There is a secret, most don't know of it and those that do have sworn on the Styx never to reveal. This is the story of that secret and of the most battle-hardened immortal since Lady Chaos herself.

Our story starts before the death of Kronos, when the firstborn had arrived into the world; Perseus was his name, he was given the title of minor Titan of time and even had the honour of being given the blessing of Nyx and Erebus. Then the other six children were born-Hera, Demeter, Hestia, Poisidon, Hades and Zeus- these children were different because they were smaller and not as well built; to avoid the Titans talking about how unfit to rule Kronos was because of his weird children he decided to eat them but the Big Three fought back and managed to slay him.

After that Perseus was banished, much to the regret of the three sisters, never to be seen again. Most believed he had faded while others believe he gave up his immortality and chose to die as a mortal.

Thousands of years later, we visit America; more precisely Maine-there a manticore held two children hostage. Next to him stood three demigods and a satyr whilst in the forest where a group of a hunters led by a silver-eyed goddess had there bows raised at the beast. What none of them saw was a man donning a black cloak that shimmered in the night. A steel sword inlaid with imperial gold hung by his side while a bow, representative of the night sky, hung off his back; he had other weapons but none more lethal than those.

The demigods managed to rip the children free from the beast but lost one of their number in the action. The blonde girl with grey eyes had an arm around her back and was being used as a shield from the hunters, but suddenly a black arrow appeared out of nowhere to hit it in the back.
