Petty squabbling ensued, and Natsu had stormed out with a displeased look on his face, leaving Lucy distraught.
This was not how she wanted her night to go! But before he left, he turned around with a furious expression and did the unthinkable: he licked her cheek.
She staggered back, incredulous. Natsu had looked just as shocked as she felt, and he stumbled backwards.
"Uh, yeah! Job! I- I gotta go!"
He raced out the door, nearly swinging the poor thing off its hinges. Happy hovered uncertainly by Lucy before remembering where his loyalties lay.
