Erza dropped the hefty reward she had been carrying onto the table with a victorious smile.
"Come, Lucy. Find what you are looking for within my bag of treasure. This will surely be of aid!"
Lucy spared the bag a glance, raising Erza's hope for Lucy's easily earned delight… then looked away with a sigh. Defeated, Erza dropped into the seat next to Wendy with a dramatic thud.
Levi chuckled awkwardly. "I don't think she's lost anything."
"Lucy-san, is this about your next book?" Wendy asked cautiously, her fingers fidgeting in her lap.
"I really miss him!"
