Dark Desires Ch. 4

Sitting curled up on the balcony, Ruby carefully turned the pages of the ancient book in her lap, she spent the last few nights reading through the books, much to the amusement of Deacon. Taking a sip of the wine that Mercury poured for her, her eyes re-reading the last page over and over again. Letting out a sigh. Well, at least this made her time within the vampire community a tad bit safer.

She could see Deacon making his way towards her, with a question in his eye. She'd be lying if she didn't enjoy how he just walked to her with this confidence, it really did leave her breathless.

Smiling as he sat down next to her, turning her body towards him, she could see that he had questions about what she was learning about vampires in general. "Did you know, according to your histories that it's so rare that a bitten vampire finds a mate, that when it happened once before over 3000 years ago that the leading covens created a new house for the mated pair?"

Staring down at her, surprised that she was able to find that information, hell even Pearl who lives for research hasn't found all that yet. "How?" he asked, pleased to know that she was not only beautiful but smart.

Shrugging her shoulders, "I'm technically classified as a speed reader, over 3000 words per minute." Handing him the book, pointing to the page that had the information. Leaning back, letting him read what she found.

Turning her eyes towards the city, she stood and made her way to the railing, while she liked the loft, but between here and the archives, she hasn't seen the city. Leaning on the railing, Ruby couldn't help but enjoy feeling the wind rush past her as she looked down at the world moving around below her.

Deacon held he book as though it wasn't even real. Smiling his claim was now tangible, and Gitano couldn't hold him down any longer, and if he was reading this correctly, it was his House that was created for mated bitten and their future offspring. Laughing at the idea of letting the council know that the high and mighty Gitano Dragonetti was born from the love of a bitten pair.

His eyes found her leaning against the railing, looking at peace there. Putting the book down, he moved quickly, smirking when she jumped slightly as his hand settled on her lower back. Turning her body towards him, smiling as her bright green eyes sparkled as she focused on him.

Leaning into her neck, enjoying smelling her natural scent, carefully nipping her neck, chuckling when she shivered under his ministrations. "Why do you seem so distracted? Are you not happy here?"

Tilting her head back for him, as much as she wanted to fight her attraction for the man, everything she read told her that no matter what, unless he violated her trust or her body in anyway, her body would always reach out to its mate. "Take me out. Your home is beautiful, but I came to New York to see it. Not look down at it."

Using his nose to move up her neck, enjoying how her smell sweetened as her body reacted to him. "Get dressed then." Stepping back, smirking when she whimpered. Taking her hand he shoved her gently towards Raquel, "We're going to go out, get something nice for her." Sitting down on the couch, smiling as Raquel looked like a kid in a candy store.

Before Ruby could ask where he was planning on taking her, she found herself in Raquel's room. "Woah." Blinking rapidly as the room came into focus. "Head rush."

"Sorry." Moving to her closet, she pulled out a nice pair of dark wash jeans, and a matching corset top, while it wasn't anything that Ruby would usually wear, it wasn't so revealing that she wouldn't feel uncomfortable.

Popping back into the room, smirking as she looked lost sitting on the bed. "Let's get you dressed." She said, holding her clothes.

Ruby stared at it, the pants were fine, but the shirt, that was a way out of her wheelhouse, but figured Raquel wouldn't dress her to look like a whore, she stood and grabbed them, not even caring that she was stripping down in front of the woman. As she slipped on the top, she looked to her friend to tighten it, "Please remember, I actually need to breath." She teased.

"Shut up and turn around please." Unable to keep the humor out of her voice. As she carefully pulled the strings to keep the corset up, she realized that Ruby was more than just Deacon's mate, she was her friend. In the short time that she's been here, never once did she ever make any of them feel bad for being what they were, nor did she try to change who they were, hell she was even nice to Quinn, though she figured that was because Ruby was polite by nature.

After another 15 minutes, Ruby was done, turning to see herself in the mirror, smiling at the make-up that Raquel put on, while she gave her a smokey eye, it wasn't overdone, just enhanced her already green eyes. The outfit with the boots while not her normal go to, but it wasn't too revealing so she didn't feel completely out of place by wearing it.

"Thank you." Giving the woman a hug.

Shaking off her emotion, Raquel pushed her out the door, "Have fun. Be safe." Not that she was worried about Deacon, but Blade was still out there, and she was a target now.

Stepping out of the room, she found Deacon leaning against the island drinking some blood from a glass, "This OK?" she asked, doing a little twirl.

Blinking, he was in front of her, almost tempted to throw her over his shoulder and take her to his room, but he promised her a night out. Enjoying that she had her hair pulled up in a high ponytail, loving that her neck was on display for him, "So fucking tempting," wrapping his hand around the back of neck pulling her towards him, "I will taste you soon my goddess."

Ruby stared up into his eyes, her body was tingling with anticipation of that promise or threat, but whatever it was, she wanted it. "No biting, at least not right now." She teased.

Slamming his lips down on hers, taking control of her mouth, enjoying how she always submitted to him, so trusting. Pulling back, smirking as she gripped his collar tighter as he looked down at her. "No biting, at least for now."

Leading her towards the garage, while he wanted to go somewhere that he owned, he knew that she wanted to see the city from a humans' eye, so telling his driver to head towards art district in Brooklyn, knowing that she would enjoy being in the center of all that art.

Several galleries later, Ruby was tired, never in her life had she seen so many different types of artists, some where outstanding, others were just trash literally, but regardless of that it was still amazing meeting so many unique people. "That was amazing. Thank you so much."

Keeping his arm wrapped around her, "I'm glad you had fun. Tomorrow, would you like to go to a show on Broadway?" Remembering that was one of the things that she wrote out of what she was going to do.

Turning her eyes towards him, "Yes please. I don't even care which one, just want to go." Doing her best not to bounce around like an excited child.

Deacon could see her excitement, it's been so long since he's been so excited by anything, but here he was looking forward to showing her the city, the human way.

It's been so long since he courted anyone, the last time was when he was turned, after that; his life was filled with meaningless sex, while it felt great to fuck, after there was nothing. Just the next body to sate his desires.

Touching her cheek, "You're doing things to me Ruby. Please tell me, you're not immune to what's growing between us?" Almost scared that she didn't feel anything for him.

Leaning into his touch, "No, I'm not. You still scare me, but not because of what you are, but what it all means. People search for their forever, and I am standing with it right now." Hoping he understood what she meant by that.

Wanting to kiss him, she carefully wrapped her arm around him, but before her lips could touch his, she heard the sound of a gun chambering. Turning towards the sound, she gasped out, worried for only a moment that Deacon was going to get hurt, but it was just a moment.

Deacon put himself in front of Ruby, his eyes staring down the very dead human that was holding a gun on them. Tense because he didn't want to put her in danger, but hearing her heartbeat, she wasn't scared, she was a little tense, but not fearful.

Ruby knew that Deacon was going to kill this man, a part of her wanted to find another way, but that was the human part of her, while she wouldn't ever be OK with just killing someone because it was Tuesday, she was learning that there were always exceptions to the rules. "Deacon, do what you need to." She whispered to him, knowing that he would hear her.

Smirking, she was definitely his perfect match. His eyes never leaving the man, "Leave now and live, stay and I will rip your fucking throat out." Wanting to spare Ruby the violence a little while longer.

Lifting the gun towards his face, "YOU THINK YOU'RE FUNNY PRETTY BOY? GIVE ME YOUR MONEY AND MAYBE I WON'T FUCK YOUR BITCH!" he yelled out.

Moving faster than she could track, she heard the gun hit the ground, looking up she found the man now being held up by Deacon and his fangs deep in his neck. Blood dripping down his throat, she should have screamed or ran, but instead she just stood there watching him drink from the man.

Naturally touching her neck, wondering if she agreed to be turned would it be as painful as it looked. Her thoughts were put to a stop when she heard the body thud to the ground. Her eyes found his watching her, torn between being terrified of what she had just seen and being turned on that he protected her.

Wiping his face, he moved slowly towards her, almost scared that she was about to run. When he was a breath away from her, he could smell her arousal, grabbing her by her shoulders, he had her pinned to the wall in a matter of seconds, his nose at the pulse points on her neck.

Licking his way up to her lips, wanting to kiss her, but he knew that man's blood was dripping down his chin, but he could see it smearing on her neck, "Ruby." His voice was hoarse from his desire for her.

Threading her hands through his hair, her lips found his, not caring that he was covered in someone else's blood. Groaning as his cock rubbed her through the pants, gasping at the contact. "Deacon." Her voice pleaded, for what she wasn't even sure, but she knew he would figure it out.

Wrapping his hand around her hair, grinding himself into body, "Drink." He all but commanded her. Using his other hand, he sliced a cut near this throat bringing her to the wound. Groaning as he felt her hot mouth over his neck. "FUCK." Pushing himself harder into her, smelling her body was setting his insides on fire.

Ruby never tasted anything like it before, it was almost sweet, but it burnt her throat like a good whiskey would. Her head was swimming, every nerve in her body was tingling, it should have scared her, but hearing him groan in her ear, his cock rubbing her through their clothes, Ruby just wrapped her legs tighter around his hips rolling her hips to match his, wanting to reach the pinnacle of this moment.

Closing her eyes, she could feel her body starting to coil, it was intense, she was almost terrified of how powerful the surge through her body was, her hands holding his neck and hair, but as her body was ready to spring, she moved her mouth wanting to cry out.

Deacon could smell her body, he wasn't far behind her, but as her lips left his neck, he pulled her to his mouth, rolling his hips into her, making sure to swallow her scream, no one would hear her cum, that was only for him.

Gripping her hips a bit tighter, he rolled his hips one last time, smirking as she dug her nails into her shoulders, crying into his mouth, feeling her body shutter pushed him to his edge, and for the first time in a very long life, came inside his pants and not giving a single fuck.

Pulling back, not wanting to bite her until she was begging him, he placed his head on hers, letting smell of their orgasm swirl around them. Enjoying the bliss that he was feeling.

Ruby had no idea how they ended up at the loft, or even in his bathroom, but she found herself looking at herself in the mirror, blood all over her face and neck, turning towards the sound of water rushing, she found him stripping down, realizing that he wanted to wash the blood off his body, she kicked off her boots, unzipping her pants pulling them down with her panties, but as she reached behind her to untie the corset she found it difficult. "Help."

Deacon didn't even bother untying them, just ripped the fucking thing from her body, enjoying watching her pink nipples perk up from the cold air, his body wanted her, but she was in a haze from his blood, gently taking her hand he pulled her into the water, gently washing her long blonde hair.

Tilting her head back, she let him wash her hair, her hands didn't remain idle, grabbing his soap, she slowly washed his chin getting the dried blood off him, slowly moving down his neck, chest, and as she was about to touch him, she felt the cold tiles on her back, hissing at the cold.

Her eyes staring up into his, "Am I not allowed to touch you?" she asked, unsure of why he stopped her.

As the shower poured over them, his eyes never left hers, "You're coming down from my blood, I don't want to take you before you're ready." Hoping that she wouldn't beg him, he couldn't handle that right now.

Smiling up at him, "I never said I was going to let you fuck me tonight." Her voice hinting at what she wanted.

Growling in her ear, "You're going to be the death of me." Taking his hand, slowly moving down her body, chuckling as her body tilted towards him, like it was begging him for more.

Stopping when he was just at her folds, "Beg me, Ruby. Beg me to let you cum on my fingers." Nipping her neck causing her to jump a bit.

Wrapping her left arm around his neck, the other on his abs, "Please, Deacon, I need you to make me cum again." Her eyes never leaving his.

Smirking at her, he gently pushed into her pussy lips, groaning feeling her wet pussy, "So wet for me." Using his thumb to rub her clit, using the other finger to slowly enter her body, hissing out, "So warm, so fucking tight."

Tilting her head back she hit the tile, not caring about how hard she did, her body was already trembling as he rubbed her clit and fucked her with his finger, but as he added a second, she cried out, "Please. Let me touch you." Wanting to bring him pleasure too.

Moving his hand gently down her face, twisting the other inside her body, loving the way she moaned out for him, "That's right. You're going to cum on my fingers." Twisting again, he gently took her hand, bringing it to his aching cock, moaning out as she gripped him tightly.

Leaning back to watch her face, his hands never left hers, moving them how he wanted her to make him cum, pleased that she was so willing to listen, "Just like that my goddess. Don't stop." Letting her hand go, he rocked into hers, pleased that she never changed how she gripped him.

Ruby was lost in her pleasure, but she never stopped massaging him, her hand barley wrapped around his dick, sparing a look down, she could see that he was thick and about 8 inches long, almost terrified what that was going to feel like inside of her, but for now she just wanted to make him happy.

Twisting her wrist, she could feel his body shake, doing it again, she was rewarded by him wrapping his hand around her neck, growling on her lips, enjoying the aggression, it sent her body into a spiral, feeling herself so close to the edge, "Please. So close." Her voice desperate for release.

Slamming his lips on hers, he rubbed her clit, moving faster than a human could ever wish they could, enjoying how her cries echoed in the shower, "Come from my goddess," he grunted, holding out to cum until she fell off the ledge first.

Seeing stars in her eyes, Ruby couldn't keep herself upright, and if wasn't for Deacon holding her up, she would have slipped down onto the tile floor. As her body shook with the force of her orgasm, she was mindful of his, twisting her hand around him again, she could hear him calling her name, and soon she felt the coolness of his cum coating her forearm, wanting to make this as good for him as he had for her, Ruby slowly stroked his cock, until he grabbed her arm, stilling it.

Keeping her pinned to the wall Deacon took several unnecessary deep breaths, his head resting on her, "My goddess."

Gently tugging his hair, Ruby kissed his lips, "My vampire." She breathed out. While she still wasn't 100% sold on becoming one just yet, she was sure that if her feeling for the man kept growing as they were, she wouldn't leave him, and that scared her more than anything else.

Hours south of the city, Dragonetti was overlooking the camp that he and the house of Lemure leader had built with their underlings. "Soon it will be operational?" he asked Claire.

Smiling at him, "Of course, my old friend, once we build enough of a reserve, we can finally purge the bitten community."

Looking down at the humans that were being brought in for decontamination. "Filthy animals." She hissed, but they were her food and they bred like rabbits, so if done right each human could have a child once every other year, those would then be raised to be raised for food, keeping them feed, and drawing their blood every other month.

Tilting his head back, he couldn't help but laugh, "They are no better than farm animals." Letting out a sigh, "I have some of my humans recruiting them from the homeless community, we have close to a hundred, how many more do you think we should take so that our houses can purge?" Licking his lips at the idea of removing 90% of the bitten community, only the most loyal and useful would be spared their culling.

"Probably another hundred, I want to be fully functional and running a stable farm within the year." Her eyes never leaving the humans being washed and cleaned. "I must be heading back to my home; I will call you in a few weeks."

Hissing he grabbed her by the throat, "You will do to remember your place Claire, I am older than you by a thousand years. You are under my command, not the other way around." Smirking as she looked fearful.

Nodding, "I'm sorry, I forgot my place." Gripping his wrist, hoping that he would let her go.

Tossing her to the ground, "Don't let it happen again." Turning towards the familiar's that were in charge of keeping the animals in their cages and compliant. Soon he would have what he needed, and perhaps with some luck he could finally breed his own children.

Turning slightly to Claire as she picked herself off the floor, "Keep your house under control, and I'll handle mine. We don't need the council or the Daywalker finding this place." With that he turned on his heels, knowing that the familiar's he brought in on the project were more than capable of handling it, these were the ones that would more and likely be turned, and some of the humans born would be trained to take their place and watch over the animals during the day.

The ride back to his home was dull, but it gave him time to start running the list of the vampires that he would kill, Frost would be his first during the culling, but perhaps with his mind, he'd be spared as long as he came to heel like a good dog should.

Pulling out his phone, he needed to get the Daywalker hunting more of the newer vampires, he hated how so quickly they just bit anyone. In the last 200 years it was like a disease that was running wild, before you were turned you needed to prove your worth, shaking his head, for all his issues with Frost, he could at least appreciate one thing, he never just turned anyone. For that reason, and a few more, might be enough to spare him.

Hitting send, pleased that he didn't have to hear the phone ring more than twice.

"Sir?"

"It's time to start enticing the Daywalker to the community." Enjoying finally being able to utilize him for his benefit.

"Of course. Is there anything else, sir?"

"No Markus, you've done well, please keep me apprised of his movements as he's working his way through the bitten."

"Yes sir."

Disconnecting the call, he rolled down the window between him and the driver, "Hurry, I want to be home before the sunrises." He snapped.

Swallowing some spit, "My apologies, master." Stepping on the gas, he knew of what his master was planning, and he didn't know who to trust to stop it, but Edward knew that he needed to figure that out and quickly, by the looks at the farm, it was almost ready, and hundreds of people were going to be missing.

Pulling into the garage, pleased that he got Dragonetti home an hour before he thought he would, opening the door, "Master." Cringing as the man touched his shoulder.

"You always please me Edward. I can promise you this, you are not going to be subjected to the farm. You're far more valuable than that."

Keeping his eyes down, and his head tilted, knowing that if his master looked at his face, he'd see his disgust, "Such kind words, I thank you, Master."

Nodding, Gitano headed inside, greeted by his pureblood family, between a few births over the centuries and marriage arrangements, he had the largest collection of Purebloods under his banner.

Taking a glass from a servant walking by, "We are at least a month away before we start production of blood, and a year away from having it full sustainable." Raising his glass, "To our bloodline and those we deem worthy."

The room raised their glasses, repeating back his toast. "TO OUR BLOODLINE AND THOSE WE DEEM WORTHY."

Settling in the for the day, Edward stayed up, walking the grounds, hating how his life turned out, he was only here because his mother and father were familiars, raising him to be like a butler to the vampires, for all their hard work, his parents were never gifted with eternal life, and giving how power-hungry Gitano and his clan were, he didn't have high hopes for himself.

Watching the sunrise over the horizon, Edward smiled, he never wanted to be a vampire, and never understood why his parents did, for some perhaps it was their destiny or desire, but for him, he just wanted to live a good life, and perhaps marry a beautiful woman, have a bunch of kids, and live somewhere sunny.

Leaning back against the door, the only person that would come close to taking down Gitano was Deacon Frost, while he was a bitten, the rumors of his strategic mind made his master weary.

He was currently wondering how he would be able to get to his loft without raising suspicion.

His mind racing, he knew that Gitano had a few dozen familiars around the city, but his reach was limited because of his inability to see past his own greatness. Making a plan, he was going to stay with Gitano one more night, and make his run, if he did this right, perhaps Frost would grant him his freedom. Letting out a yawn, he entered the house through the servant's door, making his way to his little room, his last thought was hoping that he was making the right choice in trusting Deacon Frost.

Whistler watched Blade pace, "What is your problem?" he asked, it's been a while since he seen the man so riled up.

Turning the computer around, "It seems as though the vampires are throwing another rave," standing up, he darted to get his weapons, "This has Frost written all over it."

Nodding, "Don't bring home any strays this time." He said, tossing him another magazine for his gun.

Hissing, "You need to let that go old man, she was valuable, if you didn't lose her, Frost would be dead right now, and these raves would have come to an end."

Standing up, "You can't be that stupid, Frost is just a cog in a much bigger machine, you know that." Choosing to ignore his comment about losing the girl.

Flipping his sword into the sheath on his back, "Perhaps, but vampires like him are the reason there are so many." Jumping on the back of his bike, he roared out of the new garage, hating that they had to use the backup, but it would have been stupid for them to stay once they lost the girl.

Shaking his head as he rolled out of the garage, he got back to work, his mind hoping that instead of this never-ending battle between him and an whole nation of vampires, there could be some peace. As strong and skilled as Blade was, he was one man with a few great weapons, they were an army of thousands, eventually they would start working together to hunt him down, and no matter what he did, he wouldn't survive that encounter.

Blowing out some smoke, he headed towards his room, his eyes landing on the picture of his slaughtered family, gently touching their faces, "I already killed the vampire that killed you, my war is over," letting out a sigh, "I made him what he is, I thought having one of them on my side would equalize the balance between good and evil, but all I did was create an excellent hunter."

Putting down the picture, he took out the oil he used to keep his leg brace from getting stiff, gently cleaning the components, he hoped that there was something good coming for Blade down the line, because his time was coming up, and he was terrified of what would become of him when he was gone.
