"So you finally showed up." says Vegeta.

"Well? How did the last victory you'll ever have taste? You can try but the result will always be the same." wonders Jiren.

"That's not what I think." says Goku.

audience...

"Nine minutes left. You can do it everyone!" says Krillin.

Zenos...

"Universe 7 and Universe 11 made it to the final stage of the tournament." say the Zenos.

"I wonder who will win?" wonders future Zeno.

"I hope its Goku's universe!" says Zeno.

"Me too!" says future Zeno.

Grand Priest...

"That's still uncertain but with so many gone, the bleachers seem rather lonely." says grand priest.

Zenos...

"You're right!" say the Zenos.

Grand priest...

"I have a solution!" says grand priest.

He uses his powers to shrink them down so that the gods and defeated contestants from the two universes are all now sitting side-by-side.

"How's that grand Zeno?" wonders grand priest.

Zenos..

"Nice!" says Zeno.

"Everyone's together now!" says future Zeno.

audience...

"Hmmph." say Beerus and Vermouth unamused.

"Uhh...h...hello." says Shin looking at the universe 11 team.

"My, my. We're so close now." says Whis.

"Well, well, universe 6 angel likes universe 7 the most? You a fan of theirs?" wonders Macarita.

"With universe 6 gone, I thought I'd make myself feel at home with universe 7." says Vados.

grand priest...

"Little time remains in the tournament. Only one universe will survive." says Grand priest.

stage...

Goku and Jiren walked toward each other until they were face to face.

audience..

"It's about to start. The battle against the strongest in all the universes." says Roshi.

stage...

Goku powers up into Super Saiyan Blue and begins trading blows with Jiren, rather to Vegeta's annoyance.

"What a stupid stunt." says Vegeta.

Goku is impressed as ever at Jiren's power.

"Man, you really are strong. My hands are tingling." says Goku.

"Son Goku, why do you seek to get stronger?" wonders Jiren.

"I dunno. I just wanna be stronger, I guess." says Goku.

"I see. You don't know." says Jiren.

"You wanna be stronger too right?" wonders Goku.

"I seek that which lies beyond strength." says Jiren.

"Same here. I wanna become even stronger too." says Goku.

grand priest...

"Son Goku and Jiren...the outcome of their fight will be the key to survival." says grand priest.

Zenos...

"More of their fight!" says Zeno.

"I wanna see more of it!" says future Zeno.

"We wanna see!" say the Zenos.

stage...

"Well then, let's begin round 2!" says Goku.

Vegeta suddenly barges in and starts fighting Jiren himself.

"Jiren, show me your strength!" says Vegeta.

"Hey Vegeta! No fair! I claimed him first! Take out Toppo!" says Goku stunned.

"He's not gonna listen dad." says Gohan.

Dyspo dodges Frieza's Death Beams easily with his speed.

"Hahahaha...you can't hit me! I'm sorry but I'm the fastest in al the universes." says Dyspo chuckling.

"So you are faster than my subordinate Burter? He was quite speedy in universe 7." says Frieza.

"Who?" wonders Dyspo.

"Noone special. You must love running away then." says Frieza turning around.

"I see you're looking to die again." says Dyspo.

Gohan and Android 17 go up against Toppo who slammed his clenched fists onto the floor.

"Toppo is a veteran warrior who dad struggled against before. Be careful not to get caught by his large arms." says Gohan.

"Right. Got it." say android 17.

"Come at me! My fists will make short work of you." says Toppo.

As Vegeta battles Jiren, he knows that he's never seen anyone with such tough, heavy ki before.

"I've never encountered an energy as strong and heavy as this. But I'm gonna be the one to defeat you and obtain the super dragon balls." says Vegeta.

When Jiren knocks Vegeta away, Goku rushes in to fight him, though he is likewise overwhelmed by Jiren's rapid-fire punches. Vegeta seizes the next opportunity to take Goku's place fighting Jiren again, and this time he manages to successfully dodge Jiren's punches and close in to land a punch of his own square on Jiren's chest.

'Vegeta." says Goku.

audience...

"Wha...what!?" wonders Roshi.

"He breached Jiren's energy." says Tien.

"Amazing!" says Krillin.

"Impressive Vegeta. When that high speed rush of fists blew Goku away. he was making sure to observe Jiren's movements." says Piccolo.

"It wouldn't be entertaining otherwise." says Khai.

"Hmmph. Universe 11 is playing it cool." says Beerus.

stage...

Vegeta goes on to attack Jiren again and again, impressing the Omni-Kings.

Zenos...

"Nice!" says future Zeno.

"This is fun!" says future Zeno.

"Vegeta's pushing back." says future Zeno.

"Wow! Wow!" says Zeno.

audience,,,

"What's wrong Jiren!?" wonders Vermouth.

"Is he...winning?" wonders Shin stunned.

:You must be blind universe 7." says Khai.

"Perhaps.." says Whis.

"Perhaps what?" wonders Vados.

"Vegeta may be trying to attain that by fighting Jiren. Ultra instinct." says Whis.

"Huh!?" wonder everyone.

"I see. The way he attempted to dodge earlier..." thinka Beerus.

stage...

"You were stronger and faster when you fought Kakarot!" says Vegeta kicking Jiren.

Jiren suddenly nails him with a Power Impact that sends him flying far off into the distance. Vegeta struggles against the blast and it explodes just as it reaches the edge of the arena, enveloping everything in a cloud of dust.

"How long are you going to run away?" wonders Frieza.

Dyspo tries to trip Frieza up by using his speed to create a series of afterimages, but Frieza doesn't fall for such an old trick. Frieza uses his tail to grab hold of Dyspo, but Dyspo turns the tables by throwing Frieza around by his tail. Gohan and 17 struggle against Toppo, with even Gohan's Kamehameha proving ineffective.

"Is that it?" wonders Toppo.

audience...

"Impressive! How's that universe 7!? Compared to your warriors, our power's on a whole different level." says Vermouth laughing.

"It'll be alright Beerus. They won't let things like this. The previous attack should serve to ignite Vegeta." says Whis.

stage...

When the dust from Jiren's blast clears, Vegeta is still in the arena.

"You ok Vegeta?" wonders Goku.

"All that and he's still not out of breath? Tough bastard." says Vegeta.

"You will never be able to hit me." says Jiren.

"What!?" wonders Vegeta.

"Your fists are arrogant. There isn't a speck of purity in the self righteous way you fight." says Jiren clenching his fist.

"Is that all you have to say? Indeed, I am arrogant. But to me, that's what my pride as a saiyan is! I'll never beat you? Don't make me laugh! I will never throw away who I am! Kakarot can have his ultra instinct! I'll defeat you in my own way!" says Vegeta.

"H...holy cow Vegeta! I can't believe your energy is getting really high!" says Goku watching Vegeta charge a final flash.

audience...

"That increase in power...how..? How can it be higher than it was before? is this the power of a saiyan!?" wonders Vermouth.

'Because Jiren provoked Vegeta's pride, he awakened a power within him." says Piccolo.

Zenos...

"It's really bright." says Zeno.

"Vegeta's getting stronger!" says future Zeno.

stage...

"Jiren! After all you said, you're not going to try and dodge this, are you!?" wonders Vegeta.

"Come." says Jiren.

audience...

"Do it Vegeta!" says Krillin.

"Hit Jiren with it!" says Beerus.

stage...

He lands a direct hit. When the dust clears, Vegeta is thrilled to see Jiren flat on the ground.

"Take that! The strongest in all the universes is the saiyan!" says Vegeta amused.

Jiren suddenly appears right in front of him.

"The force of that wasn't half bad." says Jiren.

Jiren blasts Vegeta at point-blank range forcing him to go down.

"Vegeta!" says Goku stunned.

audience...

"He surpasses his opponents. That is the way of Jiren." says Khai.

Everyone in universe 7 gawked in stunned silence at what Jiren did to Vegeta.

Zenos...

"Vegeta's attack didn't work at all." says future Zeno.

"Jiren's amazing!" says Zeno.

stage...

Goku is lost for words watching Vegeta struggle on the ground.

"Vegeta say something." says Goku rushing over to Vegeta.

"Warrior sleep." says Jiren.

audience...

"What a formidable warrior Jiren is." says Shin.

"Vegeta..." says Krillin.

"Hmmph. He should consider it an honor to be called warrior by me." says Vermouth.

"Jiren has recognized Vegeta as a warrior. He is praising the bravery it took to challenge him with everything it took. But Jiren still has the upper hand is all." says Khai.

Beerus growled in annoyance.

"Arrogant snob!" says Android 18.

Zenos...

Zeno stands up and turns around so his back is to everyone.

"Jiren's so cool!" says future Zeno.

:He's so strong!" says Zeno looking at future Zeno.

stage...

Vegeta yanks his arm away from Goku's grasp.

"I can tell, Jiren. You weren't using your full power yet." says Vegeta.

"It's my turn." says Goku.

"You'll end up like me if you go at him." says Vegeta.

"Jiren!" says Goku.

Goku powers up to fight Jiren once more.

"Son Goku." says Jiren turning around.

"Let's finish this!" says Dyspo.

Dyspo is still throwing Frieza around by the tail, and delivers what he believes to be a finishing blow.

"Hahaha...that's the power of Dyspo from the pride troopers! Had enough?" says Dyspo amused.

"Is this the extent of the whatever troopers' powers?" wonders Frieza dusting himself off.

audience...

"How hardly has any damage!?" wonders Cocotte.

stage...

"How!?" wonders Dyspo stunned.

"How? That's what I'd like to know. How could you think that an attack like that could possibly take me down?" says Frieza.

"You think you are better than me?!" wonders Dyspo angrily.

"You annoy me." says Frieza pointing at Dyspo, firing back.

Gohan and Android 17 continue their tag team fight against Toppo.

"Sorry 17." says Gohan.

"Stop trying to coordinate with me." says android 17.

"I'm used to Piccolo being able to correspond with my attacks, so I mrerly assumed-"

"We can't coordinate if we never fought together. At this rate, we'll lose our two against one advantage." says android 17.

"True as that is, how...?" wonders Gohan.

"We can atleast assign simple rules right?" wonders android 17.

'What do you have planned?" wonders Gohan.

"I'll stop his movements. You target the brief opening and knock both of us off. Can you do it?" says android 17.

"Yeah. I understand." says Gohan.

Once the dust cleared, Toppo noticed Gohan wasn't with android 17.

"Where's the other one?" wonders Toppo.

"I left him behind." says android 17.

Android 17 goes and fights Toppo one-on-one for a while, but before long Toppo grabs him by the arm. Though, this is exactly what 17 wanted as he forms an Android Barrier around them both.

"Do it now Son Gohan!" says android 17.

Gohan fires a Kamehameha at them. The blast pushes the barrier with the two inside towards the edge of the arena, but before they can be ringed out, Toppo punches 17 so hard that he drops the barrier. Gohan breaks off the attack out of concern for 17, allowing Toppo to get away.

"That was close." says Toppo.

audience..

"Just what is Goku doing?" wonders Shin.

"He's testing the distance between himself and Jiren." says Krillin.

"Even the spirit bomb and final flash don't work. Long distance attacks are pointless. He'll have to attack at close range." says Tien.

"But his opponent isn't someone he can casually approach. He'll use whatever methods he can to create a slight opening and target that." says Piccolo.

"The question is how to create that opening." says android 18.

stage...

Goku stands directly in front of Jiren. He starts teleporting around Jiren, but always backs off.

Zenos...

"What do you think Goku is doing?" wonders future Zeno.

"He gets close then runs away." says Zeno.

"Is this a strategy?" wonders future Zeno.

"Is it? Is it?" wonders Zeno.

stage...

Goku has set down a series of landmine-like ki blasts around Jiren, and they go off as soon as Jiren steps on them. However, Jiren jumps up right as the mines explode, appearing in the air above Goku, who fires off a barrage of Destructo Disc Hexa Blades at him. seemingly destroys all of them though, and begins pummeling Goku atop a large piece of rubble sticking out over the edge of the arena. Jiren's fist begins to glow as he revs up for a finishing blow, but the ground beneath him suddenly gives way. It turns out that Goku has used the one remaining Destructo Disc to slice up the piece of rubble they're standing on. He teleports behind Jiren and kicks him down off the edge of the arena.

"How's that!?" wonders Goku.

Audience...

"Good going Goku!" says Krillin.

"Jiren won't lose that easily!" says Khai.

stage...

Jiren uses the small pieces of rubble in the air around him as footholds to jump back up into the goes and rejoins Vegeta.

"Even if that creates an opening, it won't defeat Jiren!" says Vegeta.

"I know." says Goku.

Jiren begins walking straight towards Goku, completely unfazed by the ki landmines he continues to set off. After knocking Goku around for a bit more, Jiren powers up.

audience...

"What fierce energy." says Khai.

"I sense a rise in Jiren. I haven't seen Jiren like this for quite a long time!" says Vermouth happily.

Goku and Jiren begin trading blows once again, but Jiren quickly overwhelms Goku with the same sort of glowing punch he had begun to use earlier before being interrupted. The impact from Jiren's punch blasts through the arena, and although it only grazes Goku's cheek, he reverts from Super Saiyan Blue to his base form.

audience...

"Hmph, he's finally showing a hint of his real power." says Vermouth.

"Wha..what was that attack?" wonders Krillin.

"It's nothing to be shocked by. For Jiren, that's a simple punch." says Khai.

stage...

"I've never been hit by such a strong attack before. You really are amazing. But I'm not about to back down now!" says Goku.

"Hmm?" wonders Jiren.

"Kakarot's right. We're well aware that you're strong. But even so, we still need to defeat you and obtain the super dragon balls." says Vegeta coming toward them.
