Hi everyone! Have you ever had that moment where you planned to do one thing then end up getting distracted by something else completely? Well, that is basically what happened with this story idea I want to share with you all. I have had this idea a good while before the Uχ Finale Part 1 came out and every time I wanted to post this, I got distracted by other things and completely forgot... Until today that is!

So here it is, my brand new idea!

NOTE/SPOILER WARNING: It takes place AFTER KHIII, specifically Melody of Memory! Also uses Uχ/DR information, as well as finale ideas. So if you're not caught up, you've been warned.

Title: Kingdom Hearts De:Coded

Type: Story

Summary: A year has passed and there is still no sign of Sora's whereabouts. But through Kairi's memory and Riku's dream, they found a lead. Kairi arrived at The Land Of Departure to receive lessons from Aqua, but Aqua had stumbled onto a brand new mystery, a strange book that may shed some light on what's happening now.

Idea: Aqua finds the Book of Prophesies in a hidden section of Master Eraqus's Old Study. The pages are worn, the text faded and it's nearly illegible. But a clue in those pages may lead to the answer of what is to come.

Main Point: Data-Sora going through the adventures of Daybreak Town before the Keyblade War.

Sub Ideas: Points To Consider, not all may be used.

- Because no one could read the book, Kairi mentions of the actions King Mickey & friends took when they tried to find the lost pages of Sora's first adventure, which leads to a digitalized version of the BoP.

- Data-Sora will be called upon once more, update to his KHIII version. OR Stick to KHI design to keep as a blank slate?

- Possibly adding Kairi to accompany the Data-Sora through the world of Union χ.

- An Aware Data-MoM locks the data of the future, only allowing them to see the portions of Chiχ/Unchained χ/Union χ.

- Data-Strelitzia is the BoP but only a portion since Data-MoM is the true full content of the book.

- Data-Sora is going through a new Journey as the Player would have experienced, but still has the memory of his objective, the memory of Kairi, and is aware of Aqua & Friends presence just like in Re: Coded.

- The part of Donald & Goofy's Gummi Ship crashing into Daybreak Town will be omitted by the Data-MoM due to not waning them aware they were present. Also, cause it will spoil the future especially for those watching on the computer screen.

- Data-Strelitzia's demise will be similar to Data-Riku being infected with bugs. The difference is, even when she is saved, she will not be perceived by the inhabitants of Daybreak Town except Data-Sora and Data-MoM.

- Darkness is also a Data version, but is also somewhat aware, much like Sora's Heartless was toward the end of Re:Coded.

- Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Chip & Dale will not appear here, instead, they leave the digitalizing of the book in the hands of the Radiant Garden Group.

- At this point in the story, Mickey & Friends are on their way to discover the secrets of Scala, but somehow get sucked either into:
- I. IN THE PAST - The Time Travel that occurred due to Sora's changing the past caused a disturbance in the balance of the world borders and allowed a rift to open to the past... okay, I don't have a proper explanation for this one.
- II. INTO THE DATASCAPE - But in this scenario, they are unaware that they are in the Data World Version of the Age Of Fairy Tales.

- (For II.) Donald & Goofy merely think they crashed the Gummi Ship into an actual world, unaware it's Data.

- (For II.) Mickey, Chip, & Dale as well will believe as such, and Mickey is forced to use the Star Shard.

-The Star Shard was entrusted for emergencies OR to be used as a guiding key to the whereabouts of Scala among the galaxies.

- (For II.) Much like what happened in Re:Coded, the cause of the crash is due to the bright light that fills the room and Gummi Ship while on a Gummi Phone Call with the Radiant Garden scholars. But for reasons unknown, only they were affected as the rest of them were still observing the events of the digitalized BoP from the computer room.

- (For II.) They are still unable to see Mickey & Friends portion played out as shown in Union χ

Takes Place After The Events Of Melody Of Memory:

OPTION A:

Terra, Ven, Chirithy, and Aqua were cleaning the Land Of Departure as they hadn't been keeping it up for a long time. Aqua was handling the job of cleaning Master Eraqus' old study. As she cleaned, she found a hidden room. In there was a book as well as several other items displayed. It ranged from paintings of children to old keyblade armor and even to artifacts that were surly precious items of their dearly departed master. The book stood out to her the most because, for some reason, it was the only one not encased in a protective glass. Curiosity got the best of her as she attempted to glean its contents, but to no avail as the book's writing was very faded and hard to read. A single piece of paper fell from the book, its contents reading one line, "...Keep This Book Safe, Your Grandfather..." The sender's name as well as the rest of the message was illegible. Later on, Kairi soon arrives at the Land Of Departure with Terra, Ventus, or Chirithy waiting to greet her. She is escorted to the main hall where she finds a thoughtful Aqua sitting on the throne looking at the book. Aqua realizes only after Kairi tapped her on the shoulder that she was present. It's then they exchange words and eventually talk about the old book Aqua had found. Kairi remembers the tale the King told them while trying to obtain the contents of Jimminy's journal that was erased. She suggests that maybe they could digitize the book to find out its contents. They call King Mickey and he gets everything prepared to have this detour adventure before he leaves on his Journey to investigate Scala ad Caleum. So begins the adventure of De:Coded.

OPTION B:

Aqua was handling Master Eraqus' old study and stumbled upon a strange book she had never seen before. Unfortunately, it was written in the language that Ancient Keyblade wielders once used. But one detail stuck out, it was a keyblade in the shape of Sora's Kingdom Key. When Kairi arrives (same was as in option A) and sees this, she suggested to Aqua that they have this book translated into data much like how they did for Jimminy's Journal when they attempted to retrieve data from his lost writings. So begins the new adventure of De:Coded. Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Chip & Dale happily agreed with the request. But since Mickey was to search for Scala, he entrusts the responsibility to the Radiant Garden Scholars and they would keep watch over the Gummi Phone. Because they had the Data-Sora from Jimminy's Journal, they decided to send him into the newly digitalized Datascape of the indecipherable book. So begins another Journey for Data-Sora to venture into the Datascape.

I have so many ideas. Honestly, it's just a lot of information! I will tackle all these ideas slowly and eventually write proper pieces, whether a one-shot or multi-chapter fanfic, I do want to write each idea from CH1 down.
