Me: Am I sorry for taking this long? I'm not saying anything.
The main reason this chapter took a while to come out was that I didn't know what to put out in this chapter. And I was stuck.
And I got sidetracked by many other things and stories.
Sorry, but here it is! Enjoy!
Vision or Dream - *Talking*
Cybertronian speaking - "Talking"
Comm Link Bot/Con/Human/Over Video - "talking"
Somewhere
Abelia groaned, rubbing her head. She opened her eyes and gasped. The world around her was filled with soft blue colors along with white and black. The three colors blended together to create a beautiful sight.
"Oh wow," Abelia breathed.
"I agree. This is beautiful." Gasping, Abelia turned and blinked. Optimus was standing next to her, but his height was that of a human, his optics meeting her eyes.
"Optimus," Abelia asked, reaching out with her bond. Optimus smiled, reaching out the same, sending reassuring waves to Abelia.
"It's me, Abelia."
Abelia laughed, stepping towards her new brother and looking him over. It was so much easier to see the details on Optimus that she couldn't see at their normal heights.
"Well, you are now at my level it seems," Abelia smirked, "Or I am at yours."
Optimus laughed, looking down at himself. "It appears so. I do believe they chose to have us the same height for you since you are smaller than us all."
Abelia made a confused sound, tilting her head in her confusion. "They?"
"That would be us."
Startled, Abelia and Optimus turned to see three figures appear. Two of them were mechs that looked alike and the other was a femme. One mech was silver with blue optics while the other was gold with green optics. The femme's optics were a soft red color, not the glaring red of Decepticons, but a flower. She was silver as well, but she had stripes of white thin metal around her that reminded Abelia of fabric.
The silver mech looked at Optimus and smiled, "Hello Orion. Nice to see you again."
"Oh," Optimus breathed, looking at the three of them in shock. Abelia looked between the three of them and Optimus, confused. Just what was going on?
"I'm confused. Who are you," Abelia asked, looking back at the mechs and femme.
The silver mech chuckled, "Sorry for your confusion. I am Primus. This is my brother Unicron and sister Prima."
Abelia blinked once, then twice. "Oh."
Prima giggled, "Sorry, but we wanted to talk to the both of you. It's been a while since we had a Prime and Vessel."
"Wait, so me and Optimus getting dizzy just now, that was you," Abelia exclaimed, pointing at them, the knowledge that they were the Cybertronian Gods and Goddess not sinking in yet.
"Yes. A side effect of us contacting you," Unicron huffed, crossing his arms, "We waited till you were done with that meeting to call you to us."
Abelia let knowledge flow in and once it did, she was only one thing. Now, some people would be amazed that a God or Goddess appeared before them, much less three of them. They would feel afraid of saying the wrong thing or feel undeserving of being in their presence. Some would feel honored. But there were those few who would feel anger at the sight of the God or Goddess in front of them.
And Abelia was angry.
"You couldn't have waited a couple more seconds," Abelia hissed, glaring at the three of them. Primus, Unicron, Prima, and Optimus stared at Abelia in shock and surprise, her anger surprising them. "I was near stairs. I was about to walk down them. If Will didn't catch me, I would have fallen down them and gotten seriously hurt. So really, you couldn't have waited a couple more seconds for me to walk down the freaking stairs? Would that have been so hard?"
Abelia didn't yell, but her words were filled with anger that showed just how mad she was. Optimus, getting over his shock that Abelia was scolding his world's Gods and Goddess, seemed to realize this as well. He gave the three of them a frown. "Abelia is right. She could have gotten hurt with how high those stairs are."
The godlike beings looked sheepish.
"I guess we could have waited," Prima stated, looking guilty, "We were a little excited to have a Vessel and a Prime."
"You guess," Abelia muttered, still a bit put out.
"Why have we been contacted," Optimus asked, wanting his sister to put aside her anger for the moment to focus on why they were called.
"It's been a while since we had a worthy chosen to the Allspark's power," Primus stated.
"Your heart and soul both yearned to save and protect your friends. The Allspark gifted you its power," Unicron said, looking Abelia up and down with criticizing eyes. Abelia raised her eyebrows at him.
"Seeing why you were chosen, I had to see the worthy vessel of the power, " Prima said, "And your bond with Optimus is so sweet!"
Abelia sighed, smiling a little. "Well, Optimus does care about me. And I couldn't let Megatron get the Allspark. I was just so tired of running, I had to do something."
Prima smiled, opening her mouth to speak when Unicron spoke before her.
"I don't see why you favor her," Unicron said to his sister, turning his gaze from Abelia to the Goddess, "You didn't favor our other sister."
Prima glared at Unicron, "I did favor her!"
"Did you? You favored the masses more than her feelings!"
"Prima, Unicron, let's not start this now," Primus jumped in, stepping between the two with his hands up between them.
"Yes now! We don't talk to each other anymore so I want to know! Why did our sister favor our little sister less than she deserved? We lost her because of this!"
"We couldn't have known-"
"We were warned!"
"You didn't listen," Primus exclaimed.
"No one did! The point is that we should have!"
"Are we going to have this argument every time I seem to like someone and favor them," Prima asked, looking at her brothers.
Abelia and Optimus looked at each other, alarmed. They had backed away from the three, looking between them as the fight went on. It was clear that three had some hard tension between them.
"Optimus, what's going on," Abelia whispered, stepping closer to her brother. Optimus stepped in front of her, acting like a shield should the gods start exchanging blows.
"I don't know," Optimus said, confused.
"We could have saved her," Unicron roared, "But no, Creation and Life just can't allow Destruction, much less Decay, to their roles. Our sister is lost and it's your fault!"
"Enough," Abelia burst in, stepping past Optimus and towards the godlike beings. She walked forward and stepped between the arguing gods. They looked at her in shock, not expecting her to step between them, much less an angry look on her face.
"You are acting like children," Abelia stated, pointing at Primus and Unicron, "Now, I don't know what is going on, but clearly, fighting is not going to work for you."
Unicron glared at her, "Who are you to judge-"
"I don't know enough of my other half's history to judge, but I do know this," Abelia replied, staring hard at Unicron, "Humans have written stories and have created movies and in these certain stories and movies, Creation and Destruction always seem to be fighting. Creation - good, Destruction - bad. It's never the other way around. They don't work together.
But Destruction ain't evil, it's those who misuse it that make it that way just how Creation can be used for evil instead of good. Creation and Destruction are two sides of a whole, two sides of the same coin. You can't exist without each other so work together damn it! You need each other to be balanced!"
Primus and Unicron seemed to freeze upon looking at Abelia. Optimus was looking at her in shock, but he was also looking at her in awe and pride. Abelia could feel just how proud Optimus was of her.
Abelia, tired of yelling and fighting after the past couple of days and the godlike brother's argument, walked back over to Optimus. Optimus wrapped his arms around her, sensing that she was tired.
Prima looked sad for some reason throughout Abelia's little speech. But she looked away and looked at her brothers, who were now looking at each other. Primus and Unicron both appeared to be drained.
"I guess we should talk. We are overdue," Primus stated.
Unicron gave a tired sigh, "Yeah, we are."
Primus and Unicron gave each other a small smile which grew, then the two started laughing. Prima sighed, looking at her brothers. She turned and looked at Abelia.
"Thanks. You snapped them out of it. They've been going on like this for centuries. They just might talk to each other now, and me," Prima said.
Abelia shrugged, leaning into Optimus's hold, "You called us here for something. I want to know that besides witnessing an argument behind two gods."
Prima blinked, then seemed to remember why they called Optimus and Abelia in the first place.
"Oh yes," Prima exclaimed, getting her brother's attention by hitting them both on the head, "We wanted to give you both something."
Abelia and Optimus glanced at each other, moving apart reluctantly to stand before the three godlike beings.
"Why," Optimus asked, surprised.
"Abelia's will to protect you and your Autobots and save her new friends made the Allspark see that she is a worthy Vessel and protector to the Allspark's power," Primus explained.
"Not gonna lie, but I see why. You carry something that goes beyond fire when you went against the Decepticons," Unicron stated.
Abelia raised an eyebrow at the god, "Didn't you hate me a couple of minutes ago?"
Unicron shrugged, "Gonna keep appearances."
Abelia snorted and Optimus coughed, resisting the urge to laugh. They glanced at each other amused. Unicron basically said he liked Abelia's fighting spirit.
"And Optimus being willing enough to give his life to save the human race made us see that he is worthy of his own power," Prima said, "Call it a gift to both of you."
Abelia and Optimus reacted in surprise, looking at each other.
"Power, gift" Optimus echoed.
"Both of us," Abelia followed.
"Yes. We want to give Abelia the add-ons to our blessings and gift Optimus his own Prime power," Prima continued, looking at Abelia and Optimus with a smile.
Abelia and Optimus looked at each other, shocked.
"What do you mean by add-ons and powers," Abelia asked, looking back at the godlike beings.
Primus stepped forward, gesturing to Optimus with his hand, "Optimus, you already possess intelligence from your years as Leader of the Autobots and your time as a Clerk. This makes you aware of the past and calculates your choices in the battle.
But you have we wanted to give you the power of Telekinesis. Not all Primes have this power. Only one did and well, that is a story for another time. If you choose to have this ability, you will have to practice how to use it. There is no consequences if you decide to say no."
Prima turned to Abelia after Primus finished with Optimus.
"You already have the ability Seer Sight, the ability to be aware of the events from the past, present, future," Primus spoke, but seemed to grow quieter as she spoke. She seemed to be sad for some reason.
Unicron, seeing his sister unable to speak, took over. "You called forth three sides of the Allspark when you fight against Megatron. We wanted to give you the add-ons that go with the blessings."
Abelia breathed out a shocked gasp, "But, the Allspark..."
"Has more than one side. The Allspark has four sides it powers, powers that my siblings and I control. As the Vessel, you have control over them as well. You just have three out of the four," Primus tells her.
"Three out of four," Optimus repeated.
The three shifted, uncomfortable. Unicron spoke, "A story for another time."
Abelia and Optimus looked at each other.
"What are the blessings and add on's. I mean, what can they do," Abelia asked.
"The add-ons are Supernatural Strike, Durability, and Reflexes. My blessing, the Blessing of Life will allow you to create life and sparks, even heal, through creating new sparks will not be easy. But you can take old sparks from the Well of Sparks to put them in new bodies. The add-on to this is Supernatural Reflexes, which will allow you to react faster, from dodging offensives attacks, or just random things coming your way," Prima said.
"My blessing is the Blessing of Creation. Like before in your fight with Megatron, you created a shield, blade, cannon, and a battle mask. You can create anything when you practice but will take energy. It is easier to destroy than create. You can recreate or create new bodies when with this power. The add-on to this blessing is Supernatural Durability. Bullets, punctures, concussions, and physical attacks will hurt you less, and maybe not at all," Primus stated.
"My blessing is the Blessing of Destruction. You can destroy anything, like how you killed Megatron by blowing out his spark. However, you can't destroy a body, only Decay can do that. But Destruction is the side most used when handling threats of the Allspark, or any threat at all. The add-on is Supernatural Strike. Striking and attacking will be a lot easier for you, as you can see where to hit and where to aim, like with how you killed Megatron. These are mostly used when fighting back," Unicron explained.
Abelia shook her head, thinking everything over. "Why me? Why would you give these blessings?"
"You were willing to give your life for the Autobots. That's why the Allspark choose you," Prima said, "And Optimus, you were willing to give your life not just for her, but for the soldiers you befriended and for the rest of Earth. You are worthy of this power. The choice, however, lies on you."
Abelia and Optimus glanced at each other. Optimus gestured with his head that he wanted to speak to Abelia away from the three. Abelia nodded and followed Optimus away from them, moving a distance away to talk privately. Abelia glanced back and saw that Prima, Primus, and Unicron were in the middle of their own conversation. Abelia sighed, crossing her arms as Optimus stood in front of her. Optimus gave her a comforting smile.
"This is...unexpected," Optimus admitted.
"Ya think," Abelia snorted, raising an eyebrow at Optimus, "A couple of hours ago, everything seemed simple."
Optimus placed his hands on Abelia shoulder's, steadying her as emotions and feelings swarmed him from Abelia's side of the bond and as she began to sway, hugging herself. He looked at her, worried.
"What is the matter," Optimus asked.
Abelia let out a shuttering breath as she looked at Optimus, tears beginning to come to her eyes.
"Optimus, I believed I was a full human all my life. Now, I find out that I'm only half-human and that I'm half Cybertronian as well. I don't know if I'm a Half-breed or a Hybrid. We don't even know how I am what I am. It's world-changing. I don't know if I belong here or if I'll belong on Cybertron. Add on the fact I am a Seer and Allspark and I got disowned and killed Megatron. I killed someone. I may bring a good fight, but I don't think I can take a life. Everything that has happened has finally settled in my mind and I feel so..so overwhelmed and...lost."
Optimus didn't waste any time in pulling Abelia close, hugging her. It felt weird, Abelia thought as she hugged Optimus back, feeling metal instead of skin. Optimus was careful not to pinch her skin and was careful not to hug her too tight. Optimus felt his spark break at hearing Abelia sob quietly.
"I know how you feel," Optimus told her, "The day I became Optimus Prime changed everything for me. It was a while after Megatron almost killed me, but when I became Prime, it finally settled in my mind what he almost did and the fact that I was leading the Autobots. Ironhide and Ratchet found me, along with Elita-One and Alpha Trion. They were able to help me through it, so now, I'm going to help you."
Optimus gently pulled Abelia away from him and lifted her head with his hand, his metal fingers holding her cheek and rubbing away tears as they fell. He sent feelings of love and reassurance through their bond, getting Abelia to open her eyes.
"Your world may have changed forever, but I am right here. Don't worry about not belonging on Earth or Cybertron because I will be right there. You may not belong because you fit in. A child of two worlds means a whole lot. As for being a Seer and the Allspark, you got me and the other Autobots to help you. We are not leaving you and I don't think Will and his friends are either. Megatron made a mistake in calling the Allspark his and brought his downfall. You only reacted the way only the Vessel could to protect the Allspark. You are not the only Vessel that has killed those going after its power."
Abelia looked at Optimus as he took her by the shoulders again.
"You have a family with us and if you are lost, we will come to find you."
Optimus smiled as Abelia slowly started to stop crying, her own smile forming on her face.
"Thank you, Orion," Abelia said.
"You are my sister now, and I would have helped you overwise," Optimus shrugged, "Besides, just because you wear the Autobot Symbol, doesn't mean you have to be. There are Cybertronians out there that are Neutral's and were the Autobot Symbol."
"Why would they," Abelia asked, tilting her head, confused.
"Either they knew someone who was an Autobot or was under the protection of one. They wore our Symbols to show their alliance with us but didn't want to fight in the war. Not all Cybertronians were suited to fight. That's why your Symbol is embedded in instead of raised out like mine."
Abelia hummed. She glanced at the still talking god-like beings before looking at Optimus again.
"I think you should accept their gift."
Optimus blinked surprise dancing in his optics. "Why?"
"You proved your worth and if you are the only Prime that has this gift besides another from your history, then you should. Clearly, you showed them something."
Optimus chuckled, "If that's the case your giving me, then you should accept as well. You may need it to protect the Allspark and yourself. You showed them you are worthy of it."
Abelia smiled, bashfully ducking her head. "Okay, then. Let's give them our answer."
The two made their way back to Primus, Prima, and Unicron. The three looked at them when they approached.
"We accept your offer," Optimus said.
"We'll take your gifts," Abelia added.
The two gods and the goddess grinned. Primus stepped towards them, lifting his hands at the. "We are glad. Learn your abilities well. And take care."
"We can't interfere with the war, but we can do this," Unicorn added.
"There are some things we can't do. We learned that, or at least I learned that, the hard way," Prima added. Her statement brought confusion to Abelia and Optimus.
Primus touched raised his hands, placing his metal hands on Optimus's and Abelia's foreheads. "When you wake up, you will see proof of your gifts."
Right before Primus sent the two back, Abelia spoke up. "For the record, if you ever contact someone again, make sure they are in a safe place."
Primus nodded, "We will keep that in mind."
Optimus and Abelia glanced at each other, taking in the fact they are in each other's height one last time, committing it to memory before everything went white.
Base
Will paced anxiously at the side, watching as Ratchet checked over Optimus and Abelia as both Autobot Leader and teenage Vessel laid unconscious. Will had carried Abelia over to lay next to Optimus so Rather could look them both over. After that, Will had given in to the urge to ask if either of them were okay. Repeatedly.
"And you're sure they are okay," Will asked again, looking away from the two unmoving forms to look at Ratchet. Ratchet resisted the urge to sigh, the battle Medic looking down the clearly worried human.
"They are fine. When whatever they were called for is over, they will wake up," Ratchet told him.
Epps came over, placing his hand on Will's shoulder, "They'll be okay. Why don't you call Sarah? Let her know about Abelia staying with you as well as the bots."
Will sighed, nodding his head as he reluctantly left to call his wife. Epps watched his friend walk away in pity, knowing how he felt. Their two friends, while still new, have already made homes inside his heart. Abelia, the girl who managed to worm her way into their hearts. And Optimus, the robotic alien whose devotion to protecting others, won their trust.
"It's shocking."
Epps turned to look at Ironhide, who was watching Will walk out of the rather large Hanger.
"What is," Epps asked.
The weapon specialist turned his gaze to look down at Epps. "The fact he hasn't known any of us long and he has such a strong connection to worry like that."
Epps laughed, "Yeah, well, he ain't the only one."
"You too," Bumblebee asked, coming over and kneeling down not too far from Epps. Epps didn't know if it was because Bumblebee wanted to be more to his level, or it was to ease Epps. Not that Epps was nervous around these guys.
Still, Epps nodded. "Yep. And the other guy's as well. We've gotten attached to you guys and to Abelia. Why do you think they haven't left yet." Epps pointed to a corner of the Hanger, where the rest of his unit stood, talking.
"But yo' have only known us fo' a short time," Jazz stated, tilting his head in confusion.
"I know you humans are social beings but do you really form bonds in this short of time at this level," Ratchet asked, pausing in his checking of Optimus and Abelia to look at Epps.
Chuckling, Epps nodded. "We can. It can be the setting, the connection, it could be what is going on, or something else entirely. But we can form bonds at the drop of a hat. Sometimes we don't even realize we did until it's pointed out."
"Really," Bumblebee asked, something shining in his optics that Epps labeled as hidden joy, "We have to tell you how our kind forms bonds."
"I sure would love to hear it Bumblebee," Epps laughed, looking at the young bot before he frowned, "But the thing is, Will met Abelia before any of us and formed a bond with her. He may not see it yet, but his bond with her is a different bond than everyone else's besides Optimus."
Epps turned, looking in the direction where Will had walked away, "Which is why I know, that something like this happening to two people he's growing to care about, one more so than the other, is eating at him. Because he can't do a thing."
With Will
Will sighed as he entered the room where it was set up for communications back at home. He sat down in a chair and started typing on the computer in front of him, setting up a link to his wife's computer. It didn't take long for him to send an invite and it took even less for his wife to accept it.
When Sarah's face appeared on screen, Will had tears appear on his face, breathing heavily as he took in the sight his wife was.
Sarah's hair was tied back into a ponytail, an apron over her clothes. She had cooking gloves on, covered in what looked like batter. Her hopeful gaze turned teary as she saw her husband on the other end of the screen.
"Will," Sarah cracked, tears already falling from her eyes.
Will smiled, "Hey, Sarah. I'm alive."
"Oh god Will!"
Sarah collapsed onto the chair behind her, pulling off her gloves so she wouldn't dirty the screen as she traced Will's face through the screen.
"It's you. I knew it," Sarah said, "I knew you wouldn't leave us. I knew you were alive, even before I got the call from that Keller guy."
Will laughed, tracing Sarah's face through the screen as well like he was burning it to memory. He was also glad Keller called his wife.
"Yeah, well, I wasn't going to leave my two girls like that," Will stated, making Sarah smile as took in the fact her husband was alive. As she took in her husband's face, she saw the helplessness that was still there. Small, but still there.
"How's Annabelle?"
"She's doing great. She's sleeping right now."
Sarah calmed herself, moving her hand away from the screen to wipe the tears away as she knew her husband wasn't completely alright. "Will, I've been married to you for about five years and I've known you since high school. Something's wrong, so tell me."
Will ducked his head, moving his hand away from the screen as he took a deep breath.
"We lost Donnelly and Figs is in the hospital. Donnelly got stabbed in the back and Figs distracted the enemy to save me."
"Oh, Will," Sarah said, pity in her voice. She met Donnelly and Figs a couple of times and knew they were like family to Will, "I'm so sorry that you lost Donnelly and I'm sorry about Figs, but I'm glad he saved you."
Will lifted his head, looking at Sarah, "I would have lost more of my men and my life if I didn't have help."
"Help? Who helped you. I have to thank them."
Will smiled, "Her name is Abelia and you'll love her. Abelia saved us three times, Sarah. Once during the base attack, then when we were attacked again, and third with the final attack."
"I really have to thank her then for saving you so many times."
"And her friends, they helped her," Will added.
"Of course," Sarah said, before narrowing her eyes, "So what aren't you telling me?"
Will sighed, rubbing his head as he leaned back. He was sure he looked defeated at that moment but couldn't bring himself to care.
"She's eighteen, Sarah. And during some part of this, her parents disowned her, because she 'wasn't their daughter'. She and her friends were helping us and they disowned her, said what was she worth protecting," Will said, practically growling the last bit. Yeah, the Autobots, mostly Jazz, had told him what Abelia's former parents said when she set a trap for Sector Seven.
"That poor girl," Sarah exclaimed, horrified, "Why would they do that?"
Will shifted, looking down before looking up at her, "That's something best said face-to-face, as well about Abelia's friends."
"What can you tell me?"
Will bit his lip. What could he tell? He couldn't say that they were aliens over the screen call. He decided to stick with the truth, well, as close to the truth as possible.
"They lost their home in a war. They've been fighting for years. Their enemies were the ones who attack me and my men and destroyed the base. When they found a connection to Abelia, they knew that she would be targeted by their enemies so they sent their scout to protect her."
"And did their enemies go after her," Sarah asked, captivated by the story Will was telling.
Will nodded, "They did. Their enemies sent their own scout. Abelia's scout friend was able to protect her before bringing her to meet the rest of them. I'll sum it up for now, but they met the rest of us when their enemies attacked again. We worked together to defeat their enemies. We got all but the second in command and the enemy scout. But..."
Pausing, Will took a breath, remembering Abelia's reaction to when she killed Megatron.
"Will," Sarah leaned in, worried about her husband's reactions.
"Abelia killed the enemy leader when he tried to kill her. You should have seen her Sarah. She was so horrified about what she'd done, it took me and Opti-," he stopped before he said Optimus's name, "It took me and OP to calm her down. She's going through something that's risking her life during all this, even now."
"That's it."
"What," Will asked, taken back by his wife's sudden hard tone.
"William Lennox, when you come home to me you are bringing this Abelia along with you. I don't care if I have to come myself, I'll drag her kicking and screaming if I have to. She is going to get the care she deserves in this house."
Will laughed, at ease with the fact Sarah wanted Abelia at their home.
"Well, good, because I was going to bring her anyway. And speaking about bringing her over, I'm going to ask if we can bring her friends as well."
Sarah blinked before saying, "The same friends that protected her?"
"Yeah."
"Who are they? How many are there?"
Will took a second to think because well, the Autobots aliens and he really didn't want to say that over video.
"There's five of them. There's the scout, but then there's their saboteur, medic, weapon specialist, and their leader. They all formed a bond with Abelia, but OP, the leader, actually adopted her as his sister."
"He did," Sarah asked, shocked.
Will nodded, smiling a little, "Yeah, I'm not going to go into detail now, but his reason is actually touching. He was afraid she would reject him."
"I'm guessing she didn't."
Will shook his head. He frowned.
"There's more you got to know, but I rather tell you in person. But Abelia and her friends, they need a place to stay. I offered our place because it's far from anyone else. Besides, I want you to meet them. This new enemy, there's more of them out there. My unit and I as well as Abelia and her friends are going to be working together in a task force."
"Oh my. This threat...is that bad?" Sarah held her hand over her heart.
Will just nodded. Sarah hardens her gaze.
"Why you then? Why are you in this task force?"
"Because I fought back. I wasn't afraid. I earned Abelia's friend's trust and respect. They want me, Sarah. They want me and my men because we showed what we can do. When I tell you the full story, you'll understand, but I want you to meet them."
Sarah sighed, "I don't like the fact you're going to be in this task force, but okay, I will meet with these new friends."
At that moment, a baby's cry can be heard, making Sarah turn her gaze to the baby monitor next to the computer.
"Annabelle's awake."
Will smiled, "Go to her then. I have to get back to the others now. I love you. Give Annabelle a kiss for me. I'll be home very soon."
Sarah smiled back at him, getting up. "I love you too. See you very soon."
Will cut the connection and sighed, resting his head in his hands. It felt very good seeing his wife again, even if it was through a computer screen. He only hoped she reacted to the Autobots in a good way.
"Your wife doing okay?"
Will looked up, seeing Keller standing at the doorway. He nodded.
"Yeah, she's doing okay now. Thanks for letting the Autobots come back with me."
Keller shrugged, "We need good relations with them. If they are going to be working with you, they need to get to know you. Besides, if Abelia's staying with you, then I have a feeling one of them is going with you. Might as well send the other four as I get things set up."
Will grinned as he got up, "Your doing a lot for them."
Keller grinned as well, crossing his arms. "Well, I know good allies when I see them. After what they've done for us, we owe them. And I got a feeling they won't be leaving that girl anytime soon."
Will's frown disappeared as he remembered how Abelia and Optimus were unconscious. Keller turned away, walking away a little bit before turning back to the Captain.
"By the way, Abelia and Optimus woke up."
Keller laughed at the shocked look Will had, but he only grinned when the man ran past him to head back to the Hanger the Autobot Leader and Abelia were in.
"Oh Lennox," Keller grinned, "It takes a father to see what you see that young girl as."
Back At The Hanger
When Abelia came to, she was aware of a couple of things. One, her head hurt. Two, everything was loud. And three, she was thirsty. Who knew that godly meetings would make someone need a drink.
Abelia slowly got up, holding a hand to her head. Hearing the shifting of metal made Abelia turn her gaze to Optimus, who was also getting up.
Optimus shook his head as he sat up. He was also holding his head. Guess he had the same headache. He looked down and upon seeing Abelia sitting next to him, gave her a smile. She smiled back, giving him a small nod before they turned to look at everyone else in the Hanger who was talking.
Talking rather loudly.
Abelia groaned and yelled, "Hey! Shut up! I got a headache and your not helping!"
Everyone stopped talking and turned to look at Abelia and Optimus.
"Your awake," came the collective exclaim. Optimus and Abelia winced at how loud everyone was at once.
"Everyone please," Optimus spoke, "We have a headache and all of you talking at the same time is making it worse."
Everyone calmed down at hearing that. Ratchet came over, raising his scanner as he scanned over the both of them. Optimus just sighed, letting Ratchet do what he wanted and Abelia sat still, not wanting to make Ratchet worry any more than he probably has.
Keller turned to his fellow humans, stating, "I'll go get Lennox."
As Keller walked out of the Hanger, Ratchet looked up from the hologram on his arm to look at the two in front of him.
"Nothing seems wrong with your bodies. Besides a headache, do you two feel any different," Ratchet asked them. He was giving them a look that clearly spoke that if they hide anything, he would find out and wouldn't be happy at them when he did.
The new siblings looked at each other.
"I don't feel any different." (Abelia)
"Neither do I." (Optimus)
"I guess we have to work on our powers like they said." (Abelia)
"Training?" (Optimus)
"Yep." (Abelia)
Abelia and Optimus finally turned to Ratchet, who looked rather annoyed at the wait. They both looked sheepish and Ratchet's thought was if they weren't born from different families and be different races, they would actually be siblings. Being a Prime and Vessel notwithstanding.
"We're good," both of them said.
Ratchet groaned, putting a hand on his head, "I have a feeling both of either are going to balance each other out and I have no idea what that spells for me."
Panting brought attention to the Hanger door, where Will just ran through, stopping when he caught sight of Abelia and Optimus awake. The joy in his eyes was unmistakable.
"You awake," Will exclaimed, running over and hugging Abelia to him. Abelia squeaked in surprise, but she smiled and hugged Will back, feeling happiness overcome her. Epps smiled at this, giving the Autobots a look as he gestured to Will and Abelia, silently saying, 'See what I mean?'
The Autobots took notice of how Will hugged Abelia to him like he was afraid she would disappear. It was almost like she was his daughter. No, it was actually like that. Will saw Abelia like she was his daughter, whether he knew it or not.
Will turned, letting go of Abelia, but keeping his arm wrapped around her shoulders as he looked up at Optimus.
"Glad to see you up as well, Optimus."
Optimus tilted his head down, giving Will a smile. He didn't say anything, but he didn't need to. He saw how Will cared for his new little sister and knew Abelia cared for Will as well if he judged the happiness in her side of the bond right.
"What happened to you too," Ironhide asked, "We know you were contacted by the Gods and Goddess. What did they what?"
"First, who are these Gods and Goddess your speaking about," Maggie asked, stepping forward as she looked up at the Autobots, "You may know, but we humans don't."
Simmons nodded, "Yeah. She has a point. It would be easier for us to understand what you were saying."
The Autobots looked at Optimus as the mech thought about it for a moment. After a couple of seconds, Optimus nodded to his Autobots. Taking that as a confirmation to explain, the Autobots turned to their human friends.
"The Gods and Goddesses of Cybertron have been around since the start of our world," Ratchet began, "You have Primus, Unicron, Prima, and Quintessa."
"They each held a power. They used them to help our kind and to create the Circuit, which is where Sparks go when they die," Ironhide continued.
"From there, it's decided if yo' go ta tha Pit o' Sparks or ta tha Well o' Sparks," Jazz added, "Think o' Heaven n' Hell. Da Well o' Spark be our Heaven while da Pit o' Sparks be our Hell."
"Primus held the power of Creation, Unicron held the power of Destruction, Prima held the power of Life, and Quintessa held the power of Death. However, Quintessa was banished for a reason unknown since recorded knowledge of it was destroyed," Bumblebee spoke up, looking at the older bots to see if he was right. When they nodded, Bumblebee sighed in relief.
"I hope this answers some of your questions," Optimus asked, looking at the humans.
"Oh no, this just gives me some more. But I want to know what happen when they spoke to you," Simmons stated.
Abelia chuckled, "I feel you there."
The Autobots looked confused, "What?"
Abelia groaned, hanging her head against Will. Will took pity on her and looked at the Autobots, "It means she understands him."
Understanding filled the Autobot's optics as they nodded. Then, Ironhide, Ratchet, Bumblebee, and Jazz looked at Optimus. Knowing that they were waiting for an explanation, Optimus started talking.
"It was Primus, Unicron, and Prima that spoke to us. Our actions got their attention. My actions to protect the human race and Abelia's drive to protect us all impressed them. They wanted to give us gifts."
"Gifts," Ironhide and Ratchet exclaimed, surprised. Jazz and Bumblebee just looked shocked. The humans just looked confused. Optimus nodded.
"What are you talking about," Will asked, looking between Abelia and Optimus.
"Sometimes, if one shows their worthy, they would be given a gift, a power," Optimus explains, "I was given the power of Telekinesis but in order to use it right, I will have to train."
"They gave you Telekinesis," Bumblebee said, confused, "But I thought they didn't give out gifts like that."
Optimus shrugged, "Apparently, only one Prime ever had that power. Something showed them I was worthy of it."
Jazz looked at Abelia, "And what 'bout yo'?"
Abelia turned her head to look at everyone but kept her head on Will's shoulder.
"I already got the Blessings of Creation, Life, and Destruction when I became the Allspark. They just gave me the add-ons. Supernatural Reflexes will allow me to react faster, Supernatural Durability will make me more durable, and Supernatural Strike is mostly used for fighting back, but I know where to aim and hit," Abelia explained.
"I guess training is needed for both of you," Will stated, making Abelia peek up at him.
"You're taking this rather well," she observed, making Will shrug.
"After the last couple of days, I'm not really surprised," Will admitted.
"Were you able to call Sarah," Epps asked.
At that question, Will lit up, "Why, yes! I did!"
Will released Abelia as he turned to look at her more. "Sarah wants to meet you."
"What," Abelia asked, shocked.
"I didn't tell her a lot, but what I did tell her made her want to meet you. She even said that she would come here and take you to our home herself if she had to."
Abelia huffed, giving a little laugh. "Well, I guess I can't refuse her then. But what about the Autobots."
Will shifted on his feet. He looked up at Optimus, "She said that you five can come as well, but I didn't tell her that you are aliens. Figured that would be better told in person than over-screen."
Optimus nodded his head in thanks, "I thank you for your kindness."
Will shook his head, "After everything, you deserve it."
Abelia watched as her friends, both human and alien, talked amongst each other. There was no place in the world she would rather be right now. She wouldn't trade all of this for anything, even if it meant saving her from the coma.
She hadn't forgotten that, but she also knew the Autobots wouldn't give up on finding a way to save her.
Right now, she was content to watch as the humans gave the Autobots pointers on Earth.
Me: This. Took. So. Long.
I am proud of myself for making it.
I want to know what you want to see in the two years before the second movie with Abelia and the Autobots. I'll see what I can do, but I need some ideas because what I got, doesn't make it to a year.
Anyway, I'm glad to get this out and I'm sorry for the wait. I'll try to be faster on the next chapter.
