They are about to leave when they learn there are many creatures nearby.
"Who are you guys?" wonders Goku looking at the sky.
"Can't say." says a dog being.
"Are you trying to keep us from going to the tournament?" wonders Goku frowning.
"Can't say." says a dog being.
"Who sent you?" wonders Goku.
"Can't say!" says a dog being.
The dog being is wounded by Frieza, who sees this as a warm greeting.
"Sorry but saying 'Can't say.' a lot gets annoying. Sorry if that bothered you. My hand was bound to slip again. I get to be with the living again and I get to be welcomed back with a lively crowd." says Frieza.

Beerus screams to the heavens, curious how long Goku and Frieza have been.
"They're late! What is that moron doing!?" wonders Beerus.
"Ummmmm, what happens if we are late?" wonders Krillin going up to Whis.
"Hmmmm...I suppose we will be disqualified and the universe will be erased immediately." says Whis reverting his eyes.
"Hu...hurry up and get here Goku. The clock is ticking." says Krillin creeped out .
Fortuneteller babas place...
"Sorry but we can't deal with these guys." says Goku putting his index and middle finger to his forehead.
"Oh?" wonders Frieza.
" We have to get going." says Goku holding out his other hand.
"You expect us to run away?" wonders Frieza.
"There's no time to waste." says Goku.
"In that case, it'll be fine as long as we don't take long. My body has grown soft in hell. I would love to loosen it up first. Join me. It's only for a little warmup." says Frieza.I
Frieza powers up into his golden state.
"Everyone, it appears we don't have much time, so there is no complimentary service but don't hold it against me. You guys did ambush us after all. Please don't hold me accountable for any surprise attacks. Don't need you changing that I'm a cheater." says Frieza.
"Some surprise attack doesn't make you evil." says assassin 1.
"You're from another universe aren't you?" wonders Goku.
"I dunno. I'm under obligation to never tell. But our universe isn't weak like this univniverse." says assassin 1.
"Screw cheats and playing dirty." says assassin 2.
"Says the beings who arrived here without getting invited." says Goku.
"Who invited brings from other universes?" wonders assassin 1.
"We wouldn't mind. We let a very unique boy who currently lives in universe 6 into our universe." says Goku amused.
"Did I attack him at some point?" wonders Frieza.
"He was the kid who kept chanting 'You guys have a Mewtwo!?' if I remember right." says Goku.
" Oh him. Is he your son of not?" wonders Frieza.
"There's no straight answer for a kid like Ash." says Goku.
"HELLO! FOCUS IN US! We're brutes from another universe!" says assassin 2.
"Oh? Sounds like a wonderful universe." says Frieza.
"Right? Say, forget the tournament and play with us." says assassin 2.
"Lets take it nice and slow until the tournament." says assassin 1.
"Looks like we have no choice but to do this. Hey Frieza!" says Goku looking from the assassins to Frieza.
"Yes?" wonders Frieza smirking amused.
"We have a tournament right after this. Are you ok with using your gold form?" says Goku.
"Do you still think the golden Frieza form rapidly drains my stamina? Not to worry. It felt like an eternity being in hell. The only way I got through that torture was by maintaining my composure through mental concentration. As a result, my energy control skills have dramatically improved. Delicacy that wouldn't even stir water together with the ultimate intensity in the true golden Frieza." says Frieza.
Frieza dramatically increases his energy control and reducing the stamina weakness of his Golden Frieza form.
"That is who I am." says Frieza.
Frieza then begins his assault on the assassins, killing a large number of them with his Death Beams.
"Well, how do you like the new and improved me?" wonders Frieza chuckling.
"Stop!" says Goku watching Frieza go on a rampage of sorts.
"Is there a problem?" wonders Frieda looking back at Goku.
"That's enough! You don't have to kill anymore!" says Goku.
"Dieing here by my hand or having their universe erased from losing in the tournament...isn't that the same thing?" wonders Frieza.
"Murder isn't how to go about this!" says Goku.
"But it is. Besides..." says Frieza.
"C..cocky bastards! Get them!" says assassin 1 .
Goku is forced to join in the fight when some assassins try to attack Fortuneteller Baba.
"It's to dangerous out here! Get in the palace you two!" says Goku.
Fortuneteller baba and Ghost Usher to hide in the palace. Goku steps in front of
"Frieza!" says Goku annoyed.
"Don't interrupt me. My body is finally warming up." says Frieza.
"Knock it off already. We need to get to the rest of the team." says Goku.
The leader assassin prepares a ball of Energy of Destruction, which was granted to him by Universe 9 God of Destruction.
~flashback~
universe 9; Kai world...
"No-one ordered you. You are going after Goku and Frieza of your own free will. You're getting the meaning right?" says Roh.
"Of course." says the dog being snickering.
"Good. Then, I grant you some of my energy of destruction. If hit by this energy, no one can escape unscathed. They won't end up in other world and their existence will be destroyed." says Sidra forming a purple energy ball in his hand.
~reality~.
The dog being snickers devilishly then tries to sneak behind Frieza who easily notices him.
"Be sure to aim properly. Besides the obvious difference in power, the reason your friends' eyes weren't completely full of despair is because you have that energy isn't it?" says Frieza.
The dog being stayed quiet.
"Now, whenever you are ready, aim all you want." says Frieza stretching his arms out.
"Dammit!" says the dog being tossing the energy of destruction.
Frieza easily dodges it and destroys it before it hits him.
"You thought that was real!? Think again!" says the dog being.
The dog being fires the "real" energy, but Frieza destroys it before he could throw it.
"That wasn't a bad ploy. Atleast for you." says Frieza.
To Goku and Frieza's surprise, the leader assassin reveals the true energy which was hidden underwater, and Frieza is struggling to defend against it, being engulfed by the energy.
"Frieza!" says Goku shocked.
" Begone from existence Frieza!" says the dog being.
Frieza was only pretending to be hurt by the attack, and to everyone's shock, Frieza manages to compress the energy back into a sphere, also killing the surprised leader assassin. Goku is surprised that Frieza managed to escape the energy.
"W...woah. I can't believe you managed to get out of that." says Goku.
"It's a simple warm-up exercise." says Frieza.
"You weren't able to move but your power has really increased." says Goku going up to Frieza.
"Messing them is fun." says Frieza.
"What is that orb?" wonders Goku.
"Who knows what it is." says Frieza looking at the orb.
"I can feel amazing power." says Goku.
"Yes. Such pure energy must come from a god." says Frieza.
"That means..." says Goku taken aback.
"This was probably plotted by the box of creation of a god of destruction." says Frieza.
"So they came to assassinate you and me, huh Frieza?" wonders Goku crossing his arms.
"Its hard to say which universe wants us out of the tournament." says Frieza looking at Goku.
"I don't know what universe it is but whichever it is must be desperate to survive." says
Goku turned to face the assassins, annoyed that universes would stoop this low to survive the tournament.
"Hey you! Universe 7 will never run and hide! Let's finish this at the tournament! You can tell your gods that, can't you?" says Goku.
Null realm...
Grand priest finally finished constructing the fighting stage for the Tournament of Power.
"Thank you for waiting grand Zeno. The tournament of power fighting stage is complete." says Grand Priest turning to face the Zenos. says
"Hmmmmm..." say the zenos.
"What do you think?" wonders Grand priest.
After rolling around, the zenos stopped and agreed that this was the perfect stage for the tournament.
"We love it!" say the Zenos.
"Thank you very much." says the grand priest.
"Have this." say the zenos.
The two Zenos give him candy, impressed by his work.
"I'm honored." says Grand priest taking the candy.
"I'm looking forward to it." says Zeno.
"I feel the same way." says future Zeno.
Fortune teller babas...
Goku thought the assassins were fearing what he told them until he looked at Frieda seconds before Frieza hit Goku with the Energy of Destruction.
"Security is the greatest enemy." says Frieza.
"Why did you do this Frieza!? Frieza...you..." says Goku.
"I've been thinking about killing you. And yet you turn your back on me. It looks like you're as soft as ever. Anyway, you'd better hurry and escape the energy of destruction. I was able to do it." says Frieza chuckling amused.
Goku tries to do so, but the Energy proves to be too much for him to handle, much to Frieza's entertainment.
"That's shameful. You can't escape. Perhaps I have become too strong. Now then..." says Frieza.
Frieza teleports away, confronting the remaining assassins.
"I would like to converse with the gods of destruction of your universe." says Frieza.
"Wh...what are you?" wonders assassin 3.
After injuring one of the assassins, he grabs a communicator and calls the god of destruction, causing Sidra some panic.
Universe 9...
Kai world...
"Dammit! What is taking them so long?" wonders Sidra.
"We have to be going soon." says Roh pacing back and forth.
"I know." says Sidra looking at the crystal ball.
The crystal ball started glowing alerting Sidra and Roh of an incoming call.
"This must be them!" says Sidra happily.
"You sure?" wonders Roh eagerly.
~ call start~
Frieza appeared on the crystal ball chuckling while grinning devilishly.
"F...Frieza!?" wonder Roh and Sidra startled.
'Greetings, gentlemen of universe 9.' says Frieza.
" You! How did you find us!? " wonders Roh annoyed.
'It's not that hard to figure out. All I had to do was take one of your universe's communicators. This attack was all your idea, wasn't it?' says Frieza.
Roh and Sides went quiet looking at each other then awkwardly looking back at the crystal ball.
"Wh...what makes you say that?" wonders Roh.
'The energy of destruction is concrete proof.' says Frieza looking away.
"That was simply something given for another task that they abused." says Sidra.
' And yet they ended up in this universe.' says Frieza.
"The being I lent that power to knows of you entering the tournament and wanted to dispose of you with a power such as...mine. " says Sidra.
"Grand Zeno won't believe the words of some thugs!" says Roh.
"There's no point in telling on us!" says Sidra.
'Good grief. You seem to be mistaken.' says Frieza.
"What is it you're telling us?" wonders Sidra.
'There's no point in rattling on you Zeno. I just want a bargain. I would like you to pick me as part of your universe 9 team.' says Frieza.
"Huh!? Is that even possible!?" wonders Roh.
'I've captured Son Goku in your energy of destruction. Without Son Goku, the universe 7 team won't be able to go to the tournament. This universe will be erased and Is rather not be collateral.' says Frieza showing Goku.
Roh and Sidra look at each other with worry of what grand Zeno might do.
'What do you say? I believe you already know my strength.' says Frieza smirking.
"We just thought-"
'Don't think to into it. If you pick me and resurrect me, I promise to do well in the tournament of power. Well? It is a good deal, isn't it?' says Frieza.
"Errrr...well, I've never heard of such a thing. " says Sidra.
'Never heard of what? Another another universe being taking part in your team? Ha, then it would be the same for us with Ash torn between which universe to fight alongside.' says Frieza.
"Who?" wonders Roh.
' No one that special. Just a Goku lookalike who thinks I remind him of a monster in his world. ' says Frieza unamused.
"So you say your universe will be wiped out first?" wonders Sidra.
"Even if you are a villain, you must have something to protect. You do right? Like subordinates, sceneries...someone you care for." says Roh.
'I'm sorry. Those trivial things are meaningless to me.' says Frieza.
"Hey, are universes able to construct a warrior team with other universe warriors?" wonders Sidra looking at Roh.
Roh grabbed the Tournament rule book and flipped through it, skimming the words on the pages. It was confirmed that recruiting a warrior from another universe is not against the rules.
"It doesnt look like it's forbidden. " says Roh.
"So it's ok right?" wonders Sidra.
"Wait! We may have the treacherous universe 9 but Frieza is too much for us. He's a psychopath who doesn't care about getting erased. He's more of a god of destruction than you!" says Roh.
"Then he's perfect!" says Sidra.
Frieza went wide eyed overhearing Sidra and Roh bickering.
"Once a traitor, always a traitor!" says Roh.
"I know that! If he betrays us, I will destroy him!" says Sidra.
"Like it'll be that easy." says Roh.
Universe 7...
Beerus and Whis arrive to the scene, and Frieza instantly destroys the communicator.
"What the hell did Goku get himself into?" wonders Beerus looking at the energy of destruction engulfing Goku.
Beerus saves Goku from the energy by blowing it away.
"What a relief." says Goku out of breath.
" You were loafing around for so long, we had to come and get you. " says Beerus.
Beerus recognizes that energy as Energy of Destruction and turns to Frieza for answers.
"Explain this. That was an energy of destruction wasn't it?" says Beerus curiously.
"I got hit by it too but it was,no big deal." says Frieza.
"That's not it. You're not dealing with another universe are you?" says Beerus going behind Frieza.
"Hold on you two. It's my fault for letting my guard down. " says Goku getting between Frieza and Beerus.
"Perhaps, Frieza was obtaining information on another universe. " says Whis.
"Well, who knows..." says Frieza.
"Dammit Goku! Aren't you mad at all!?" says Beerus.
"Well yeah...but it's my fault for forgetting Frieza is the worst type of scum." says Goku.
"I'm not satisfied." says Beerus.
"Now I'm sure of it. This tournament that risks erasure of the universe is the perfect time to manipulate even the gods. I'll have the last laugh. You won't be doing as you please forced Beerus." thinks Frieza.
"Oh right! Whis, can I just have one minute?" wonders Goku looking at Whis.
"You get one minute, nothing more." says Whis.
" Thank you! " says Goku happily.
Goku challenges Frieza to a short match, making whoever lands the first punch the winner.
"Begin the match!" says Whis.
"Frieza, if I win, you have to forget about your grudge and be out All in the tournament of power." says Goku.
"Then, if I win, I get to do as I please." says Frieza.
"The mental concentration I did in hell wasn't something as simple as banishing evil intent and emptying one's mind. I did nothing but focus my mind on endless battle simulations of killing you! I see it. Your movements. My victory! I can imagine it totally and completely!" thinks Frieza.
With the sound of a whistle, the match begins and Goku and Frieza move around each other, creating shockwaves. Goku goes Super Saiyan Blue and the two charge at each other, landing a punch on each other at the same time.
"While you were in hell, I've been fighting strong beings from other universes. You aren't the only one getting stronger. Next time you kill bydtanders, I won't forgive you. Got it?" says Goku.
"I don't intend on taking orders from you. This isn't over between us!" says Frieza. says
"Yeah, I know." says Goku.
Goku and Frieza fall into the water, making a splash at the same time with them both unconscious.
"So he's evenly matched with Goku." says Beerus.
"Frieza isn't bad, is he?" wonders Whis.
