A Dance
One morning in Kanoha Hinata was walking down the street. There was a Dance tomorrow and she found she didn't have enough courage to ask Naruto.
"HINATA!" yelled a familiar voice.
"K-Kiba," Hinata stuttered.
"Hinata I keep getting turned down for the dance, and if you say no, I'll be stuck having to ask Shino."
"Um, o-ok Kiba, I'll, I'll go w-with you,"
"Thanks a bunch!"
It had been getting late, and Hinata only just now realized it. She scurried home and off to bed.
The next day she woke up with her violet kimono spread out on her bed. She slipped into it and looked in her mirror. She pulled the top off her lipstick bottle and applied it to her lips. This was traditional, but she saw no use for it. It wasn't like she wanted to kiss or even impress Kiba. He was just her team mate and that was that. Hinata then ran to the academy. (Witch is were the dance is being held)

"Hay! Hinata!" Naruto's voice chimed through the hall.
"N-Naruto."
"Hay! Uh, who ya going to the dance with?" Naruto asked.
"K-Kiba."
"So… you like Kiba." Hinata stared at him. She didn't exactly want Naruto to think she liked Kiba. Naruto started to turn a leave but Hinata's instinct kicked in.
"I DON'T LOVE KIBA, I LOVE YOU!" Hinata stood there for a moment. She went all red in the face and ran the way away from the dance. Actually, she ran strait into Kiba.
"Who Hinata, where's the fire?" Hinata looked at him blankly for a moment.
"I just admitted my feelings to Naruto."
(Back in the hall)
Naruto's mind was still trying to process what Hinata just said.
