We're back and a Happy New Year to all! Hope you folks had a good one and once again, thank you guys so much for the favs, follows and reviews on the story. It really keeps me going and makes me happy folks want to see the Glamrocks get better treatment than what we got. This is where things start to really turn up, so strap yourselves in! By the way, anyone seen that mash up of Van Halen's "Jump" lyrics spliced in with the Opening to Security Breach on YouTube? It fits almost too well. I'd like to imagine the gang would also sing that too. With the amount of money the franchise has made, they may as well get the band to sing it. Come on Steel Wool, get the licence. Give the fans what they want and show Freddy doing the splits while holding the mic. On the subject, I'd love to hear peoples thoughts on the game overall, let me know what you liked and disliked! Meanwhile, let's get back into it.

Enjoy Chapter Three Just A Glitch

My Racingstar Chapter Three

Freddy Fazbear lay seated on his dressing room chair, in his own personal green room, head resting on his cheek, visibly bored.

This had not been a good day for him.

He'd already malfunctioned a few times in the last few weeks but today really took the cake (no pun intended.) The Glamrock bear and his band had already performed two times in the day with massive success like usual but when it came time for the mega show at night, he had broken down once again but this time, in a major way and the poor children witnessed all of it.

He could only imagine the panic and sadness in their eyes as their favourite mascot glitched and phased out on the floor. The last thing he remembered was maybe seeing Chica come running over to help him and that was it. That was just like her. She never liked seeing others in distress, least of all her good friends. He had an idea to thank her later. But when he kept thinking back to right before he began to malfunction, he remembered his vision blaring and his interface warning him of some danger… He tried to remember if there was something else but- "THUD".

Just then he heard a knock on his door. Was it Vanessa again? She'd already come to visit him beforehand, alerting him of the child problem but saying the others and herself would handle it. He would have liked to have seen them to apologise…

A knock again but this time his ears perched up when he heard a familiar voice behind the door. "Freddy, it's me, Roxy. Are you in?"

"Uh, yes, yes. Please wait a moment." Making his way over and opening the door, Freddy beamed as he met Roxy's cheerful, toothed expression. "Roxy, it's wonderful to see you."

The silver wolf acknowledged his pleasure with a grin and proceeded to give the mechanical bear a hug, which he responded in kind. "Hey, big guy. How's it hangin', you feeling any better?" She asked and broke the hug, walking inside as he closed the door by pressing the nearby button.

"Yes, somewhat. I have been able to charge myself up, though not fully yet. I should be better soon though!" Freddy's happy face quickly changed however, "Wait! I am supposed to be on lockdown! Officer Vanessa said I am not to have any visitors during this time!"

Just like the big lug. Always dedicated to the regulations alongside their favourite overachieving Daycare Attendant… Goodness knows what would happen if he went scuttling about.

Roxy gave her bandmate a reassuring pat on the shoulder while chuckling, "Realised that a bit too late Fred. Besides, Van can't blame me for wanting to visit my good friend now, can she? I don't think she'll be too bothered either. I've been really worried about you like the others." The silver wolf said sincerely.

Freddy's expression downed some. "The others. I trust they are in alright spirits too?"

"Haven't gotten a chance to see them yet since downtime." Her eyes shifted slightly but Freddy didn't take any notice.

What she said was in fact a lie…

On her way to Rockstar Row, in the main Atrium, the Glamrock wolf had briefly glimpsed Chica and Monty leaving their respective shows and roaming around on the first and third floor respectively. However, when she called out to them, they didn't even seem to acknowledge her. Chica didn't look right at all from what she could make out.

Her face was stuck out, crooked to the right, her shoulders slumped on either side, with her arms hanging off and Monty just looked like a big creeper with how he was hunched and had his claws looking like he was ready to maim somebody.

The creepiest thing was the way they suddenly stopped and then jerked to one direction in disassembled synchronisation, it unnerved the Glamrock wolf. They looked like zombies for lack of a better term but she didn't have time to dwell on that, she had to see Freddy. If there was something up with them, she'd find out later. Maybe they were just trying to act intimidating to catch Gregory but deep down, Roxy had a feeling that wasn't true at all...

Brushing these thoughts away, Roxy went to relax. "If I may?" She asked.

"Oh, please." Freddy welcomed her to sit down.

"Thanks." She carefully took some of the merch and accessories off the little star shaped table next to the couch, relaxed on it and kicked her feet up. "But don't worry about the guys. They're just doing their rounds." She hung her arms round the back.

"I see." Freddy looked slightly dismayed by the news but then his face turned more serious. "I take it those rounds would be patrol duty? I heard there was a child that had stayed back over hours."

The Glamrock wolf's face narrowed. "Yeah… About that… I've actually met the kid myself and was just escorting him out."

"You did that without alerting Vanessa?! Roxy, what about-"

Roxy quickly stopped her friend. "Hold on now man. I was just getting to that. We had fifteen minutes before lockdown but Van said she was extending the search period but as we got to the entrance, the doors suddenly shut on us before the kid could leave. There was no reasoning. It just happened. Isn't that just a bit weird?"

"That is strange. But more importantly Roxy, you just let the child off?" Freddy folded his arms disapprovingly.

Roxy receded her arms and feet, sitting forward as she did so. "Freddy. The kid isn't that bad. There is a reason why he's been avoiding and sneaking around the complex. That's also the reason I've come to see you. I think there's something else going on here right now."

"Like what?"

"I haven't got all the answers yet but the kid is pretty scared about something and he's not faking it trust me. He was actually going to hide in your room before he chose mine."

"Hide? Whatever for?"

"That's the thing, Gregory, the kid, said there was this sort of rabbit hanging around the place... Sorry as well Freddy... You know I didn't mean-"

"I understand. Please continue." Freddy interrupted. Roxy silently kicked herself for almost mentioning their previous bandmate but continued.

"So, Gregory was trying to get away from this bunny or whatever because it was after him for some reason. He was about to hide in here, when he saw it prowling around. Now, did you see anything suspicious, since you have been cooped up in here for the last few hours?"

"No. Not at all. I would have definitely heard movement outside."

Roxy was lost and bewildered by this. "Was the kid just tellin' fibs… That couldn't be righ-"

"But…" Freddy spoke out. "There was something peculiar that happened a while back. Say half an hour ago, give or take. I thought I did hear a noise outside in the row but when I looked out to check, there was nothing there. However, my vision did feel a bit blurry."

Roxy's brow shot up. "Was it like a sort of hazy feeling? Like you couldn't really see, a sensation of almost being blind?" She asked hastily.

Freddy nodded in surprise. "Yes. Yes. How did you know?"

"Cause I've had a similar feeling before. Many times, in fact. This proves the kid was right about something." Roxy looked grim.

"Roxy, you haven't been speaking to Monty through the walls again, have you? S.T.A.F.F. warned you about that remember?"

"What? No! FYI, I've only done it twice in the last week. I was bored man. There's only so much fun you can get out of chilling in your room for hours on end during downtime. Besides, it's a new record since last I did it. Anyway, getting back on track here-"

"You're telling pun jokes now. Good for you!" Freddy stated happily.

"What? No! It's a figure of speech-" He could be so dense sometimes but it was one of the quirks she loved about the big guy but her expression quickly turned serious. "Right, listen Freddy. I need you to think back to our last show. I know it must be hard but concentrate man. You saw something in the crowd, didn't you? This could be the clue to what's causing the problems around here."

The Glamrock bear shook his head. "I can't remember. I'm sorry Roxy. My memory is too fuzzy."

Roxy stood up and took both of Freddy's hands into hers. "Freddy, you need to remember. It's really important. The kid could be in some serious danger and I think this also links up with these weird happenings that have been going on these past few months."

"You're saying they might be connected?"

"Yes. Please remember. What did you see when you looked out in front of the crowd? Concentrate man."

"I...I can't remember..." He shook his head dismayed but then, his expression lit up. "No... Hold on... Right after my warning sign came up on my interface... Right before I was about to sing… I thought I could see someone... They were out of place in the crowd and..." Freddy suddenly stopped talking and let go of Roxanne's hands. A hint of light seemed to pass over his eyes.

"And? Go on, what did you see?" Roxy's words didn't resonate with the mechanical bear, who didn't respond at all.

"Freddy...?" No response still but Roxy could see... It was the same look she'd saw in the others… That blank stare… Whatever it was… it had gotten him too… "No... Not you too..." She managed out.

Freddy then turned away and began to walk in the other direction. He pressed the button to his door and merely stood in the doorway. Finally, he responded. "Sorry Roxy. But duty calls… I need to find the child... I must... I need to find the child... I-I have to find Gregory…"

With that stuttered response and before Roxy could say anything, other than, "Freddy…?" the brown bear in question had already walked out the door and the metal cover shut behind him.

If this was a bad dream, Roxanne wanted to wake up now…

It was just like Chica and Monty before. What in the world was going on? Something had gotten inside her friends… She didn't know who, she didn't know what… But one thing was for certain. Gregory. This might be what they wanted. To separate them both! In that quick thought, Roxy suddenly got a direct call. "{Roxy! Roxy! Are you there!}" The kid was in trouble… She had to get back to Gregory before the others did.

Still resting in the entrance off to the left, without warning, Gregory heard a loud noise and something that sounded like it was powering down, he opened his eyes to his shock to see the area was now pitch black.

What just happened? Was there a protocol on the Pizzeria he didn't know about?

Gregory narrowed his sight to focus his flashlight on something in the shape of a cylinder. What were these things called? Power Generators? He'd seen them scattered all over the place around the whole Pizzeria. Occasionally seeing one or two of the mascots entering them. It must have been to charge them up. He wondered if Roxy was alright on it?

Slightly unnerved by his new surroundings, Gregory got up and made up his mind to maybe find a place that had a light source of some kind. The whole place couldn't be in darkness, could it?

Before he could get a few steps from where he was seated however, Gregory heard something giggling from above. He mustered the courage to look up without the flashlight to see something he wished he shouldn't have seen, a sort of moon figure was grinning down at him. What was up with this place?

"Gregory..." All of a sudden, Gregory thought he heard a voice but this one was different and also familiar. It had to be that voice he'd heard minutes ago but it couldn't be the thing hunting him now, he wasn't sure if he was hallucinating.

The youth gathered his wits and began to sneak stealthy away from the moon shaped, faced thing, hoping if he was silent it wouldn't try to get him when, "It's me..." The voice was close enough to be right next to him. He was definitely not hallucinating and Gregory let out a small shout, trying to keep it in as best he could. Unfortunately, that was all that was needed for the grinning Moon to spring out and lock onto the young man.

"I found youuuu." It almost sang and scuttling could now be heard.

Confused, disoriented and scared, Gregory couldn't see anything even with his flashlight handy but quickly looked down at his watch and tapped it repeatedly. A beep was heard and static and not caring if he was connected, he shouted into it "Roxy! Roxy! Are you there!" He didn't get anymore words out sadly, as the crawling monster had landed right in front of him. His red glowing eyes and eerie smile, making Gregory wish he was actually having a nightmare.

From what he could make out, the moon was an animatronic of some kind. Gregory remembered seeing posters about a sort of Daycare and a carer of some kind and this guy seemed to fit the description, only he wasn't a sun.

He seemed to be a sort of jester or clown-themed animatronic with a head bearing the likeness of a grinning crescent moon. On his head, he wore a sleeping cap that was blue in colour and pattered with bright yellow stars which gleamed in the dark, the end of the cap was also decorated with a golden bell. He had puffy blue pants decorated by yellow stars similar to his cap, which explained the light Gregory could see coming off the guy before.

The youth had of found it cool, if the thing wasn't trying to hurt him and it seemed this was it for him, as it had him cornered.

Moon savoured the child's fear, before going in for the final scare. "Nighty, night. Nasty boy!" But before the jester animatronic could do anything, he suddenly jolted to a stop and began reeling from pain. Almost like an invisible shock had hit his body. Gregory meanwhile, could see his vision phasing in and out, with a strange sound buzzing in his ears. What was going on but his heart stopped a beat when he heard an all too familiar voice…

"Now, now. That wasn't very fun. Was is it Mr. Moon?" Another pair of red eyes creepily slid out from behind the mechanical humanoid.

It was her… The whatever it was trying to hunt him down throughout the entire day. She seemed to be a girl but he didn't quite know or wanna know.

Shining his flashlight on her, it confirmed his horror. She wore a large rabbit costume that was mostly white, but it had patches and stitches all over made of differently coloured and patterned fabrics. The suit also had large red eyes that glowed in the dark which he'd unfortunately found out now, along with a light blue ribbon tied around the neck as an accessory. She was no Freddy Fazbear that was for sure.

She'd actually introduced herself to him in the early Morning when he'd snuck in and was playing one of the many arcades. He thought she was just part of the attraction and was doing the usual stick all the mascots do.

They'd had a few rounds and she was genuinely really nice to him as they played but that's what slowly creeped him out. Well, that and the outfit she wore. She was almost being too nice. It was when she invited him to the back for a special prize for getting a lot of high scores on the machines that she tried to make a grab for him but he'd seen what she was going to do beforehand thanks to a mirror reflection when he went to eat some candy, she'd offered him as a reward.

She wasn't happy… at all. That's when she pulled the knife on him. A couple of chases and hide and seek throughout the whole day and here we are now.

Recovering from the spike in his mind, the Daycare Attendant gazed round at his recent new master in slight fear. It was so jarring to Gregory. This was completely different to how he was a few moments ago. "But… But… I can't go back… He has to be taught a- Garghhhhhhh!" The humanoid droid grabbed his body in pain again, this time falling onto the floor, as Gregory heard a small sound coming from the thing the bunny had just brought out from one of her hidden pockets. It seemed to be a sort of touch pad and it glowed a slightly bluish colour in the shape of a bear, contrasting the blood red glow of the rabbit's eyes.

"That's enough for today. Go back to the Daycare now." She said sweetly but you could see even with a mask there was ice in her words.

"W-Why did you do that to him? Isn't he just trying to help you?" Gregory shouted at her, all the while; Moon glanced up at the scared boy with a dazed expression.

"He's more a hinderance than help." She sneered and pressed her pad again, which gave Moon another seizure in pain.

"Stop it! He's not doing anything!" Gregory didn't like the thing that just tried to terrify and attack him but he really hated seeing all this misery.

"Back. Now!" She commanded.

The Daycare Attendant obeyed, as he painfully nodded in compliance and scuttled away up the escalator and to and through the double doors leading to the Daycare Centre on the right but not before giving one last look at Gregory in perceptive amenity.

The newcomer then took a deep breath to calm herself and then went back to her chipper self, putting away her tablet as she did so but not before turning the lights back on finally showing her familiar outfit that hadn't changed since he'd last seen it and also he'd barely moved from his spot before. "See? I'm not so bad after all am I?" The weird glitching had stopped as well but...

"No… you are… You tried to kidnap me… and then you pulled out a knife…" Gregory backed away from her.

"What? You mean this?" She pulled out the very thing he was terrified of. "This is just an insurance policy. Don't worry about it. I think we got off to a bad start before. I didn't even tell you my name either! I'm Vanny." Vanny did a small twirl as she said her name, putting her sharp weapon away as she did so.

"W-What do you want from me…?" Gregory asked. Petrified.

"What I want, what I want, what I want." She began singing and twirling but then eerily stopped and peered down at the scared boy. "What I want Gregory, is YOU. You're very special. Not just to me but to someone very important but that's a secret. Can you keep a secret Gregory? Come closer and I'll whisper it to you." She began to loom ever nearer to him.

But by this point, the boy wasn't listening and gathering his courage, delivered a well timed kick to the rabbit girl's shins.

She let out a yelp and went to grab the youth who was quicker and pushed her down, then made a break for it. "GREGORY! YOU GET BACK HERE RIGHT NOW!" She screamed after him.

Seeing one of the two stores on the right and left, Gregory made for the closest on the left which held the main reception, careful to avoid the two security bots patrolling and crouched behind the corner.

But then he could see her again, with those red eyes of hers bobbling up and down. She was dancing again but he couldn't be sure if what she was doing was a dance and he didn't want to be sure, as he kept taking quick glances just so he knew where she was.

"Gregory, your friends are worried about you. They're here with me. Please, come out. Gregory, I may have lost my temper earlier but it was just a glitch. It won't happen again. It's been such a difficult day for all of us. Why don't you come out and we can play a game together. It won't happen again. It was just a glitch." There was that hazy feeling again, though not as strong as before.

After a few moments, Vanny appeared to have stopped moving but he saw that she had her touch pad in hand once again. "Have it your way then. I can wait. We've got alllll the time in the world little man. But just as an insurance policy." She repeated again and Gregory then heard a loud alert noise come from one of the nearby security bots and when he went to look back outside in the hub, Vanny was nowhere to be seen.

There was silence for a moment but then, he could hear very loud footsteps but it sounded more like thumping sounds. Not wanting to find out what they were or caring if the white rabbit was still around, Gregory dashed outside the shop, through the gates and into the open but that proved to be a mistake.

"Gregoryyy." He heard a voice call out and he spotted it in the form of Chica who had just made her way through the east doors. She hadn't quite seen him yet thanks to an able pillar he was behind. He didn't even want to know how she knew his name but he could assume Vanny had told them about him.

"Hey, kid come on out. We're only trying to help." Another voice called out. Gregory could only assume that belonged to Montgomery Gator or Monty. He sounded more further up, round at the elevators maybe. They weren't acting the same as he knew them earlier. She'd done something to both mascots, he knew that for a fact.

"There you areeee." Gregory snapped back into reality when he saw a twitching Chica just staring at him, only a few feet away. "This area is off limits... Are you lost...? Don't worry. You're safe with me... Your family is looking for you Gregory... Let me take you to your parents... Your parents want you to follow me..." She said those in a very discombobulated way.

"Thanks for reminding me I don't have any..." Gregory snapped back at the chicken, who for a single moment, twitched almost in reproach but quickly it was taken over by blankness once more.

"...How about we play a game? Let's play tag..." She began to creep over to him. "Tag! YOU'RE IT!" She then charged for him but Gregory was faster and began to scramble away. "I'm only trying to help!" She called after him.

"No, you're not! You want to take me to her!" He received no reply as he kept running.

"Lost boy over here!" The mechanical chicken called out which quickly alerted Monty.

"Let's rock!" The Glamrock gator sounded off as he joined the chase, which forced Gregory into the middle section between the shops and elevators linked by the escalators.

"Can't you say anything other than catchphrases?!" He shouted back.

"Rock and Roll!" Monty replied.

"Guess that's a no then!" Giving them the run around for a bit, Gregory could hear himself panting for breath. He was getting tired... This wasn't good. How long could he hold them off?

Fortunately, help arrived when the elevator suddenly opened and he heard a familiar voice call out. "Greg! Are you still there! Talk to me!"

"Yes! I'm here! But they're here too!" He shouted back.

"Try and get up here to the elevator!" Fortunately Gregory noticed that Chica and Monty were distracted by the newly arrived, Roxanne's voice.

"R-Roxy...?" Chica twitched.

Gregory saw his chance and sprinted as fast as he could up the escalator and made his way into the elevator. The animatronics quickly followed suit but before they could get in, the doors had shut and both had escaped.

"That was close..." Roxy breathed a sigh of relief. "You okay Greg? Whoa!" The animatronic felt a wave of impact as the kid held onto her tightly.

"I thought I was done for…" He whimpered, while deepening the hug.

Roxy realised his distress and began slowly rubbing his head that began thankfully calming him down. "I'm sorry I was late. I shouldn't have left you but it's okay now. You're safe with me and I'm not leaving you again alright?"

Gregory looked up at the silver wolf, relieved. "Okay." And let go but not before falling on his backside.

"Greg what's wrong?" The Glamrock wolf asked worryingly.

"Nothing… I just… need to catch my breath…"

"No wonder. Seems like you've been through the ringer kid."

The panting child nodded. "Yeah… but thanks Roxy…" Roxy once more could feel her face plates get warmer but more importantly, the elevator had stopped in the main Atrium once again and they needed a place to rest up. The others would quickly find a way into the current section in no time.

"Hate to get you on your feet again Greg but we have to keep moving. Don't worry. I've got just the place for us to hide in." She helped the boy up to his feet and out into the giant party room. Three different floors housing a wide array of attractions, prizes and of course the main show stage itself but the one that Roxy was eyeing, was her very own "Roxy Raceway."

She looked down and could see the kid was practically exhausted but then, an idea came to her, though it made her feel a bit embarrassed. If it was for the kid though, he'd more than earned it.

Crouching down to a small level, Roxy turned her back to the youth. "Alright Greg. I'm only gonna do this once but if you could do me a favour. Hop on my back for me."

"I… What… Why?" He asked, bewildered by the request.

"Well, look at you. You're shattered and I'm not a monster as to let a kid blow out a lung, so hop to it and get on, before I change my mind. This pose is embarrassing enough for me." Roxy hurried him with a slightly flustered look.

Gregory quickly complied and did a small jump, climbing slightly onto her hair. With how thick it was, you could almost hide in it like a bush. "Keep your arms tied around my neck but if that doesn't work, just hold onto my hair so you don't fall off now, alright?" She said back to him and also took his flashlight so he could better hold on.

"Okay." He said back to her while giving her hair a quick feel test. It was surprisingly soft but a bit prickly.

"And hey, don't get it messy. It takes a lot of work to make it look the way it does. No hair conditioner needed."

"It smells nice." Gregory complimented.

"Thanks! I use a special kind of oil polish. Makes it extra freshy like. Chica used to… Anyway, hold on tight now. If you get sick at all, I'll try to find a spot so we can take five."

The young man nodded which Roxy replied back with a nod of her own. "Right. Here we go!" The Glamrock wolf got on all fours like before and set off.

Luckily, in the short time they made their way to Roxy's Raceway, Gregory hadn't gotten sick at all and actually enjoyed the ride, bumpy though it was.

About twenty minutes passed after they had made it into the hallway leading into Roxy's own course, Gregory was resting near the entryway and Roxy had gone to charge herself up in one of the nearby generator chambers due to it being a while since her last top up. She then walked back through the entry door after the metal vail lifted.

"How you holding up tough guy?" She asked as she sat down next to him.

"Better." He responded nonchalantly. Observing the neon lights decorating the corridor. They were nice he would admit, along with the mantled tires, racecars and wheels but he had bigger stuff on his mind.

"Hm. Good. Sorry that this isn't much of a place to hide. My Raceway is still under repairs due to my little quirk about wanting to get a bit too involved in my own activities. Force of habit I admit." She gave a light laugh but ceased, when she noticed Gregory's still downed expression. She gave him a gentle nudge. "You sure everything's okay? You look like you have a lot on your mind."

Gregory suddenly spoke out. "We have to do something... They're not going to stop hunting me. They're going to bring me to her..."

More on that rabbit girl again Roxy surmised. "Let me guess, you ran into her again and she brought Chica and Monty too and they weren't acting the same..."

"Yeah... Along with that Moon, Daycare guy. She almost got me this time... I don't know what she wants... It can't be good... She chased me around with a knife too...!"

The mechanical wolf's eyes widened. "A knife?! That's a definite no, no..." This was more than just some weirdo in a costume, she was a potential criminal too… "And you think she's done something to the guys...?"

"Yeah..." He replied sadly. He knew what it meant for Roxy.

"...I believe you Greg. Being honest, there's been all sorts of weird stuff happening for the last couple months around here... Maybe whoever this is, might be responsible." She laid her head low. "Freddy… is also not acting the same now."

"Freddy too?! No…" Gregory couldn't believe it.

"Sad to say, it's true. I spoke to him for a bit before whatever took over him. I didn't want to stop him in case it caused us to tussle, he's already been through enough as is and… he's my friend… and now Vanessa seems to have disappeared." Roxy had another thought at the back of her head about the security guard but she dared not think too hard. They still were mostly in the dark on this.

"What are we going to do?" Gregory looked up at Roxy for a solution.

"First… I want my friends back to normal. I'm not leaving them like this... If they... if they stay like this, S.T.A.F.F. might deem them unsuitable and... I don't want it to be like Bonnie... I don't want to be left alone..." Her voice slightly shook at the end.

The young boy felt for Roxy. It looked like she was almost gonna start crying. "I want us to stay together... play our songs... make children happy..." Roxy covered her face with her eyes to hide any sign of weakness.

But then she could feel something touch her eyes and opened them to see Gregory's hopeful smile. "Don't start crying. Crying doesn't suit a tough girl like you... Wouldn't you say? Let's get them all back together. I'm sure we can do it. We'll find a way." Roxy couldn't help but chuckle and she ruffled the kid's hair affectionally.

"Little squirt. Throwing my words back at me huh? I'm sorry Greg... I'm emotional about this stuff... I hope that's okay?" Her face looked hesitant.

"Of course it is. I get emotional too... It's annoying but there's nothing wrong with showing your feelings Roxy." Roxanne gave the boy a generous smile and he returned it with understanding. The silver haired wolf quickly got back up and helped the young youth up to his feet once again.

"Thanks Greg... I really needed that and after thinking about it. I think there's a way we can restore them back to themselves. From what we can tell, this is something digital that's gotten to them. I don't wanna open up their cranium to have a look inside cause that would be very dangerous and neither one of us is qualified on that front but what we can do, is shut them down manually and cause a system reboot."

"How do we do that?" Gregory asked.

"Earlier today, after the botched show, I had a sort of glitch with my main display interface and I did exactly that. Felt fine afterwards. Maybe that's why I'm unaffected. Freddy as well after his reboot, since it seemed to take longer to affect him after the fact, so I think it can work... I dunno how long it'll last but if we can get all three of them down to Parts 'n Service, we can reboot them and they should be put back into safe mode. Then we can deal with Vanny. That's her name, isn't it?" She remembered Gregory mentioning it to her before they rested.

Gregory nodded on both accounts. "I'm also good at fixing things so I could maybe give a try rewiring them if it comes to that. I'm sort of… good with wires."

"I appreciate that we have that on the deck Greg but I don't want you to get hurt. We'll leave that for a last resort if the first idea doesn't work out. That sound good?" There was technically a third solution but Roxy really didn't want to mention that either.

"I understand." He complied.

"Now... just how we go about this... I have no clue..." The Glamrock wolf pondered.

"Um... I have an idea... You're not going to like it though..." Gregory looked away from Roxy.

"Well, anything is better than nothing, shoot."

"W-We… um… knock them out?" He said hesitantly, meeting her eyes.

Surprisingly Roxy wasn't giving him any bad looks on it. "I hate to say it... but it looks like we're gonna have to do exactly that to get them to come round. From how I saw them earlier they seem completely blank and you saw the same thing?"

"Yeah. I don't think words are going to do anything. But there was a moment where Chica did recognise you before I ran into the elevator?"

"At least that means she's still in there somewhere… Right, we should probably get on…" Roxy sighed and knelt down and took the child's flashlight once again. "I hate that it has to come to this but it can't be helped."

"Who are we going for first?" Gregory asked as he hopped back on Roxy's back and she got into her usual all fours position.

"We're going for Chica."

Yes, yes. Freddy has turned bad. Will Roxy and Gregory be able to free him like the others? We'll have to see! I hope you enjoyed Roxy's interaction with the big man himself too. It was my most favourite part to write. I took inspiration from the fact in game, Freddy is horrified that the new eyes you give him are Roxy's and on that, I'm still reeling from how horrible the animatronics get busted up in the final stages of the game. Gregory you're a cruel kid, I get you've had to fend for yourself and all that but come on man, the way you put that extra bit of brutality into punishing the three mascots is overkill. But I digress. Also, as you can see, our favourite demented rabbit is in after making a cameo in the last chapter, since she's barely in the main game itself, which is a big bummer but with the power of DLC, that could all change like the other cut content not currently in it! See you guys soon. Review at your leisure and have a good one!
