The classmates leave the classroom in search of any artists that live in alola, coming across Mina and her Ribombee who had just taken care of the team skull trio.

"Alola!" say everyone.

"Alola, Alola." says Mina.

Kiawe was amazed by the volcano painting that had a backpacker and Magmar on it.

"This painting." chants Kiawe.

"Which painting are your eyes glued too? Oooh.." says Mina looking at the painting Kiawe was gushing over.

"This painting has the soul of Wela in it!" says Kiawe getting fired up.

Ribombee sweatdropped at Kiawe's passion.

"How beautiful." says Lana kneeling down to get a better look at the ocean painting with the fully evolved Poplio.

Poplio agreed to the sight of its fully evolved form looking out to sea.

"The ocean and Primarina too." says Lana.

"Popplio's fully evolved form." says Rotom dex.

"Isn't it beautiful?" wonders Sophocles.

Togedemaru agreed.

"Hold on. Isn't this...? Its a sky full of Minior of all sorts of colors." says Sophocles happily.

"You can tell?" wonders Mina walking toward Sophocles.

"Ehehe." says Sophocles.

"Its an Orangaru." says Mallow taking to the orangaru painting.

"Snow...this must be a scene from Lanakila island." says Lillie holding Snowy close.

"Almost forgot! Rotom don't you have pictures to show her?" wonders Sophocles.

"That's right!" says Rotom dex levitating up to Mina.

Rotom shows Poipole's blackboard painting to Mina.

"Poipole drew this earlier." says Rotom dex.

"It seemed to ignore us completely when drawing on the chalkboard." says Sophocles.

"It was caught up in its drawing." says Lillie frowning.

"Ribombee if you would." says Mina looking at Ribombee.

Ribombee reports Poipole's current happiness.

"It seems like its having alot of fun right now." says Mina smiling.

"What a relief." sighs Sophocles in relief.

"But..." says Mina.

"Not a but." says Lillie.

"I don't need Ribombee to understand how Poipole is feeling." says Mina frowning.

"How did it feel?" wonders Sophocles.

"I'm sad." chants Mina closing her eyes.

"Why is Poipole so sad?" wonders Kiawe.

"Poipole might be carrying some kind of burden." says Mina.

"Heavy burden?" wonders Lana.

"Some kind of mission. I'm not sure what it is though." says Mina.

"Poipole, I don't know why you're sad, or what sort of mission you might have..." says Mallow.

Poipole was confused by how sad everyone suddenly looked.

"But you have all of us. Even Ash if he ever stays put." says Kiawe.

"They're right." says Rotom dex.

Poipole went upside down, spinning away cheerfully.

Night...

Rotom spots Poipole painting a large-scale image on the ceiling.

"What's Poipole drawing this time?" wonders Kukui.

"It's the blinding one! The legendary being from the book in Acerola's library." says Rotom dex showing a picture.

"Weren't the boys with you then?" wonders Kukui.

"How odd...hasn't it been awhile since you visited Acerola? So why now? Why is " it drawing this all of a sudden?" wonders Burnett walking up to Kukui and Rotom.

"It really is odd." says Kukui.

"I don't understand timings but it looks Poipole likes, likes, loves the blinding one." says Rotom dex.

Somewhere in Ultra Space, Necrozma emerges from a shattering mass of black crystals. It is attracted by the arrivals of Lunala and Nebby and flies towards them.

Next morning...

"Did you all sleep great?" wonders Rotom dex turning on to look around at Ash's pokemon.

Torrocat was stretching the moment Pikachu woke up. Lycanroc turned its head to face Rotom dex as the pokedex rambled on.

"It's the start of a new morning." says Rotom dex.

Rotom and the pokemon, aside from Rowlet, notice Poipole looking around for something.

"What are you looking for? Is it Ash or the professors? Ash is taking his sweet time getting back." says Rotom dex.

Rotom was confused until it saw Kukui slowly come into view.

"Alola professor! Just in time to feed the pokemon." says Rotom dex before noticing how sluggish Kukui was.

"Ash not back yet?" wonders Kukui looking half awake.

"There's no telling when he appears." says Rotom dex staring in confusion.

"Something wrong with that?" wonders Kukui facing Rotom and the pokemon.

"Question. What's going on with you? Stay up late doing research?" wonders Rotom dex pointing at Kukui.

"Hmmm...?" wonders Kukui.

"That can't be right. You buttoned your coat!? You never do that." says Rotom dex stunned.

"Huh? Its cold out." says Kukui putting his hands in his coat.

"Are you sick?" wonders Rotom Dex.

"No, just really cold." says Kukui moving his hands to unbutton his coat.

"SINCE WHEN DO YOU WEAR SHIRTS!?" wonders Rotom dex taken aback.

"What am I supposed to tell Ash when he arrives?" wonders Rotom dex.

"Dunno. I feel like I have a dark cloud hovering my brain. Something like that." says Kukui.

"Odd but ok. Is Professor Burnett awake?" wonders Rotom dex.

"Right here..." says Burnett.

"Burnett you ok!? Why are you lazing around!?" wonders Rotom dex taking notice of Burnett.

"Relax...just sleepy." says Burnett.

"Aren't you supposed to be at the ocean?" wonders Rotom dex levitating to Burnett.

"Isn't the tank good enough?" wonders Burnett motioning toward the tank.

"Ash, get here so we can figure out why their usual mindset for the day is lacking." says Rotom dex.

Pokemon school...

"Maaan...I'm stuck here without food." groans Sophocles with his head on his desk.

Sophocles noticed the rest of the students coming in the room in a foul mood.

"Listen to this." says Mallow annoyed.

"Listen to what?" wonders Trunks landing on the balcony next to Goten and Hazzel.

"Huh?" wonder the classmates.

"Please tell us Ash is here." says Lillie.

"He's back in this universe." says Goten.

"He's focused on his new saiyan buddies. You'll meet them soon." says Trunks frowning.

"Super." says Mallow bitterly.

"What did we miss out on?" wonders Hazzel.

"So much yet so little." says Sophocles.

"Heh?" wonder Trunks and Goten.

"Grrrr...dad didn't do any of the usual morning chores today, saying he didn't feel like it." says Mallow.

"That's weird. Mom overslept and she never does that. I missed out on breakfast." says Sophocles walking up to the others.

"Really?" wonders Goten.

"My parents too. I had to work like crazy to get the chores done before I got late on deliveries." says Kiawe sitting down

."Same. Dad didn't go fishing. He was just lazing about at home." says Lana sitting down.

"Hobbes was acting somewhat oddly too." says Lillie.

"What would cause all the adults to slack off? Everyone's families at the same time?" wonders Hazzel.

Everyone turned their heads to see Kukui drag his feet into the room with Rotom following behind.

"Kukui looks out of it too." says Trunks.

"Does that mean...?" wonders Goten.

"Sup. Looks like Trunks, Goten and Hazzel showed up. Atleast that's a plus." says Kukui dragging himself to the front of the room.

Once, everyone was in their seats, the start of the day was gonna feel weirder than normal.

"Professor Kukui, it's 'Alola.' not 'Sup.'." says Mallow.

"Oh, right." says Kukui.

"Did something happen to you?" wonders Lillie.

"No, nothing." says Kukui staring at the class.

"You look like you don't wanna teach today." says Goten.

"Thank you Beerus for having universe 7 parents." says Trunks.

Hazzel glanced at the boys before putting her attention back on Kukui.

"So only adults?" wonders Hazzel.

"No idea what you're talking about. Uhhh...hmmm...I was gonna hold a class on the Manalo festival...which will be held during the solar eclipse in two days." says Kukui reverting his eyes unamused.

"Professor?" wonders Sophocles.

Kukui was trying to keep himself from nodding off.

"Since Ash doesn't care to be with us...talk amongst yourselves for the day." says Kukui walking away.

"Huh!?" wonder the students.

"Keep up the work or whatever." says Kukui walking away.

Kukui heads to the Principal's office, where Samson Oak is also tiredly snoozing at his desk much to the concern of his Vulpix and snoozes away on the couch.

Back at the classroom...

"Guess I'll be the one to teach today." says Kiawe standing up.

Kiawe walked to the front of the room and smacked the chalkboard to get everyone's attention.

"I will be the one to tell you about the Manalo festival." says Kiawe.

"A kid teaching? This is new." thinks Hazzel.

"Is the festival on your island?" wonders Goten.

"Let him speak." says Sophocles.

"Ok. Once every 21 years, there's a solar eclipse in Alola." says Kiawe.

The rest of the students nod.

"The island Topus of alola go to their island's ruins on that day and offer a prayer of gratitude to the legendary Pokemon described in Alola's creation myth!" says Kiawe.

"That's that Manalo festival, which has been a tradition in Alola since the region formed." says Mallow looking at the trio.

"That doesn't explain where it's held. What is Manalo anyway?" wonders Trunks.

"Its from the old language, meaning 'You and I live together.'." says Kiawe.

"Really? Sounds nice." says Goten.

"I like it too." says Lana.

"Alola and Manalo are quite the same." says Lillie.

"Alola means to share." says Kiawe.

"Put them together and you get 'We share and live together.'." says Lana.

"I have a question." says Lillie, "Could you tell us about the legendary Pokemon described in the creation myth?"

"You're talking about the blinding one!" says Kiawe.

"Blinding one? I feel like we heard of it somewhere." says Trunks.

"The library where we saw Aecerola." says Goten.

"She showed us a book with the mysterious pokemon." says Trunks.

"Acerola showed us a picture of it." says Goten.

"Here's the proof." says Rotom dex showing the picture.

"This is the blinding one?" wonders Lana.

Everyone in the room walked up to Rotom in shock, never realizing it followed Kukui inside.

"Solgaleo and Lunala are there too." says Lana getting a closer look.

"Poipole drew a picture of the blinding one not to long ago." says Rotom dex switching the image.

"Why did it do that?" wonders Mallow.

Poipole stopped playing with Pikachu and Togedemaru to go up to the image the class was crowding around.

"The professors were curious about that too. Now they don't seem to care if I ask them more about the subject or not." says Rotom dex.

"I've heard about the blinding one too." says Lillie.

"When?" wonders Trunks.

"What do you know?" wonders Goten.

"Back when mother was still young, Grandfather would tell mother about the blinding one to help her sleep." says Lillie.

"This was before your mom went crazy? Or was she secretive then too?" says Trunks.

"Did we find out about Lillie's past?" wonders Goten.

"To many things going on at once." says Hazzel.

The boys nodded in agreement.

"Mother told the legend to me and my brother when it came to be our bedtime." says Lillie ignoring Trunks.

"Hey, could you tell it to us too?" wonders Mallow.

"The legend of the blinding one." says Lana.

"Very well. Where to start? The blinding one appeared on earth, and filled the world with its overflowing light. The light was filled with a mysterious power, and from it, our alolan region was born." says Lillie, "However, after the blinding one depleted all its light, it turned black and entered a long deep slumber. Then the emissaries of the sun and moon appeared and shared their light with it."

"Yet the whole world needs the sun and moon." says Trunks.

"Shhh, story time." says Hazzel.

"Just saying." says Trunks.

"Awakened from its slumber, the blinding one showed itself once more and flew off to the ends of the sky." says Lillie.

"First time I've heard the story." says Kiawe.

"Tell us who the emissaries of the sun and moon are." says Goten curiously.

"I think we have an idea who the sun Pokemon is." says Trunks.

"Most likely Solgaleo and Lunala. They were in the picture after all." says Mallow.

"Fiery Lion, sun pokemon. Vampire Bat, moon pokemon. You would need a blazing day pokemon and a spooky night pokemon." says Trunks.

"What about the ends of the sky?" wonders Sophocles.

"Its the other side of the ultra hole." says Lana.

"Does that mean the blinding one still lives on the other side of the ultra hole?" wonders Kiawe.

"That is absolutely possible if the story is indeed true." says Lillie.

"The blinding one, huh..." says Goten.

Poipole looks up at the sky to see dark clouds. Then, Komala rings the bell to announce lunchtime.

"Do you have lunch?" wonders Lillie.

"Mom was still asleep when I left. My life is over." huffs Sophocles.

The class and their Pokémon share their food with Sophocles and Togademaru.

"We don't have meals either." says Goten.

"Not to be rude, we have enough for one person and it wouldn't be fair if you ate it on him." says Kiawe sweat dropping.

"This doesn't feel like Alola, Manalo if we only give Sophocles some." says Lana.

"Its only fair you focus on Sophocles since we arrived without a meal in hand." says Goten waving it off.

"We share and live together." says Kiawe.

"What can we give Trunks, Goten and Hazzel?" wonders Lillie.

Team Rocket...

"The idea of a solar eclipse in Alola is exciting." says Meowth.

"Eclipse? Big deal..." says Jessie waving it off.

"What's gotten you in a meh mood?" wonders Meowth.

"Its just the sun getting covered by the moon for a few seconds. Woopdie doo." says Jessie.

"It may have caused a huge commotion in the past...but to us its a mere natural phenomenon." says James setting his head on the desk.

"Is this due to rarely having costumers?" wonders Meowth confused.

Wobuffet agrees. Meowth turns his head expecting excited alolans, only to spot a bored sleepy nurse Joy and officer Jenny.

'We missed school!? That can't be right.'

"Is it an off day? No-one seems lively." says Cabba touching down with his Alola attire.

"Can't be. Kukui is always getting the class to do things. They can't be that depressed toward my lack of being around." says Ash touching down.

"Cabba was given pajamas as an attire. That's funny." says Caulifla with her attire.

"Its whatever's available." says Kale with her attire.

"The twerp is with more flying people?" wonders Meowth tilting his head.

"This a bad time to get a snack?" wonders Ash looking at Meowth.

"Good question." says Meowth awkwardly smiling.

Mallow and Tsareena return home to find the place empty. What would normally be an open or closed sign was a gone out sign.

"Dad's not here?" wonders Mallow.

Mallow's dad along with other adults were drinking at Orangaru's place despite how tired they were.

Beach...

"Kiawe, wanna use z moves?" wonders Ash landing alongside the saiyan trio.

"Ash? Now you appear!?" wonders Kiawe annoyed.

"Yeah, I was to focused on readying my new saiyan friends for school and didn't notice if Trunks, Goten and Hazzel were by our side." says Ash.

"We weren't paying attention either." says Caulifla annoyed.

"Eager to show off your Saiyan powers through Z moves? You're on." says Kiawe.

"Awesome! Pikachu's z move vs Marowak's." says Ash.

Soon, Ash and Kiawe try to practice their Z-Moves with Pikachu and Marowak in position while the trio, alongside Trunks, Goten and Hazzel, stood next to the rest of the Pokemon to watch.

"Are you ready!?" wonders Ash.

"Bring it!" says Kiawe.

"Let's go Pikachu!" says Ash getting into position.

"We're gonna counter them Marowak." says Kiawe doing the movements.

"Sparking Gigavolt!" says Ash gaining blonde hair and blue eyes.

"Dynamic Full Flame!" says Kiawe.

Just as the boys thought the attacks would collide, they vanish on contact reverting Ash's hair and eye color to normal.

"Is that supposed to happen?" wonders Cabba.

"No." say Kiawe and Ash.

"That wasn't very powerful." says Kiawe.

"I'd be laughing my ass off at how dumb this is, but Ash gaining a new way of forms is-its a strange kind of awesome if the move was pulled off. We've never heard nor seen any alternative to ki aura." says Caulifla trying not to snicker.

"Neither Pikachu nor Marowak stored up enough z power." says Rotom dex levitating up to Ash and Kiawe.

Rotom turned around to face the newcomers; 2 who kept a silent confused expression and 1 trying to keep from laughing.

"This isn't the normal outcome! Even in Ash's case! The new style of Pokemon moves is called Z moves which gives humans a likeness to what you would call ki aura. What they were attempting was the energy used to launch z moves with the watchlike device called a z ring." says Rotom dex.

"So this region makes humans copy aura of those like at the tournament." says Caulifla frowning.

"Well, yes. I MEAN NO! It's just a by chance type of thing." says Rotom dex.

"Ok copycats." says Caulifla shrugging her shoulders.

"We were fused with universe 7 and adapted!" says Rotom Dex.

"That makes so much sense." says Caulifla.

"Doesn't it?" wonders Rotom dex.

"No, floating device!" says Caulifla.

"Could the weather be involved? Was it supposed to be cloudy or rainy all day?" wonders Ash.

"I'm not fluent in weather patterns. Can weather affect us?" says Kiawe.

Ash turned his head to see Poipole frantically drawing a symbol on the ground.

"What's up Poipole? What's this drawing?" wonders Ash.

The rest of the group peer around Poipole to see a peculiar diamond shape with a star in the middle.

"Gotta record it!" says Rotom dex taking a picture.

Aether paradise...

Burnet is investigating the diminishing of Ultra Aura across Alola.

"All the ultra aura readings that have been recorded across Alola so far...are rapidly diminishing." says Burnet with her eyes closed.

"What could cause such a thing?" wonders Faba.

"I'm investigating right now..." says Burnet.

"Faba...?" wonders Wicke sleepily eating cookies.

"Yeess?" wonders Faba not caring.

"You may only speak after I, your superior, have done so." says Wicke staring at Faba who didn't bother to turn his head.

"S..Sorry chief." says Faba sweat dropping.

"Huh? I didn't mean to phrase it like that." says Wicke startling herself before huffing, "I've been in such a downer mood, its making me say things more harshly than normal..."

"Its not just you...I feel the same way too." says Burnet yawning as she clicked away.

Lusamine enters the room, with her hair all messed up, hardly feeling up to look at everyone in the room.

"Could that be due to the ultra aura diminishing, too?" wonders Lusamine.

"I can't say for sure yet. There might be a connection...analysis complete..." says Burnet as Lusamine walked by.

"Hmmm...?" wonders Lusamine turning her head in hopes of waking her tired eyes.

"It looks like a tiny ultra hole has opened...and the ultra aura is being sucked into it..." says Burnet putting the results on the screen.

"Sucked in?" wonders Lusamine.

"Up until now, whenever an ultra beast appears, the ultra aura spikes..but this is the complete opposite." says Wicke.

"The only explanation I can think of is that there's a beast...a beast that absorbs ultra energy." says Burnet.

"Looks like we'll have to investigate this!" says Lusamine awakening from shock.

"What a pain..." groan Lusamine, Wicke and Burnet.

"Yeah..." says Faba.
