Disclaimers: I do not own Bones or any of its characters, and I am not making any money on this.
All the original characters are mine though such as Tucker James, Bad guy ( I don't have a name for him yet), Linda Prat, Jodee Wright, and so on. So if you don't recognize them then they are probably one of mine.

Chapter one

3:00 A.M. Sunday
Medico-Legal lab
The Jeffersonian Institute
Dr. Temperance Brennan had just finished identifying the bones of yet another WWII soldier this one was Lt. Lee Bandis of the US Navy age: 22. It was sad to know how young this soldier was when he died.
With a sigh Temperance glanced at her watch and was surprised to see how late it was, then she sighed again and made a face she was hungry and didn't think Wong Foo's would be open at three A.M. even if it was the weekend. 'Great now it's fast food or whatever I can find at home.' Tempe thought as she went to get her shoulder bag and car keys.
She looked around her lab one last time before she left then walked out the door and past the young security guard who called out "Goodnight Dr. Brennan see you tomorrow."
Tempe stopped and looked at him confused "Tomorrow?"
"Yeah, it's Sunday morning." He said pointing to his watch "So I guess I should say good morning. Hey, would you like me to walk you, to your car Dr. Brennan? It is pretty late."
She shook her head no and smiled at him "Goodbye Tucker."
She liked Tucker. He was helpful and funny. He and Angela had gone out a couple of times last year. Tempe figured that's why he is always looking out for her and Angela.
She walked to her parking spot only to find it empty. She let out a tired and exasperated sigh as she remembered why her car was not in its 'assigned' parking space. When she had come to work that morning there had been a small red motorcycle in her spot. Because of that, she had had to park down in section C, not far enough away you had to use the shuttle but it was still quite a long walk.
She let out another sigh and started walking to where her car was parked. It was dark, but the parking lot was well lit so Temperance felt it was safe enough to walk it alone. Besides the Jeffersonian had good security.
By the time Brennan was halfway to her car, she began to feel uneasy as if someone was watching her. She had felt like this a lot over the last few days but every time she would try and find the source she found nothing that would justify her disquiet.
She may not be able to read people very well, but she could always trust her instincts to tell her when she was in danger and right now they were telling her to watch out.
Temperance scanned the parking lot for any signs of trouble as she planned her next course of action. She noted how empty the lot was and felt a little better knowing she would likely see anyone approaching long before they were able to reach her. So with that in mind, she decided to jog the rest of the way to her car which was now closer to her then the building was.
When Temperance finally reached her car, she couldn't help but feel just a little anxious and exposed. She was just about to push the button on her key fob to unlock her car when she noticed that someone had let the air out of her front tire. She froze like a deer in headlights for a moment as panicked thoughts raced through her mind.
Temperance heard something behind her and spun around to see what it was, but just as before she couldn't see anyone. She was painfully aware of how isolated she was and tried to calm herself by rationalizing the situation, 'This is crazy, you're just being paranoid. It was just a prank or maybe a leak. I'll just call Tucker.' She thought as she reached for her cell phone, getting angry with herself for panicking and scaring herself.
Suddenly out of nowhere someone grabbed her from behind and she screamed as she struggled to free herself. Her attacker knocked her cell phone out of her hand. She saw the phone hit the pavement and bounce under her car completely out of reach.
Temperance doubled her efforts to get away, but he had his arms around her, pinning her hands to her chest. Some part of her knew her screams for help would not be heard over the sounds of the city, so she focused her energy on fighting back instead. She jumped and kicked trying to break loose, but he was just too strong for her. Her mind raced to find some other way to get free.
She could tell he was not much taller than herself and tried to use that to her advantage. So she planted her feet on the ground and pushed against the man as hard as she could, making him fall on her car. Temperance heard the man grunt and curse in pain, then she felt him lose his grip.
Temperance wasted no time running away, but almost immediately he pushed away from the car and was able to grab the thick strap of her beg that was slung over her head and shoulder. He jerked it back, making her lose her balance and fall. She was so surprised by this she had no time to react before she hit her head on the curb just in front of her car, knocking her out cold.

So what did you think? Was Temperance out of character? Please tell me.
