She walked over to her window and stared at the moon. She looked longingly at the forest. She wanted to roam so badly under their shade that she felt the dew on her skin. She sat at the window and fell asleep.

She woke with a start. She jumped up in fighting stance.

"No need of violence. Report for breakfast. Then change into these clothes and report for your assignment," said Jaken.

"No, I refuse to ware those horrid clothes. I'll keep the ones I have on," said Tsuki defiantly.

Jaken walked out of the room, Tsuki fallowed. They entered the dining hall where Sesshoumaru sat eating. He looked up and studied Tsuki.

"Why aren't you dressed?" he asked coolly.

"I am dressed," Tsuki said just as cool.

"You're going to clean the rooms on the second floor. You know where that is. It's the floor your room is on," said Sesshoumaru ignoring Tsuki's attitude.

She sat down at the table. She didn't eat or drink any thing. She looked out the window. After Sesshoumaru and all the servants were done eating, Sesshoumaru led Tsuki to a closet.

"Every thing you'll need to clean with is in here. I expect it to all be done by the time I return," Sesshoumaru said starting to walk away.

"Return from where?" Tsuki asked innocently.

"Non of your concern. Finish with your work and your allowed to go to the garden. I presume after all the time you spend there that you like it there," Sesshoumaru said

"What if I refuse to work?" Tsuki said bored.

"Then you'll have comforts taken away," Sesshoumaru said walking out the door.

Tsuki decided that she would rather clean than do nothing. She grabbed some rags, cleaner, and started cleaning. She scrubbed the second floor twice excluding Sesshoumaru's room. Then after the floors were spotless she started Sesshoumaru's room. She made the bed, cleaned the restroom, and straitened up his desk. She found a journal. She studied the cover. She decided not to look, but instead laid it on his pillow. She then walked to the garden. She sat staring at her reflection in the pond for an hour.

"I thought I'd find you hear," she heard Sesshoumaru's cold voice say.

"What do you want?" Tsuki said not moving.

"I want to know why you defy me, and why you aren't afraid of me," Sesshoumaru said gently motioning her shoulder for her to stand.

"I think it's my life and I choose not to fear. There is only one thing I fear," Tsuki said turning toward the castle.

"What do you fear?" Sesshoumaru asked.

"I don't tell my fear any more. It's would only hurt me now," Tsuki said moving away from Sesshoumaru.

She walked to her room. She shut the door only to hear a knock. She opened the door to find Sesshoumaru standing there.

"You did as you were told. Now you will be rewarded. You get to decide what kind of clothes you want. The clothes maker will come to take your measurements and find out what you want," Sesshoumaru said indifferently.

"What if I don't want this so called "reward" of yours?" Tsuki said stubbornly.

"Its your choice," Sesshoumaru said looking at the bed.

He walked over and examined the sheets and pillows. A satisfied expression crossed his face before he put on his mask of calmness. He looked at Tsuki then picked up her bag.

"Put my backpack down. NOW if you don't mined," Tsuki said so even and coldly that Sesshoumaru turned toward her.

He sat her bag in front of Tsuki. He eyed her in hidden curiosity. She looked emotionally at Sesshoumaru. He soon became nervous under her gaze but hid it.

"She'll be here in a few minuets incase you do want some new clothes," Sesshoumaru said closing the door as he left the room.

About an hour later a small raccoon demon knocked on the door. She bowed low. This surprised Tsuki considering she wasn't used to being respected. Tsuki aloud the demon to measure her. She described the clothes she wanted. Her wardrobe consisted of a pair of black short shorts with a black kimono top that had a blue moon design on the left shoulder. Then the demon left.

"Wash up you filthy human. Its almost dinner," said Jaken walking past Tsuki's room.

She washed and changed into another pair of her clothes. She walked silently to the dining room. She sat looking at her food.

"You haven't eaten nor drank since you arrived. You must be hungry. You'll be training tomorrow. Even the maids know how to defend themselves," Sesshoumaru said.

"Yes, what ever you say," Tsuki said looking at her plate of meat.

"Why don't you eat?" Sesshoumaru asked mildly.

"I am afraid I'm a vegetarian," Tsuki said looking at Sesshoumaru.

Sesshoumaru motioned a servant from the shadows. He whispered to the servant then looked at Tsuki.

"Why did you not inform me that you were a vegetarian?" Sesshoumaru said looking at Tsuki.

"You never asked," Tsuki said simply.

The servant had given Tsuki an apple and some water. After dinner Tsuki walked around the garden. She took off her sandals and walked in the river that ran through the middle of the garden. She noticed Sesshoumaru watching her from his window. She decided it was time for bed.

"You are very talented seamstress. You could help the clothes maker or you can keep the second floor spotless. It's your choose," Sesshoumaru said as Tsuki walked in her room.

"I would rather work alone," Tsuki said. "How did you know I ripped the sheet up?"

"I'm a dog demon. I could hear them tearing. What I didn't expect was for you to repair the sheets. Why'd you repair the sheets if you were so mad?" Sesshoumaru inquired.

"I do not own the sheets and it was wrong for me to rip them. I lost control and I'm not planning on loosing it again," Tsuki said walking into the restroom.

She changed into her nightclothes. When she reentered the room Sesshoumaru had left. She moved her bed so she could sleep under the window. That night she dreamt of a dark void. It tried to suck up every one but the only one it caught was she. She woke with a cold sweat and felt like she was being watched. She managed to force herself to wash and she found her new clothes in her dresser.

She walked in the rising sun's light. She soaked up every once of tranquility. She walked toward the castle. She tripped over a giant mound of ice that appeared out of nowhere. She stretched her hands out to catch herself when some thing wrapped an ice strap around her. She looked around trying to find the culprit. Her eyes landed on the fountain.

"Well, well, well you're finally alone. You're coming with me. Hope you understand that you might die," laughed a demon that had blue skin. "We're going north to my lands."

"You talk to much," stated Tsuki.

"You are in no position to make comments like that. It could just cost you your life," said the demon.

"Great I'm being kidnapped from my kidnapper," mumbled Tsuki.

"What did you say?" said the demon sharply.

"Oh.. nothing," said Tsuki grabbing her bag, which she always had with her.
