AN: Hello Everyone!

First things first, I'd like to greet everyone, Merry Christmas! This is one of my presents of sorts to you, the readers. I'd like to thank everyone for all the support, reading this fic and baring with my mediocre. I cannot thank you all enough. And sorry for the late gift, due to some reasons, the publication of the new chapter was stalled.

With that out of the way. Some things before we begin. I have updated Eternity as well aside from this story, so for those who read that story, Merry Christmas. And lastly, I've been working on a new story lately. It's still in the planning stage, but I believe that it'll definitely be better than this and Eternity since I've taken some time to refine my writing and get better at writing drafts/outlining and other stuff, but you don't want to hear that.

So without further ado, let's get started!

Enjoy reading!

By the end of it, the class continued along with the next rounds until it was noon. Most of the class was tired, but was still determined, after hearing their mistakes being pointed out, as they all were aspiring to be heroes and wanted to improve.

The last teams had just finished their battle, as the class stood in front of the exit and All Might, who was about ready to wrap up their lesson for the day.

All Might smiled proudly, as he looked at the class collectively.

"Good Job!"

(Chapter 7)

( - )

"Nobody got injured badly other than young Midoriya, but you all gave your best!" All Might commended. "You all did great, considering this is your first training." He says, giving the class a thumbs up.

"Having such a decent lesson after Mr. Aizawa's is kind of anticlimactic."

The remark earned many nods of agreement from the others, as they thought the same.

"Conducting a decent lesson is our freedom of choice!" All Might says. "Well then, I must give young Midoriya some feedback." He says, waving goodbye to the class as he gets ready to run off.

"Change your clothes and return to your classroom!" All Might says as he speeded off in a hurry, being out of the class' sight in a flash.

"All Might is awesome!" Kaminari says, once again being such a fanboy of the Symbol of Peace, while the rest of the class began to talk amongst themselves.

Percy had sighed, staring at the position that All Might was previously standing in. He was about to ask for permission to visit Izuku as he wanted to check on him, but seeing how All Might had gone to do just that, he decided on doing that later.

"Everyone QUIET!" Iida's voice boomed, catching everyone's attention as they turned to the blue-haired boy, who had a stern look. "Sensei had instructed us all to change our clothes and return to the classroom, so that is what we shall do!"

No one had any qualms with Iida as everyone began doing just that and proceeded to head back to their classroom.

( - )

Percy sighed, slumping back on his seat with his arms crossed as his eyes roamed throughout the classroom.

When he had gone back to the monitoring room, he had talked with many of his classmates, learning of their names in the process as he had gotten to know them. Now he knew most of the names of his peers as he watched them, scattering around and forming groups once they had entered the class.

He didn't particularly feel like standing up and going around, talking to everyone, so he just sat on his seat patiently. As he expected though, he couldn't stay still for long so, while still staying seated, he turned around to face Momo and Shoto, who were both positioned behind him.

The two top students looked like they had better self control as they sat on their seats quietly and diligently like they were used to it.

"Hey." Percy says.

"Hey." Momo says, being the only one to reply as Todoroki stayed silent, but he did nod subtly, acknowledging that he heard Percy.

"Since there seems to be time to kill, what say we talk to pass the time?" Percy suggests to the two. He was bored, but he also wanted to get to know them better.

"You can do what you want, I won't stop you." Todoroki says, in his usual monotone voice.

"Since our most recent training looked like it certainly won't be our last working together as a pair or group. It would seem beneficial to get to know each other and to increase our cohesiveness as a team, so sure." Yaoyorozu shrugged.

"Okay great!" Percy says. "So what should we…I got it! Yaoyorozu, I saw the leaderboard during the entrance exams and I don't remember finding your name. You have a good quirk, you're really smart and you seem like you know how to fight. So I would've expected you to be in the top 10 at least."

"Ah that, I actually got into U.A through recommendation." Momo says.

"Woah. Are your parents pro heroes too, like Todoroki?" Percy says, unknowingly causing Todoroki to wince.

"My father is the only hero in my family." Todoroki corrects, his voice laced with resentment as he uttered the word 'father', which Percy noticed but passed it off, not wanting to pry.

"None of my parents are pro heroes, but they are both very wealthy, so I suppose that's your answer." Momo says.

"I don't mean any offense, but why did you become a hero? You seem like you'd be very well off if you followed in your parent's footsteps. You're smart and that's very likely to confirm your success, so why become a hero, knowing that you'd be risking your life?" Percy asks.

He knew that if she willingly chose to be a hero aside from choosing the more comfortable route, living wealthy and happily. She had good intentions.

"It's fine, I didn't take any offense to it. I actually got similar questions from my family when I told them I wanted to be a hero. Believe it or not, I never really found any interest in the family business." Momo says. "I was a big fan of heroes like most people, but I also had that feeling. It might seem foolish, but I decided to be a hero on a whim after realising that it must have felt nice to help people."

Percy smiled. "No, that didn't sound foolish at all. It looks to me that you're just really selfless and compassionate. You want to be a hero, not for the money or popularity but because you liked seeing people happy. Am I right?"

Momo smiled awkwardly in response. "T-thanks and yeah, something like that. Though I think you're overstating it."

"Maybe, but it's still the same nonetheless." Percy says and before he's about to speak again, he's interrupted by the sound of the door opening.

He turned around to look at who had entered the classroom. Percy smiled, being happy to see Izuku, who stood by the door with a sling on his right arm and bandages wrapped around both arms.

Percy's eyes couldn't linger long enough on Izuku though as many of the others who had seen Izuku open the door immediately rushed to him. They crowded him as they began swarming Izuku with questions and praises, no doubt from when they had watched him battle Katsuki.

Percy chuckled, seeing his confused and very overwhelmed friend as it was apparent that Izuku was not used to the positive remarks from his peers. Of course, as his friend, Percy decided to come and help the green-haired boy, but not before seeing him panic for a few more seconds.

"Hey! Give Izuku some space, the guy literally just came from the infirmary." Percy calls out, giving him the desired effect of everyone, who were too close to Izuku for the green-haired boy's liking, to step back a few inches.

"T-thank you, Percy." Izuku says, smiling.

"Anytime." Percy smiled back. "Now come on and let's get you back to your sea—"

Percy was once again cut off by the door opening, this time the entrance from the other end of the classroom as Uraraka and Kaminari walk through with a pile of books on hand.

"Hey Uraraka, we should go eat. What do you like?"

"Rice cak—" Uraraka stopped what she was about to say as her eyes landed on Izuku who was by the door and immediately ran to him.

"Deku, you didn't get your injuries fixed?" Uraraka asks worriedly.

"Oh, this is because of my energy…" Izuku says awkwardly, still not very used to talking to a girl as he trails off; his eyes scanned the room for Katsuki, only to find the blonde's seat to be empty, causing his eyes to widen.

"Uh, more importantly, do any of you know where Kacchan went?" Izuku asks.

"Bakugo?"

"Ah about that…" Percy says. "Once we all returned to the classroom, Katsuki suddenly left without a word." He says.

In contrast to his other classmates, Percy didn't try to stop his friend as he knew the blonde-haired boy needed some time to cool off.

Just like Katsuki, upon hearing of the blonde's whereabouts, Izuku speeded off without a word, chasing after Bakugo no doubt.

Some wanted to go after the green-haired boy, but Percy stopped them as everyone went back to what they were previously doing, which didn't last long. Everyone suddenly heard it, it was faint but they could make out the voice of Izuku who sounded like he was shouting.

Those who had tried to stop him and Percy went to the windows where the voice sounded the loudest and saw Izuku outside standing in front of Katsuki; they both looked like they were talking.

"Hey can anyone hear what they're saying?"

"I'm trying."

Those who were standing by the windows tried to listen in on the conversation, but Percy didn't need to do that as he watched the exchange of words between Izuku and Bakugo silently.

Percy smiled as he watched Bakugo start yelling and sobbing. He knew that it dealt a huge blow to his pride when he had lost, but this was for the better as Bakugo could now work on improving so he could surpass Izuku; which was motivation enough.

Seeing as everything was going to be fine, Percy went back to his seat with a smile. It was not really a great motivation, but it worked either way. Katsuki's fighting spirit was reignited and stronger this time; all thanks to Izuku.

(The Next Day)

"In your experience, what is All Might like?" A reporter asks a very confused Percy Jackson.

He had just arrived at school and saw the huge crowd of journalists that were swarming the entrance of U.A. He pushed through them and now found himself closer to the entrance, but it was being blocked by more journalists who were all shooting him questions.

They were all getting too close to his liking, so Percy scrambled to find an opening where he could run to, but to no avail. He kept his head low to avoid being seen as he pushed through the crowd, eventually finding a way out of the maze of people and saw an opening, but.

"Agh!" The familiar voice of Kaminari brought Percy back into the mob of eager journalists, as he locked eyes with his yellow-haired classmate.

"Percy, help me!" Kaminari calls out to Percy, who was thinking deeply.

Should he help him? Or should he abandon Kaminari?

Percy chose to…

"RUN AWAY!" Percy turned his back on Kaminari without hesitation and ran off into the opposite direction. He used the opening he found earlier and speeded off into U.A, leaving behind his classmate in the process.

(In the Classroom)

Percy slouched on his seat as he waited for Aizawa to enter the classroom, all while avoiding Kaminari's stares awkwardly. The yellow-haired boy had not forgiven Percy yet for what happened earlier.

Percy was thankfully saved by the sound of the door opening as Aizawa walked through and went in front of the class, taking everyone's attention onto him.

"Good job on your battle training yesterday. I looked at the video clips and your scores." Aizawa says, before turning to Katsuki and locking eyes with him. "Bakugo, stop acting immaturely, you're not a kid anymore so act like it. You've got talent."

"I know that." Bakugo hissed as he avoided Aizawa's gaze.

"And Midoriya," Aizawa calls out, causing said student to flinch, while looking at the paper in his hand. "Finished with a busted arm again? I won't let you get used to not being able to control your quirk as an excuse forever."

"I hate repeating myself. Once you fix that, you can do much more." Aizawa says. "Feel urgency Midoriya." He says, earning a nod from Izuku who smiled at him.

"Yes!"

"Now," Aizawa says, setting his stack of papers onto his desk. "Onto homeroom business. This may be sudden, but I want you to…"

"Another special test!?" Many of the seated students muttered.

"Choose a class president." Aizawa finishes, causing the students who were worried about another assessment being issued to breathe a sigh of relief.

"Finally! Something school-like!"

The class burst into chaos, as the majority wanted the chance to become the president. Many students stood up and raised their hands to volunteer for the position.

"President? Choose me!"

"Me too!"

"I wanna do it too!"

"It was meant for me—"

"I'll be the leader!"

Percy let out a soft laugh as he sat back on his seat, not even bothering to reprimand his fellow peers; it would seem that this would be a norm for the class, as he decided to start getting used to it. And as his eyes landed on Aizawa, it looked to Percy that his teacher didn't at all mind the loud atmosphere.

"Silence!" Iida yelled, giving him the desired effect as he caught everyone's attention to him. "You'll be responsible for leading the masses. It's not something anyone can do. This sacred role requires trust from others. If we want to choose a true leader democratically, we should decide with a vote!"

"Your hand is raised the highest!" Those who could clearly see that Iida was raising his hand high into the air as he stood up sternly muttered.

"Why did he suggest it?"

"We just met so how can we trust each other?"

"Everyone will vote themselves"

"All the better, whoever receives multiple votes would be the most appropriate, right?" Iida says, making numerous hand gestures before turning to face Aizawa, who had already made himself cozy inside his sleeping bag, "What do you think?"

"As long as you do it in time, I don't care." Aizawa says, allowing himself to fall onto the floor and collapse into his slumber.

"Thank you very much!"

Election Results:

Midoriya Izuku- 4

Yaoyorozu Momo - 2

Jackson Percy - 2

"I got four!?" Izuku screamed in shock as the final results for the election were shown. He obviously did not expect this outcome.

"Why Deku? Who voted!?" Bakugo shot up from his seat as he asked.

"I did. And why not Izuku? I don't know if you saw yesterday. But, during the battle training, Izuku showed one of the greatest traits a true leader should possess. And that is the ability to boost morale." Percy explains, catching everyone's attention which he did not really like, feeling embarrassed but continued either way.

"I'm sure that many in this class have the potential to become a great leader, but in my opinion, Izuku is the best option. He may have a lot to work on, but you cannot deny that his presence and actions alone gave others the motivation to follow; a leader that leads by example. That is why."

Percy's speech had earned many nods from his classmates as almost everyone now agreed with the results after hearing his explanation. Bakugo, meanwhile, grumbled as he sat back down, defeated and feeling humiliated. Percy saw this and sighed as he did not mean to, and only wanted to share his opinion.

"Now that you say it like that, you have a good point."

"Midoriya was very manly and pumped me up!"

"Hmm, you might be right Percy"

"Midoriya definitely deserves to be the president"

The whole class agreed with Izuku's presidency, except for the few that didn't think so like Katsuki. Meanwhile, Iida was on his seat as he hung his head low in disappointment.

"Zero votes…I knew it…it's a sacred job after all." Iida says, earning himself looks of pity and bewilderment from his peers as he had not voted for himself, unlike what many others did.

"He voted for someone else?"

"And he wanted to do it too…"

"What are you thinking Iida?"

( - )

Izuku shook nervously where he stood, as he could feel the stares from his classmates all pointed at him. He stood beside Yaoyorozu in front of the class as they were both about to be announced as the President and Vice-President.

Momo had a different expression though as she looked more calm on the outside. On the inside, she felt gratitude and flattery due to recent events. She and Percy had come to a tie earlier in terms of votes, but Percy relinquished himself from the elections as he said that he felt that Yaoyorozu was a better pick.

"Okay, so Midoriya Izuku is the president and the vice-president is Yaoyorozu Momo." Aizawa announced, simply reiterating the results of the election before falling back onto the ground and going back to sleep.

The class mostly agreed on the results.

"I think those two were a good choice"

"Yeah! Midoriya can be pretty fired up!"

"Yaoyorozu too! She was cool when she explained the battle results!"

As the elections for the President and Vice-President concluded, so did the homeroom period.

( - )

Percy entered the lunch rush cafeteria as he began looking for a vacant seat. The place was still very packed like any other day, but this time he was lucky enough to find a completely empty one by the side, so he took advantage of the chance and sat there.

As he sat there, Percy could easily spot his other fellow classmates who were in the cafeteria like him. Most of them found a spot and formed a group with each other, but some were still looking for a seat and as chance would have it, Todoroki and Yaoyorozu were among those students.

Percy waved at the pair, catching both's attention easily.

'Sit with me?' Percy mouthed at them, which both understood as they nodded at him. They went over to Percy's spot and took a seat with him. Todoroki sat on the opposite side of Percy, while Momo took the free spot beside Percy.

"Hey guys." Percy smiled, earning a nod from Todoroki. "We should probably order something first, I'm starving." He says.

"I agree." Momo says.

Todoroki just nods…again.

With that, Percy, Todoroki and Momo ordered their food. Lunch Rush was able to take their orders and serve them quite fast, stunning Percy but he wasn't exactly complaining as he ate.

Percy enjoyed the food a lot as he devoured them hungrily. He stopped though as he noticed the looks he was being given by both Todoroki and Yaoyorozu. He saw them both eat, the way they ate was more…civilized compared to him, causing him to be slightly embarrassed by his actions.

Their table was soundless as the trio ate silently. Percy thought it was awkward, but it didn't seem that way for the two as they both looked happy with the silence; he was most likely wrong as he could hardly read them.

It was Yaoyorozu this time who had actually broken the silence as she spoke, "Thank you." She says softly.

"What?" Percy asks, as he did not hear what she said.

"Thank you." Momo repeats.

Percy cocked a brow. "For what?"

"What you said earlier when you stepped down to let me get the position of vice-president." Momo explains, while smiling. Percy had given a short explanation of reasoning for why he had stepped down as most of the class were surprised; he was able to convince them and it flattered her that he trusted her this much.

"No problem. I saw how you took charge when we were paired up, and with your intellect I'm sure you'd do great as vice-president." Percy smiles back.

Momo resumed eating as she took another bite from her meal.

"Yaoyorozu, that's a lot. Are you sure you can finish all that?" Percy asks, as he stares at the big portions of food that Momo had on her plate, which he surprisingly only noticed now; earning himself a mental facepalm from himself.

"Yes, I can. It's actually a necessity if I want to be able to use my quirk to the best of it's abilities." Momo explains.

"Wasn't your quirk the ability to create non-living materials? What does eating have to do with your quirk?" Percy asks.

"Using my quirk a lot, burns a significant amount of body fat. Therefore, I need to consume a lot of food for me to be able to use my quirk more efficiently." Momo answers, pausing for a few moments as she narrowed her gaze at Percy before continuing.

"Anyway, I think we've talked enough about me. Why don't we talk about you, Percy?" She asks, catching Todoroki's attention as he looks at Percy.

"Me?" Percy asks.

"Yes. Up until now, we've only talked about me or Todoroki; we don't know much about you." Momo says, as Todoroki nods in agreement.

"Oh right, I forgot about that. Where do I start…" Percy trails off. "Alright. Like I said before, my name's Percy Jackson. My quirk is Water Manipulation, which works exactly how it sounds. My favorite color is blue. I love blue cookies, the beach and my mom. She's the best." He smiles.

At the mention of the word, 'mom', Todoroki frowned. He winced as he began having some less than desirable memories come flooding back.

Momo raised a brow. "Blue cookies?" She asks.

"Yes. Blue cookies~" Percy says with a dreamy look in his eyes as he smiles. "They're the best."

"Okay." Yaoyorozu says, not really knowing what blue cookies were. "They must taste scrumptious I assume."

"Yes, very. My mom's the best baker, chef and mother in the whole world." Percy says with a grin.

"Your mother…what is her occupation?" Momo asks.

"She works at a local confectionery, but she's also an author! An aspiring one, more of. She hasn't really published any books because she had me at an early age." Percy admits, feeling a little guilty.

He remembered a time when he had caught his mother writing. He asked her what she was doing at the time, but Sally had just passed it off some hobby. But, one day he overheard a conversation between her and Mitsuki, Katsuki's mom. Supposedly, Sally had always wanted to become an author, but after getting pregnant and being abandoned by her birth father, she had to give up her dream to make sure Percy could live comfortably and without worries.

Seeing the sad look on Percy's face as he reminisced, Momo coughed, getting Percy's attention.

"You're surprisingly really good at fighting. You might actually be the best among all the first years in terms of quirk mastery, hand-to-hand combat and weapon mastery. And that's only from me watching you fight once." Momo says.

Todoroki didn't show it, but he had to agree as well. He had utterly lost to Percy in every sense of the word. And realising that Percy held back dealt a blow to his pride, giving him another reason why he had to get stronger. He looked down onto his hands and clenched them tight with determination.

No. 'I will get stronger.' Todoroki thought.

"Was your mother a hero perhaps?" Momo asks. "Did she train you?"

"No, don't get me wrong though. Even if my mom's not a fighter, you do not want her to see when she's mad." Percy chuckles as he feels a shiver run down his spine.

"Ah, so your father must have taught you." Momo assumes, prompting Todoroki to look at Percy with even more curiosity in his eyes as he did so.

"No, actually. I don't even know my dad. My mom didn't really tell me much about him, but my aunt said he abandoned my mom and I." Percy laughed it off, but stopped as he caught sight of the look of pity he received from Momo. "I'm fine without him though. My mom and I alone are enough and I'm happy." He smiled.

"Oh. My apologies, I—"

"Hey no, look, it's fine." Percy interrupted Momo.

"Okay, then. Who was your mentor?" Momo asks.

Percy sweat nervously, feeling as if he was cornered under the gazes of Todoroki and Yaoyorozu. He would most likely get caught lying, so he scrambled to find how he should reply, losing more time with each moment that passed.

"Uh well—"

RING RING RING RING RING

Percy, Yaoyorozu and Todoroki looked around for the source of the alarm as a voice echoed throughout the cafeteria.

Security Three has been broken. Evacuate to the rooftop.

Ignoring the chaos that broke out after the announcement, Percy turned to Todoroki and Momo, who kept a calm expression unlike the others.

"What is security three?" Percy asks, hoping to get some answers before he evacuated.

"If I remember correctly, it means someone has infiltrated the school and entered the campus." Momo answered and that was all Percy needed to hear as he stood up.

"Okay then, well you heard that voice. Let's get to the rooftop." Percy says, earning a nod from the two as they all follow the crowd, who were supposedly running towards the evacuation route.

Just as Percy had followed the very nervous and rowdy crowd, he was immediately swept away by the stampede, not being able to see anyone. He couldn't see Iida, Uraraka, Izuku, Katsuki, Todoroki or Yaoyorozu as he was pushed around. Before he knew it, Percy found himself pressed against a window, feeling as if he was being squashed.

He couldn't move a single bit, as he was being crushed by the panicked crowd.

'If I knew this was how I'd be going out, I would've eaten blue pancakes for breakfast today!' Percy thought, as he felt himself having a hard time breathing.

'There could've been worse ways than this though' Percy closed his eyes.

"EVERYONE! IT'S ALL RIGHT!" The loud voice boomed, catching everyone's attention as Percy felt less pressured against the window. He was able to look properly this time at the source of the voice and found Iida; the blue-haired boy's legs shook as they struggled to keep their balance.

"It's the press! There is nothing to panic about! So don't worry! This is U.A, let's act in a way that reflects the values we've been taught by this prestigious school!" Iida says, as the student masses began sighing in relief and began dispersing.

Percy was relieved more by the fact that he could breathe and move, as he met up with his classmates who were nearby. Reuniting with Yaoyorozu and Todoroki, Percy then went back to the classroom with them.

( - )

"Let's begin, class president." Momo says, standing beside a very nervous Izuku, as he was flustered from standing in front of so many people.

All of 1-A had returned to the classroom after the small incident, unscathed; except for Percy that is.

"N-now we will decide on who will be our other class officers." Izuku announced stutteringly. "But, can I say something before we proceed?" He says.

"I think Iida Tenya should be the class president!" Izuku finally blurted out, shocking everyone but not as much as Iida himself. "He took control in such a situation like earlier and in a cool way at that. I think it's only right that he becomes president." He smiles.

Percy grinned from his seat at Izuku's decision to step down. Iida was a great choice for president and would no doubt perform his presidential duties to the best of his abilities.

Except for Bakugo, again, everyone else didn't seem to mind the decision and even agreed with Izuku much to Iida's surprise…and gratitude.

"I'm fine with that too, if Midoriya thinks so. Iida did do the most in the cafeteria"

"You're right. And he practically was the exit sign"

"Stop wasting time." Aizawa suddenly pipes up out of the blue, completely scaring the life out of Izuku who had forgotten that he was still in the room, just napping in his sleeping bag. "I don't care, so just hurry up." He says before falling back down onto the ground.

Iida closed his eyes, resisting the urge to tear up at his peers' encouragement and acceptance. He stood up from his seat slowly and spoke, "If it's the class president's wish…"

Iida raised his entire arm up as high as he could. "I, Iida Tenya, will promise to fulfill the class president's duty from now on."

"You go! Exit boy!"

"Exit boy Iida! We're counting on you!"

"What about my position?"

( - )

(The Next Day)

"It's been decided that today's hero basics class will be taught by All Might, another hero and I." Aizawa says, drawing looks of surprise from the class.

Percy wondered what he and the class would learn today, but before he could ask the question, an arm blocked his view belonging to Sero Hanta who raised his hand before Percy could.

"What will we be doing?" Sero asks.

"Anything from disasters to shipwrecks. Rescue training." Aizawa answers, exciting the class and pumping them up.

"Woah"

"Rescue training? This seems tough"

"I agree!"

"Are you serious? This'll be great! It's the epitome of Hero Work! My arms are rumbling!"

"Water disasters are my forte, ribbit"

"Oi oi, I'm still talking." Aizawa says sternly, getting the class to effectively shut up…for the time being. "For this training, you can choose to wear your costume or not, because some of them might hinder your movement." He says, pressing a button as the compartments that held everyone's costumes appeared from the wall.

"The training area is a little far, so we'll travel by bus."

( - )

"Hey Todoroki, mind if I take a seat?" Percy asked as he approached the son of Endeavor. He sat beside him as Todoroki nodded in reply.

For once, it was actually Todoroki who had spoken first as Percy took his seat.

"Why do you keep hanging around me?" Todoroki asks. "Kirishima is over there by the one with yellow hair. Yaoyorozu is just right there. So why sit next to me?" He asks.

"Hmm why? It's simple actually." Percy said and before he could say more his eyes landed on the bus that just arrived. "Let's continue talking on the bus." He says as he stands up.

Todoroki nodded as he stood as well.

It was at this moment that Iida used the whistle he had on hand to grab everyone's attention as he spoke.

"Gather up! Class 1-A!" Iida instructed loudly. "To enter the bus smoothly, let's line up in order in two rows!"

"That's our queue, let's go."

( - )

Todoroki looked to Percy, waiting for him to speak as they had both just sat down beside each other. They chose a pair of vacant seats by the window.

"I thought it was obvious. I keep hanging around you, because I want to be your friend." Percy shrugged.

"Why?" Todoroki asks.

"Why? I don't know. I guess I just wanted to be your friend, we haven't talked much and I'm assuming it's because you don't want to open up yet. So I want to help you open up to me cause I want to be your friend." Percy answered.

"You have Yaoyorozu, Midoriya, Kirishima, Bakugo, though I don't know how he's your friend and I'm sure many more." Todoroki says, listing the names of who he's seen Percy converse with.

"You may be right, but what's wrong with us being friends? I'd like to be your friend. Do you want to be my friend too?" Percy asks. He sees Todoroki hesitate to speak for a few seconds before actually talking.

"What do friends do exactly…" Todoroki says, sounding clueless. Both boys went silent, the voices of their other classmates talking in the background could be easily heard.

Percy began to chuckle, holding back his laughter. "I'm sorry, but are you serious?" He asks, getting Todoroki to cock his head to the side, showing that he really didn't know.

He stopped chuckling, as he felt sad for Todoroki. "So you've never had a friend before?" Percy asks, as Todoroki shook his head in response.

"I see. I don't really know the meaning of what a friend is either but I think a friend is someone you can trust with everything. Your secrets, your fears, everything. Someone who would always be there to help you when you need it and someone who'll always be by your side." Percy says as he sighs.

"I can't really give you any reason to trust me, Todoroki. I know that I barely know anything about you and vice versa, but I'd like to be your first friend if you'd let me. You don't need to trust me right away, but you could give me a chance." Percy smiles.

Todoroki didn't say anything in reply as he didn't know how to. He instead avoided the green-eyed boy's gaze and looked out into the window as the bus drove towards its destination.

Percy smiled at Todoroki's reaction, as he wasn't exactly rejected so Todoroki would be thinking it over at the least. He turned to look at where all the noise was coming from and watched Izuku talk to his classmates, making him happy to see it. He hasn't spoken to the green-haired boy in a while, and Izuku was doing great without him.

He thought of talking to Izuku again from time to time. Percy wanted for Izuku to grow without him, but that didn't mean he should avoid him forever, Izuku was still his best friend.

"Todoroki, Bakugo and Percy's are the most showy and strong!" Kirishima says, causing everyone to look at the class' strongest students.

Percy was flattered by the words as he turned to look at Todoroki and chuckled softly at the sight he saw. Todoroki was fast asleep.

"Bakugo is always pissed off, so he'll never become popular." Tsuyu says boldly, shocking Izuku and causing Bakugo to jump up from his seat, easily aggravated by Asui's remarks.

"What the hell! I will!" Bakugo retorts. "You see." Tsuyu says, pointing at the quickly enraged Bakugo as if to prove her point.

"It's amazing that we've all just met, but we all know your personality is like crap stewed in sewage." Kaminari adds as well with a grin, shocking Izuku more who by now was hiding his face as he had never seen anyone talk like that to Bakugo in his previous school.

Percy chuckled at the scene unfolding. Seeing others openly talk about Bakugo's short temper was very fun to see. As he turned to Todoroki who was still asleep, Percy was astonished that he was still awake with all the shouting, especially from Bakugo who literally sat in front of them.

"We're almost there, that's enough!" Aizawa yelled from the front, shutting everyone up.

"Yes!"

"We were waiting for you!" The hero who awaited class 1-A greeted them. The hero looked like an astronaut due to her puffy white space suit and black helmet resembling the apparel that astronauts usually wore.

The class gasped in shock and admiration as they recognised the pro hero in front of them.

"It's Space Hero No.13! She's a gentleman hero who excels at disaster relief!"

"I love No.13!"

"Let's go inside." No.13 says, gesturing for the 1-A to follow, which they happily did.

"Thank you very much!"

The whole class gaped at the sight inside once they had entered.

"Wow!"

"Is this Universal studios?!"

The whole place itself was huge. That was easily concluded from the inside and the huge dome that covered the top. There were multiple other facilities within as well, varying in different dangerous environments that pro heroes would eventually encounter in their career.

"Shipwrecks, mudslides, fires, storms and many more…" No.13 says, listing some of the many disasters that were available in the facility as she stretched out her arms. "I built this training center to prepare for any accident or natural disaster."

"It's called the Ultimate Simulation Joint or USJ for short!" No.13 says with pride.

"It really was USJ…"

Aizawa went to No.13, looking around while he did so as he noticed the absence of their third teacher.

"No.13, where's All Might?" Aizawa asks. "He's supposed to come here and help teach the kids."

No.13 inched closer to Aizawa and lowered the volume of her voice as she spoke, "Actually, on his way to work, he used up most of his power and is resting at the moment."

Aizawa sighs, "He is so illogical."

'We'll take precautions just in case." Aizawa thought, feeling a sense of cautiousness.

"It can't be helped, let's begin." Aizawa announces, loud enough for everyone to hear as he steps aside to let No.13 have the chance to speak.

"Before we start, I would like to say a thing or two or three or four or five or six…" No.13 says, trailing off before continuing. "As you all know, my quirk is called Black Hole. I can suck in anything and turn it into dust." She explains.

"You can help people from any disaster, right?" Izuku asks with a smile.

"Yes, but it's also a power that can easily kill people." No.13 says, stating the sad truth as most of the class' and people's quirks in general are capable of taking lives. "I'm sure some of you are the same too. In this superhuman society, quirks are certified and strictly monitored so it may seem organized. But please remember that each one of you have quirks that can easily kill someone with one mistake."

"In Aizawa's physical test, you saw your own power's potential. In All Might's battle training, you saw the dangers of using those powers against other people." No.13 says, recounting the class' previous training lessons. "This lesson will be different. In this training, we'll be learning how to rescue people using your quirks. I want you to go home after today knowing that your powers exist not to hurt people, but to save them."

"That will be all, thank you for listening." No.13 says with a bow, earning a standing ovation from the class.

"Wonderful!"

"Bravo! Bravo!"

"So anyway, first we will—" Aizawa is cut off by an electrical sound as the lights in the USJ suddenly get turned off.

Aizawa widens his eyes as his whole body tenses. He quickly turns around from the class to find a dark purple vortex-like portal appearing in the middle of the USJ.

"What is that?"

"Are those fake villains?"

AN : Anddd done! Hope you all enjoyed the chapter! If so, then please follow and favourite, it will be greatly appreciated! If not, then you don't need to. Also Review! I'd like to hear all your thoughts, comments and as always, constructive criticism is always welcome!

So with this chapter, we officially start with the USJ arc! I'm afraid to say though that the next update might take a while since I'll be predominantly working on my new story this month. I'm hoping to get the first 2 chapters out by New Year's. I won't be giving out too much info on it other than it'll be a pjo crossover. Specifically, a Percy Jackson and Young Justice crossover. So that should give you an idea, though it'll be different from most I've read.

Now. I'm sure that most of you could notice that some of your favorite authors are updating their stories. Like Lildrummerboi, Greed720 and Curious Beats! That is because Beats has organised a mass update among the authors in the EL server during December 25 as a way for us authors to give back to the community.

The Emerald Library discord server is a place where both readers and authors can hang out, chat, brainstorm ideas and many more. The link to join is in my profile (It won't expire).

Anyway, that's all for now! See you all in the next chapter! And once again, Merry Christmas everybody!
