"You're right!" says Ash.
"And since it was on that mural too, that means...it's linked to the blinding one somehow." says Rotom dex wearily taking pictures.
Necrozma grabs onto Lunala and starts absorbing its Ultra Aura.
"What is happening?" wonders Lillie gloomily.
"It's absorbing ultra aura directly from Lunala! And not just that! Its trying to possess Lunala!" says Rotom dex.
"Are monsters capable of that?" wonders Cabba.
"Rotom dex means its like when mother was possessed." says Lillie.
"Not happening!" says Gladion taking off.
"Gladion! We can't be reckless with our pokemon! Once they faint you're screwed!" says Ash following Gladion.
"Noivern use boom burst then bite!" says Gladion.
Gladion's Noivern uses another Boomburst and a Bite attack, but Necrozma shakes them off which causes Gladion to fall off of Noivern. While Ash catches Gladion, Necrozma splits itself up and merges with Lunala, becoming Dawn Wings Necrozma.
"Lunala was..." says Ash.
"...ultra beasts can possess other ultra beasts?" says Gladion.
Matori Matrix's helicopter ensnares Dawn Wings Necrozma in an electromagnetic net.
"No way!" says Ash.
"Optical camouflage!?" wonders Gladion.
Rotom dex takes pictures of the newly remodeled Lunala that didn't bother to dodge the net.
Team rocket helicopter...
"Bring it up.." says Matori waving her hand dismissively.
"Open the hangar doors..." says Gozu.
"What a pain..." say the subordinates.
The doors slide open for the net to get pulled inside yet Dawn Wings Necrozma sets itself free just as Ash was about to help.
"That works too." says Ash sweatdropping.
Another Ultra Wormhole opens up and Nebby emerges from it only to get caught in the net instead.
"Solgaleo!?" wonders Ash.
"That's..." says Lillie.
"A giant lion appears now? What other giant animals wanna appear?" wonders Caulifla.
"I missed you Solgaleo!" says Ash.
"Go help your lackeys." says Caulifla to Cabba.
"They're not my lackeys." says Cabba.
"With these attires, they'd be lackey approved with the way you like your saiyan attire." chuckles Caulifla.
Cabba sweat dropped before going back to observing the scene. Nebby turns its attention to Dawn Wings Necrozma and attacks it with Flash Cannon, but Dawn Wings Necrozma counters with Prismatic Laser. Then, Nebby hits Dawn Wings Necrozma with Sunsteel Strike, which causes Necrozma to separate from Lunala and fall into the sea.
"All right!" says Ash happily with Pikachu playing along.
"But Lunala..." says Lillie.
"What about the ultra beast?" wonders Gladion.
"It broke apart and fell." says Sophocles.
Nebby rushes to Lunala's side, but it is attacked by the helicopter.
"That aircraft again!?" wonders Gladion.
"What's their deal?!" wonders Ash.
Team rocket helicopter...
"Don't mess it up this time." says Matori sighing boredly.
"Yeah...maximize the electromagnetic net's power." says Gozu slumping.
"But that might damage them." says a grunt.
"I don't care. Do it." says Gozu waving it off.
"What a pain..." say the grunts.
The electromagnetic net captures Nebby and Lunala causing concern to the students.
"Stop this!" says Lillie.
"Before we go at them, can we tell if its monster trainer vs monsters or monster vs monster? We can't put ourselves on the line if the creatures are at eachother." says Cabba.
"So, wait and see? That's a boring way to battle." says Caulifla.
"Seems other people desire the giant animals." says Kale.
"Silvaddy, air slash!" says Gladion.
"Pikachu, thunderbolt!" says Ash.
Silvally and Pikachu use Air Slash and Thunderbolt on the net, freeing the pair. Nebby attacks the helicopter, forcing it to retreat. Necrozma recovers and targets Nebby.
"Not good!" says Kiawe.
"Solgaleo!" says Ash.
Necrozma grabs onto Nebby, splits up its body, and merges the parts onto the latter's body, becoming Dusk Mane Necrozma.
"Now Solgaleo is possessed." says Rotom dex.
Dusk Mane Necrozma opens up and Ultra Wormhole.
"It's running away?" wonders Gladion.
Dusk Mane Necrozma goes through the ultra hole.
"Give us Solgaleo!" says Ash.
Ash tries to chase after Dusk Mane Necrozma, but the Ultra Wormhole closes before he can go through.
"It vanished, still possessing Solgaleo..." says Hala.
Professor Kukui and Samson Oak are sleeping, when suddenly, they are revitalized.
"Time to bulk up!" says Kukui tossing off his shirt and lab coat.
"Time for my transpartrix!" says principal Samson.
Back at Team Rocket's food truck, Jessie and James also get their energy back.
"Remembering that bowl headed four eyes made my stomach churn." says Jessie annoyed.
"Yahoo! Jessie and James are back to normal at last." says Meowth happily.
They drive off to go find Lunala and Necrozma.
Team rocket helicopter...
They suddenly feel normal and reactivate their aircraft's optical camouflage to wait for their next chance.
Beach...
"Good job everyone. You kept the bat safe and let the black thing nab the lion." says Caulifla clapping her hands frowning.
"The black monster creature hates the bat and lion for reasons we don't know yet." says Cabba.
Aether Foundation staff arrive at the Ultra Guardians' location.
"How's Lunala?!" wonders Lusamine running up to everyone after the helicopter touched down.
"We're giving it first aid." says Kiawe.
"Spraying monsters is first aid?"' wonders Caulifla taking notice of everyone around the bat.
"Its equivalent to medicine for humans." says Ash.
"Each spray has its own way of helping Pokemon out. Feeling better Lunala?" says Lillie spraying Lunala with a full restore.
"You need to eat this obon berry." says Lana holding the berry to its mowth.
"Hang in there!" says Mallow.
"It'll need emergency transportation." says Wicke.
"The closest place is the Pokemon school's underground base!" says Burnet.
"Let's carry it there! Faba, you know what to do!" says Lusamine.
"Yes!" says Faba.
They bring Lunala back to the Ultra Guardians base to heal.
"Mom...the ultra beast that consumed Solgaleo...what was that?" says Gladion looking at Lusamine.
"I don't know. For now, we decided to call it:UB:Black." says Lusamine.
"UB:Black..." says Lillie.
'EVERYONE!'
Kukui and Samson Oak join them at the base noticing more faces in the group of students.
"Ash drag more people here?" wonders Kukui.
"Looks that way." says Samson.
"There's no more reasons to leave?" wonders Kukui.
"Professor Kukui! Principal Samson! I'm here to stay. Tournament is over and these three have nowhere special to be." says Ash happily.
"You're not hurt, are you?" wonders Kukui.
"Scientist guy, why do these kids have Cabba's saiyan attire style? You humans aren't part of our lifestyle so how is it you copied Cabba's look in multiple colors?" wonders Caulifla getting in Kukui's face.
"Not sure how to answer that. The suits indicate mission time to send ultra beasts back to the other side of the ultra hole." says Kukui.
"Caulifla stop hounding for answers about my outfit. They're part of universe 6 so itd make sense to use jumpsuits that appear to be an attire consisting of a shirt and shorts." says Cabba sweat dropping.
Kukui and Samson turned their attention to Lunala and their mouth slowly went agape at the sight of it inside their hideout.
"Amazing...so this is Lunala?" wonders Kukui stunned.
"Good to see professor Kukui back to his old self." says Sophocles.
"Yeah...the dark cloud over my mind has cleared up like a sunny day!" says Kukui.
"I feel like a Roggenrola ringing a Boldore without a carumaka!" says Samson.
"Is what he say supposed to be amusing?" wonders Cabba.
"Sounds lame." says Caulifla.
"That's our principal for ya." says Sophocles.
"You gonna say anything Kale?" wonders Caulifla.
"What am I to say? This doesn't feel like a proper fight and now there are puns to cheer people up?" wonders Kale.
"Come to think of it, you're fine too mother." says Lillie looking at Lusamine.
"Yes. Its ironic...seems as got better thanks to UB:Black absorbing Solgaleo's ultra aura." says Lusamine.
"I hope Solgaleo's ok..." says Ash frowning.
Burnet and Wicke return from the medical room with everyone expecting solemn expressions. Instead they get smiling scientists who are pleased with the results.
"Professor Burnet, how's Lunala?" wonders Ash.
"The treatment is complete!" says Burnet happily.
"Now, we'll just have to wait for it to recover its strength." says Wicke.
Everyone sighed in relief except for the trio that was still unsure of Ash's world view, though Lusamine and Gladion were smiling contentedly at the response.
"Lunala..." says Lillie smiling gloomily looking at Lunala.
"UB:Black huh..." says Gladion.
"Come to think of it, the mural we found at the Altar of the Sunne...it had a picture of UB:Black on it." says Ash.
"Yes. It seems there's a deep connection between the radiant one and UB:Black." says Lusamine.
"If we want to solve that mystery, we'll have to decipher the writing on the mural!" says Burnet.
"One question still remains...why did you draw the same image that was on the mural?" wonders Rotom dex looking at Poipole.
Poipole attempts to explain, but no one can understand it.
"Even if I try, I won't be able to translate ultra beast." says Rotom dex.
"Anyone know how to translate?" wonders Kale.
"Does anyone have a translator on hand?" wonders Caulifla.
'Everyone!'
Everyone turned their heads to see Faba run into the room was my something in his hand.
"Everyone, we've verified the data of the aircraft that tried to capture Lunala and the others!" says Faba.
"Who are they!?" wonders Kiawe.
"An organization that operates from Kanto; Team Rocket." says Faba.
"Jessie and James don't use that type of aircraft! That would mean Giovanni..." says Ash.
"Giovanni?" wonder the trio.
"Team rocket are my long time stalker-advisaries who follow me to the ends of the earth to distract me from my goals. Its mostly Jessie, James and Meowth. Giovanni took it upon himself to go to Unova while I was traveling there and that was the last I saw of the leader." says Ash looking at the trio.
"This Giovanni fellow sent his elite force, The Matori Matrix." says Faba showing the tablet screen.
"Matori Matrix?" wonders Lusamine.
"I say we get right to working on a plan to deal with them as well as UB:Black." says Faba.
"Got it. Children, stay with Lunala." says Lusamine facing the students.
"Yes!" say the students.
"I guess we could. Monster trainer warriors have nothing compared to us and the other universal warriors of combat." huffs Caulifla.
"Lets get going too." says Kukui looking at Samson.
"Yes." nods Samson.
Lusamine has the Ultra Guardians stay to watch over Lunala as the adults leave to plan the next stage of action. As the sun rises slowly into the sky, the Island Kahunas visit their respective ruins: Hala at the Ruins of Conflict, Olivia at the Ruins of Life, and Nanu with Acerola visit the Ruins of Abundance; where they pray as their islands' respective Guardian deities watch.
"It has begun...the day of the eclipse and the Manalo festival." says Hala.
"The emissary of the sun, Solgaleo has been taken away, while the emissary of the moon, Lunala, has been robbed of its power." thinks Olivia.
"What is about to happen in Alola?" wonders Olivia.
"Hey, radiant one, I know this is ancient history and all but the sun and moon emissaries saves you, didn't they? So, mind saving them in return this time? Repaying the favor can't be that weird. They save your ass, you save theirs. Nothing hard." says Nanu.
"You're saying it all wrong again! You have to make it a proper prayer! So that our feelings of gratitude will reach the radiant one." says Acerola annoyed.
Underground base...
"Get well soon Lunala." says Ash happily.
"When I touched Lunala's back, it was warm like Solgaleo's. I felt the power of the moon." thinks Lillie smiling.
"Solgaleo saved mom...Lunala saved Lillie...now its my turn to save it." thinks Gladion frowning.
"Solgaleo, we're going to save you for sure using our full power." says Ash forming a fist.
"Yeah!" say the students.
"Full power!" says Rotom dex.
The group's Z-Rings and Z-Power Rings glow orange and the energy surrounds Lunala who soon wakes up from its recovery.
"Lunala!" says Gladion happily.
"All right! Lunala's back to full strength!" says Sophocles happily.
"Huh!? Everyone, we need to get out of Lunala's way!" says Kiawe freaking out.
The others give confused looks until it clicked in their heads as the group watch on as Lunala spreads its wings and shatters the medical room's glass. The adults rush back to find out what caused the glass to break and their mouths drop at the sight of Lunala freeing itself.
"Lunala is...!" says Burnet.
"Calm down Lunala!" says Lusamine.
Lunala was to busy thrashing around to hear the voices of its saviors.
"It must want to help Solgaleo." says Lillie.
"What else could it be? Then, we'll do the same!" says Ash.
"Yeah, lets go." says Gladion.
"Yeah!" say the rest.
"Wait just a minute! You're planning on accompanying Lunala to the world beyond the ultra hole?!" says Lusamine annoyed.
"Yes." says Ash.
"Going there is dangerous! You already had to rescue me in the ultra world!" says Lusamine.
"We got home safely with you after rescuing your selfish minded body." says Gladion.
"Selfish indeed but to put it like that?" wonders Lillie.
"She let her body get possessed." says Gladion annoyed.
"True but it went well last time. Lusamine is off the crazy train and is staying off. Also, we don't know what kind of world that ultra hole leads to!" says Burnet.
"It will be fine. We have new faces to help protect us." says Lillie.
"Can you trust strangers like us?" wonders Cabba.
"If Ash does, so do we. Please let us save Nebby." says Lillie frowning.
"All right." sighs Lusamine.
"We'll do what we can to support you!" says Burnet.
"Yes!" says Wicke smiling.
"Let's go everyone!" says Ash taking off.
The adults watched as the rest of the classmates followed Ash with the trio shrugging before chasing after them soon after.
Outside the school...
At sunrise, Team Rocket wanders into the Pokémon School, determined to capture Lunala and hand it over to Giovanni before Matori does.
"If we can get Lunala and hand it over to Giovanni before that bowl headed four eyes does..." says Jessie.
"His respect for us will skyrocket!" says Meowth.
"And then we'll get to order that bowl headed four eyes around!" says Jessie.
Wobuffet agrees. The school's river opens up and Lunala flies out, followed by the Ultra Guardians on their ride Pokémon and the trio zooming passed the confused team rocket trio.
"Lunala took off with the twerps going after it!" says Meowth looking up.
"We're not giving up!" says Jessie.
"Let's go after it!" says Meowth.
"And while we're at it, we'll gather some info!" says James.
Underground Base...
"Let's go too." says Lusamine.
"Yeah." says Burnet.
"I'll prepare a helicopter." says Wicke.
"Wait...I'll go Lusamine." says Kukui.
"What?" wonders Lusamine.
"We've been inundated with unexpected problems since yesterday. And for all we know, Team Rocket could strike again." says Kukui.
"But..." says Lusamine.
"Professor Kukui is right. Please remain here President. We need someone to gather information and gives orders." says Faba.
"Yet-"
"Please don't worry. I'll keep my eyes on him." says Faba looking back at Kukui.
"You're the most suspicious of us all." says Kukui.
"But I've changed." says Faba.
"That expression says otherwise." says Kukui frowning.
"Alright...if you feel its needed Faba." says Lusamine sighing.
"Burnet, I leave this to you." says Kukui looking at Burnet.
"Be careful." says Burnet worriedly.
"Well then..come along Kukui. Another thing, I'll be team leader." says Faba walking away.
Kukui nodded, smiling and left with Faba to chase after the saviors of Alola; if the adults wanna go with an alternative.

Lusamine opens up and enters an Ultra Wormhole followed by the Ultra Guardians.
"Maybe those ladies need backup." says Cabba.
"We need to keep observing your lackies." says Caulifla.
"Yet no actual showdown has been shown." says Kale.
"Come on before it disappears!" says Caulifla.
Underground base...
"Our connection with the ultra guardians has been broken." says Wicke.
"Does that include audio?" wonders Lusamine.
"I'll see what I can do." says Wicke typing away.
The Matori Matrix spot the Ultra Wormhole and prepare to enter, but their helicopter is attacked by Kukui's Braviary causing sustainable damage.
"What happened!?" wonders Matori.
"We've taken a hit from 9 o clock!" says a female grunt.
"Doesn't matter who's stopping us! We need to get inside the ultra hole! Keep going!" says Matori.
"No, it wouldn't be safe to enter with the hull damaged!" says Gozu.
Matori growled at the options be falling them when the catch was just out of reach.
"Fall back and put out the fire!" says Gozu.
"Hard turn to port." says the female grunt turning the ship.
"Get that fire out!" says the male grunt.
"Multiple heat signatures on the mountain ahead! Putting it on screen!" says says another male grunt.
Kukui, Faba, and their Pokémon who ended up on Ten Carat Hill appeared on the holoscreen.
'Well done!' says Kukyui as Braviary landed next to him.
Braviary was happy to help its trainer.
'Hey, you listening? 'Matori Matrix' was it? We won't let you interfere with ultra guardian work!' says Kukui smiling.
"You insolent little...!" growls Matori.
'Braviary rock slide!' says Kukui.
'Alakazam shadow ball! Hypno psychic!' says Faba.
Braviary, Alakazam, and Hypno use Rock Slide, Shadow Ball, and Psychic respectively on the helicopter, damaging it even further.
"Gozu, crush the enemy!" says Matori.
"You needn't tell me!" says Gozu pressing buttons before standing up, "Prepare a counterattack!"
