Chapter 33: Super Moves Training Interlude (Part 2)
To avoid possible complications on the day of the provisional pro-hero licence exam itself, the first-year students of the hero course of U.A. High School were allowed to rest for two days prior to the exam. Given the near-constant training that the students had experienced since the start of the new term, they were understandably glad to have a chance to rest before taking the exam.
It was on the first day of rest when Melissa, who was finally transferred to U.A. High School from her school on I-Island, arrived at the high school. Not surprisingly, she was assigned to Dorm 1A and her room was on the third floor next to Momo's room. Equally unsurprising was the fact that Melissa decided to use her own personal room as a workstation and storage space for her inventions while she slept in Izuku's room at the top floor.
As for how she was allowed to stay in Dorm 1A instead of a dorm for support course students, it involved Nedzu referencing the I-Island incident when she worked together with students from both Dorm 1A and Dorm 1B. Few could deny the fact that Melissa was acquainted with them at the very least and there was no denying the simple fact that the Yaoyorozu family had helped to fund the various researchers on I-Island, including David Shield. What was more, Melissa was David Shield's daughter so it made sense that she would be stay in a secure location which happened to be a dorm inhabited by both hero-students and noumu-girls.
Of course, there were those who questioned the idea that Dorm 1A was safe. Even Nedzu was willing to admit that some their doubts were justified as the hero-students had been getting into a lot of conflicts with villains, never mind the whole "glowing building incident" during Toshinori's (a.k.a. All Might) fight with All For One. Besides, there was the option to stay in Dorm 1B if she wanted to be safe by staying close to hero-students whom she was familiar with. Nevertheless, no one could make a strong enough argument to dissuade both Nedzu and Melissa from staying in Dorm 1A.
Left unsaid was that Melissa wanted to sleep with Izuku and the rest of the Dekubowl and Nedzu saw nothing wrong about it.
As a result, the first day of rest was focused on helping Melissa move into Dorm 1A and making her feel welcomed as both the newest resident of the dorm and a member of the Dekubowl. Izuku and the rest of the Dekubowl were also expecting a certain rabbit-themed pro-heroine to visit them later on that same day.
-While Melissa was getting settled in Dorm 1A…-
"Yo!" said Rumi (a.k.a Miruko) while greeting Izuku. She was currently dressed in her casual wear.
"Welcome, Rumi-neechan. Please make yourself at home," said Izuku. After the summer camp party at the Unforeseen Simulation Joint (U.S.J.), Rumi decided to let Izuku and the rest of the Dekubowl to call her Rumi-neechan when not on active duty.
Rumi grinned and replied, "Don't mind if I do." Between her duties as a high-ranked pro-heroine and the still-present unease in society due to All Might's retirement, it made sense that she had to work hard to maintain the peace. In fact, she had to make up for the days when she was not on active duty, including the days that she spent at the U.S.J., so even visiting the school for "official school business" as a guest teacher was difficult to arrange. As a result, she decided to visit the school on her day off as it happened to coincide with the first day of rest for the students.
As Rumi sat down on a couch, she turned her attention to Izuku and said, "I heard that Melissa's moved in today."
Izuku sat down next to her and said, "She and the girls are unpacking her things in her room. It shouldn't take long for them to be done."
"You're not going to go back up there and help them?" asked Rumi.
Izuku shook his head and said, "I have already helped to bring her things to her room and they said that they can handle the unpacking by themselves. Besides it won't be nice to have you waiting down here all by yourself."
Rumi smiled appreciatively before she asked, "So, where's everyone else?"
"They're all within the school grounds," replied Izuku who then added, "Some are doing light exercises or studying while others are taking a chance to rest after all that training. There are also those who want to contribute to a welcoming party that we will be having later this evening."
After welcoming Melissa and having a simple lunch together, most of the residents of Dorm 1A went their separate ways. Although they were still required to stay within the school grounds for their own safety, both from villains and the press, they were allowed to use the school grounds as they saw fit as long as the activities were approved by at least one of the teachers.
Not surprisingly, many of the couples in Dorm 1A decided to have some "fun".
As for the upcoming dinner party, Izuku and his friends decided to keep it simple as they wanted to rest and relax. The last things that they wanted to deal with were extensive party preparations and clean up. Besides, they could always hold a real party after passing the upcoming exams to earn their provisional pro-hero licences.
Rumi smirked as she placed her hand onto Izuku's thigh and said, "In other words, we have this hall all to ourselves."
Quickly realising the implications, Izuku blushed and stuttered, "I-I don't think that's a good idea! A-anyone can walk in at any moment!"
Amused by Izuku's admittedly understandable reaction, Rumi laughed and said, "Relax, Izuku! I may be eager for a good time but even I know better than to do it here." She then smiled flirtatiously and added, "Besides, as exciting as it is to do it in a place where we might get caught, what I want right now is a place where we won't get interrupted if you get what I mean."
Izuku's blush deepened as he could already imagine himself having sex with his harem. He then recalled Nemuri's offer to use a private room and thought, "Maybe I should get in touch with her later?"
As Izuku wanted to change the subject, he asked, "D-do you want a drink and some snacks, Rumi-neechan?"
"I already ate lunch before coming here so a drink is good enough for me," said Rumi.
"Let me get some juice then," said Izuku who knew that Rumi would like to have carrot juice or at least juice which had carrot juice added to it.
While Izuku went to the kitchen to get some juice, Rumi took out her mobile phone and sent a message to the rest of the Dekubowl, "I'm already in the dorm with Izuku. Is the room ready yet?"
Rumi soon got a reply from Ochako, "It is. We're planning to have a proper welcoming dinner party for Melissa-chan first though."
"Satou-kun's already preparing the meal with Lunch Rush-sensei, kero," messaged Tsuyu.
"I'm free for the rest of today and tomorrow so it's not a problem for me," messaged Rumi who then asked, "Just asking, are you all done unpacking?"
"We're almost done. We'll come down in a few minutes," replied Melissa.
"All the kids are with us right now by the way," messaged Ochako.
"Duly noted," replied Rumi. As much as she wanted to start teasing Izuku and the rest of the Dekubowl, she knew that doing so would not be appropriate with the children around.
"Here's your drink," said Izuku while giving Rumi a glass of orange and carrot juice.
Rumi put her mobile phone aside and said, "Thanks." She then took a sip of the cool drink before she added, "Ochako and the others will be done in a few minutes."
Izuku nodded before he asked, "Still no sign of the League of Villains?"
"Not as far as we know," answered Rumi who frowned at the fact that the League of Villains was still at large and could still potentially create an army of monstrous corpse-derived noumus.
"Assuming that they are not in Japan since so many people are against them here, where do you think they could have gone?" asked Izuku.
"The world is a big place and they have Kurogiri with them so they can be anywhere at this point," said Rumi who then bitterly added, "That's not even counting All For One's 'friends' who are genuinely villainous."
Not long after All For One's demise, many people who had been threatened and blackmailed into becoming his "friends" from all over the world readily turned themselves in to the local authorities of their respective countries. Although their willing cooperation had helped to greatly accelerate the still-ongoing investigation to locate All For One's remaining assets and villainous associates, including the League of Villains, it also provided a sobering idea of just how much power and influence the ancient villain really had. What was more, All For One's more villainous associates from all over the world had already started to act independently which inevitably meant that the local authorities had no choice but to focus on tackling the more immediate threats to their respective countries. There was also a very real need to ensure that there were no traitors among the pro-heroes and their allies, including members of the government. Thankfully, the villains were no longer unified under a single powerful leader and many of them were more interested in gaining power through elimination of threats and competition instead of cooperation with fellow peers.
"So there's no way of knowing if the League of Villains is even here let alone in some secret isolated location such as Antartica," said Izuku who frowned worriedly.
"If it's any consolation, basically everyone in the world pretty much agrees that All For One's remaining associates must be stopped and that includes the League of Villains so they won't hesitate to cooperate as long as they can afford the time and effort," replied Rumi who then grinned and added, "Hell, even vigilantes and certain villains are giving their support to take them down."
"I just hope that they can be stopped before they decide to unleash something terrible upon the world in retaliation," replied Izuku who was all too aware of the possibility of All For One having another hidden army of noumus somewhere in the world.
"There is that," agreed Rumi who then asked, "Speaking of finding villains, how do you feel about the upcoming exam?"
Izuku chuckled and admitted, "Honestly, I'm a little nervous. I may have improved my control over One For All to 15% for continuous use and gotten at least the basics of the other quirks, but we'll be competing with many other hero students with abilities that we have little to no idea about."
"It's fine to be on your toes but you shouldn't worry too much. Facing rivals from other schools is not too different from facing villains with unknown abilities if you look at it from a certain point of view," replied Rumi who was confident that Izuku would be able to pass the exam.
"Maybe so, but I'd rather err on the side of caution," said Izuku.
At that moment, the elevator to the girls' side of the dorms opened. Ochako walked out of the elevator with the young children including Emiko. Eri's eyes brightened when she saw Rumi and ran towards her while saying, "Rumi-neechan, you're here!"
Rumi grinned as Eri hugged her and said, "Of course, I'm here! I'm not missing my chance to spend my day off relaxing with you all."
Ochako smiled as she spoke to Izuku and Rumi, "The others will be coming down shortly."
While Rumi patted Eri's head, she asked Izuku, "So, what's the plan while we wait for dinner?"
"Well, we'll be visiting cafeteria first," replied Izuku.
Rumi raised an eyebrow and asked, "Why there?"
"Eri-chan and the other children want to help prepare food for the dinner party," answered Izuku.
"We'll be helping to make lots of food with Satou-san and Lunch Rush-sensei!" said Eri. The other young children were similarly eager and determined.
"They have been learning to cook from Lunch Rush-sensei and have prepared simple meals for us while we were training," explained Ochako who smiled fondly at the young children.
Rumi grinned at the children and said, "I look forward to what you kids will help prepare for dinner."
-A short while later…-
Once everyone was present, Izuku, the Dekubowl and the young children made their way to the cafeteria. After leaving the children with Rikidou and Lunch Rush at the cafeteria, Izuku and the Dekubowl proceeded to bring Melissa to the development studio.
It should be made clear that Melissa and the rest of her peers from I-Island had already been given a tour around the school grounds during summer camp. However, Melissa still wanted to visit the development studio again as she would be doing both her practical work and making support gear for her friends there. Also, she wanted to examine the place and its equipment more closely so that she could decide on how to further improve them.
"With the tools that I have brought here with me, I should be able to upgrade or replace most of them as long as I have Nedzu-sensei's approval and cooperation from the teachers and fellow students of the support course," said Melissa while examining a well-used fabricator. She then smiled and added, "In the mean time, I can still use the equipment here to make whatever support gear you will need in the future."
"Just don't be surprised if you find Hatsume-chan sleeping in here, kero," said Tsuyu who then added, "She does that quite often."
Melissa giggled and said, "I'll make sure to keep that in mind."
"Blows up lots," said Wankuro.
Himiko nodded and said, "By Hatsume-chan."
"Yeah, that happens pretty often too," grumbled Ochako who recalled the time when an explosion caused Mei to fall onto Izuku. She was not amused when she saw Mei's well-endowed chest pressing onto Izuku's face. Izuku blushed sheepishly while Tsuyu chuckled at Ochako's annoyed pout.
Izuku looked around and said, "Speaking of Hatsume-san, I wonder where she…"
"Mommy's back for more baby-making!" yelled Hatsume as she literally barged into the support studio. Following behind her was a rather aggravated yet resigned Higari (a.k.a. Power Loader).
Rumi, Ochako, Tsuyu and Himiko felt a chill run down their spines when Mei noticed Izuku and Melissa. Their fears were quickly proven true when Mei's manic grin widened and immediately reached out to grab Izuku and Melissa so that she could drag them away and start working on new kinds of inventions.
Thankfully, Higari held Mei back by literally grabbing onto the back of her head and growled, "Don't even think about it!"
Mei pouted as she glared at Power Loader and argued, "I just wanted their help in making cute babies!"
Melissa giggled and said, "There's no need to rush. I'll be working alongside with you before long, Hatsume-san." She then turned her attention to Higari and said politely, "Speaking of making support equipment, I would like to discuss with you and Nedzu-sensei on how to further improve on the development studio after I have settled in, Power Loader-sensei."
Higari grinned and replied, "I'm sure the rest of the support students will be happy to have this place upgraded."
"I know I will!" exclaimed Mei.
-Meanwhile…-
While Rikidou and Lunch Rush were preparing the main course for the dinner meal, Eri and the other young children were working together to prepare dessert which happened to be chocolate chip cookies.
Although Rikidou and Lunch Rush had already prepared the cookie batter, they offered to let the children make their own cookie designs with the batter as long as the cookies were not too large or thick. Not surprisingly, the children had fun trying to make all sorts of shapes and designs including snail shells, round faces, squares and triangles. Needless to say, the children were eager to see how the cookies would turn out.
-Back to Izuku and the Dekubowl…-
After visiting the development studio, as well as escape from Mei's clutches with Higari's help, Izuku and the Dekubowl made their way to the art studio as Himiko had wanted to show them her newest painting.
As a part of helping Himiko cope with her natural blood-lust, namely her desire to see people covered in blood, she was given the freedom to paint pictures in ways that she found attractive. Not surprisingly, her paintings tended to have a "bloody" theme but they also depicted heroes standing tall against the forces of evil in spite of being covered in blood and/or injuries. Other depictions included injured heroes bravely saving people and fantasy depictions of maidens lovingly caressing injured heroes who had heroically rescued them.
When they entered the art studio, they saw Nemuri (a.k.a. Midnight) who had clearly been expecting their arrival. Nemuri smiled upon seeing them and said, "Why, hello there! Are you here to see Toga-chan's newest painting?"
Izuku nodded and replied, "She's really excited to show it to us."
"Well, come right this way then. It's honestly quite a moving piece of artwork," replied Nemuri while beckoning Izuku and the Dekubowl to follow her.
Himiko happily skipped ahead of the group and soon stood beside a large portrait painting which was concealed beneath a piece of white cloth. Once everyone was close enough, she pulled down the piece of cloth and announced, "Ta-da!"
Izuku and the rest of the Dekubowl stared at the portrait as it depicted Toshinori in his true form. Although battered and bruised with blood flowing down the side of his mouth, the skeletal blond man in the painting wore a brave smile as his eyes seemed to shine with determination to face whatever foe was standing before him. Behind him were several orbs of bright light which were an obvious reference to the "Light of Hope" which seemed to be driving back the incoming darkness. Overall, it was an undeniably good painting with clear themes of hope, bravery and heroism in spite of mortality while in the face of terrible adversity.
"Himiko-chan made it all by herself?" asked Ochako who was amazed by the details in the painting.
"It looks like it's made by a professional painter, kero," said Tsuyu.
"It looks cool," agreed Wankuro.
"I'm no connoisseur of artwork but even I can tell this is something collectors would be willing to pay a pretty penny to own," said Miruko.
"I'm already considering it," said Izuku who wondered if he could claim joint ownership of the painting with Himiko by taking her out on a proper date as soon as he could. Yes, he was already in a relationship with her and he knew that she would be happy to give the painting to him if he asked but he refused to take advantage of her romantic feelings towards him.
Nemuri giggled and said, "Actually, I'd like to have it framed and set on display for the upcoming school festival that will be held later this year. Toga-chan can have it back after that."
"That sounds reasonable," said Izuku who knew that Himiko's painting would most likely be well-received by fans of All Might.
"By the way, do you mind waiting outside for a minute Midoriya-kun?" asked Nemuri who then smiled teasingly and explained, "I want a moment to talk to your lovely harem."
Although curious about what Nemuri wanted to say to his harem, Izuku knew better than to question her request as he obediently, and bashfully, left the art studio to wait. Once he was outside, Nemuri grinned at Ochako and gave her a key card while saying, "Here's the key card to the private room. Just give me a notice when you decide to use the room and another when you are ready to leave."
Ochako blushing cheeks deepened as she accepted the key and said, "We plan to use it after the dinner party but we'll give you a head's up just in case."
"That's perfectly fine with me!" said Nemuri while giving Ochako and the rest of the Dekubowl a thumb's up.
With the "secret arrangement" complete, the Dekubowl left the studio to rejoin with Izuku. After they had left, Nemuri giggled and thought, "Ah, the wonders of youth!"
-Later that evening…-
It was time for the dinner party which was celebrated mainly by U.A. High School students and teachers who were involved in the I-Island incident earlier that year. As stated before, it was a simple party to celebrate Melissa's transfer to U.A. High School so there were no special activities planned. That being said, basically everyone enjoyed spending time together and eating delicious food. The food included pasta, salad, mushroom soup and, of course, chocolate chip cookies.
Needless to say, the children's cookies were well-received by many people who liked how the cookies were shaped. A few people even got cookies that were especially shaped for them.
Izuku blushed as he got a large heart-shaped cookie which was a symbol to both how much the young children liked him and how he was loved by so many pretty "onee-chans". Not even Shouta (a.k.a. Eraser Head) could resist snickering at the gift and Izuku's embarrassment. As for the Dekubowl, Ochako got a star-shaped cookie, Wankuro got a cookie that was shaped like a doggy bone, Tsuyu got a cookie that was shaped like a frog's face, Himiko got a bat-shaped cookie, Miruko got a cookie which resembled a carrot and Melissa got a cookie that was shaped after a conical volumetric flask.
Other notable cookies included Kouji's cookie which resembled a cat's face, Mei's cookie which resembled a wrench, Denki's cookie which resembled a lightning bolt, Fumikage's cookie which resembled a wing, Manga's cookie which resembled a speech bubble, Kinoko's mushroom-shaped cookie and Reiko's skull-shaped cookie.
It did not take long for Mina and Tooru to take pictures of Wankuro biting into her cookie like a puppy that was biting its bone-shaped doggy treat. They also took pictures of Miruko biting her own cookie while doing her rabbit-ears pose and Izuku hiding his blushing face behind the large heart-shaped cookie.
Before long, the party to be over and the young children were soon put to bed while under Inko and Toshinori's watch.
Shouta sighed in resignation while Izuku was literally dragged away by the girls of the Dekubowl. While Izuku was dragged away, Denki, Minoru, Eijirou, Shouto and Mashirao gave Izuku thumb's ups.
-In Nemuri's "Private Room"…-
"This room is a lot more normal than I expected," said Ochako after she, the rest of the Dekubowl and Izuku entered the room which could only be accessed by a key card provided by Nemuri.
"When I first heard about this room, I honestly expected a LOT of bondage equipment," said Rumi while looking around the large room which had many futon mattresses for sleeping on, a connected bathroom and toilet, a cabinet full of snacks and drinks and even a television set.
"I was expecting the place to resemble a super-sized love hotel room," said Izuku.
"And how would you know what a love hotel room would look like?" asked Melissa.
Izuku's blushed as he sheepishly admitted, "I… did some 'research' online."
"Assuming that we can find a room that can fit all of us and we don't have to worry about being discovered by the press, I wouldn't mind giving an actual love hotel room a try at some point, kero," said Tsuyu who imagined spending an erotic night at a love hotel with Izuku and the rest of the Dekubowl.
"Why not normal hotel?" asked Wankuro.
"Normal hotels don't have certain… things that love hotels may have," explained Izuku.

Suddenly, Melissa, Rumi and Izuku heard a moan and turned their attention towards Ochako and Tsuyu. Rumi and Melissa's eyes widened when they realised that Tsuyu and Ochako were kissing while hugging each other. What was more, Tsuyu was inserting her frog-like tongue into Ochako's mouth.

A moment of awkward silence passed before Kaina asked, "This mission is FUBAR before it has even started, isn't?"
The H.S.P.C. president slumped in comically exaggerated despair before she said, "Just… do the best you can, Lady Nagant."
"Is there really any other choice at this point?" asked Kaina.
"Not really," admitted the H.S.P.C. president.
