Ozai really appealed to me in this episode. The guy is practically begging for Daddy's attention and Dad favors Iroh. So Ozai turns around and favors his second-born child. I think he fed Azula the history question so she could look special in front of Grandpa. Ozai was clearly parading around his daughter and trying to get his father's love.
