Dalthale places his hand on the ground while activating his semblance, Weaponsmith, causing a capture net to form under Ruby, catching the girl and bouncing her into the arms of Dylan. "Just dropping in?" the second twin asked the red reaper, causing said girl to blush and groan, while the nearby blond bombshell voiced her approval of the pun.

Dylan puts Ruby down and bows in the direction of Yang, grinning the entire time, causing the older twin to think his younger brother on the head in annoyance.

"Let's go, lover boy," Dalthale said while grabbing a queen piece and dragging Dylan, who's crying anime style. "Did your sister just fall from the sky?" Blake asked Yang. "I-" Yang starts, but was interrupted.

Suddenly, A ginger head came riding in on an ursa. The ursa falls down as the hammer wielder rolls off. "Aww." She pouted. "It's broken.." A guy runs in panting, desperate to catch his breath. "Nora..please, don't do that again.." He looks up expecting to see his friend, but saw that she was already gone.

Nora examines the rook piece, and grabs it. "I'm queen of the castle! I'm queen of the castle!" She repeats. "Nora!" She looks to the direction of the voice calling her name, "Hehehe. Coming, Ren!" She replies. "Did that girl just came in riding on an ursa?" Blake asked. "I-" Yang starts, but was once again interrupted.

Jaune comes flying into the clearing, smashing into a tree in the process, while Pyrrha runs in as well, being chased by a Death Stalker, a grimm that takes the form of a huge scorpion. "Jaune!" Pyrrha called out to her partner. "Pyrrha!" He responded while still stuck in a tree.

"Yang!" Ruby called to her sister. "Ruby!" Yang replied. "Nora!" Nora interrupted. "Did she just run in with a death stalker on her tail?" Blake , once again, asked a question. "Grrrr.. I can't take it anymore!" Yang explodes in anger. Fire coming out of her, and her eyes turned red. "Could everyone just chill out for two seconds before something crazy happens!?"

Ding!

"How could you leave me!?" Weiss yelled, hanging from the talon of a Nevermore. "I said jump..!" Ruby yelled back. "She's gonna fall" Blake pointed out. "She'll be fine." Ruby reassured everyone. "She's falling.." Ren deadpanned.

As Weiss fell, Jaune saw and prepared to 'save' her. He jumped, and successfully catched her. However, Jaune didn't take jumping from a tree into account. "No!" He yelled pathetically as they both fell.

Jaune hit the ground face first. The heiress fell onto him seconds later. "My hero.." Weiss checked her nails as she said it in a tone that would make almost anyone miserable. "My back.." Jaune said as he grovels in pain. While all that happened, Pyrrha is still being chased by a Death Stalker

Moments later, Pyrrha gets tossed onto the ground. "Great, the gang's all here. Now we can all die together!" Yang sarcastically remarked. "Not if I can help it!" Our red cookie monster rushes to the Death Stalker. "Ruby, wait!" Yang warned her. As Ruby got close, The grimm simply smacked Ruby off course and onto the ground.

"Hey, Jun." Dalthale whispered. "Should we get involved? Because this would be done in minutes." Jun considers it before asking their partner. "Whaddya think, Kirito?" Jun turned to Kirito. "I say we shouldn't get involved." Kirito crosses his arms, and Dylan nods along.

"D-d-don't worry! Totally fine!" Ruby stuttered as she got up. She turned to face the huge scorpion, but she hesitates to engage in combat. She simply shoots one bullet, and runs away from the grimm. As she was running, puts away her scythe, Crescent Rose. "RUBY!" Yang yells as she starts to run at her sister.

Suddenly, A Nevermore, A grimm that takes the form of a huge bird, fires their sharp feathers at Ruby and Yang. Rendering Ruby unable to move due to her cape getting stuck under a feather. "..Hey.." Jun starts. They sniff the air for a few moments. "I KNOW THAT BIRD!" Jun shouts, making their partner look at them in a 'WTF' face. "What do you mean you know that bird!?" Jun prepares to fly as visible annoyance covers their face.

"We had a 'lil encounter. That's what!" Jun positions their hands palm-down, and within seconds, Jun's hands are burning hot. Moments later, fire comes out of Jun's hands and boots. They fly towards the Nevermore at full speed. Jun went up against the huge bird and started yelling profanity at it whilst punching it to no end. "Jun! Wait!" It was too late. Dalthale tried to stop Jun, but Jun was already mid air.

However, they didn't notice that their aura was running low due to using an attack that was still in progress. Their aura was almost in the red. Jun was firing fireballs nonstop 'till they started getting tired. 'Fuck..' Jun sweat dropped. The fire from under there boots started to diminish, and they started to fall. "Jun!" Kirito shouted.

While Jun was falling, Ruby is trying to get her cape unstuck. "Ruby, get out of there!" Yang yelled. "I'm trying!" Ruby replied, desperate to get her cape out from under the sharp feather. Ruby braces for impact as the Death Stalker prepares to strike.

Suddenly, an arch of ice was formed. Freezing the scorpion's tail just inches away from attacking Ruby. Whilst also making an ice slide for Jun to slide onto. "Your are so childish." Weiss says in a 'matter of fact' tone. "-And dimwitted, and hyperactive, and don't even get me started on your fighting style." She added.

"Gee. Thanks, snow angel.." Jun whispers under their breath as they recompose themselves. "For the sake of the situation you were just in. I will ignore that." She gave a tsundere glare at Jun. "Now, I suppose I can be.. a bit.." She starts.

"-Difficult, but if we're going to do this, we're going to have to do this together." She continues to talk to Ruby while Jun was hit on the head by Kirito. "Ow! What the hell was that for!?" Jun yells at him.

"What were you thinking?" Jun rubs the spot Kirito hit. "We've only been partners for a few moments, and you expect me to be ok with you dying? You can at least last longer than that, right?" Kirito puts his hand on Jun's shoulder.

Jun hesitated with answering. "No promises, Kiri." Kirito released a satisfied sigh. "Wait, 'Kiri'?" Jun grins. "It's a hell of a lot easier to say than 'Kirito' that's for sure." Yang runs up to Ruby. "I'm so happy you're ok!" Yang said in a relieved tone, and hugs Ruby.

After they hug, they both look up to the Nevermore that was pummeled earlier by Jun. They go back to the group, and moments later the same Nevermore was coming back. "Guys." Jaune started. "That thing is circling back" Jaune added as he pointed upwards.

"What are we going to do?" Jaune asked, visibly worried. "There's no sense in dilly dallying" Dalthale came in the conversation. "He's right" Ruby said. "Our objective is right in front of us." Weiss pointed at the relics, otherwise known as chess pieces. "Our goal is to get the relics, and make it back to the cliffs." Ruby started, "There's no point in fighting these things." She added. "Run and live. That is an idea I can get behind." Jaune agreed.

Ruby walked up to a knight piece, and grabs it. While Jaune gets a rook piece. As they were grabbing the relics, the Death Stalker started to get free from the ice. "It's time we left." Ren stated. "Right. Let's go!" Ruby ran, leading the group.

The rest followed after her, but her sister, Yang was staring at her. Yang's partner, Blake, noticed this. "What is it?" She asked. Yang stared at Ruby as she stopped and dramatically posed on a rock, and continued to lead the rest. "Nothing." Yang answered, and followed Ruby. Blake on her tail.
