Boku no Hero Academia: Izuku's Pet Noumu
Disclaimer: This is a mature-rated fanfiction story of Boku no Hero Academia that I am writing for both fluffy and erotic fun. Needless to say, this story is AU, the characters may seem OOC to some and there will be smutty lemons. Also, I own nothing of the series other than the fanfiction stories that I make.
Chapter 32: Super Moves Training Interlude (Part 1)
Since the summer camp party event at the Unforeseen Simulation Joint (U.S.J.) was held near the end of summer vacation, it was no surprise that school lessons resumed just a few days after the said party. During those few days, the first-year students of the hero course were informed that they would soon be taking part in the provisional pro-hero licence exams with a number of exceptions. Among the exceptions were the young children, for obvious age-related reasons, and the noumu-girls who had been recently rescued during the summer camp attack.
Besides the announcement for the exam, the Wild Wild Pussycats, together with Kouta, returned to their base in the original summer camp site before resuming with their duties as pro-heroes. As for David, Melissa, Leeron, Houka and Constanze, they returned to I-Island as they could not afford to stay outside the security of the island for too long. Left unsaid was that Melissa was planning to transfer to the support course of U.A. High School so that she could be closer to Izuku. Another notable development was the meeting between the pro-heroes, including Nedzu, the Hero Public Safety Commission (H.S.P.C.), the police force and the leaders of the Meta Liberation Army. Although nothing had been finalised, it was generally agreed that the League of Villains had to be stopped which meant that the Meta Liberation Army would take no action against the current government until the threat had been taken out at the very least.
Another matter which needed to be dealt with was the protection of the parents who were involved in helping Toshinori (a.k.a. All Might) defeat All For One. Inko was already staying at the dorms with Izuku so there was little change in her circumstances. There was also little change for Momo's parents as they were already used to living with the threat of getting attacked by enemies due to their wealth and status. As for Ochako's parents, they were offered a job by Nedzu to help further improve the security of the school by helping in the construction of the defences. It not only allowed Ochako's parents to live within the school grounds, albeit in a different building since Dorm 1A was already quite full, but it also allowed them to have better income than before which made Ochako very happy. Granted, they had to move from the Mie prefecture to Musutafu but it was not unusual for construction personnel and their families to move closer to the site of construction.
The remaining three families, namely the Bakugou, Jirou and Asui families, decided to wait and observe the situation before deciding if they needed to move to either U.A. High School or to Momo's family residence. Tsuyu's parents were reluctant to move partly because they did not want to force her younger siblings to transfer schools if they could help it. There was also the matter of the three families have their respective careers to consider which even Nedzu was willing to admit would be complicated to justify an immediate transfer. That being said, plans and arrangements had been made so that they could move immediately if needed. Nedzu and the pro-heroes who knew about the families' circumstances also offered to provide security around their current homes to prevent any attacks from villains, especially those affiliated with the League of Villains, and "aggressively nosy" journalists. Not surprisingly, the three families appreciated the added security.
In preparation for the provisional licence exams, Izuku and his peers from the hero course of U.A. High School, quickly started training on their super moves while under the guidance of Toshinori, Shouta (a.k.a. Eraser Head), Seikijirou (a.k.a. Vlad King), Nemuri (a.k.a. Midnight), Ken (a.k.a. Cementoss) and Ectoplasm. Even the older noumu-girls who would not be taking part in the upcoming exams took part in the training so that they would be ready should they be eligible to take part in the next exam that would be held later that year. Considering the fact that All Might had retired, there was a chance that the H.S.P.C. would allow the noumu-girls who had been recently rescued to earn their own provisional pro-hero licences for the simple sake of having more manpower to prevent the still-possible collapse of society.
Not surprisingly, Izuku focused on fully mastering One For All and the different quirks that had been stockpiled within it. His current goal was to be able to use 15% of One For All continuously without needing the support of Promare or Bio-Repair.
With the older students preoccupied with training their super moves in Gym Gamma, the younger children were given other activities to occupy their time…
-With Eri and the other children…-
"All right, children. It's now time for me to teach you all the basics of cooking starting with freshly-cooked rice, raw eggs, soy sauce and dried seaweed flakes," said Lunch Rush.
Eri, Kumoko, Ouka, Aoi, Emiko and Sakino nodded in unison as they were eager to learn a new skill that could be used to help other people. After all, Izuku and his friends would certainly need to eat after training so hard.
It should be noted that Sakino was still a fleshy purple blob and was currently "sitting" on Ouka's head.
In theory, more vigorous training could be given to the young children, especially the young noumu-girls. However, given their age, as well as the fact that the pro-hero teachers wanted to focus on helping their first-year students pass their upcoming provisional licence exams, it was understandable why the young children were allowed to leave Gym Gamma earlier than their older counterparts and be given other activities to occupy their time.
Lunch Rush smiled at the earnest young faces as he spoke to them, "The first thing you need to do before you can cook the rice is to wash it."
"Why do we need to wash the rice?" asked Eri who was still speaking on behalf of the younger noumu-girls.
"It's to remove the excess starch on the rice. If you don't do that, your rice will all clump together and become messy after cooking. Washing the rice so also helps to remove things that you do not want eat with your rice," explained Lunch Rush. He then showed the children how to place raw rice into a strainer that had been placed into a large bowl before washing the rice with tap water. After washing the rice, he pulled the strainer and its contents out of the bowl before pouring the water away.
"Depending on the rice, you may need to wash it one more time. After you have washed the rice, you can put it into a rice cooker pot and then fill the pot with water," explained Lunch Rush while he washed the rice a second time. Once he was done washing the rice a second time, he put it into a rice cooker pot.
"How much water do we need to put in?" asked Eri.
"It depends on how you want your rice cooked. In this case, two cups of water for every cup of rice is sufficient," answered Lunch Rush before adding the required amount of water into the pot. Once the water had been added, he said, "Ideally, you'll want to let the rice soak for a while before you start cooking it to improve its texture."
"Will it take a long while?" asked Eri.
"For this pot of rice, a few minutes will suffice," replied Lunch Rush who then added, "If you want your rice to have its own flavour, you can add seasoning to it such as salt, spices, soy sauce, sesame oil and more. You can even replace the water in the pot with soup stock. That being said, sometimes plain rice works best especially when you're eating it with dishes that already have strong flavours such as pickled radishes."
"So we can make rice even yummier?" asked Eri who was amazed to learn such a thing.
"Precisely," confirmed Lunch Rush before he added some salt into the pot while stirring the water and rice so that the salt would be evenly distributed. After adding the salt, he said, "Now, for the sake of keeping things simple, I'll be using an electric rice cooker to cook the rice. Once that cooker is turned on, you can leave it to cook by itself until the rice is ready to be served. You can then serve the cooked rice while it is still hot together with raw eggs, soy sauce and dried seaweed flakes."
"It seems really easy," said Eri while the noumu-girls nodded in agreement with her.
"Well, it is an easy dish to prepare as long as you know how to cook rice, break eggs properly and mix the rice with the egg and soy sauce properly" replied Lunch Rush.
"Can we cook a lot of rice then?" asked Eri.
"I'm guessing that you want to prepare a meal for 'them', yes?" asked Lunch Rush.
Eri nodded and said, "They're working very hard now and they'll get hungry."
"Well, I'm not one to turn down a request in helping people by filling their bellies with good food," said Lunch Rush before he gave the young children a thumb's up and said, "I'll help you girls prepare the ingredients."
-Some time later…-
"Man… today's training is brutal…" groaned Denki while dragging his feet along the floor. Even the noumu-girls were exhausted.
"Considering that it's in preparation for the provisional licence exams, it's to be expected," said Tenya who was also exhausted.
"Let us hope that it will be enough for us to face whatever dark trials lay ahead," said Fumikage.
"And that the new support gear which we have requested will help us shine even brighter than before as future heroes," said Yuuga.
"I just want to eat some food and go straight to bed," said Minoru who was too worn out to even think about enjoying "erotic works of fiction".
"At least we were given a chance to take a bath before letting us return to the dorms," said Momo who grimaced and added, "We didn't exactly smell life fresh flowers back there."
Suddenly, Wankuro sniffed the air and her stomach growled loudly. Aware of Wankuro's hunger and keen sense of smell, Izuku asked, "Did you smell something delicious, Wan-chan?"
Wankuro nodded and said, "Coming from dorm." She then charged towards the source of the smell with a powerful burst of speed.
A moment of silence passed before Eijirou asked, "Did she just say that the smell was coming from our dorm?"
"Seems like it," said Nyujou before she added, "We better hurry. I'm hungry too."
Not wanting to risk letting Wankuro eat all the food, no one disagreed with Nyujou's suggestion to hurry.
When Izuku and the rest of the Dorm 1A residents arrived at their dorm and entered the dining room, they saw Eri preparing a bowl of piping hot rice for Wankuro. The dog-like noumu-girl stared at the steaming bowl of rice in a manner not unlike a dog eagerly awaiting for its meal. Her tail wagged vigorously as Eri cracked an egg over the rice so that its contents could fall onto the bowl before she drizzled a bit of soy sauce onto the egg and rice. The young girl then mixed everything together before sprinkling some dried seaweed flakes onto the rice. Once the dish was ready, Eri smiled at Wankuro, "Here's your meal, Wan-neechan."
"Itadakimasu!" exclaimed Wankuro before she basically inhaled her food.
Izuku smiled at the amusing and cute scene as he spoke to Eri, "I'm guessing that Lunch Rush taught you girls how to cook the dish."
Eri nodded and said, "Please take a seat, everyone. We have enough for all of you."
Aoi, Ouka and Kumoko, who were in the dining room with Wankuro and Eri, nodded in affirmative before they started preparing more bowls of the egg and rice dish. As the hero students were exhausted and aware that the children wanted to serve them food without receiving help, nearly all of them decided to let them do their best to serve everyone. Katsuki, who still hated the idea of needing help from others, begrudgingly sat back and waited while the rest got their food first.
While Izuku was receiving his bowl from Eri, he noticed that Sakino was not present and asked, "Where's Sakino-chan?"
"She's napping in one of the empty pots," answered Eri. As the youngest of the children, Sakino got sleepy and ended up sleeping inside an unused pot. Given her unique physiology, as well as the fact that she seemed comfortable inside the pot, not even Lunch Rush thought of taking her out of the pot. Of course, the pot was nowhere near a stove, electrical outlet or sink.
Mina, who overheard Eri's statement, grinned and asked, "Can we see her?"
Blissfully ignorant of Mina's mischievous intentions, Eri nodded and replied, "Sure. She's in the kitchen."
"Thanks, Eri-chan!" said Mina before she made a bee line to the kitchen which had an empty pot on the counter.
"What do you think she's planning to do?" asked Ochako who was waiting for her bowl of rice.
Izuku, who was already eating his first mouthful of the simple yet tasty rice dish, shrugged and replied, "I don't know. It's probably nothing to worry about."
A short while later, Mina exited the kitchen while tapping her mobile phone. A message was then sent to everyone who knew about the secret of One For All. The message was a picture of Sakino sleeping soundly in a pot with a text that said, "If it fits, I sits!"
Eijirou snorted at the amusing picture and asked Mina, "Seriously?"
"I couldn't resist," replied Mina who had a big grin on her face.
"Why am I not surprised," said Ochako while shaking her head at Mina's antics.
"To be fair, she did the same thing when she first caught us sleeping together on the same bed," said Izuku.
Ochako blushed and grumbled, "Please don't remind me of that…!"
"Out of curiosity, did you kids prepare food for Class 1B too?" asked Rikidou.
"We did," answered Eri who then added, "I think Emiko-chan serving them right now."
-Meanwhile, in Dorm 1B…-
"That girl is just plain OP," said Setsuna while staring at Emiko who was using her abilities to multi-task while preparing the rice and egg dish for everyone. The rest of the dorm residents could only nod in mute agreement as Emiko served levitating bowls of food to them in quick succession. Thankfully, she had enough control over her powers to avoid accidentally spilling any food, as well as avoid pelting someone by mistake.
"I know that she's a small kid but I can't be the only one who wishes that she can team up with us when we take the exams, right?" said Yousetsu.
"You're not the only one," said Monoma who knew that having her around would make defeating the "rival class" a lot easier.
"Let's just be grateful that she's kind enough to prepare this meal for us," said Itsuka as she started eating her meal.
"A most gracious opportunity to feast and rest," agreed Ibara.
"A chance to avoid dealing with the dark-grey drudgery of preparing and then cleaning everything," said Shihai.
The grateful students offered to help clean the dishes after having their meal and Emiko happily accepted their offer.
-Later that evening…-
After everyone in Dorm 1A had eaten and cleaned the dishes, Momo offered to order some food for everyone. Although the rice dish was delicious, it was unsurprisingly not enough to fully satisfy the hunger of young heroes in training, especially the older noumu-girls. Eri and the other young children, who knew that Izuku and his peers had been training hard, understood their need for more food so they were not upset about the decision. Besides, it was an opportunity to eat tasty treats such as pizzas and apple pies.
While waiting for their delivery, the residents of the dorm decided to rest and and watch television to recover from their arduous training. Not surprisingly, Izuku, Ochako, Tsuyu, Wankuro, Himiko and the young children all lay together on a pile of pillows and cuddled together like a litter of puppies or kittens. As for Eijirou, Mina and Nyujou, they lay on a couch together with Nyujou sitting the middle with a contented smile on her face. Other couples, including Minoru and Ningyou, Shouto and Momo, Kyouka and Denki and Tooru and Mashirao, were also seated together. In the case of Minoru and Ningyou, the noumu-girl hugged the short boy as though he was a plush toy.
In truth, few were actually paying attention to the television programme as many of the residents in the dorm were content to simply laze about.
When the food arrived, courtesy of a few delivery robots as a security measure due to recent events, Inko, Toshinori and Ochako's parents entered Dorm 1A together. As teachers and staff of U.A. High School they had to attend a meeting to discuss on the new security measures taken to ensure the safety of all the students. Understandably, they were held back for quite some time.
Seeing the boxes of pizzas, apple pies, fried chicken and salads that the robots were taking to the dining hall, Toshinori smiled at Izuku and asked, "Too tired to cook your own dinner tonight?"
"Pretty much," answered Izuku before he smiled and added, "Eri-chan and the other kids made some rice with raw eggs for us though."
"Did you have fun making food for everyone?" asked Inko.
Eri nodded with a sleepy smile and said, "It was a lot fun."
Mrs Uraraka giggled and said, "That's good to hear."
"I'm guessing that you girls made food for the 1B kids too, right?" asked Mr Uraraka who knew that Emiko's parents should be reaching the other dorm soon.
"We did," replied Eri before she added, "Emiko-chan wanted to serve them by herself."
"If it wasn't for the fact that she is very good at using her quirk, I'd be pretty worried about her being able to serve everyone without making a big mess or worse," said Izuku.
Do you want to join us for dinner?" asked Ochako who hoped that her parents would join.
"Certainly," replied Inko. Although she and the other adults had already consumed light snacks and refreshments during the meeting, they were more than happy to enjoy a proper meal with the students and young children.
Before long, everyone had their meal together in both the dining hall and the common room. Not surprisingly, Inko, Toshinori and Ochako's parents sat together with Izuku, Ochako, Tsuyu, Himiko, Wankuro and the young children who stayed in Dorm 1A with them. While they were eating, Inko asked Izuku, "So, how's your training been, Izuku?"
"It's going quite well so far. I think I'll be able to manage 12% at least before I take the exams," replied Izuku after swallowing his mouthful of beef pizza.
"And the inherited quirks?" asked Toshinori.
"I'm getting a hang of Spirit Gun but I still have a bit of trouble with Black Whip," answered Izuku.
"I'm sure that you'll be able to use all your quirks before long, Midoriya-boya," said Mr Uraraka.
Mrs Uraraka shook her head with a smile and said, "I never thought my husband and I would ever have this kind of conversation with anyone, let alone with the boy whom my daughter is in love with."
"To be fair, we didn't think that we'd be in on a secret that began during the dawn of quirks," said Mr Uraraka.
Tsuyu chuckled and said, "The same can be said for basically everyone in Dorms 1A and 1B, kero."
"Speaking of people who know the secret, Melissa will be transferred to this school as a third-year student of the support course soon. Besides attending the usual lessons, she will also be helping to implement the new security measures on behalf of her father," said Toshinori.
"That's good to know," said Izuku who honestly wanted Melissa to be with him and the rest of the, as dubbed by Mina, "Dekubowl".
"So how long will the construction of the new security measures take, dad?" asked Ochako.
"Since we have Cementoss to help us, it will take a lot less time than usual," replied Mr Uraraka.
"It will still take some time though as some of Nedzu's ideas are… excessive so to speak," said Mrs Uraraka.
"Normally, I'd agree," said Inko who then frowned and added, "However, given the fact that the League of Villains are still at large, never mind the Meta Liberation Army, I cannot really blame him for going so far."
Toshinori sighed and grumbled, "Even with All For One's body destroyed, there's no guarantee that he won't find a way to somehow return from the dead especially now that we know for sure that he has been copying quirks of not only villains but also pro-heroes unlucky enough to be in contact with his followers."
"And considering that quirks tend to carry the will of the original users, there's a chance that every copy of his quirk will carry at least a part of him," concluded Izuku.
"Ironically enough, the possible threat of his return is keeping the Meta Liberation Army from trying to 'liberate' Japan even after All Might-sensei's retirement, kero," said Tsuyu.
"True, but such a ceasefire will only last for so long before they decide that the League of Villains is no longer a threat," said All Might who then grimaced and added, "Which will inevitably lead to a whole new mess of trouble."
"But don't we have Izuku-niichan with us?" asked Eri who was innocently certain that Izuku would be able to save the day.
Amused by Eri's question, Inko smiled and explained, "That that is certainly true but there is only so much that any one person can do by himself."
Izuku nodded and said, "Which is why it's important that we get as many trustworthy people on board to help protect the peace and bring hope to everyone as possible."
Eri, together with the other children who were seated with her, tilted her head and asked, "Isn't everyone here and in 1B already on board?"
Ochako snorted in amusement before she said, "Yes, but it never hurts to have more help for the people around us. Don't forget, the League of Villains and the Meta Liberation Army may be the most dangerous groups so far but there is always a chance of another dangerous group of villains will appear and hurt everyone."
"Not only that, but there are a lot of villains in other parts of the world and All For One most likely had allies in other countries, kero," said Tsuyu who recalled her encounter with a certain group of smugglers during her internship with Selkie.
"That's exactly why heroes must always be vigilant to not only take down villains before they hurt anyone but also to help people who are in trouble," said Toshinori.
Eri frowned cutely and said, "That must be a lot of hard work."
"It is, but that's exactly why we're training so hard," said Ochako who then added, "That way, we will be able to handle all the hard stuff."
"What if… you don't become heroes?" asked Eri who then worriedly added, "Who's going to keep everyone safe then?"
Izuku, who was already used to facing the terrible thought of failing to become a hero in spite of his best efforts, smiled kindly at the young children and said, "Then we do the best we can to help others even if we're not pro-heroes."
Ochako nodded and said, "Even heroes need help." She then grinned and added, "Plus, we're not going to give becoming great heroes without giving our all!"
Assured by Izuku and Ochako's statements, Eri and the other children smiled and them and nodded before they continued eating dinner.
Katsuki, who had overheard the conversation, huffed in bitter annoyance before sneaking off to his room. Ever since he realised the truth about Izuku, Toshinori and One For All, he made it a point to avoid talking to anyone in school unless necessary. As much as Katsuki hated to admit it, his position in school was essentially that of a tolerated outcast and he knew that he had only himself, especially his inflated pride and fragile ego, to blame. Had Katsuki been willing to be friends with Izuku instead of rejecting him in the past due to a mistaken assumption of the latter's intentions, he most likely would not have been so isolated from the rest of his peers in U.A. High School. Unfortunately for Katsuki, any chance of reconciliation beyond being tolerated and treated professionally was pretty much lost after everyone learnt about his past misdeeds towards Izuku due to looking through at least some of Izuku's memories.
In hindsight, it made sense that people who who wanted to be actual heroes would not think highly of those who bully and suicide-bait others. However, Katsuki's arrogant pride and staunch belief that only the strong could become heroes made him blind to the more moral aspects of heroics which resulted in his current predicament.
Once Katsuki was in his room, he sighed as he sat own on his bed and thought, "Being alone… sucks."
For most his life, Katsuki wanted to be the best in everything that he did and thus saw everyone else as competition, stepping stones or even enemies to be crushed. In fact, upon self-reflection, the closest thing he had to a genuine friend during his early childhood was Izuku and even that friendship ended when Izuku finally decided to stop seeing him as a friend. Nearly everyone else who tried to befriend Katsuki before he got into U.A. High School wanted to be in his good graces just so that they could claim that they were friends with a famous pro-hero. The irony that Katsuki was seen as arguably the least heroic among the students of the hero course in U.A. High School, in terms of morals at the very least, was not lost to the blond boy. In short, Katsuki's tendency to push everyone away was, as his own mother would put it, "finally biting him in the fucking arse".
Angry at his current circumstances and himself, Katsuki scowled bitterly and swore that he would pass the exam to prove his worth as a future pro-hero even with a "chosen hero" like Izuku as his bitter rival.
-Back to Izuku…-
After eating dinner, Izuku, Ochako and Tsuyu were rested enough to study together in his room with Eijirou and Mina. As for Wankuro, Himiko and Nyujou, they were watching cartoons in the common hall with the young children. Ningyou, who was already studying at the same level as the majority of the students, was studying with Minoru, Denki and Kyouka in Ningyou's room.
It should be noted that both Minoru and Ningyou knew that they would probably forsake their studies for more "pleasurable activities" if they studied in the same room together all by themselves. In their defence though, they were not the only romantic couple with such issues. Momo and Shouto, who had finally started exploring the more erotic aspects of romance, would have focused on "pleasing each other" instead of studying if they had studied all by themselves in Shouto's room. To avoid such a scenario, Momo and Shouto decided to study together with Tooru and Mashirao.
Mina lay her upper body on the table and groaned, "Why do we have to study on top of training like there's no tomorrow!?"
Ochako sighed and said, "That's because earning our licences won't stop our teachers from failing us if we flunk our exams."
"Can't we just focus on one thing at a time?" complained Mina.
"Just be thankful that we'll be given a chance to rest on the day before the licence exam, kero," said Tsuyu.
Izuku smiled and said, "Personally, I think that we're doing pretty well in getting our super moves and combination moves down."
"Having our minds linked even for a short while probably helped," said Eijirou who recalled at least bits and pieces of the moves used by various pro-heroes such as Crust.
"If only that worked for academics too," said Mina.
Eijirou chuckled and said in agreement, "You and me both, Mina-chan."
Izuku, Ochako, Tsuyu and Mina soon laughed together with Eijirou before they resumed with their studies. Later that night, Mina and Eijirou left so that they would sleep with Nyujou while Wankuro, Himiko and the young children entered the room to sleep with Izuku, Ochako and Tsuyu as usual.
Ironically enough, Izuku, Ochako, Tsuyu, Wankuro and Himiko actually had sex less frequently than the other couples in Dorm 1A due to the simple fact that they normally slept in the same room with young children. That was not to say that they did not have any sex at all though as Inko and Toshinori were willing to let them have their "private time" every now and again. In fact, Nemuri offered to let Izuku and his lovers use a private room so that they could "release their pent up youthful desires" when needed. Although grateful for the offer, especially since Melissa and Rumi would most likely want to have sex again, Izuku was in no rush to have sex with his lovers as often as he could. Besides, Izuku, Ochako, Tsuyu, Wankuro and Himiko easily made up for the lack of frequency with creativity and eroticism that left even Nemuri blushing.
As such, without anything remotely sexual going on, everyone in Izuku's room slept peacefully that night.
-Meanwhile at the headquarters of a certain government organisation…-
"Lady Nagant, I want you to be present during the upcoming provisional pro-hero licence exam with Mera," said an elderly woman with slicked-back hair who was the current president of the Hero Public Safety Commission.
A tall curvy woman with dark-blue and pink two-toned hair named Tsutsumi Kaina, who was also a pro-hero and agent of the H.P.S.C. known as Lady Nagant, raised an angled eyebrow and asked, "Does it have anything to do with U.A. High School?"
The H.P.S.C. president nodded and said, "While it is true that Mera and some of our agents will be present during the test, I want you to be there as well so that we may get a different opinion of the mysterious student who helped All Might defeat All For One."
"I understand," replied Kaina before she asked, "Will there be anyone else from our side?"
"Other than at least one ninja-hero agent whose identity is on a need-to-know basis, no," answered the H.P.S.C. president.
"I assume that I shall have to be prepared to find agents from other groups, including the Meta Liberation Army and possibly even the League of Villains," said Kaina.
"That is correct," confirmed the H.P.S.C. president.
"Does this investigation have anything to do with Hawks and Edgeshot being reluctant to reveal the student's identity to you?" asked Kaina,
"In part, yes," said the H.P.S.C. president who then frowned and added, "While Sarutobi is willing to accept their refusal to answer, I am disinclined to do the same. At the very least, I need to be certain that this student will not become a threat to the peace that we have been entrusted to protect."
"No offence meant, but the status quo is already shaken with All Might's retirement, the reveal of the Meta Liberation Army and still-present threat of the League of Villains even with the death of All For One," argued Kaina.
The H.P.S.C. president sighed tiredly and admitted, "That is undeniably true. However, we cannot ignore the fact that the student has played a key role in helping All Might defeat All For One with both a massive power boost and additional quirks. Not only that, but that student has somehow won over the trust and loyalty of many pro-heroes, including most of the top-ten. Such power and influence is not something we can simply ignore and hope for the best."
"I understand," said Kaina. Although she did not like the more underhanded side of maintaining the current peace of society, she understood the need to be aware and prepared for anything and everything. She then asked, "Is there anything else that I need to be aware of?"
The H.P.S.C. president shook her head and said, "No, not at the moment. Just be ready for anything that may come to pass during the exam, Lady Nagant."
"I shall take my leave then," said Kaina.
After Kaina left the H.P.S.C. president's office, the elderly lady leaned back into her chair and thought, "That student has the potential to bring forth a new age for hero society. It's simply a question of what kind of age it will be and what will be changed or lost in the process."
Although resigned to the fact that change was inevitable, the H.P.S.C. president refused to allow society to fall into chaos without at least trying to prevent it. She could only hope that the supposed "Successor of All Might" will be a trustworthy ally at the very least.

Author's Notes:
This short chapter is part one of the interlude and I hope that everyone will enjoy it.
I will cover one more interlude chapter before either working on my other two stories, 'Izuku's Harem Academia' and 'Izuku's Noumu Life' or continue with this one to cover the licence exams.
Until next time, go beyond, plus ultra!
