"The Masked Royal and Incineroar are the winners! Mad Magmar and Magmortar have once again failed to get revenge!" says the announcer as everyone cheered.
Mad Magmar angrily sent back his Magmortar before glaring daggers at the masked royal.
"I'll get you for this!" says Mad Magmar running away.
"Attention everyone! I have been waiting to let more people know how great royal battles are! For that reason, the masked royal and Incineroar will be going to each town for a meet and greet tour!" says the masked royal.
"What? Really!?" wonder the audience.
"First stop, Melemele town! At Melemele's shopping mall, come shake my hand!" says the masked royal.
Kukui's house...
'Well then, everyone enjoy!' says masked royal doing the pose with Incineroar.
"You get to beat up pokemon for people's entertainment?" wonders Caulifla watching the tv.
"You can only use one pokemon from your current team to take on the others to see if you win." says Ash excitedly.
"You don't do it yourself? That's so stupid." says Caulifla.
"Well, yeah, trainers need pokemon for any type of battle scenario." says Ash.
"And the professor is nowhere to be found." huffs Caulifla.
"Trunks and Goten got their pokemon from Kahuna Hala instead of the professor. It's always been go to the professor for the starter of your choice; fire type, water type or grass type. Hala must be helping the professor with how much he does between lab work and teaching." says Ash shrugging.
"Fire would be me do to my personality. Water would be Cabba and grass maybe Kale. Her saiyan aura is blazing but fire types wont suit her." says Caulifla.
"Only three can be shown per trainer; Fire type Litten, Water type Poplio or Grass type Rowlet. What you choose can't be taken back." says Ash.
"No take-backs? You have to choose from what's provided!? What if you hate all three options?" wonders Caulifla.
"You have to choose so you can start journeying." says Ash.
"Your classmates don't seem to mind not gaining starters." says Caulifla.
"They already have partners so starters aren't needed persay." says Ash.
"So we don't have to get pokemon to venture with you?" wonders Caulifla.
"Only if you're at the appropriate age or older. I'm not sure what types suit you three. There's lots of types to choose from. Yet you never know what appears." says Ash.

"That was a great battle as always. Good work Incineroar." says masked royal looking at Incineroar.
Kukui sends Incineroar back then heads home to an excited Burnett and Ash while the saiyans and Hazzel stared.
Kukui's place...
"We can't snatch pokemon without those ball things." mutters Caulifla.
"Ash is more focused on the fight than how we can obtain monsters." says Cabba sweat dropping at Ash's behavior.
'Kukui! Kukui! Guess what! It looks like masked royal is coming to Melemele island's shopping mall!' say Burnett and Ash getting in Kukui's face startling him.
"I-I see..." says Kukui sweat dropping.
"We're going right!?" wonder Burnet and Ash.
"Ehhh..." says Kukui.
"We can't miss this!" say Burnet and Ash.
"Are you people trying to mock our type of matches? It's supposed to be you yourself facing the opponent and his techniques not washed up monsters you screech orders to." says Caulifla.
"Ummmm...that's our way of doing things in Alola." says Kukui nervously.
"There's no way this can end well..." thinks Kukui.
Hokulani Observatory...
Kukui goes to Molayne for advice to which he chuckles at the thought.
"You came to me for that?" wonders Molayne smiling.
"This is no laughing matter for me. I dunno how Ash juggles two lives and feels fine about it." says Kiawe.
"Oh, sorry! So, you have to accompany everyone at your house to the event at the local shopping mall despite the fact you are royal mask." says Molayne.
"I shouldn't've said it but everything got exciting and I got caught up in the moment. Burnet is particularly fired up about going to meet him together." says Kukui huffing.
"I can't believe she still hasn't figure it out..." says Molayne looking at Kukui.
"Isn't it obvious by my beard and skin color? My wife never put 2 and 2 together and now I'm suffering for it. Don't get me wrong. There were a few times I thought my cover would get blown." says Kukui.
Kukui reflects on the few occasions where his secret identity was nearly revealed.
"Somehow, she hasn't figured it out. She does chuckle about me resembling masked royal. Ash was able to leave and come back as he pleased yet for me, I feel I never got a chance to reveal myself to her." says Kukui nervously laughing.
"Hmmmm..." says Molayne.
"Besides..." says Kukui.
'Masked Royal is super cool! He's so strong and kind. That's why you should meet him in person. A wonderful hero and my husband...I have two princes in my life now.' says Burnet sparkly eyed.
"I'd crush her dreams if I told her." says Kukui shrugging.
"During the meet and greet, when it becomes Professor Burnet's turn, Masked Royal will think up a reason to go backstage. I borrow your mask and come up front to shake Burnet's hand. You watch this by her side. When that's over, I go backstage again and switch places with you. How does that sound?" says Molayne.
"That's perfect Molayne!" says Kukui happily.
"My best friend needs help. I'll roll up my sleeves." says Molayne.
Mall...
Burnet, Ash, Trunks, Goten, Hazzel and the saiyan trio are accompanied by Molayne because Kukui is supposedly late.
"L-Let's get going! B-Before all the best seats are taken." says Burnett walking away.
"Wait!" says Ash going after Burnett.
"Let's get some good seats!" says Rotom dex.
"Atleast this region has some likeness to our way of life." says Trunks.
"Yeah, but how can we gain pokemon without the proper equipment?" wonders Cabba.
"Hala helps Kukui give out starters and the professor hands you 5 pokeballs to finish catching your team until you are able to buy more pokeballs." says Trunks.
"So everything starts with Hala if we find him again. I was really hoping to talk with him after escaping the ultra hole." says Hazzel.
"We have to get our monster balls too." says Kale.
"For now, it's all about Masked Royal." says Caulifla.
"Yeah." says Cabba.

Business is slow thanks to the Masked Royal's visit.
"We're not selling a thing..." says Jessie leaning back in her seat boredly.
"Looks like everyone is to caught up in the whole Masked Royal thing." says Meowth boredly.
"Of course. They're going to meet their hero after all." says Jessie while James was pacing around.
"Maybe we should just close up the shop for the day." says Meowth.
"Guess I'll go take a break then!" says James.
James removes his uniform and rushes out leaving Jessie and Meowth to stare blankly.
Mall...
The Masked Royal competes in an exhibition Battle Royal against a Poliwrath doll.
"Masked Royal is really cool!" says Ash in awe.
"Yeah." says Burnet.
Torrocat was about to take off in eager excitement when Pikachu caught it by its tail.
"Torrocat, this isn't a battle royal. You have to sit still." says Ash.
Torrocat turned its head angrily.
The crowd, including James and Faba, are enthralled as Incineroar bouts against an Alolan Golem and Muk doll.
"Keep it up Masked Royal!" cheers James happily.
"Umm, excuse me? Would you please quiet down a bit?" wonders Faba glaring at James.
The moment James took notice of Faba, both were surprised to see eachother.
"What are you doing here?" wonder James and Faba pointing at eachother.
"No, that's what I should be asking." says Faba crossing his arms.
"Same to you." says James setting his fists on his sides.
Faba gasped upon seeing James's fan t-shirt.
"Th-That shirt!" says Faba pointing in shock.
"What about it?" wonders James.
"It's the one Masked Royal was personally involved in making which was spent half a year being designed and three months in production." says Faba.
James raised an eyebrow in confusion.
"It was before finally being released and selling out in three minutes! That's a super rare item!" says Faba.
"Oh, this?" wonders James touching his shirt.
"Yeah, yeah." says Faba nodding.
"I managed to get ahold of this after standing in line for three days." says James praising himself before wrapping his arms around himself, "Wait, how do you know about it?"
Faba chuckled opening his lab coat to show his fan shirt which was exactly like James's.
"Heh? Does that mean...?" wonders James.
"It would seem that we are kindred spirits." says Faba.
"What, really?! Which match is your favorite?" wonders James grabbing Faba's hands while fan-boying.
"I thought his match with the Revenger was a really intense match!" says Faba sparkly eyed.
"I know what you mean! I got to see that match up close." says James giddily.
"For real? So that was when you got hooked?" wonders Faba.
"Yeah!" says James.
"Yahoo!" say James and Faba high fiving.
"Enjoy!" says Masked Royal doing the pose.
"Enjoy!" say the audience mimicking the pose.
"That's it for the demonstration! Now it's time for the meet and greet!" says Masked Royal.
"No fake opponent to take on? Balloon Pokemon only? The actual battle was more entertaining than this and it was pokemon vs pokemon in a sense." says Caulifla.
"Alola needs some form of entertainment if Sinnoh and Hoenn have pokemon contests that show off a pokemon's charms or quirks. Kalos had something similar but only involved girls called pokemon showcases. Though, I wasn't around till heading to the eighth gym so I missed out on alot of them. Serena had to juggle pretending to be me and showcases so I could get into the Kalos league. I didn't question my team to much but to have Lucario in Kalos when I should have only Kalos pokemon was unexpected. I don't think I asked about what pokemon were meant to be mine compared to her pageantry pokemon." says Ash thinking back.
Trunks, Hazzel and Goten nodded.
Ash turned his head to see what appeared to be Burnett sobbing in her hands.
"What's wrong?" wonders Ash frowning.
"What do I do?" wonders Burnet blushing hard.
Rotom dex went up to Burnett in confusion.
"I-I got all nervous." says Burnet wearily.
"Heart rate increasing...heart rate increasing..." says Rotom dex.
"GAH! I knew this would happen! That's why I wanted Kukui to come." says Burnet groaning.
"Professor Kukui sure is late." says Rotom dex looking around.
"Sheesh! What is he doing!?" wonders Burnett not realizing he was shaking the hands of his fans.
'Keep it up!' says a fan shaking Masked Royal's hand.
'Thank you!' says Masked Royal.
"The next up is..." says Masked Royal looking at the line.
"Masked Royal! Been ages since we battled! Torrocat is eager to fight you again." says Ash.
"Ash! It's nice to see you and your new friends too! Trunks and Goten if I recall? Two new girls and a boy I never set eyes on yet." says Masked Royal holding out his hand.
"This looks fishy." mutters Caulifla.
"Your annoyance toward me must mean you never saw such an amazing battler here before." says Masked Royal looking at Caulifla, Kale and Cabba.
"She keeps comparing Alola way of battling to what she knows as battling." says Ash sweat dropping.
"There are ways to battle without pokemon?" wonders Masked Royal.
"Yes and no. Hard to put into words. She wants to see the humans fight not pokemon." says Ash.
"Huh?" wonders Masked Royal.
"I'm not sure how to perk her mood up." says Ash.
"I'm ready." thinks Molayne nodding.
"Alright." thinks Masked Royal nodding.
"I know this is abrupt everyone, but I need a break from so many oncoming faces." says Masked Royal sending Incineroar back.
"Huh?" wonders Burnet.
Everyone sweat dropped at the way Masked Royal left the ring.
"I-I think I need a royal break too! All that waiting made me need the bathroom!" says Molayne awkwardly before leaving.
"Oh come on! What's going on?" wonders Burnet.
"It seems he's taking a short break." says Faba frowning.
"Huh? No, no, Jessie will be pissed if I don't get back." says James worriedly.
"Are you in a hurry?" wonders Faba looking at James.
"Kinda...I'd rather have this done quickly." says James awkwardly.
"Actually..." says Faba in a hushed tone.
James looked at Faba quizzically.
"I know who Masked Royal is." whispers Faba into James's ear.
"EH!? You know THE Masked Royal?" wonders James practically screaming it.
"Shoosh you!" says Faba covering James's mouth angrily.
"Th-That's incredible!" says James in a hushed tone.
"With that said...it's not entirely impossible to bypass the crowd and shake his hand backstage." says Faba.
"R-Really? If all goes well, we might get access to his dressing room and maybe even get his autograph in all the confusion." says James.
"What a splendid idea!" says Faba.
backstage...
Kukui hands over Incineroar's Poké Ball and his mask to Molayne to do the switch as planned.
"Thank you so much again. I'd hate to ask this of you but Burnett will get suspicious." says Kukui.
"I told you I'd roll up my sleeves if need be for a my best friend but are you sure about this?" says Molayne holding up Incineroar's pokeball.
"If I don't show up, Burnet will be angry with me for not coming here in person." says Kukui.
"This will mean Burnett will not be shaking the real Masked Royal's hand." says Molayne frowning.
"It's the price I have to pay for being a celebrity." thinks Kukui frowning shamefully.
"Well then, I'm going to the dressing room to change. You go be with your wife." says Molayne and walked away.
"Oh, right." says Kukui taking off.
"Um, where were the dressing rooms again?" wonders Faba with James beside him.
James and Faba spot Molayne heading into the dressing room with the Masked Royal's mask in his arms.
"That's..." says Faba suspisciously.
"..Masked Royal's mask." says James.
"Hmmm." thinks Faba.
"Could that be...?" wonders James eagerly.
"No, you should know Royal Mask's features by now. From what I can gather, it must be just another fan who wants to cosplay as Masked Royal. Who doesn't love cosplaying?" says Faba.
"People who don't have the money to buy the outfit, wig and accessories." says James pondering.
"Let's see where Masked Roy-"
"But isnt that the special version he started using from the single match the other day?" wonders James.
"People can buy masks." says Faba confused.
"The horns are a bit larger than they were on the old model and there's a bit more space around the mouth. The material's more elastic, more breathable, and even heat resistant." says James.
"How would you know all that?" wonders Faba disheveled by James's reaction.
"In other words..." says James getting in Faba's face.
"In other words..." says Faba.

"Well then, I said I'd roll up my sleeves but I didn't think I'd have to take them off." says Molayne sighing to himself.
The pair sneak into the dressing room and restrain Molayne suspecting that Molayne stole the mask.

Kukui finally catches up with the others.
"Sorry for the wait, got caught up in something and couldn't leave right away. Where's masked royal?" says Kukui nervously.
"He's on break, Molayne isn't here either." says Ash.
"Molayne came and disappeared too? Talk about coincidences. Well, it's always important to take breaks but to look for a bathroom and not return is looking rude." says Kukui looking away.
"Come out Masked Royal! I've returned from the depths of hell once more to defeat you!" says a voice that was all to familiar.
dressing room...
Molayne was stuck tied up with ducktape on his mouth, squirming away confused by the two males that slipped backstage.
"Stealing Masked Royal's sacred mask.." says James angrily.
Molayne shook his head trying to say it was a misunderstanding, but Faba and James wouldn't believe him.
"You deserve to be struck down from the heavens!" says James.
"Indeed!" says Faba annoyed.
"I will be Masked Royal. says James.
"You fit the MC role so I will become Masked Royal. I will take the utmost care of this mask!" says Faba.
"No, no, I will take the utmost, most meticulous care of it!" says James.
"No, I will take the utmost, most meticulous perfect care of it!" says Faba grabbing the mask in James's hand.
"Oh, no, no, no, I'll take thrilling, surprising, naturally royally good care." says James trying to release Faba's grip.
Suddenly Molayne, Faba and James hear a female scream and turn their heads in curiosity.
ring...
"Come out Masked Royal! Fight me!" says Mad Magmar angrily.
Mad Magmar had Magmortar toss the pokemon balloons at the audience scaring them away in the process.
"Don't move, unless you want that to happen to you." says Mad Magmar.
"He's taken the audience hostage." says Rotom dex frightened.
"That's low Mad Magmar!" says Kukui furiously.
"Yeah, that's right!" says Ash angrily.
"This could be our chance to have a human vs human fight!" says Caulifla happily.
"Ummmm no, Ash said it has to be pokemon vs pokemon." says Cabba.
"Someone has to knock the unannounced visitor out." grumbles Caulifla.
"Can it! If you get in my way, I'll use Magmortar's fire punch to smash you and this tent!" says Mad Magmar glaring at the group.
Faba and James watch the situation from behind a curtain as they hold Incineroar's Poké Ball and the Masked Royal's mask in hand.
Magmortar was forming a fire ball as Mad Magmar looked around for the celeb in question.
"Why aren't you coming out Masked Royal! Did you lose your nerve?" says Mad Magmar.
"Why won't Masked Royal come back?" wonders Burnet.
"If only I had Incineroar's pokeball, I'd beable to start a battle. But then Burnett will put 2 and 2 together." thinks Kukui who was beside himself.
'I can't believe Mad Magmar would come all the way here for his last loss! Why isn't Masked Royal coming out?' says James.
James and Faba...
"Since we have the mask and pokeball, he can't help even if he wants to." says Faba looking at the items.
Ring...
"Didn't take you for such a coward Masked Royal! This just proves that I, Mad Magmar, am the true champion!" says Mad Magmar.
'I will not let you to insult Masked Royal any more than that!' says a voice.
Mad Magmar looked around for where the voice was coming from.
"Wh-Who's there?" wonders Mad Magmar looking back.
"We're terribly sorry to have kept you waiting! The star has arrived! Today's leading man and the true battle royal champion...our hero! Yes, indeed! Masked Royal!" says James.
A light shines on the entrance to backstage showing Faba's disguise that leaves Kukui and the crowd in shock.
"He seems to have taken on a new form." says Rotom dex confused.
Faba climbs into the ring and sends out Incineroar, who is also left dumbfounded by the Masked Royal's drastic change. Mad Magmar and Magmortar were sweat dropping at the sight of the supposed Masked Royal champion.
"Incineroar, Dark Lariat!" says 'Masked Royal'.
Incineroar sweat dropped at the rage Faba was giving off as Masked Royal.
"Dar-kest Lar-i-at! DARKEST LARIAT NOW!" says 'Masked Royal'.
Incineroar huffed then follows the orders and approaches Magmortar with a Darkest Lariat.
"Here it comes! It's Incineroar's darkest lariat!" says James happily.
"Alright Magmortar, grab Incineroar and throw it!" says Mad Magmar.
Magmortar easily dodges the attack and throws Incineroar out of the ring, knocking Faba out cold.
"Oh no, Masked Royal has been crushed by his beloved partner! You and Incineroar can't be down for the count already! Stand up and get to your feet Masked Royal!" says James running to the side where Faba and Incineroar lay on the floor.
Kukui rushes to Incineroar to see if it's ok after being tossed out of the ring.
"Are you alright?" wonders Kukui.
Incineroar had angry tears wondering why his pokeball was in another person's hand.
"We're not done yet." says Faba swirly eyed.
"Faba!?" wonders Kukui confused.
"Please stand up." says James wearily.
"Hahahaha...what a farce. Did Masked Royal decide to play me like a fool and send someone in his place as a gimmick? What a pathetic way to get away from me. Masked Royal really is a fraud and coward!" says Mad Magmar.
Kukui growled glaring up at his pokemon wrestling foe.
"That is not true!" says Burnett sticking up for Masked Royal.
"Huh?" wonders Kukui frowning.
"Masked Royal isn't a fraud! He is no coward either! Masked Royal is the strongest, kindest, most coolest guy in Alola!" says Burnet.
Kukui couldn't help but blush at those words.
"Yeah! Masked Royal would never lose to the likes of you!" says Ash.
"He's right!" says Burnet.
"That's right!" say the audience.
"You tell him!" says the kid in a Incineroar ear hat.
"Masked Royal!" chant everyone in the room except the saiyan trio and Kukui.
"Can it already! He still fails to show himself! That proves he is a coward!" says Mad Magmar angrily.
Suddenly the lights turn out startling everyone in the room.
"Wh-What?" wonders Mad Magmar looking around.
"What's going on?" wonder everyone looking up.
"I'm sorry it took so long Kukui." says Molayne who ended up behind him.
"Molayne?" wonders Kukui turning around.
"It took awhile to untie the ropes." says Molayne awkwardly.
"Ropes?" wonders Kukui confused.
"I was tied up by two fans which is why there was a different stand in." says Molayne.
"I'm confused." says Kukui.
"Nevermind, take the mask and put it on for the fans." says Molayne.
"O-Of course." says Kukui taking the mask.
As soon as Kukui put the mask on, the lights flickered on blinding everyone in the room before taking notice of the real Masked Royal.
"You're..." says Mad Magmar shaky eyed.
"I'm sorry for the inconvenience Mad Magmar but my mask was snatched away during the break while I specifically said I'd be right back. Now, enlighten me on how I am a fraud and coward to my supporting fans." says Masked Royal frowning.
"I-It's Masked Royal!" says James excitedly.
The audience was beaming with joy upon seeing Masked Royal enter the ring.
"He's back!" says Ash.
"Mad Magmar I won't let you cause any more trouble!" says Masked Royal pointing at Mad Magmar and Magmortar.
"Damn you...Magmortar Fire punch!" says Mad Magmar growling.
"Burn with a passion Incineroar! Set the ring ablaze with the flames of victory! Malicious Moonsault!" says Masked Royal.
Magmortar goes in for a Fire Punch, but the match is quickly over after Incineroar lands an all-powerful Malicious Moonsault.
"Incineroar's z move finishes the match with style! Masked Royal wins by a landslide!" says James.
"Damn it all! I'll get you for this!" says Mad Magmar fleeing the room with Magmortar.
"He did it!" shout the kids.
"Thank you everyone! Enjoy!" says Masked Royal doing the pose with Incineroar.
"Enjoy!" say the audience doing the pose.
"He's so freakin cool!" says James sparkly eyed.
"Masked Royal sir..." says Burnet getting to flustered to stand.
Seeing Burnet become incredibly flustere and collapsing to the floor, the Masked Royal is more than willing to help her to her feet.
"Are you alright? You're not hurt, are you?" wonders Masked Royal.
Looking up into Masked Royal's eyes, Burnet couldn't help but blush bright red at how confirting Masked Royal seemed around her.
"N-No sir!" says Burnet.
"Thank you for cheering me on back there." says Masked Royal holding his hand out to her.
Burnet was lost for words as Masked Royal brought her to her feet and raised her hand up.
"Alright everyone! Let the meet and greet continue!" says Masked Royal.
Burnet Ash, Trunks, Goten and Hazzel soon leave the mall, and Kukui joins them.
"Don't leave me behind." says Kukui.
"Professor Kukui!" says Ash turning around.
"Where were you?" wonders Rotom dex.
"Here, there...multitasking is hard when you have to do research and attend things on the same day." says Kukui.
"That bastard should've been beaten to a crisp by combat skills." says Caulifla walking up to the others with Cabba and Kale at her sides.
"That's not how pokemon battles work." says Kukui.
"I would've beat him on the spot." says Caulifla.
"Good to know but its the pokemon that have to show their strength to show how great a trainer people are." says Kukui sweat dropping.
"I meant in the building." says Rotom dex quizzically.
"Um...I was seeing Molayne off. Yeah, I was with Molayne until he left my side then realized you weren't in the building after running around." says Kukui sweating.
"Hmmmm...you didn't get the chance to see me holding Masked Royal's hand?" wonders Burnet.
"I'm sorry. It dawned on me after leaving your side to say my goodbyes." says Kukui scratching his head.
"Listen up! Masked Royal said 'Thank you!' to me. As he did, he reached out his hand and..." says Burnet brightening up.
"That sounds like a dream turned reality moment." says Kukui.
"Masked Royal is-"
"Kind, strong and cool right?" wonders Kukui.
"Exactly!" says Burnet.
"Your cheers will definitely give me power! Now, shout it out loud!" says Kukui imitating his alter ego.
"I love Masked Royal!" says Burnet happily.
With the lights out, Faba wakes up from being knocked out to find that his limited edition Masked Royal shirt has now been signed.
"Right! My counterattack begins now!" says Faba.
Faba looks around in confusing, seeing noone around him in the darkened room. Faba picks up his shirt and notices it was signed by Masked Royal.
"Huh? YAHOO!" says Faba excitedly.
