met close to each other
Numbuh 86 and Numbuh 60 blushed and suddenly got in panic upon getting close to each other, both of them turned away from each other very embarrassed, without saying a word Numbuh 60 got up and went to a corner of the room "I… I'm sorry…" Numbuh 86 said
Numbuh 60 kept quiet after hearing that "S-Should I say sorry as well?" Numbuh 60 thought to himself while tapping his feet in anxiety
Numbuh 1 looked at the scene a bit worried about their condition then got back to his own hell as he went back to focusing on the game he was playing with Rachel, they were playing Tetris and while Numbuh 1 was doing his usual playstyle Rachel would just pile block pieces as she saw fit "So… Rachel, do you enjoy this game?"
"I guess… I don't really care about it… I'm playing it just because" she laughed
"Y-Yeah…" Numbuh 1 could barely recognize her, when they got spare time to play it she would not only try her best but actually get mad if she lost against him "S-So… don't you wanna fix your hair at least?"
"Huh?" Rachel looked at him confused "I just got out of bed, chill out Nigel" she laughed at him
It was clearly a lie, it was afternoon already, she was lying just to not get her hair fixed "If you say so…" Numbuh 1 felt like being slowly tortured
Rachel suddenly let out a burp and sighed "I'm gonna take a piss…" she left the room and went inside a bathroom she had in her office
Numbuh 1 banged his head on the table after she left "This is torture…"
"Unmotivated Rachel is crazy…" Numbuh 4 whistled, even he was a bit impressed by seeing the supreme leader like that "You want me to cover for you?"
"I appreciate it but… I'm her friend, I have to be able to handle her at her worst as well" Numbuh 1 sighed
"I don't get it, if this is her without motivation then why is she acting all gross like that?" Numbuh 2 asked
"She lost her motivation which includes her desire for wanting to be presentable around others… she just doesn't care about anything the way she is right now, she just wants to laze around all day" Numbuh 1 said still depressed by seeing his leader like that
Rachel had returned from the bathroom and sat back on her chair then grabbed her video game and went back to playing it with Numbuh 1
The hours passed and nothing had changed, Rachel kept playing her game with Numbuh 1 while Fanny and Patton avoided each other, it was almost time for them to turn back
"So…" Numbuh 2 was sitting next to Numbuh 60 who sat quietly in a corner of the office sulking about what happened
"So…?" He kept sulking while turning his eyes to Numbuh 2
"You got embarrassed there when you got close to Numbuh 86 earlier, I got surprised" Numbuh 2 grinned at him
Patton blushed "You are misunderstanding… and even if you weren't…" he rolled his eyes "She is a bit out of my league I have no chance…" He sighed, they were speaking in a low tone of voice to not get the girl's attention
Numbuh 86 sighed while Numbuh 3 poured pretend tea for her
"Are you okay Fanny?" Numbuh 3 asked her a bit worried
"D-Don't call me that in front of everyone…" Numbuh 86 said "I think he hates me… Numbuh 60 I mean… he has been staring at me after what happened…" she blushed while whispering to Numbuh 3
"He is probably just embarrassed" Numbuh 3 giggled "It must be love" she giggled again
"D-Don't be ridiculous!" Numbuh 86 said out loud in a nervous tone, everyone in the room turned their attention to her she then blushed and lowered her head
Rachel shrugged and resumed playing
"They are just a little bit shy" Numbuh 1 said trying to make small talk with Rachel
"What is the point? Just go ahead and say you like that person, you only live once" she laughed
"Weird, that is the first smart thing I heard you say all day and yet is so contrary to what the normal Rachel would say" Numbuh 1 laughed
"Do you like someone?" Rachel asked while she kept playing her game
"I… can't really say… What about you?" Numbuh 1 started sweating seeing the mousetrap he got himself in
"Yeah, You" Rachel kept playing, not even blushing she just laughed as she finally beat Numbuh 1 who stopped playing all of a sudden "Going easy on me?" she snickered then looked at him
Numbuh 1 was blushing bright red, the rest of the operatives in the room looked at Rachel in shock "R-Rachel you like LIKE me?"
"Yeah, you are pretty cool" she got up and stretched herself as she walked to a mini-fridge she had in her office and drank half a bottle of soda, she then proceeded to clean her mouth with the sleeve of her sweatshirt "You want some?" just as she was about to offer the bottle of soda a sudden pain could be felt on all three cursed operatives, the pillars of light surrounded them as they were lifted in the air again, Rachel then slowly descended back to the floor, she had her normal clothes back and her hair was back to normal she looked at Numbuh 1 then at everyone else "I…" Rachel blushed then ran out of the room in a flash with her face bright red in shame Numbuh 1 followed her
"When that Henrietta girl catches who did this I'm going to juvie hall no doubt" Numbuh 86 said while rubbing her head a bit tired
"Tell me about it…" Patton was laying on the floor also tired after the transformation
"You really think I'm out of your league?" She blushed smiling at him
"You heard that?" Patton blushed "Oh and by the way… I don't hate you, just so you know…" he scratched the back of his head a bit embarrassed
"I… I'm a bit hungry…" Numbuh 86 approached him "I'm going to grab a bite in the cafeteria, you coming?" She extended her hand to him trying to avoid meeting eyes with him
"You bet" he grabbed her hand then got up, they suddenly were face to face again, Patton went ahead and stole a kiss from her and laughed "Ha! Too slow" he laughed while they left the office holding hands
"Don't be a brat" she rolled her eyes laughing then kissed him back
"I'm going to vomit…" Numbuh 4 held his hand against his mouth doing a grossed out expression
Numbuh 3 looked at him angrily and smashed her tea set on his head furious at his comment as she left the office blushing
While that Numbuh 1 was running after Rachel as the girl ran for her Roadstar "Slow down!"
"I'm going to live in seclusion away from everything! I'm never going to be able to forget this embarrassment!" she said while getting in her Roadstar and leaving moonbase, Numbuh 1 entered in his Roadstar and followed her to Earth
A few minutes later as she approached her home Rachel Noticed a shadow on top of her she looked up only to see Numbuh 1 jumping out of his flying car into hers "I just wanna talk!" he said while fighting with Rachel for the wheel of her roadstar, when they suddenly looked out front only to see a giant tree, they crashed right through and as her car feel in a playground near her home
Rachel was laying in a sandpit with a couple of bruises on her face and leaves on her hair while Numbuh 1 was laying on his belly on a slide also with a few bruises, she got up and walked to Numbuh 1 limping "This will leave a mark…" she said to herself
"Nah, you've been through worse" He laughed as Rachel turned him
"Sorry for confessing like that, I was totally gross" Rachel said
"You were a bit more honest though" Numbuh 1 laughed "I love you too" he blushed while smiling at her
Rachel looked at him surprised "I…" she sighed then smiled at him "I'm glad" she helped him get up and walked with him to a nearby bench "Sorry for running like that as well"
"That happens... I guess…" Numbuh 1 said as he managed to sit on the bench feeling some pain all over his body
Rachel's communicator started beeping, she grabbed it and answered "Yeah? Him?!" Rachel sighed "Alright… Yeah just make sure he stays in arctic prison for some time" she said then turned off her communicator "Stickybeard send those peanut candies"
"Henrietta caught him?" Numbuh 1 said
"Yeah… look at us talking about work even now" She laughed "Hey, is it okay if I kiss you?"
Numbuh 1 went ahead and kissed her first by pulling her close with his arm then felt a sharp pain on his shoulder "Ow… I have a bruise there… bad idea…" he said
"Nahh… The idea was great" Rachel chuckled then kissed him back
