Gundam Rise Purpose
Chapter 15: Power Resonance
"Moving Gundam Age to catapult!"
"Preparing DOD's rifle!"
"Linear catapult ready, all safety checks green, area clear for launch!"
Flit Asano raised his head as light filled his cockpit. Already he could see the explosions of the distant battle.
"You are clear for launch sir," the communications officer of the ship said.
"Gundam Age launching," Flit declared.
A white and blue Gundam class mobile suit flew out of the ship. The Hexagonal pattern on the suit's chest, included the holographic letter A, matching the name of the machine, the Age Gundam. A mobile suit he had based on ideas from his childhood, when mobile suit warfare was shown to be the future of combat, Flit rushed to have the suit and its successors built. An easy to handle machine, the Age was equipped with a shield, beam sabres and a beam rifle. Flying into the battle, Flit narrowed his eyes, seeing the patchwork Vagan machines fighting with the Earth Alliance suits. Genoaces and Strike Daggers fired their rifles, cutting apart transformed Vagan machines. One Genoace right next to him was torn apart by a flurry of yellow beams. The Age raised its rifle, firing a shot that ripped through the attacking Gafran.
"How arrogant, to attack a colony head on, this is a distraction," Flit deduced.
He flew the Age around several enemy units, blocking cannon shots with his shield. Firing his rifle at each of his targets, Flit blew up two Dorado's and took out a Baqtos. He was already altering the rest of the occupation forces to remain alert. There was no doubt in Flit's mind that this battle was a distraction, but the only good Vagan was a dead one in his eyes. Even if the enemy was a distraction, they were still enemies to be eliminated.
There were several ruckuses in the build colony. At the space port, those seeking to embark on shuttles, were blocked and their flights cancelled. Crowds of people gathered at receptions desks demanding answers. In the hangers though, the situation was much more complicated. Mobile suits pilots of the colony's private defence force were kept from even seeing their suits. Fellini and his friend Greco Logan were just two of many who confronted the Alliance guards.
"Let us go out there you bastards," one of the pilots snarled.
"This is our home let us defend it," demanded another.
Fellini and Greco remained silent, both holding back some of the more aggressive pilots. As they tried to keep the situation from escalating, Tatsuya watched them, squeezing his hands into fists. He knew he alone wouldn't be able to convince the alliance, and it frustrated him. Just like everyone else, Tatsuya wanted to protect his home, but he also wanted to fight with the new machines he had built. He stopped tensing as he noticed a blonde haired man in a business suit stepped up behind him.
"Lieutenant," Tatsuya used the only identification he knew for the man.
He touched the bridge of his sunglasses, pushing them up his nose.
"Things seem to have gotten worse huh," the man said.
"Yes, and there isn't a thing I can do about it," Tatsuya said.
"Perhaps not, unless...you're willing to lend me a hand with a plan I have," the Lieutenant said.
Tatsuya looked at the man for a moment, thinking of his options. If there was a chance Sensou could keep this battle from getting worse, then he would take it. He nodded his head, and followed the Lieutenant.
Gekido continued running through the streets, making his way to the Build shop. As he ran, he saw the devastation that had been wrought around the colony, and the harsh reaction of the Earth Alliance. Strike Daggers had been moved onto the streets, along with soldiers in riot gear. Inwardly cursing, Gekido made his way through one of the alleyways. He felt a hand grip his shoulder, and swung around, grabbing his attacker by the throat.
"Gekido," Reiji gagged.
"God damn it, don't sneak up on me," Gekido snarled.
He let go of Reiji and stepped away from him.
"What the hell are you doing here?" he asked the boy.
"My friend, she's disappeared, I can't find her," Reiji said.
"Damn it, she's smart enough to have gotten away from the danger right? Listen, Reiji, I'm sorry about your friend, but right now I need you to help me get back to Sei's store," Gekido explained.
Reiji hesitantly nodded his head. They ran down one of the streets, hearing the screams of crowds, and the yells of the Alliance authorities. They were demanding order, and answers. But Gekido knew the truth, this was all just part of someone's plan. The ground shook, and both Gekido and Reiji stopped as a gigantic figure walked past one of the buildings. Stood tall, its visor glowing was a Vagan mobile suit, but it wasn't alone. It was stood with several Waffs, mono-eye type mobile suits equipped with bazookas and shields. Gekido and Reiji stood ready as the Vagan suit raised its clawed hand. It fired a yellow beam, hitting the building opposite one of the Strike Daggers.
"How the hell did he miss that shot?" Gekido asked out loud.
He narrowed his eyes as the Strike Dagger turned, it was a delayed reaction. It fired its rifle and missed, the emerald beam flew over the buildings. Gekido grabbed Reiji as the mobile suits began to spread out. He ran towards a car, wrapping his jacket around his arm. Smashing the window, Gekido opened the door and yanked out the wires, quickly hotwiring the car.
"Hurry," Reiji said, looking up at the Vagan monster walking towards them
When the engine turned on, Gekido yanked Reiji into the car and drove in between the mobile suits legs. He swerved, missing the tail like appendage by mere inches. Kicking into a high gear, Gekido drove as fast as he could, avoiding pedestrians running past him, and debris from buildings fallen around them. Gekido took out his phone and quickly called Woolf.
"Gekido, yo, what the hell's going on?" the former racer asked.
"It's a damn set up, the chairman's been killed not by a Vagan or an Earth Alliance member but a third party. Those patch work suits, they're to start a fight, I think they've high jacked some of the Strike Daggers too. Whoever's doing this wants both the Earth Alliance and Vagan to fight one another. Colonists getting killed in the crossfire, that'll add to the flames," Gekido explained.
"Someone's trying to trigger a war, listen Gekido there isn't a thing we can do, our units have been locked down," Woolf said.
"Don't worry, I'll get to my machine instead, " Gekido said.
"FUCK!" Gekido yelled, as a Waff crashed through one of the buildings.
The Waff began marching towards Gekido, matching the cars speed.
"Have you got Sei's number?" Gekido asked Reiji.
"No, I don't even own a phone," Reiji said.
"WHAT! WHAT KIND OF KID DOESNT OWN A PHONE!" Gekido yelled.
He grit his teeth together as he swerved the vehicle around each corner. Gekido turned the car sharply, just as a Strike Dagger's vulcan fire spread across the streets. Reiji gasped in shock, then screamed in anger as civilians fell dead to the floor.
"Why is this happening?" he asked.
"Because of an asshole," Gekido said. "Come on Gundam," he muttered.
Meanwhile in the build shop, Sei and his family looked up at the Gundam. Its eyes suddenly lit up, illuminating the garage. Gekido continued speeding through the streets, avoiding gunfire and rushing pedestrians. He came to a dead end and wheel span the car, looking at the Waff as it raised its bazooka. Reiji and Gekido both glared at the grey suit, before it fired. Suddenly, a familiar grey armoured suit crashed through the building behind them. It raised its shield, blocking the bazooka shot. When the smoke from the explosion cleared, the Purpose's eyes glowed, and it crouched on the ground.
"Better late than ever partner," Gekido grinned.
He settled in the Purpose's cockpit, marvelling at how easier it was to control now.
"Reiji, go on ahead to Sei's place and hide out there," he said.
Reiji nodded his head, running into one of the alleyways. The Waff raised its bazooka, only for the Purpose to rush forward. Gekido ignited his right sabre and cut a hole in the front of the Waff, exposing the pilot. The Purpose then crashed its fist through the cockpit, ripping out the pilot.
"YOU'RE GOING TO TELL EVERYTHING YOU KNOW!" Gekido roared, his voice echoing out of the Gundam's speakers.
"Screw you," the pilot said, before foam began to gush out of his mouth.
'Cyanide,' Gekido cursed.
He looked to his left, seeing a Strike Dagger, then to his right, another Strike Dagger, this one with a bazooka.
'Those idiots can't possibly think of using ammunition like that in here right?' Gekido wondered.
He narrowed his eyes as the Strike Dagger fired its bazooka. Making the Gundam jump, he watched the bazooka round. Carefully positioning the Purpose's foot, he activated the gripping claws on it. Grabbing the missile, Gekido quickly swung the Purpose's leg and released the missile, throwing it into the Strike Dagger's head. Then he fired his rifle, kneecapping the other Dagger and sending it crashing to the ground.
"The other Waffs, and that Vagan suit, Purpose, sabres now," Gekido commanded.
The Purpose ignited both sabres, standing ready as the dragon like Vagan suit pummelled the building in front of it. It ignited the sabres in its hands and thrust them at the Purpose. But the Purpose stepped to the side, cutting off the Vagan's arms. Then Gekido swung around, cutting the suit's waist, and the wings behind it. Three Waffs suddenly surrounded the Purpose, one at the right, the other behind it, whilst the third jumped over it. Gekido sheathed his sabres and grabbed the Vagan suit, using as a shield to block the Waff's rocket fire.
Then he ripped the Vagan apart, grabbing the tail and using it as a whip, cutting the Waff's rocket launcher. He quickly fired his rifle, shooting through the cockpit of the Waff behind him. As the Waff above him landed, drawing an axe, Gekido drew a combat knife. He stabbed the Waff through the head, then fired his rifle over its shoulder, hitting the second Waff on the fuel pipe. The resulting explosion obliterated some of the buildings, and consumed the third Waff and the Purpose.
Sei and his family were running away from their life's work. Soldiers and police were on the street, trying to get people to safe shelter. Rather than head towards it, Sei's father led them towards one of the warehouse districts.
"Why are we here Dad?" Sei asked.
"The first production units for the GM, they're here, I need to make sure they're safe," Takeshi said.
He took out his mobile and began typing the number in. Waiting, he smiled as someone picked up.
"Mr Woolf, it's Takeshi Iori, listen, my family and I are at warehouse, the first production models of the GM are here. If they're destroyed then..."
"I know Iori, it'll put Sensou's efforts back by years, my team and I are on our way, just hold out until we get there," Woolf hung up his throne, kicking his car into a higher gear.
Falling behind the former racer, Trowa, Quatre and the Shrike girls were sitting in a jeep, Trowa in the driver's seat. He followed at an equally fast speed, Quatre gritting his teeth together, angered by the explosions and the soldiers filling the street.
"This was a peaceful colony, now it's a war zone," he said.
"All we can do is break up the fighting, and contest the Alliance's imprisonment of the refugees, stopping this conflict as a whole should be Chairwoman Alster's job," Peggy explained.
"Exactly, once we get to the ship we'll need to contact her," Junko said.
"We aren't going onto a ship though," Mahalia said.
Trowa nodded his head, banking to the left, avoiding a police barrier.
"We pick up the GMs, get them to the hanger, and keep Takeshi Iori and his family safe," he explained.
"Mission confirmed as Heero would say," Quatre said, putting on a smile.
He yelped slightly as the jeep bumped, hitting something in the road. Looking outside, his eyes widened in horror, there were civilian bodies in the street.
"We avoided a massive loss of life at the Lunar city, now though, it has already begun," Junko said.
She lowered her head in regret, and more explosions lit up the colony. On the streets, Strike Daggers were trying to bring down the more ferocious Vagan suits. Gafrans and Dorados cut through the suits with their sabres and claws. A Dagger drew its beam sabre, only for the customised, scorpion tail of a yellow Gafran to impale it. There was a sudden booming sound, and the group of Vagan suits turned to their new opponent. The Gundam Age, only its limbs were covered by a type of knight's armour. It held both a shield and sword, its blue eyes glaring at the suits. Inside the suit, Flit looked down at the bodies. His hands, shook, holding the control sticks tightly.
Then he flew forward, blocking a beam blast with his shield. He gripped his sword with both hands and crashed it through a Gafran. The custom Gafran swung its tail, only for the Age to deflect it with its shield. Flit stabbed the Liberta sword through the Gafran's chest. The Age-Swordia pulled its blade free and tackled one of the Dorados. A second Dorados came up behind it, only for the Age to hit it with its shield. Flit swung his sword again and again, cutting through the cockpits of his enemies.
"No mercy," he said, bringing a Dorado to the ground and impaling the cockpit.
He hovered the Age-Swordia across the streets, seeing the civilians and soldiers already dead. A Strike Dagger had crashed into a building, and he could see people moving to assist the pilot. Martian and spacenoid, working together, except it wouldn't last. Finally, the Earth would continue its conflict with Mars, and hopefully eradicate the Vagan menace.
Outside the colony, the Vagan menace was beginning to dominate the battlefield. Gafrans and Dorados were close to destroying the ships in the region. The Ryufo Tallgeese was also easily cutting through one Strike Dagger after another. A Long Dagger fired its missiles and rail gun, but the Tallgeese flew around the rounds and deflected the missiles. It brought up its halberd, crushing the Long Dagger's cockpit and using it as a shield, blocking projectiles fired by Moebius and RB-79 Balls. Meijin laughed as he flew towards the mobile armours. He kicked a Ball into a Moebius, and grabbed another by its cannon. Hitting another Ball with the one he held, Meijin used his Halberd to shield himself from incoming machinegun fire.
Two Daggers led a charge, both customised. One had green armour and was equipped with extra boosters and a Gatling gun. The second had a beam rifle and an IWSP weapons pack. It threw the rifle aside and drew the two antiship swords, firing all of its weapons as the Tallgeese charged. Meijin began to laugh and flew his suit, dodging the heavy weapons fire. More Strike Daggers and Balls flew to the battle, only for customised Dorados to fly in and shoot at them. Meijin impaled the IWSP Dagger and threw it aside.
"Is there anyone out there capable of giving me a decent challenge? IS THERE NO ONE!" he roared.
Woolf and the other Sensou team members rode through what had become a warzone. The remains of Strike Daggers and Dorados had been spread out across the roads, alongside the bodies. Turning the corner, they caught sight of it, the warehouse where the Ioris had put their creations. Takeshi had just finished bring out a truck with a GM on it.
"There are some machines inside the warehouse, only three have full batteries," he said.
Woolf quickly got out of the car, motioning to the other trucks. Junko acknowledged the unspoken order, and led Mahalia and Peggy to the trucks. They started the three vehicles, as Trowa and Quatre followed Woolf into the warehouse. Three GMs were in a stood up position, and there were also three more GMs lying down. Trowa and Quatre quickly climbed into the cargo vehicles, using their cranes to assist the Shrike team. They loaded the mobile suits one at a time, the Shrike girls magnetically clamping the GMs to the back of the trucks they drove.
"What about weapons and ammunition?" Sei asked.
"Forget about them, we need to get to the spaceport as quickly as possible," Woolf said.
He looked towards the corner of the room, where a white sheet had been draped, over what looked like a mobile suit. Quatre climbed into one of the stood up GMs and began running through the activation sequence. The suit's green visor glowed, and data spread across Quatre's computer.
"Its software is much better than the last prototypes, and I see that the generator is much more reliable than the Strike Dagger's," he explained.
"It'll have a better operating time then?" Trowa asked.
"I designed the weapons with an ammo system, so when you fire you aren't draining the main battery, even the beam sabres operate on a separate battery," Takeshi stated.
He put his radio down, and looked down the road. A customised, tank type Ginn was levelling its shoulder cannons on the warehouse. Takeshi let out a gasp, and yelled as the tank fired both cannons. Suddenly, a shield landed in between the warehouse and the mobile suits, blocking the rounds. The Gundam Age suddenly landed on the road, swinging its sword into the Ginn. It crashed the blade through the cockpit, spraying blood across the armour. Flit hovered the Gundam towards the warehouse, stopping it in front of Takeshi's truck.
"Takeshi Iori, you're under arrest," he said across the suit's speakers.
"OI! OI! OI!" Woolf yelled, running out of the warehouse and looking up at the Age.
"Woolf, Alliance intelligence recently managed to turn up some interesting facts about Sensou's new friend," Flit said.
"What facts Flit?" Woolf asked.
"Takeshi Iori was born in the Mars colonies, specifically the area that became the Vagan region," Flit's statement made Woolf look at Takeshi for a moment.
The man didn't seem nervous at all, as Flit probably expected him to be.
"Why does that justify arresting him?" Rinko asked, gripping her husband's arm.
"He is a Vagan collaborator," Flit said.
"Bullshit," Woolf growled.
The other Sensou team members exchanged nervous looks. Flit moved the Age forward, raising the sword and pointing it at Takeshi's truck.
"Exit the vehicle and come into my custody," he said.
Suddenly, the roof of the warehouse was smashed open, and a Gundam type mobile suit emerged. It looked like the Strike, but its shoulder armour was red and shaped differently from the EA's original suit. Inside the machine, Sei gripped the controls tightly, not out of anger but fear.
"Get away from my mum and dad," the boy mustered his courage, and launched his custom machine, the Build Strike, upwards.
But when it landed, Sei stumbled, falling onto one of the buildings. Sweat drops ran down the back of Takeshi and Rinko's heads, whilst Woolf put a palm to his face, embarrassed by Sei's lack of skill. The Gundam Age raised its sword, bringing it down on the Build Strike's shoulder.
"Surrender and come into my custody," he said, turning the Age's head towards Takeshi and Rinko.
Suddenly, multiple Dorados mobile suits landed around the area. They levelled their weapons at the Age.
"We're surrounded," Woolf cursed, gritting his teeth together.
Flit moved away from the Strike, keeping his sword ready. One of the Dorados prepared to move, only for a beam round to suddenly pound through its armour. Flit looked towards where the shot came from. In the distance stood the Purpose, holding its sniper rifle at the ready. The V-Fin was covering the Purpose's eyes, and inside the machine, Gekido held his sniping camera. He began firing multiple shots, hitting the Dorados closest to the warehouse. The shots he fired pierced one's cockpit, and destroyed another's head, before taking off its right arm and left leg. Gekido adjusted his camera, zooming in on a machine close to the Age.
"You'd guys had better make use of this," he said, before firing a shot.
The beam brushed past the Age, hitting the generator of a Dorados. Flit turned to the explosion, distracted for a moment. A mechanical arm on the Purpose's shield, quickly unscrewed the barrel of his rifle. An arm on his other shield, quickly removed the battery pack, slamming it to the ground. Both arms worked in perfect synch, one applying a new barrel, the other injecting a magazine with solid rounds in. Gekido again adjusted his camera, this time targeting the Age.
"You people had better get moving," Gekido said.
He pulled the trigger, sending a round crashing into the Age's shoulder. Rather than destroy the armour, the bullet broke apart, releasing a cloud of smoke. Flit looked at the smoke, gritting his teeth together, seeing the anti-beam particles inside them. The weapons of the Dorados suits were rendered useless. There was also interference with radar, and the view was partially blocked. The Sensou team looked up in awe, as the Purpose flew over them, blowing away some of the smoke, giving them a clear route of escape. Gekido landed behind the Age and fired its head Vulcans, hitting the head of a Dorados. He then blocked its claw swipe, and punched through the cockpit.
"We have a way out, LETS GO!" Woolf yelled.
"What about Sei?" Rinko asked.
"He'll be fine, Gekido has him," Junko said.
Woolf quickly climbed into the truck Peggy was in.
"Shotgun," he said, gripping the steering wheel.
Peggy however elbowed him, gripping the wheel possessively.
"I've got this," she said.
Mahalia quickly ran into the warehouse, climbing into the third GM.
"RGM-79 [E], this unit's for space," she said, reading the data from the computer screen.
"Mine is a ground use prototype, what about yours Trowa?" Quatre asked.
Trowa's suit burst out of the warehouse, revealing the thicker armour and the cannons on its shoulders. Inside, Trowa's screen read 'RGC-80-1', just like it read on the GM's left shoulder. Trowa broke the GM off into a jog, following the transport trucks. Mahalia and Quatre quickly followed, with the Iori's falling behind slightly. Flit crashed his blade through a Dorados, catching a view of the retreating Sensou squad. He launched the Age forward in midair, only to lurch forward in his chair. Something had grabbed the Age's leg. Gekido yelled as he swung the Age, the Purpose's arms didn't groan from the work, they were stronger than ever. The Purpose slammed the Age head first into the ground, cracking its main camera, and breaking some of its armour.
"You aren't going anywhere," Gekido said.
As the Purpose raised its head, Gekido caught sight of a jeep driving away. He activated the sniping camera, looking at the back of the driver's head. When the driver turned his head, he saw the man's glowing eyes, and the grin on his face.
"It's one of them," Gekido said, gritting his teeth together, as he looked down at Sei and then the fleeing enemy.
"Sei, get up and follow me, but when the fighting starts, don't interfere," he said.
Sei slowly got up and nodded the Build Strike's head. He and Gekido both began flying after the jeep, leaving the Age behind. The Age's eyes suddenly glowed.
(Gundam Build Fighters OST-Power Resonance)
The Ryofu Tallgeese was flying across the battlefield, dodging hails of missiles and beams. Meijin laughed as he dodged each attack launched at him. He split missiles apart with his halberd, spinning it over his head as he crashed it through the bridges of battleships. Thrust it forward, he impaled two Strike Daggers, before throwing them into a Duel Dagger. The Duel Dagger tried to aim its shoulder cannon, only for Meijin to knock it off with his halberd. He squeezed the Dagger's rifle so hard that it broke. Then he flew back, dodging the missiles and Vulcans the Dagger fired.
"Without your weapons you are no match for me, NO ONE IS!" Meijin yelled.
He threw his halberd, sticking it through the Dagger's missile launcher. Then he gripped the sides of the Dagger's head, ripping off its Vulcans.
"No one can beat me," Meijin dodged the Dagger's beam sabre, kicking it aside.
He delivered a vicious kick to the Dagger's head, pulling his halberd out at the same time. Swinging it downwards, Meijin split the Dagger down the middle, both parts blew up and illuminated the Ryofu Tallgeese. Meijin scowled, finding the enemies he fought pathetic.
"I am the strongest there is, none can hope to match me," he said, before narrowing his eyes underneath his visor.
Two more Duel Daggers appeared, alongside a Sword Calamity, equipped with samurai swords and claws on its shields. Then came a Buster Dagger, with additional cannons on its shoulders. A Raider flew around the Tallgeese, this one shaped more like a bird than the original. Meijin looked at each enemy, and smirked.
(Gundam Build Fighters OST-Meijin Six times the passion)
The Tallgeese opened its rockets, its visor flashing as it spun its halberd. Meijin flew forward, blocking the missiles with his halberd, and dodging the beams the Buster Dagger fired. He turned, blocking the Sword Calamity's katana. Shoving the Calamity back, Meijin stabbed his halberd through its chest cannon, destroying the weapon before it could fire. He then flipped his halberd around, slicing through the Calamity's arms. The pilot inside screamed before Meijin crashed his blade through the cockpit.
"TAKE THIS!" one of the Duel Dagger pilots yelled, firing the beam bazooka he was carrying.
Meijin swerved to the left, and flew at the Buster Dagger. He dodged each beam it fired, and span his halberd, blocking the following missiles. When the Buster fired its extra artillery cannons, Meijin flipped back, kicking the Dagger upwards. He then swung his halberd through the Buster Dagger's back, cutting it in half. The Raider flew towards the Tallgeese, igniting its beam wings. But the Tallgeese quickly dropped, raising its halberd for the Raider to fly through.
"I AM INVINCIBLE!" Meijin yelled.
He flew forward, dodging the attacks of the Duel Daggers. Before both pilots knew it, the Tallgeese was in front of them, cutting through both units. Meijin broke off into a laugh, hanging his head back as he continued to cut his dead enemies apart.
"There is no one, no one who can match me," Meijin grinned.
(End OST)
His alarm blared, and he swerved to the right, dodging a shot from a beam rifle. He looked towards where the shot had come from, and grinned. Floating in front of him were two mobile suits.
First there was a black Over Flag, only it was equipped with a Trans-Am booster of some kind. It had a pair of samurai sword hilts on its hips. Inside the mobile suit, a blonde haired man with burns sat, wearing a white Union flight suit.
"This is Graham Aker in the Flag Sekigahara," he said.
Next to him floated a Tallgeese, modified, but not as much as the Ryofu. The red ornament on its helmet was more elaborate though, it also had yellow lines on some parts of its armour. As well as its standard Dober gun and shield it also carried a heat lance. But most impressive of all was the shoulder mounted rockets, they too had been heavily modified. There possessed additional boosters, equipped to binders that were shaped like angelic wings. Inside the suit, another blonde haired man sat, his hair lighter than Graham's, longer too. He wore a red flight suit.
"Zechs Merquise, Tallgeese Flugel, by the authority granted by the Alliance and Sensou, you will stop fighting!"
Meijin's grin grew as he brandished his halberd. Suddenly, two beams flew into his rocket boosters/ Meijin widened his eyes, as a beam sabre blade suddenly appeared in front of him. It cleaved the Ryofu Tallgeese, leaving two halves, and a dead pilot. Zechs and Graham seperated, standing their ground.
They saw movement, funnels reattaching to something. Then the Mirage Colloid faded, revealing a mobile suit. Its previously black armour turned white as it spread both arms out. It was a familiar suit from the battle of Jachin Due, but with White armour instead of the grey and blue. Dragoon funnels were attached to its hips, as well as on its back skirt. Attached to its right shoulder was a dragoon funnel pack, the exact same shape as the original. A shield was attached to its left shoulder, equipped with regular funnels, and a Judicium beam rifle was attached to an arm on its back.
"It can't be, that machine was destroyed at Jachin Due," Zechs said.
"Along with its pilot," Graham muttered.
Both men widened their eyes as they heard the echoing, digitised voice of a dead man.
"Faux Providence Crucible, ready to begin!"
Meanwhile in the Build colony, a hanger launcher finally slid out. A red machine stepped onto the launcher, crouching as latches gripped its feet.
"So this is a version of what ZAFT is developing, a good suit," the pilot said.
The blonde haired lieutenant pushed his sunglasses up his nose as he commenced the launching process.
"I can see them out there, the enemy," he whispered. "Thank you for letting me borrow this Tatsuya, I'll try to bring it back in one piece."
"Something tells me you can make better use of that machine than I can Lieutenant," Tatsuya said over the radio. "You're clear!"
"Zaku Amazing, launching!"
Next Chapter 16: 'He's a Char!'
Hope everyone enjoyed the chapter, next chapter will hopefully be up quicker, cause its one I'm really looking forward to writing.
Hope I surprised everyone too, next time its a battle for the ages.
The Tallgeese Flugel isn't an original machine, its an actual variant used by Zechs in one of the Gundam Wing Mangas.
The Flag Sekigahara is original, its backpack is the same as the Exia Amazing/Dark Matter, and it has beam katanas, drawing from Graham's time as Mr Bushido.
The Faux Providence Crucible is based on the Nix Providence, but an entirely white machine, and without the Composite shield system.
