Numbuh 2 and Numbuh 5 were sitting on the bleachers watching people slowly entering the gym, which was beautifully decorated with blue and silver decorations all around "Any sign of them?"
"Nah, the party has just started they should take their sweet time" Numbuh 5 snickered
"What was that little laugh?" Numbuh 2 grinned at Numbuh 5 "You know something I don't?"
"I shouldn't be talking about it with you but… Numbuh 3 told me something yesterday" Numbuh 5 chuckled "If Numbuh 4 isn't confessing until the end of today's dance she is going to confess"
"Niiiice" Numbuh 2 laughed "Took her sweet time…" Numbuh 2 drank his punch he then suddenly felt a kiss on his cheek "We should invite them to a double date"
"Might as well make it a triple date if everything goes well for Numbuh 1 tonight" Numbuh 5 laughed
"Make it quadruple" Numbuh 2 pointed to the entrance of the gym, Numbuh 86 and Numbuh 60 were holding hands both blushing and smiling while being greeted by a girl responsible for the guest list
Numbuh 5 chuckled "Numbuh 5's gotta take a look at this, come on" Abby got up with Numbuh 2 followed soon behind, soon they approached Fanny and Patton "Didn't know you danced with boys Numbuh 86" Numbuh 5 grinned at the girl
"Well you know… he said I was too much for him and I wasn't about to take that lying down" She grinned at Numbuh 5
"Suuure… that's why you accepted" She snickered "Numbuh 5 is happy for you anyway" She smiled at her
"We… are just friends" Numbuh 86 blushed "Isn't that right?" She turned to Numbuh 60 who was laughing with Numbuh 2
"Yeah, of course, Nothing to see here" He talked it off then went back to talk to Numbuh 2
"Uh-huh…" Numbuh 5 got closer to Patton then sniffed him "Mango" She grinned at Numbuh 86
"If you tell anyone I swear to god…" Numbuh 86 blushed then approached Numbuh 5 with a threatening look on her face
"To be honest… it is pretty obvious, Numbuh 5 doesn't need to tell anyone" Abby laughed
Numbuh 86 grabbed Patton's hand and went inside the gym with Patton while mumbling something angrily
"Didn't expect to see those two together, Numbuh 60 must have a screw loose to dance with that gorilla" Numbuh 5 heard a familiar voice coming from behind them, it was Numbuh 4 and Numbuh 3
"Hey! She is my friend" Numbuh 3 looked a bit upset by Numbuh 4's comment she then smiled looking at Numbuh 86 as she hung out with Numbuh 60 near the punch bowl "They are cute together"
"Thanks for nothing by the way" Numbuh 4 frowned at Numbuh 2 "Had to get here with my bike
"Last time I lent you one of the vehicles you crashed it into a lake" Numbuh 2 laughed "Don't worry, I think you learned your lesson" Numbuh 2 patted Numbuh 4 on the back smiling at him
"So? Is Numbuh 1 here yet?" Numbuh 3 turned to Numbuh 5 and asked her looking very excited
"Nah, you were one of the first ones, Numbuh 2 and I were taste-tasting the food, good stuff" Numbuh 5 said "Her house is the farthest one from here" Numbuh 5 said then suddenly heard familiar voices
"That pinball machine is amazing, it was really worth it converting the Coolbus to a limo" Numbuh 362 said while entering the gym with Numbuh 1
"Here they are, the couple of the night" Numbuh 2 chuckled
Numbuh 362 blushed and laughed a bit while Numbuh 1 frowned a bit "Now Numbuh 2, We are here as friends" Numbuh 1 said a bit nervous with the prospect of his friends saying anything compromising
"Don't be a jerk" Numbuh 5 punched Numbuh 2's shoulder lightly "Have fun you two" Numbuh 5 waved at the two while they went to talk with Numbuh 86 who was talking with a few friends while Numbuh 60 tasted the punch "Don't try forcing those two, they will come around eventually" Numbuh 5 said
Suddenly an upbeat song started playing
"Well that's our cue" Numbuh 4 grabbed Numbuh 3's hand and went with her to the dance floor
"See you two later" Numbuh 3 waved at her friends as Numbuh 4 threw her up in the air then grabbed her, they started dancing like two pros, everyone had their eyes glued on them applauding their dancing skills
"Never took Numbuh 4 for a dancer" Numbuh 362 said applauding the couple as well while grabbing a slice of pizza from a plate
"He gets in so much trouble with his parents that he ended up doing a full ballroom dance course, kinda hard to be bad at dancing after that" Numbuh 1 smiled at his two teammates
"They like each other don't they?" Rachel asked smiling a them
"Pretty much, they are a bit shy though" Numbuh 1 laughed
"Owww… That's cute" She giggled "You wanna dance?" She walked forward and extended her hand to him
"I Should warn you I'm not very good at it" Numbuh 1 said a bit nervous
"So am I" Rachel laughed then led him to the dance floor she readied herself to dance like never before when suddenly the song changed to a slow one
Numbuh 3 smiled at Numbuh 4 who blushed in response a bit nervous, she rested her head on his shoulder and hugged him "You lead" She giggled
Numbuh 4 took a deep breath and started dancing with Numbuh 3 to the slow romantic music
"Bad timing…" Numbuh 1 laughed a bit nervous "Perhaps we should go back…" Numbuh 1 tried to turn around only for Rachel to hold his hand firmly, he turned to her only to see her smiling a bit shyly her cheeks blushing a bit
"Hey… It will be fun" She got closer to him then rested her head on his shoulder "Slow and steady…" She said
Numbuh 1 gulped a bit scared but started dancing nonetheless "I… Sorry about this, must be embarrassing for you"
"Yeah… but in a good way" In the middle of dance she stopped and faced him only to plant a kiss on his lips, she chuckled "Sorry…"
"N-No… it's fine… actually it's perfect" He smiled at her then proceeded with the dance "I love you Rachel"
"I love you too…" She smiled at him still a bit embarrassed
"Here you go, twenty bucks" Numbuh 5 was smiling at the couple while giving money to the Party DJ
"There is a Yipper card missing" The boy said
"Hoagie…" Numbuh 5 smiled at Numbuh 2
Numbuh 2 was smiling at the couple but soon turned to a sad expression "Number 99…" He took a yipper card from his pocket and handed it to the DJ "Well… At least it was for a good cause… You wanna dance?" Numbuh 2 asked
"Thought you would never ask" Numbuh 5 laughed then walked with Numbuh 2 to the dance floor
Numbuh 86 and Numbuh 60 were dancing to the slow music "Hey… you wanna leave early? I really wanna kiss you right now…" Numbuh 86 blushed a bit
Numbuh 60 stayed quiet and just approached her, he kissed her while dancing "No need to" he smiled at her
"If my father hears of this you are as good as dead" She laughed then kissed him back
"I'll be fine, let's worry about this later" He chuckled
Numbuh 4 noticed everyone around him was kissing "Hey Numbuh 3…"
"Yes?" Numbuh 3 blushed and smiled at Numbuh 4
"Everyone is kissing… It's a bit embarrassing being the only one left out you know, so…" Numbuh 4 blushed
Numbuh 3 giggled "So?"
"Would you like to… Kiss, like right now?" Numbuh 4 was looking at her a bit nervous
Numbuh 3 smiled at him, she was feeling a bit awkward but happy nonetheless "That won't do… if you confessed maybe?" She said
"Alright…" Numbuh 4 took a deep breath "I love you" Numbuh 4 sighed
Numbuh 3 giggled "I love you too Wally… I'm glad you confessed first, I was planning to confess today if you didn't" she then got closer to him and they both kissed
They both stopped dancing and stood there in the middle of the dance floor kissing "You… wanna go grab something to drink?"
"Sure!" Numbuh 3 held his hand and led him out of the dancefloor, near the punch table she met the rest of her team including Numbuh 1 who was being teased by Numbuh 5 by that point while Rachel laughed "Numbuh 1, congratulation" Numbuh 3 smiled at her sector leader
"T-Thanks Numbuh 3… You aren't joining Numbuh 5 on the teasing are you?" Numbuh 1 asked
"No way, you two are so cute together" Numbuh 3 giggled then took a cup of punch along with Numbuh 4
"I have a pretty sharp eye…" Rachel turned her attention to Numbuh 5 "Thanks" she smiled at Abby
"No problem" Numbuh 5 smiled at Rachel then turned her attention to Numbuh 2 "It was worth it"
"Yeah, it was… I will miss that card though" Numbuh 2 sighed
A few hours later the dance had already finished, the first to bring his date home was Numbuh 60 who parked in front of Numbuh 86's house "Today was… Fun" He smiled at her "Thanks for not punching me during the kiss" He laughed then gave her a light punch on the shoulder
"I couldn't… it was too good" She smiled at him "See you tomorrow…" she waved him goodbye then turned around but was taken by surprise as Numbuh 60 pulled her arm towards him and kissed her again, at that exact moment the door to her house had opened her mother was smiling at them, a camera flash took them by surprise
"Don't worry… I won't tell your father" She chuckled cheerfully then went inside
"Great… As if things couldn't get more complicated… Bye" She waved him goodbye, she was blushing a deep tone of red while smiling to herself
"Today was great.. except for my card" Numbuh 2 laughed while walking the sidewalk with Numbuh 5 bringing her home
"It was nice, went better than I expected" she smiled then stopped in front of her house "Thanks" she got closer to him and kissed Hoagie on the lips "See you tomorrow?" She smiled at him
"You bet…" Numbuh 2 had a lovestruck expression on his face he walked a bit sloppily back home after that humming a song happily
"Sorry for not confessing before" Numbuh 4 said while Numbuh 3 sat on top of his bike's handlebar
"It took me quite a while too, don't worry silly" She giggled "Let's go on a date" She said
"No rainbow monkey parks or movies…" Numbuh 4 stopped in front of her house
"Alright… No wrestling matches" Numbuh 3 said
"Deal…" he walked with her to the door then kissed her, suddenly the door opened, her parents caught them kissing "Uhhh…" Numbuh 4 looked at her father a bit scared "Hello… Sir?" He smiled at him a bit nervous
Numbuh 3's father started tearing up "I preferred when she was interested only in Rainbow monkeys!" he started bawling as he hugged his wife and hid his face on her shoulder
Mrs. Sanban was patting her husband's back comforting her while smiling at the couple "Sorry about him he is a bit… dramatic, How was the dance?"
"It was nice…" They both said a bit embarrassed "It was great" Numbuh 3 blushed but was radiant while looking at her mother
"I can see that much" Her mother chuckled. "Well… It's getting late, you want any help getting back home?" She looked at Numbuh 4
"N-No… I'm on my bike I will be fine, Thanks Mrs Sanban" Numbuh 4 went for his bike then waved Numbuh 3 goodbye
"He is a nice boy" Her mother said while Numbuh 4 disappeared in the distance
"Yeah…" Numbuh 3 giggled then went inside with her parents her father still bawling in his wife's shoulder
Numbuh 362 sighed while she took off her jacket "Wasn't expecting have so much stuff happening today" She said smiling, they were in the Elimonater on the way to Rachel's home
"Sorry… I was a bit afraid to damage our friendship by asking you out" Numbuh 1
"Don't be, I was the same" She laughed "In fact, I was very scared when I kissed you" she blushed a bit
"Look… sorry if we won't be able to go out as much… that was always a problem with me and Lizzie…" Numbuh 1 said a bit sad
"Are you kidding? I'm busier than you" She approached him and kissed "We will make it work don't worry… I don't care if we can't go once a week to some amusement park" She laughed
"You are amazing…" Numbuh 1 smiled then kissed her back
They parked in front of her home soon after "See you tomorrow?" She asked in front of her house's door
"Of course, well… I mean… if you have a mission for me or something like that" He said a bit nervous
"We will see…" She chuckled then went inside her home, she sighed after making sure Numbuh 1 was gone "Today was great…" she smiled to herself then went to her room
The next day over Numbuh 1 was in the mission debriefing room "I feel like… I should thank you guys for yesterday"
His team laughed "No need" Numbuh 5 kept laughing "It was great for everyone"
"Speak for yourself, I want my Yipper card back Numbuh 1" Numbuh 2 said
"Relax, I'm sure you will get it back somehow" Numbuh 5 laughed while patting him on the back
"What was it? Number 99?" Numbuh 4 asked while resting his head on Numbuh 3's lap
"Yup… cost me a fortune" Numbuh 2 sighed
Numbuh 4 groaned then grabbed something out of his pocket "Here, the Dj whistled at Numbuh 3 after we left the dance" He handed Numbuh 2 his card "Gave it to me in exchange for only getting thrown in the trash can instead of getting beaten up"
"You could have got Numbuh 5's money too" Numbuh 5 said
"I'm not grabbing a guy's money in exchange for not beating him up, Do I look like a bully to you?" Numbuh 4 asked
"Actually…" Numbuh 5 grinned
"Now we are talking…" Numbuh 2 said while looking at his card "Yesterday was perfect…" He laughed to himself while polishing his card.
