A quote which was always said
I once saw that light,
But here I am,
Although with people,
I'm alone.
Even though I'm trapped in this small, dark abyss,
My Hikari said he would come back,
To free me from my dark prison.
I'm still waiting to be freed, a year later.
I had a chance now, and I took it.
But now I'm back in the true darkness,
Like I was so many years ago.
"Even in the deepest darkness,
There is still light."
I'm still searching for that light,
They say that if you follow your heart,
You will find your light.
But, how do you "follow your heart"?
Through memories?
But wouldn't that be considered,
"Living in the past"?
or is that how a person is defined?
But, in the end,
Does it really matter,
As long as I find my Hikari?
This time, I won't be on the sidelines,
I won't be protected.
This time, I'll be on the battleground.
I will find my way out of my dark prison cage.
"This time, I'll fight."
I'll fight to get out of the darkness.
I'll fight for my Hikari.
AN: Ok, slighty darker than I usually see Kairi / write about. But, I thought Kairi would have a slightly darker view of life without her light, in other words, Sora. Since I see her as one who would depend on them alot, I wrote her a little darker. Ok, 2nd one-shot in 2 days! Happy Me! Happy Me!
