She worked her butt off to become stronger, gaining the ability to Star Dress, and even snagged a well-paying job, which would've been impossible for the rowdy Lucy in the past, who'd been influenced by Natsu's- and the guild's- boisterous behaviour.
She wasn't co-dependent in the slightest, but she wanted answers. The stupid excuses, the fight, the way he stormed out… the lick.
