I need to put my mindset into an 'Enjoy what you write before you regret it' mood. Sadly, I don't like to get to happy because happiness could slip away at any moment. What I write from this sequence forth is for readers who enjoy this. Otherwise, this site feels like a waste of feeling like I can be myself in the long run of things.
Lusamine enters the room, with her hair all messed up, hardly feeling up to look at everyone in the room.
"Could that be due to the ultra aura diminishing, too?" wonders Lusamine.
"I can't say for sure yet. There might be a connection...analysis complete..." says Burnet as Lusamine walked by.
"Hmmm...?" wonders Lusamine turning her head in hopes of waking her tired eyes.
"It looks like a tiny ultra hole has opened...and the ultra aura is being sucked into it..." says Burnet putting the results on the screen.
"Sucked in?" wonders Lusamine.
"Up until now, whenever an ultra beast appears, the ultra aura spikes..but this is the complete opposite." says Wicke.
"The only explanation I can think of is that there's a beast...a beast that absorbs ultra energy." says Burnet.
"Looks like we'll have to investigate this!" says Lusamine awakening from shock.
"What a pain..." groan Lusamine, Wicke and Burnet.
"Yeah..." says Faba.
A Team Rocket helicopter flies towards Alola.
Team Rocket helicopter...
'How is the situation?' wonders Giovanni appearing on a holoscreen.
"Well, Giovanni, sir...it seems like an ultra hole has indeed opened, though it is a small one." says Matori positioning the holo screen in front of her, "Which means there's a chance our target will appear."
'I see. So, there is a chance those might be that 'Blinding One' I've heard about.' says Giovanni.
"I don't know. Figuring that out would be my mission, would it not?" wonders Matori.
'Hehehe...I expect great things from you.' says Giovanni.
"Yes sir." says Matori.
The transmission ends.
"Gozu, How far are we from the alolan region?" wonders Matori looking at the eyepatched recruit.
"We'll be there momentarily." says Gozu looking at Matori.
"Do it." says Matori facing ahead of her.
"Optical camouflage!" says Gozu.
The pilots activate the helicopter's optical camouflage to make it invisible as they approach Alola.
Gladion...
"What's wrong Silvally?! Calm down! Come on, calm down!" says Gladion grabbing Silvally.
Silvally wouldn't stop moving, trying to get away from Gladion's touch.
"You're frightened?" wonders Gladion.
Gladion looks up at the sky to see dark gray clouds despite it never raining.
"Don't tell me..." says Gladion freaked out.
Inside the Ultra Wormhole, Solgaleo and Lunala are rushing through as Necrozma follows after them. Solgaleo turns and attempts to confront Necrozma, but the latter fires Prismatic Laser, knocking Solgaleo out. Lunala sees this and continues to flee, with Necrozma in hot pursuit.
Next day...
Pokemon school...
"Another blah filled day with the dark gray clouds and no rain. Its not clearing up." says Ash looking out the window.
"If anything, its getting darker." says Kiawe.
"Where there are dark clouds, there's pouring rain with a chance of thunder and lightning." says Lillie walking toward the window.
"Mother Nature is so confusing." huffs Trunks.
"I want it to be sunny again with happy faces." says Goten.
Komala rings the Ultra Guardians bell alerting the classmates of an ultra beast.
"The hell is going on?" wonders Caulifla.
"That's the ultra guardian dispatch call!" says Mallow.
"So Ash has his own gang of heroes?" wonders Kale.
"We are technically. I'm not one to talk about heroes of Alola." says Ash.
"This is usually where the professor..." says Sophocles.
"Then I'll do it." says Ash.
"You? You're hardly around for-"
Ash proceeds to tap the huge button much to the saiyan trio's shocked confusion of how a school has such a thing until everyone arrives at the base with the ultra guardians in their attire colors.
"The fuck are those outfits?" wonders Caulifla.
The saiyan trio couldn't stop gawking at Mallow adorned in green, Lana adorned in ocean blue, Lillie adorned in pink, Ash adorned in dark blue, Sophocles adorned in orange and Kiawe adorned in red. They glanced at Trunks, Goten and Hazzel curiously.
"Its a touchy subject. I'd say we are but there's not many attire colors and flyers to get for the heroism life." says Goten reverting his eyes.
"Color shades are hard to come by." says Trunks.
"Uhhhh huh." says Caulifla skeptically.
"Well, whatever. Its more them than us." says Trunks.
"What colors are you three?" wonders Cabba.
"I think mine is sea green. Goten got tangerine orange and Hazzel got lilac purple. Like Lana and Ash, I have a shade of green like Mallow and Goten has a shade of orange like Sophocles." says Trunks.
"Latched to us like the others for them. Hard to say if Ash and ourselves are qualified ultra guardians. Mostly ourselves." sighs Trunks.
"They look similar to my short sleeved saiyan suit but not quite." says Cabba raising a eyebrow pondering.
"Why sea green? You look like a dark green or forest green type." says Caulifla.
"My and Goten's colors are due to our gi colors. Hazzel got the last of the rainbow colors." says Trunks.
"A rainbow colored array of my jumpsuit sounds eerie for timings. Does that mean I'm copying them or they're the copycats. It's all mere coincidence, right?" says Cabba rubbing the back of his head.
"Red, Orange, yellow, green, blue, purple are the rainbow colors in question. Don't dig to deep in thought over why the colors and attire style are the way they are." says Trunks crossing his arms.
"Then why pink?" wonders Kale.
"Pink is a lighter shade of red making it so Kiawe and Lillie have the same color sort of speak." says Hazzel.
"Huh?" say the others.
Hazzel and the saiyans focused their sights on the squad before noticing the holo screen showing Lusamine dragging herself to her seat.
"A...Alola ultra guardians. Are you ready to take on the ultra beast..?" says Lusamine.
"Uhh...yes?" wonders Ash raising an eyebrow.
"Ash? You're back? Just in time like always." says Lusamine.
"Mo...mother! You should make yourself presentable before calling for a sighting." says Lillie embarrassed.
"I guess...that's such a pain though." says Lusamine.
"Mother!" says Lusamine annoyed.
"Everyone head to the altar of the Sunne on Poni island, on the double." says Lusamine not paying attention to the extra faces.
"Has another ultra beast appeared?" wonders Mallow.
"I'll tell you the details when you're there..." says Lusamine.
"Ok!" says Ash.
"Ok...see you there." says Lusamine.
The classmates fall backwards from shock of there being no send off.
"Something wrong?" wonders Lusamine.
"Where's the cool line!?" wonders Rotom dex levitating up to the holo screen.
"I've always wanted to say it!" says Ash excitedly.
"Kiawe deserves that part since he's been filling in for you!" say the others.
"Guys...guys..." says Lusamine.
"Ultra guardians move out!" says Rotom dex looking at everyone.
"Ult-roger!" say everyone except the saiyan trio.
"What are we watching?" wonders Caulifla unamused.
"We're gonna have to start ruling with it." says Cabba.
"This is about time everyone gets on their assigned ride pokemon." says Trunks.
The saiyan trio watch as Mallow sat in her seat on Flygon, Lillie and Snowy sat in her seat on Altaria, Lana and poplio sat in her seat on Dragonair, Hazzel awkwardly sat in her seat on Noivern, Sophocles sat in his seat on Metang, Kiawe and Marowak sat in his seat on Charizard, Ash and Pikachu sat in his seat on Garchomp, Trunks sat in his seat on Braviary and Goten sat in his seat on Pidgeot.
"Three of you can fly like us." says Caulifla.
Everyone glanced at each other before taking off to the final island.
"Lets follow them." says Cabba.
"Not even an answer." says Caulifla.
The trio take off after the ultra guardians to figure out what's going on in Alola.
Altar of the Sunne...
"Professor Burnet!" says Ash waving to Burnet.
"Ash! Alola...you brought friends..?" says Burnet.
"They aren't exactly friends. We came to know each other through the tournament Goku decided on." says Ash.
"What a way to start the conversation." mutters Caulifla.
"Acquaintances... friends..we need all the help we can get..." says Lusamine.
"Y-yeah..." says Ash.
"Thanks for coming!" says Burnet waving.
"The tenth member should be here any...minute.." says Lusamine.
"Tenth? What color was he or she stuck with?" wonder Cabba and Caulifla.
As suddenly as the question was asked, Gladion appeared clad in a black variation glaring at the group.
"Ash!" says Gladion noticing Ash with the others.
"Gladion!" says Ash happily.
"Hey big brother! Why are you accompanying us?" wonders Lillie.
"First, Silvally is frightened for what's to come. Second, I don't see the purple cladded girl going in to save the day." says Gladion.
"Why is your ride Pokemon the same as Hazzel's?" wonders Ash.
"This is my Noivern not a random one mom picked. Are you suggesting I take hers instead?" says Gladion.
"Ultra guardians don't give away their ride pokemon." says Kiawe.
"How did you gain a Noivern for your team? Are Noivern part of Alola? I have to question my noivern now." says Hazzel curiously.
"Who knows how this region works when it comes to Pokemon appearances for catching?" wonders Trunks unamused.
"Look, if the ultra beast is the cause, then its safer to have her stay here in case the ultra beast appears on our end. This one could be the most dangerous one yet." says Gladion walking up to the group.
"Really?" wonders Ash.
Poipole happily shows itself to Gladion, who couldn't believe the sight of the ultra beast.
"Don't tell me...that's an ultra beast too!?" says Gladion.
"Yeah. Isn't it a cutie? It's called Poipole." says Ash happily.
"What ultra beast is cute? All ultra beasts are monsters. So, is the girl staying put or not?" says Gladion sweat dropping.
"Gladion, all ultra guardians stick together in case one needs hel-"
"No time for fighting over who all leaves. Burnet, tell them what you told us." says Lusamine.
"Sure...the ultra aura readings in Alola have been steadily dropping since yesterday." says Burnet looking over the data.
"Maybe that's why...our motivation has been rapidly dropping." says Wicke.
"Is that what happened to dad and professor Kukui too?" wonder Mallow and Lana.
"For some strange reason, it doesn't seem to be affecting children or pokemon." says Lusamine.
"She's right." says Lana looking at Mallow.
"After careful investigation, we figured out that the ultra aura decrease...was caused by a tiny ultra hole that opened near here." says Burnet.
"Getting sucked into it?" wonders Gladion.
"An ultra beast capable of doing that could be on the other side of the hole." says Burnet.
"Is there any chance of that ultra beast appearing here?" wonders Gladion.
"It's possible, if the ultra hole gets larger." says Lusamine.
"That being the case, we want to confirm the exact location of the ultra hole, but..." says Burnet.
"Faba..." says Wicke looking at Faba who was leaving the group, "FABA!"
Faba startled, slowly turned his head to face the others.
"Oh, yes...ummmm..." says Faba focusing more on his game console, "The clouds covering the sky make it hard to see the ultra hole. This is where my cloud dispersing machine I invented comes into play."
The ultra guardians, Gladion and the saiyan trio go up to the device unsure if his inventions were worth it.
"Your mission this time is to use your z moves to activate this machine and clear away the clouds." says Faba patting the machine.
"About that...we couldn't properly use z moves yesterday." says Ash.
"We couldn't store up enough z power." says Kiawe.
"Figures...our latest research has shown that z power is closely linked to ultra aura." says Burnet.
"I see. So it didn't work because the ultra aura has dropped." says Kiawe.
"Even if you've got less z power to pull from, if you're four z moves work together, the machine will activate...I think." says Faba.
"That ones who can use z power are Kiawe, Gladion, Lana and myself." says Ash.
"Let's go Pikachu! Sparking Gigavolt!" says Ash gaining blonde hair and blue eyes as the aura forms around him.
"Dynamic Full Flame!" says Kiawe gaining an aura around him.
"Super Aqua Tornado!" says Lana gaining an aura.
"World's End Fall!" says Gladion gaining an aura.
Ash, Kiawe, Lana, and Gladion have their Pokémon use their respective Z-Moves to build up Z-Power and fire it at the machine. The machine powers up and successfully blows the clouds away.
Evening...
"The plan worked!" says Kiawe as Ash returned to normal.
"Its all thanks to you." says Wicke.
"So there are alternatives to using ki. Still weird to fathom ki timings and weird assortment of rainbow Cabba styled jumpsuits." says Caulifla.
Cabba and Kale nodded in agreement before the thought fully sunk in.
"Monster trainers can't have my attire choice without a reason. I'd rather not ask because that's none of my business." says Cabba turning his head.
"Alright, time to locate the ultra hole." says Burnet.
"While she's doing that, there's something I want you all to see. Not to long ago, a new ruin was discovered deep inside the altar of the sunne." says Lusamine.
"Heh?" wonder the students.
"I'll lead you there." says Lusamine.
As Burnet gets to work, Lusamine escorts the Ultra Guardians to a recently discovered ruin. Inside the Altar of the Sunne, a mural depicting the Blinding One, Lunala, Solgaleo, several Trainers and their Pokémon using Z-Moves, and the Prism Star symbol resembling the drawing Poipole made.
"That's the blinding one." says Ash stunned.
Pikachu looked happy to see the ruin drawing before noticing Poipole zoom up to the wall ruin as everyone watched it stare at the face then the peculiar star symbol.
"It's the symbol Poipole drew yesterday!" says Rotom dex showing the drawing on its screen.
"Its true." says Ash.
"There's a lot of letters too! Who of us can read the inscriptions?" says Sophocles.
"Depends on who here can read Ancient alphabet." says Rotom dex.
"Do you remember the legend of the ancient one?" wonders Lusamine.
"Yeah." says Gladion.
"Of course." says Lillie.
"If we could decipher this text, we might be able to solve the mystery behind the legend." says Lusamine.
The Ultra Guardians' bracelets call for them to return.
'Everyone, come back to the surface.'
Night...
Outside on the surface...
"Did something happen!?" wonders Ash.
Faba flinched turning his head to see the ultra guardians, Lusamine and the saiyan trio come into view.
"We located the ultra hole but...the hole...it keeps getting bigger." says Burnett.
"Its in that direction." says Burnet pointing at the moon.
"The ultra hole!?" wonders Lusamine wide eyed.
"Sylvally, I need your assistance!" says Gladion sending out Sylvally.
Lunala appears, much to everyone's surprise and amazement.
"Giant bat coming our way!" says Cabba freaked out.
"Lunala!" says Ash.
"We get to meet another legendary pokemon." says Lana happily.
"You people worship monsters!? That's freaky." says Cabba.
"Ash, how many giant legendary monsters are there?" wonders Caulifla intrigued.
"I never kept count. There's quite a few per region." says Ash looking at the trio.
"How many does this make as of this region?" wonders Caulifla.
"To many to keep track of. We need to focus on the sky." says Ash looking back at the moon.
"I dunno about you guys but my feelings are roaring as fiercely as a Dynamic Full Flame again!" says Kiawe tearing up.
"We understand all to well." huffs Sophocles, "Still is a once in a lifetime occasion to meet Lunala after seeing Solgaleo at our side." smiling excitedly.
"Awesome!" says Ash.
"This is the best!" says Rotom dex taking pictures.
Sylvally begins acting up again out of fear, confusing the others who look at Lunala with doubtful curiosity.
"Gladion?" wonders Lillie worriedly.
"Calm down. There's more trainers to help ease your fears." says Gladion to Sylvally putting his arms around Sylvally.
"Gladion, is Lunala doing this to Alola? Is Lunala sucking in the ultra aura?" wonders Lillie.
"No...something is following it while its escaping to our world. There's another one coming to Alola!" says Gladion freaking out.
"Huh? Another one?" wonders Ash.
"Another more furious ultra beast that's forcing Lunala to flee." says Gladion.
To everyone's surprise, dark energy crackles as Necrozma also emerges from the Ultra Wormhole.
"Hey purple floating monster, is that what you claim as a angry parent?" wonders Cabba gulping.
Poipole began calling to Necrozma while everyone stared speechlessly watching Necrozma chase Lunala in the sky.
"Is that an ultra beast?" wonders Ash.
"Is the thing your purple monster buddy's parent or not? says Caulifla.
"It must be if it came out of the ultra hole..." says Burnet to Ash.
"If Poipole is trying to get its attention, that ultra beast is parentlike. We don't know Poipole's evolution to know for sure." says Trunks.
"The one absorbing ultra aura from across Alola...was that ultra beast. It's still sucking ultra aura from Lunala." says Burnet looking at the screen.
"Melemele island is in that direction!" says Kiawe.
"You must protect Lunala. Ultra guardians, move out!" says Lusamine.
"Ult-roger!" say the ultra guardians.
"WE ARE NOT HELP BLONDIE!" yells Caulifla.
"If you're able to use your move sets to your advantage, use them alongside these trainers." says Lusamine.
"Can't say much for options." says Cabba.
"Vegeta would slam your scrawny ass into the ground." says Caulifla.
"No, no, thinking over our techniques and how well they'd do against that thing." says Cabba.
"We aren't the universe 7 team...and my super muscly form was freaky when using it." says Kale.
"You tamed that form so we're all good. Just need to test our odds." says Caulifla.
"I don't like our odds." says Cabba.
The Ultra Guardians mount their Ride Pokémon and fly after Lunala and Necrozma with the trio following soon after.
"We have to follow them." says Lusamine.
"I suppose. Our plan A flew off with the others." says Wicked unamused.
"Leaving the helicopter would be such a pain..." sigh everyone.
Melemele beach...
After dragging the food truck to the beach, Meowth spots Lunala and Necrozma flying around and tries to get Jessie and James to look, but they aren't motivated to do so.
Team rocket helicopter...
"Gozu, what's going on?" wonders Matori not caring.
"What do you mean?" wonders Gozu, eye patch slipping off his eye.
"Ever since we arrived in Alola, we've been hopelessly relaxed..." says Matori.
"Yeah...wanna head back?" says Gozu smiling.
Alolan Meowth stared questionably at the unit just as Meowth calls, appearing on the screen.
'Big news! Wait what? What's with that outfit Matori? Where are you right now?' says Meowth freaking out before staring at Alolan meowth.
"It doesn't concern you." says Matori huffing, repositioning herself to get comfier.
'Listen anyway. Lunala and a black mega rare ultra beast soared passed us. They're in our direction, melemele island!' says Meowth.
"Oh..." says Matori.
'"Oh..."? You're not surprised at all?!' wonders Meowth.
"Gozu...? Guzu..!" says Matori.
Gozu snapped out of his dozing daze recollecting himself.
"Set course for melemele island, full bore!" says Gozu before dozing off again.
"What a pain..." says a subordinate.
'We're not gonna catch it?' wonders Jessie uninterested.
"Yes, we are. Not you useless bunch but us, the elite unit of team rocket...the Matori Martrix." says Matori.
'Matori detox?' wonders Jessie.
"Matori Martrix!" says Matori.
'I see...' says Jessie.
"You guys stay out of this and head home. Wherever your spoken home is. That's an order." says Matori.
The call ended causing Jessie to attempt to tear the video phone off.
"Hello? HELLO!? What's with the bowl haired four eyes!? 'Material Matomatomato'." says Jessie furiously.
"She hung up on us.." huffs James.
"How in love with yourself can you get!?" wonders Jessie.
"Yahoo! Jessie is back to her usual self!" says Meowth happily.
"Not really..." says Jessie tilting her head, "What a pain..."
"Home sounds nice right now. Lets stay out of this and check on that bear pokemon." says James.
"No! If Matori catches Lunala or that mega rare thing, she'll get promoted even further and be able to boss us around even more!" says Meowth.
Wobuffet agreed. Hala and his Hariyama grow concerned as Lunala and Necrozma appear above a Melemele beach.
"I thought the wind seemed unusually rowdy...So this is why." says Hala.
Hariyama agrees.
"If a battle breaks out here, there'll be trouble for sure..." says Hala.
Lunala is able to get away thanks to Tapu Koko who blocks Necrozma's path. Despite being hit by a Dazzling Gleam, Necrozma continues to pursue Lunala.
"What is that creature!?" wonders Hala.
The Ultra Guardians arrive on the scene as Necrozma launches a Psycho Cut, but Lunala dodges and retaliates with Moongeist Beam.
"Lunala!" says Ash worriedly.
Necrozma isn't fazed and hits Lunala with another Psycho Cut. Lunala fights back with Moonblast and Air Slash, then uses Phantom Force to ambush Necrozma.
"That was Phantom force!" says Robin dex happily.
"Lunala putting up a good fight!" says Mallow happily.
"That's a legendary Pokemon for you!" says Sophocles happily.
"So cool!" says Lana.
"Shouldn't we be helping the giant bat?" wonders Caulifla reverting her eyes.
Lunala attempts another Phantom Force, but Necrozma attacks with Metal Claw, which Lunala dodges, only to be hit by another Psycho Cut, sending it into the ocean.
"I'll take that as a yes." huffs Caulifla.
"Gladion!" says Ash.
"Yeah!" says Gladion.
"Ash!? Gladion!? We can't rush in!" says Lillie.
"My Noivern can help too." says Hazel following the boys.
"We haven't planned anything yet!" worries Lillie.
"Garchomp dragon pulse!" says Ash.
"Noivern boom burst!" says Gladion.
"You use boom last too!" says Hazzel.
The intervention of Garchomp's dragon pulse alongside the double boom burst from the Noivern duo angers Necrozma who unleashes Prismatic Laser on the Ultra Guardians, causing Lillie to fall off Altaria. Lunala swoops in and saves Lillie.
"Thank you Lunala." says Lillie setting her head down.
"Dumbasses." mutters Caulifla.
"You could've helped." says Trunks.
"Everyone and their monsters seem to be doing just fine." says Caulifla gritting her teeth.
"Lillie!" says Ash coming toward Lunala.
"Lillie, you alright?" wonders Gladion coming toward Lunala.
"Yes. Altaria are you alright?" says Lillie noticing Altaria fly up to Lunala.
Altaria let Lillie know it was relieved to see Lillie was safe.
"Thank you for helping Lillie Lunala." says Ash.
"I have to give my thanks too." says Gladion.
"Yeah, just fiiine." says Trunks.
"Is everyone here having a love of battle!? Staring off into space says otherwise for most of you." says Caulifla.
Trunks rolled his eyes, ignoring the furious female saiyan.
"Charizard flamethrower!" says Kiawe.
"Taking your time to launch attacks isn't how fighters should be!" says Caulifla.
"Flygon fire blast!" says Mallow.
"Metang flash cannon!" says Sophocles.
"Dragonair Ice beam!" says Lana.
"Go!" say Sophocles, Mellow and Lana.
"They are slow on the battle system." says Caulifla.
"You can't murder pokemon." says Trunks.
Charizard, Flygon, Metang, and Dragonair use Flamethrower, Fire Blast, Flash Cannon, and Ice Beam respectively on Necrozma, but it is still unfazed and attacks with more Prismatic Laser, forcing the Ultra Guardians to retreat. Before Ash could get out of sight, Poipole is heard calling to the dastardly ultra beast, fixating itself on Necrozma.
"Ash! Look at that ultra beast's back! It looks like the drawing Poipole made!" says Rotom dex stunned.
"You're right!" says Ash.
"And since it was on that mural too, that means...it's linked to the blinding one somehow." says Rotom dex wearily taking pictures.
Necrozma grabs onto Lunala and starts absorbing its Ultra Aura.
"What is happening?" wonders Lillie gloomily.
"It's absorbing ultra aura directly from Lunala! And not just that! Its trying to possess Lunala!" says Rotom dex.
"Are monsters capable of that?" wonders Cabba.
"Rotom dex means its like when mother was possessed." says Lillie.
"Not happening!" says Gladion taking off.
"Gladion! We can't be reckless with our pokemon! Once they faint you're screwed!" says Ash following Gladion.
"Noivern use boom burst then bite!" says Gladion.
Gladion's Noivern uses another Boomburst and a Bite attack, but Necrozma shakes them off which causes Gladion to fall off of Noivern. While Ash catches Gladion, Necrozma splits itself up and merges with Lunala, becoming Dawn Wings Necrozma.
