Gundam Rise Purpose
Chapter 16: He's a char
Sei was breathing heavily, his heart was beating harder than it had in his life. He felt safe behind the Purpose, but was still afraid. Watching the back of the Gundam, he took note of the full burnem thrusters, the orange Ginn arm, the feint outline of what the Purpose originally was, before Gekido altered it with upgrades and layers of extra armour. Gekido raised his arm as they came to a halt near the airlock.
"He abandoned the jeep," he said.
"Who's he?" Sei asked.
"The man responsible for the director's death, for everything that's happened," Gekido said.
The Purpose stepped inside the airlock, followed by the Build Strike. Gekido looked over his shoulder, for a moment not seeing the Strike's red shoulder armour.
"Try to keep up Kira," Gekido grinned.
"Kira?" Gekido bit his lip, cursing his lapse in his current reality.
Reminiscing of old times had done that to him.
"Sorry, someone I knew piloted a Strike, in fact he was the first, second if you count the test pilot," he elaborated, clearing Sei's own confusion.
But a light hearted smile spread across the boy's face.
"Do I remind you of him?" he asked.
"Trust me, if you were anything like him, we definitely wouldn't be friends anytime soon," Gekido snorted.
He rotated the hatch, beginning the airlock sequence. Oxygen readings began to go down, as the narrow space turned red. Suddenly, the hatch opened, and Sei felt as if his body had lost weight. He felt the Strike too rise up slightly. Adjusting his controls, he used his manoeuvring thrusters to follow the Purpose. When the Purpose suddenly shifted into jet form, the boy's eyes lit up, as if he as at a candy store.
"Get on my back now," Gekido said.
Sei gripped the sides of the Purpose, taking a deep breath. He barely exhaled as the Purpose began flying at top speed. G-forces pushed Sei into his seat, something he didn't think would happen in space. He marvelled at how powerful the thrusters of the Purpose were. Gekido flew the Purpose, and at the same time tracked the fighter the Innovade Eins was using to escape. The fighter flew into a debris field, and Gekido pinched the bridge of his nose in frustration. Suits suddenly flew out of the debris field. They were simple, grey armoured, mobile suit prototypes known as Waffs.
"Those machines are beyond obsolete, why would he try to stop you with those?" Sei asked.
"Those sort of suits can only be found at the side colonies," Gekido said.
He waited, waited for them to make the first move. As soon as one fired his bazooka, he swerved. The manoeuvre threw Sei off of the Purpose as it transformed. Raising its rifle, it fired, hitting one of the Waffs in the head. Gekido then charged forward, igniting his beam sabre. He sliced one across the chest, then stabbed another in the chest. The lifeless machine fell back, and Gekido looked to the debris field. Rocks and junk suddenly began to fly out at him. He moved to the left and right, weaving between each projectile. A sudden scream quickly made him realise, he wasn't the only target. Gekido turned and flew to Sei's aid, slicing apart the rocks that hit the Build Strike.
"Are you all right?" he asked the boy.
Sei hesitantly nodded his head, saluting for vane reassurance. Gekido pushed the Strike with the Purpose, dodging an orange beam. The attack was fast, and powerful, the Purpose's sensors reading the output. It matched, perhaps even surpassed the original Strike's agni cannon. The Purpose pushed the Strike so that it was a fair distance away. Its eye glowed as the machine in the field revealed itself. At first, it seemed like a big, but simple machine, a cannon type suit with claws. Then, it turned, and began to transform. Its arms reversed position, and a head popped into place. The mobile suit's armour was white, the cockpit area was green, and a green symbol shined on its V-fin.
"Reversible Gundam," Eins declared, his face appearing on the main screen.
He was wearing a white Celestial being flight suit, a green visor protecting his face. The Innovade raised the Gundam's GN buster rifle and pistol.
"I really wish you had decided not to pursue Mr Kuzunagi, especially with such a brilliant and young builder with you. Sei's imagination and potential would make him a fine addition to the organisation," Eins grinned, seeing Gekido's teeth grind into a glare.
He wasted no time in a retort, firing the Purpose's beam rifle. As the Reversible blocked it, the Purpose's additional mechanical arm changed the barrel on the rifle. At the same time, Gekido fired his second rifle, aiming to make the Reversible Gundam fly up. Again Eins blocked. Gekido held down the trigger from the Vulcans, pelting the shield again and again, bullets and beams striking it. Unable to bear the assault, Eins flew up, as Gekido hoped he would. The mechanical arm had finished placing on the barrel for the rail rifle, which had finished charging. Gekido fired, releasing the kinetic round. Eins's eyes flared yellow as he suddenly jerked the Reversible, diving to avoid the devastating attack. The destructive trail it left in the debris field attested to that.
"Go fangs," he commanded.
Red particles spread like a dust, the remote controlled bits ejecting from Eins's shield. They flew until they went out of sight, intending to catch Gekido off guard. Sei couldn't see the bits, it has seemed that with a simple rotation they disappeared. He didn't even see the fang flying when Gekido cut it apart. Not losing motion, Gekido fired his rifle, then switched the rail barrel for the pistol. Twice he fired with the rifle, before hip firing with the pistol, hitting and destroying Eins's own pistol. Despite the loss it only seemed to amuse Eins further, his grin spreading, even as his heart pounded against his chest. The very thought of losing, and dying because of it frightened and threatened his composure. Yet because of that, he had never felt so exhilarated.
"Oh my god, it can change," Sei watched in amazement as the Reversible switched to dragon mode.
It tried to grab at the Purpose with its claws, only for the Gundam to slice the right claw off. Suddenly, the second claw was launched forward. Electricity sparked from both suits as the Purpose was suddenly caught by the leg. Gekido yelled, the plasma field making his arm shake, unable to fully grip or use his control sticks. Despite his pounding heart, Sei drew the Strike's beam sabre and flew forward.
(Gundam Wing OST-Legends of Zero)
The Tallgeese Flugal thrusts its lance at the Providence Nix, drawing it back. Zechs fired his doper gun multiple times, making the Providence dodge and block. He drew his beam sabre as the Providence flew towards him, ignited its own beam sabre. Both sabres clashed and the eyes of their machines flared. The Dragoons on the Providence's shoulder began to separate. Zechs's eyes darted from one screen to another, following the movements of the bits. They fired, not single green beams, but multiple pink ones. Their power output was much better than the original Providence, and the bits themselves had multiple nozzles to fire multiple beams. The Tallgeese spread its wings, activating the thrusters inside them. performing fast spins and swerves that allowed it to dodge the net of beams the dragoons fired. Zechs targeted the Providence and fired, making it rotate the shield on its shoulder. The Tallgeese thrust its lance forward, hitting the shield head on.
"The shield can withstand physical attacks too," Zechs noted.
He brought his sabre down, and the Providence deflected it. Kicking the Tallgeese back, the Providence fired the rifle on its shoulder, again making Zechs dodge. The Providence turned, seeing the black flag flying towards it in mobile armour mode.

"I've got you," Graham said, performing his signature transforming move.
He ignited both beam katana, bringing them down on the Providence's shield. The Providence ignited the sabre built into the shield, a sabre as long and powerful as the Meteor pack sabres. It slammed them into Flag's sabres, releasing sparks across space. The locked machines span and pushed one another. Graham switched to mobile armour mode again, dodging the network of beams the still active dragoons fired. They fired again and again, brushing the Flag's armour.
"Trans-Am!" Graham declared.
Particles surged out of the Flag Sekigahara's shoulder, and its armour turned red. Suddenly, its speed increased, leaving after images as it transformed and struck the Providence. The Providence fired its rifle and dragoons together, the Flag easily dodging the beams. Then it drew two beam sabres, parrying the Flag's hit and run strikes.
"It reacts a lot faster than a doll," the Flag fighter noted.
He moved behind the Providence, only for the dragoons to form a beam wall. Graham quickly flew back, dodging a few more beams before he gained sufficient distance from the Providence. The Flag Sekigahara opened its chest, revealing a beam cannon. Energy surged into the barrels, before an orange ball was launched from it. It flew straight towards the Providence, which stayed still. Graham smiled, knowing it would be a direct hit. Three of the dragoons however linked together, and began to spin in front of the Providence. They span so fast, and generated so much energy, that they formed a spinning pink buzz saw. The orange ball slammed into the shield, and dispersed.
"That's new," Graham muttered.
Several shots flew out at the Providence, making it back away. Its Dragoons linked onto its shoulder again, and the Gundam looked towards where the shots had come from.

The Zaku Amazing was flying at the Providence, firing its long rifle. Undeterred by the solid ammunition, the Gundam dodged each shot, then released its dragoons. The Lieutenant stopped the Zaku, looking around for the dragoons. He remained calm, looking at one screen, remaining calm through the eerie silence. A sound echoed in his mind, like a bell.
"I can see them," he said.
The Lieutenant moved to the left, the only movement he needed to avoid the net of beams the dragoons formed. He fired the Zaku's missiles, hitting two of the dragoons. There was a pause in the Providence's movement, as if shocked by the Zaku's performance. It then fired its rifle, again prompting the Zaku to move. The Lieutenant put the rifle away, taking out the Zaku's pistols. He targeted and began flying around the Providence, dodging beams as he flew. Shells slammed into the Providence, pushing it back. It formed two dragoon shields, disintegrating the shells, then fired back with the rifle. The Zaku span, building momentum as it switched to one of its heat knives. It slammed the knife into the Providence's shield, cutting it and throwing the Providence back.
"Incredible," Graham and Zechs muttered.
Not to be outdone, they flew towards the Providence.

The mercenaries were pushing against the Earth forces. Several Strike Daggers were shot apart by the enemy, whilst a G-ace was impaled by a Dorado. The machine's visor glowed as it cast the mobile suit aside. In one of the Drake class ships, the bridge crew glared at the Dorado as it moved towards them. A beam suddenly pierced through the Dorado's cockpit. The Earth Alliance forces looked to the build colony, as several mobile suits flew out of it. At the front, having fired the shot that saved the Salamis Kai, was the Wing Gundam Fenice. Fellini spread the Gundam's wings as he raised his buster cannon. He fired, destroying several enemy suits, before hitting the Fa Bose class.
"That wasn't a kill shot, surrender now," Fellini said.
He widened his eyes in surprise as the enemy suits continued firing.
"They won't back down," Greco flew past Fellini.
His customised Tallgeese Valkyrie raised its mega beam cannon launcher, firing a blast that consumed several mobile suits. Two other mobile suits flew past him, Mahalia in the GM prototype and Trowa in the Prototype GM Cannon. He fired both cannons, feeling the recoil knock his machine back. Despite this, the two shells managed to hit their target, a Dorados. With the cover provided by the explosion, Mahalia moved her unit in, firing her machine gun. She sprayed a Waff until it stopped moving, then hit a Gafran in the head. Two Waffs fired their bazookas at her, only for two beams to hit their rockets. A Shalldoll custom moved through the battlefield, equipped with an additional machine gun on its shoulder, and piloted by Peggy. She fired her beam rifle, hitting a Gafran in the chest. Rolling the shoulder Gatling, she cut a Waff apart, before kicking a Waff into a volley of missiles. They were fired by a Hugo, with customised heat blades instead of the traditional scimitars, it also had a grey paint job, with blue highlights. Junko flew the machine threw the enemy forces, cutting down a Dorados and Gafran. She hit a second Gafran with her anchor, swinging it around before throwing it into Trowa's artillery fire.
"Push them back," Woolf said.
His new machine, the G-Exes went back to back with Ral's blue Bugu. Ral fired his machine gun, and Woolf fired his beam rifle, the pair destroying the enemies that had surrounded them. Woolf drew fired several missiles, giving Ral cover. Ramba drew his heat axe, slicing a Gafran across the chest. He threw the axe, imbedding it in a Dorados's chest.
"Rage on, Rage on!" Tatsuya smirked as he moved his machine forward.
(Gundam Build Fighters OST-Crimson Comet)
The Gundam Vrabe removed a hyper bazooka from its back, firing several rockets. They struck a Waff, then a Dorados. A Gafran moved towards Tatsuya in dragon form. Using the blade on the Vrabe's arm, Tatsuya beheaded the dragon, then kicked it aside. He switched to his beam rifle, darting left and right, moving at speeds the mercenaries couldn't keep up with.
"Damn speedy bastard, come on!"
"STAY STILL!"
Tatsuya fired one shot after another, each hitting the target. He kept on firing, shooting down one enemy after another. Two Waff pilots panicked, screaming as the beams took off their limbs, before hitting their cockpits. The Vrabe seemed to disappear, much to the frustration of a Baqto pilot. Suddenly, a pair of beam sabres ignited in the distance, along with a pair of eyes. Tatsuya flew straight towards the Baqto, slicing off its hands with one sabre. Then impaling it in the chest with the other.
"Wow, he's pretty good," Junko said.
"I believe the term is Amazing," Mahalia grinned and Peggy chuckled.
(Gundam Build Fighters-OST-Gundam Build Fighters)
Sei yelled as he swung his sabre at the Reversible, slicing off the claw holding the Purpose. Gekido slammed his fist into the Reversible, throwing it back. He quickly grabbed Sei, avoiding the beams from the fangs. The pair flew up, Gekido pushing Sei as he fired his Vulcans. One by one, the fangs were shot apart.
"TRANS AM!" Eins yelled.
Switching to Gundam mode, the Reversible ignited its beam sabre and flew towards Gekido. The Gundam's eye shined red, before the armour of the machine began to shine a gold colour. Red wings burst from the thrusters, and the Purpose ignited both its beam sabres. The Gundams collided, the spectacular show of lights and electricity froze Sei in shock and awe. They separated, then slammed their heads together, before Eins swung his sabre towards the Purpose's head. Gekido ducked, following Eins's movement. Eins's eyes glowed the Innovator yellow, and Gekido's eye narrowed into a slit.
The three machines of Sensou clashed with the Providence. Graham sliced a dragoon apart, and hit the side of the machine. Zechs tackled the Providence, then shot a Dragoon. The Lieutenant locked weapons with the Providence's shield sabre, whilst Graham and Zechs locked sabres with the Providence's handheld sabres. They span, the three blonde pilots smirking, only their rivals had given them such worthy opponents. Inside the Providence, a man mirrored their grins. The Providence pushed the three mobile suits back, sending its remaining Dragoons at them. Sabres ignited on the dragoons, all three machines swerving to avoid them. They looked towards where the Providence had been, and saw that it had disappeared.
"Impossible, he's actually keeping up with my movements, not just the machine, but him too!" Eins said to himself.
He switched to cannon mode, charging his shot. Gekido raised his rifle, the mechanical arm switching the barrel for the rail gun. The barrel opened, and gold energy surged between the two struts. Sei raised his arms as the Gundams fired devastating beams, the collision of them pushing both machines back. Gekido gripped his controls tightly and roared, the Gundam's red eye shining as it flew forward. At the last moment, the Purpose swung its arm, sending the gold beam flying past the Reversible. Sei lowered his arms, looking at the Reversible Gundam. It was missing its whole right side, the machine's entire back unit fell apart as it transformed to Gundam mode.

"Well, well, well, looks like the old Innovade intelligence wasn't wrong about you, you and your machine are truly linked," a flickering image of Eins appeared on Gekido's main screen.
His helmet was cracked, and blood was running down the edge of his mouth.
"Well done Gekido, you've given me some ideas for my next suit," Eins said.
"Good to know I've helped your self improvement," the Innovade huffed in amusement at Gekido's dig.
"It was a good fight, I'm looking forward to the next one," a grin spread across Eins's face as he slammed his fist into his face plate.
Gekido listened to the man suffocate, hoping Sei hadn't done the same. When he saw the blue haired boy's chirpy face on the main screen, he sighed in relief.
"That was incredible Gekido," Sei said.
Gekido looked to his right, seeing the approaching Gundam Age. It was in the Spallow configuration, using light armour and a Shiguru blade. Inside the machine, Flit focused on the remains of the Reversible, before turning to Gekido.
"What's going on here?" he demanded.
"You're one of those Newtype wannabe X-rounders right? Surely your intuition has figured it out," Gekido said.
Flit shook his head, not impressed by Gekido's challenging demeanour. He held the Shiguru blade at the ready, preparing to strike.
"Look pal, this thing here was piloted by someone who wanted there to be a massacre at the colony, he wanted you to chase the Vagan. He was using your hatred, and still is, because someone wants there to be another war. You really think the Earth has the resources right now to fight another war? Which is more important, love for Earth, or your damned revenge?" Gekido asked.
Flit raised his head, the X-rounder surge ringing in his mind.
"Something is about to happen to the colony," he said.
"Woolf," Gekido switched on his radio.
"To keep things short the Fa Bose class has put itself on a collision course with the colony," the former racer said.
He was firing his beam rifle at the ship, alongside the Federation and Build colony defenders. Gekido looked at the Purpose's hand, the armour was still glowing. The Gundam squeezed its hand into a fist, and transformed into jet mode.
"Right, let's do it partner!"

The Purpose rushed past the Age Gundam, at a rate that Flit couldn't keep up with. Gekido gripped his controls tightly, the targeting retina appearing over his eye. The pupil narrowed into a slit as the Purpose increased speed. The Fa Bose class was firing its main guns at the colony defenders. Woolf had his arm blown off, but still fired his beam rifle at the machine. He yelled, hitting the ship again and again.
"Come on just stop damn it, STOP!" Mahalia yelled.
The Tallgeese, Zaku and Flag moved behind the Fa Bose, firing at the thrusters. They were destroying them, but even focused fire wouldn't get them all. Inside the colony, Takuya held Rinko close.
"At least Sei got out," he whispered to her.
"My boy," tears ran down her eyes as she wrapped her hands around her husband's waist.
Reiji looked up at the sky, his expression determined.
"He'll do it, Gekido!" he pumped his fists, his faith in the Purpose and its pilot.
Gekido roared, the Purpose's own digital cry echoing with him. The jet pierced through the side of the Fa Bose, then burst out of the other side, the Purpose switching to Gundam mode as it did. Raising its rail gun, it aimed it at the ship.
"ONE MORE SHOT!" Gekido yelled, pulling the trigger.
He fired the kinetic round into the very heart of the ship, triggering an explosion that threw the Purpose back.

Through the flames the Purpose flew, revealing itself to the Sensou pilots. Woolf let out a loud cheer, much to the chagrin of the more stoic ace pilots. With the fighting over, the Sensou pilots gathered at the dock. Woolf narrowed his eyes slightly as Flit walked towards his group.
"What are you up to Asuno?" Woolf asked.
"I came to apologise, I was acting on false Intel, but I'll make sure to follow my course correctly. I still believe the Vagan will be a threat to Earth one day, but, they at least weren't responsible for this," Flit explained.
He looked up at the Prototype GMs.
"Sensou's future mobile suit development program, is safe, good luck old friend," he said, waving over his shoulder as he turned.
Later that day, the Sensou pilots gathered at the Iori hobby shop. Gekido looked up at the Purpose, Takuya was finishing attaching a type of mask to the head.
"Thanks, that'll and the adjustments to the shading, will help me keep a low profile," he said, shaking the man's hand.
The men walked into the hobby shop, where Reiji stood with Sei.
"Face me in a Gunpla battle," Reiji challenged.
Sei placed a Gunpla on the table.
"Star Build Strike, my custom machine," he said.
Gekido put a hand to his chin, making the adults smirk as the teens looked at him for an answer.
"All right, I accept your challenge!"
Reiji and Sei both cheered as they rushed to the Gunpla board. Sei gave the Gunpla to Reiji, who smirked as he set his down. Gekido took out the Gunpla he had been building, it was a grey variant of the perfect Gundam 3, with a GN drive instead of the regular back pack, and an extra gun launcher on its shoulder.
"Please set your GP Base!"
Both set their models onto the board, the room going dim as the plavsky particles were released. Sei pumped his fists in anticipation, whilst the elders watched in excitement. The field began to materialise on the board. It was the build colony itself.
"Build Strike, Reiji launching!"
" Gundam Exia Grey Warrior, launching!"
(Gundam Build Fighters Opening 1)
Reiji performed a spin with the Star Build Strike, getting a feel for the controls. He widened his eyes as a blast flew towards him. Swerving out of the way, he looked towards the Grey Warrior. It was stood on the rooftop of the PPSE building. Gekido raised both his gun launchers, and fired. Reiji smirked as he raised his shield, opening its centre. Both beams were suddenly erased by the shield.
"Did he..."
"Absorb the shield, that would be some impressive tech to add to a suit," Woolf said.
Gekido fired again and again, hitting the shield. Again and again Reiji absorbed the blast, Gekido watching the process, becoming more familiar with it each time. He noticed the lights on the Strike's rifle grow in their intensity. Taking to the sky, Gekido used the missile launchers on he had attached to the Exia's feet. They were each shot out of the sky by the Strike's vulcans. Reiji raised his head, standing his ground as the Grey Warrior suddenly lunged towards him. Gekido thrust his GN sword, dragging it against the Strikes Vulcan.
"COME ON REIJI, SEI! I KNOW YOU CAN BOTH DO BETTER THAN THAT!" Gekido yelled.
He drew the additional gun blade from the Warrior's hip, locking his blades with the Strike's beam sabres. Rei grit his teeth together, feeling the strength of the warrior, and Gekido's unrelenting fury. He pushed the warrior, flying upwards.
"Don't hold back Reiji, come on, don't, hold, back!" with each word he spoke, Gekido fired his gunblade.
And with each shot, Reiji absorbed more power. The Star Build Strike raised its rifle, as an additional handle folded out of it. Bits shot out of its joints, forming a halo behind the Star Build.
"Hit me Reiji, hit me with everything you've got!" Gekido smiled as the Grey Warrior crossed its arms together.
Reiji and Sei yelled as the Strike fired its main cannon. The magnificent blast flew into the Grey Warrior, penetrating the streets behind it. Explosions spread across the stage, and the vacuum pulled the Star Build in. Reiji yelled as the Strike was pulled into deep space. He felt something slam into the Star Build, throwing him even further back. The Grey Warrior emerged from the light, its gun launchers falling to pieces as it ignited its wrist sabres. Part of the Gundam's face had broken off too.
"Amazing, simply amazing!" Tatsuya said.
"Now this is a Gunpla battle," Fellini smiled.
"AWESOME!" Maoh yelled.
"You really are something else, Gekido," Reiji said.
"Stop complementing me and come at me, with everything you have Reiji, fight me!"
Gekido aimed his fist at Reiji, and action the Grey Warrior repeated. More bits emerged from the glowing RG parts on the Strike's joints. The limbs of the Strike began to glow as the bits surrounded the Strike's arms, and formed a shroud behind it.
(Gundam Build Fighters Opening 2)
"FIGHT ME WITH ALL YOUR POWER!" Gekido roared.
The Grey Warrior flew forward, its eye glowing red as the Star Build surged towards it. Reiji and Gekido yelled as they slammed their sabres together. The two machines circled around one another, clashing sabres again and again. Reiji let go of his sabres as Gekido kicked him across the head. Gritting his teeth together, Reiji raised his shield, sacrificing it to Gekido's sabres.
"RG system activated," Reiji declared, flying the Star Build back.
He slammed his fists together, the energy surging through his parts. The Grey Warrior flew back, turning its head to the figures emerging onto the field. Tatsuya's Amazing Zaku, Fellini's wing and Maohs Gundam X.
"This is it, the essence of Gunpla battle, rage on!" Tatsuya said, slicking his hair back.
Gekido increased the output of his sabres as Fellini activated his beam shroud, and Maoh made the X's back panels glow. Maoh, Tatsuya, Fellini and Reiji flew towards Gekido, making him grin in excitement.
'This game, I love it, I love it,' Gekido thought, as the Grey Warrior activated its Trans Am.
The light coming from the board illuminated the smiles of the pilots, and the awe of those watching the battle.
"BUILD KNUCKLE!" Reiji and Sei yelled as the Gunplas clashed with Gekido.
Everyone in the room except for Gekido shielded their eyes as the light shined forth from the board. When it passed, the adults widened their eyes in shock and awe. Within the middle of the wrecked machines, the Grey Warrior included, was the Purpose. Its fist was raised in victory.
"New challenger!" the board's speakers broadcasted.
"Well what do you know partner, looks like none of us win," Gekido said.
(Gundam Build Fighters Ending 2)
"That truly was amazing," Tatsuya said.
"We'll get stronger, the next time we fight, we'll be much stronger," Reiji whispered.
"This battle, has already made us stronger," Sei smiled confidently and Gekido smirked.
'Mission accomplished,' he thought.
"New challenger!"
Gekido raised his head in confusion, an action the Purpose repeated. It turned, towards a machine flying to the battle. Though stumbled was the more appropriate term. Its arms and legs were thrashing about, giving it the affect of walking in space. The mobile suit, if it could be called that, had yellow armour and a head bigger than anything Gekido had seen on a suit before. He narrowed his eyes at the machine as it fully revealed itself.
"Beargguy!" Sei named the machine.
"KAWAI!" the Shrike team screamed in adoration.
Gekido's eyebrows twitched, whilst the Purpose's eyes went into an SD form, conveying its shock.
"I HATE CUTE THINGS!" Gekido yelled.
Some battles were better left forgotten, that was what Gekido felt as the Purpose flew away from the Build colony, going into jet mode once it was far enough. Still, he would remember the build colony fondly, and the reprieve it gave him from his search for answers. But now, he was going back to searching for the answers. Answers to new questions that had arose from the battle at the Build colony. To find those answers, he would go to the Side colonies.
"Those people got their mobile suits somehow, I'm going to find those answers," Gekido's eyes narrowed in a determined glare.
He pushed forward on the controls, and with a flash, the Purpose disappeared into space.

30th Colony
"We have the absolute authority to act here."
Strike Daggers with the Titan colours flew around the colony. A Titan Gundam Mark 2 suddenly flew in front of the squad.
"Someone is providing arms to terrorists."
Jamitov Hymen crossed his arms as he looked over the colony.
"Riots have broken out, questioning OUR AUTHORITY!"
The Purpose raised its hand to the colony, inside Gekido was shaking, tears leaking out of his eyes as they narrowed into feral slits.
"I know exactly how to put them all in line!"
Tragedy strikes.
Kamille Bidan and the crew of the Argama watched in horror.
"You murdering...BASTARDS!"

The Purpose's eye flared red and it released a digitised roar.
Strike Daggers fired at Zeon Waffs and Bugus. A heavily armoured Duel Dagger slammed a beam mace into a Bugu.
"Surrender you puny Spacenoids, or face the Wrath of the Titans!"

A Strike in Titan colours crossed swords with the Purpose.
"We're fighting for the Earth Alliance, for every citizen of the sphere...right?"

The Purpose crossed its sabres together, as a red Gundam raised its beam rifle.

"As tragic as this event was, with this, Sensou can now take its place as the number one peacekeeping group in the Earth sphere," Flay Alster said as she raised her head.
The tragedy at Side 1, Purpose vs. the Titans!
Hope everyone enjoyed the chapter. That's it, the end of the Build arc, but that doesn't mean the characters from this arc wont return. Likewise, the Wing and Turn A and Age characters can return as well. Next time, Gekido meets a pilot who doesn't like being called a girl.
