Tsuki was back in the present before she knew it. She found her house after a while. She had almost forgotten what the present was like. She was so exited to be back, even though something was nagging her in the back of her head.

"Hay, Tsuki. Where ya been?" yelled a women.

"Hay, Principal Ahoki," Tsuki smiled.

"How many times do I have to tell you? Call me Zuki," Zuki smiled.

"Where you been girl? The school just lost a mythical teacher. I know you hate staying in one job for long, but can you fill in till end of semester?" Zuki said as she and Tsuki ate lunch.

"Why not?" Tsuki sipped her tea.

"Thanks. How can you live off of tea?" Zuki said.

Tsuki just smiled, "You don't have anything in certain you want the children to learn. Do you?"

"They were in the process of learning about demon/human lovers, and relationships," Zuki stated.

"You are still nuts," Tsuki laughed.

She started teaching the next day. It turns out, she loved her job and made it permanent. She lived a pretty happy life the next five years.

"Ms. Kage, what happened to the henyo and the miko?" a girl asked.

"They had two beautiful twins. A boy and a girl, Inu-maro, and Umiko," Tsuki said. She loved telling about InuYasha and Kogome.

"What happened to the princes lost in time and the ice hearted lord of the west?" another girl popped up.

"Well that depends. Do you want the truth or a happy ending?" Tsuki said going through the papers on her desk.

"The truth," the little girl said.

"She went back to her time and staid wondering on what could have been," Tsuki smiled sadly.

"Hay, why does the boy's name mean girl dog demon?" asked a boy.

"Tell you the truth I have no idea," Tsuki said.

Hour later the bell rang, and Tsuki found herself in her personal library.

"Tsuki, please come quick," Kogome was out of breath and flustered as she busted threw the doors.

"What's wrong? Kogome, answer me. Kogome, what's wrong!" Tsuki said trying to shake Kogome.

"He's going to kill them," Kogome said pulling Tsuki out the door.

"Who? Who's killing who?" Tsuki said.

"Sesshoumaru. He's going to kill Inu-maru and Umiko," panted Kogome.

Tsuki stopped dead in her tracks, "Kogome, come with me."

Tsuki grabbed her sword and she hopped on her dirt bike. Kogome was just behind her. Tsuki took her bike down the well and found Meroku, Songo, Shippo, and Kirara knocked out.

"Where are they?" "The castle."

Tsuki was there in minutes. She was horrified to find a nearly dead InuYasha lying on the ground. Jaken was a pile of broken bones on the ground. Sesshoumaru was in his dog form standing, snarling at two little children on the ground.

"Sesshoumaru…." Tsuki yelled.

He turned at his name. He found the women he hated but had no choice but to love. Where had she gone? Why was she back? Anger. His mind was taken by rage.

"Sesshoumaru. Stop this. You're not like this. What happened to you? Answer me," Tsuki persisted.

He turned his body, knocking the children ten yards away. He snarled and miasma poured out of his jaws.

"I will not fight you. Kill me. If you aren't the lord I was in love with, then prove it and kill me," Tsuki yelled with rage.

She ran at Sesshoumaru, throwing her sword away. His rage was overwhelming. She ran to him knowing she was probably going to die. The dog roared and bit Tsuki. She locked her teeth together to keep from screaming though she couldn't stop the tears.

Kogome ran to see InuYasha and her children sitting in a tree.

"InuYasha where is Tsuki?"

"Uncle Sesshoumaru took her away," her son cried out.

"Father wouldn't let us help her," her girl cried.

"It's all right. She'll be okay," Kogome said inspecting InuYasha's wounds.

Tsuki woke up in a familiar room. She had a since of recognition but couldn't place it. She tried to sit up but found a pain jerk her body. Memories filled her confused head.

"What the hell? Wares Tsuki?" yelled InuYasha gathering his wits.

"Sesshoumaru took her," Kogome said frustrated.

"Daddy, we have to go get her," Inu-maru pleaded.

"She's most likely dead…" InuYasha started.

"InuYasha! Not in front of the kids!" Kogome interrupted.

"Um.. ware are they?" InuYasha said looking around frantically.

"They must have gone after Tsuki!" Kogome yelled running off. InuYasha fallowed.

"You sure this is the way?" asked Umiko.

"Yeh, I'm sure. See the blood trail," Inu-maru said running.

"Look! It's the castle," Umiko whispered. The castle scared her a bit.

Inu-maru pulled Umiko to the side," stay here. Its safer."

"No, I'm coming," Umiko said. No time to argue.

Inu-maru pulled his sister close as they fallowed Tsuki's scent. They found Sesshoumaru in his human form leaving a room. He looked around sniffing the air. It made Umiko feel good to know she had mentioned covering their scents before coming. Sesshoumaru walked down the hall sub missing his paranoia.

The children snuck in the room. They were horrified. They'd never seen Tsuki in such conditions. She was unconscious and covered in cuts, bruises, and large gashes. She'd heal quickly, they knew. Umiko walked to the bedside.

"Umiko you shouldn't be here," Tsuki murmured as she saw the girl threw the pain.

"We have to get you out of here. He could kill you," Inu-maru said stepping into view.

"He wont kill me. Tell me why this happened," Tsuki said sitting up despite the pain.

"Well after we were born he'd come around and look to see if you'd come back. Then one-day daddy got sick of it and confronted him. This angered Sesshoumaru. They fought and we got in the way," Inu-maru said.

"Mama thought about you and went to you. You came and you know the rest," Umiko said.

"So that's what's wrong. A broken heart. A broken soul. I didn't think my leaving would cause this," Tsuki said.

Flash back

"I promise never to leave you," she had said.

End of flash back.

"Hide he's coming," Tsuki said.

They hid as Sesshoumaru walked in. he sat on the bed.

"How are you doing?" he asked quietly and coldly.

"Besides this I'm fine… What's wrong with you? You've changed," she said.

How could she not know? He pondered. "You promised," he whispered.

"I did and I'm sorry. Please forgive me. I'll make it up to you," Tsuki grabbed Sesshoumaru.

He looked coldly at Tsuki. She wrapped her arms around him and put her face to ware his heart was. She felt her heart flutter at the sound of his. She actually felt happy and forgot her pain.

He laid a shaking hand on her head. She whimpered softly into his kimono. He felt a tear slide down his cheek. She was back. She was really back. Back to him. His heart twisted as he saw her eyes staring into his.

"Tell me the truth. Are you here to stay or are you going to leave me? Tell me the truth this time," Sesshoumaru whispered.
