Two blurs battled for supremacy under an open sky. From where a blue, mechanical figure sat on a stony cliff the roar of red-hot engines was somewhat audible. The blue figure was in awe of the speeds the red and purple blurs were achieving. All of the sudden the blue machine straightened up its effeminately-styled figure and began to run down the mountain. She hopped gracefully from boulder to boulder and to the bottom of the mountain where she continued to run until she seemed to think better of it. In a whirl of gears and mechanical reconstruction a three-wheeled vehicle took off from where the blue figure once was. In a flash the vehicle was gone, once again moving towards the road where the two blurs had finally ended their duel. On earth, her speeds would be met with awe, here, it was merely average.

The purplish blur barely slowed as it crossed the race-ending mark, so you could hardly see the vehicle creating it until something else was standing where it once was. A purple titan of mechanical engineering, like the blue one, but with a more masculine demeanor stood and waited for the other blur who didn't take long to arrive. The red blur changed too, it was more masculine in appearance than anything else, but the other figure didn't seem the least bit surprised to hear her voice.

"You win again Dirtboss, fair and square…" The red and white figure stated.

The one called Dirtboss smirked; two green optical sensors glinted in the bright light of a nearby star. He began to nod, "But barely…"

He looked off into the distance towards a quickly approaching cloud of sand. "We have a guest," Dirtboss pointed out thoughtlessly, "I bet its Zipdash. You think she saw the whole thing?"

"Probably, for someone who doesn't like racing muc--"

"HEY GUYS!" An excited voice called from the distance, "YOU WERE BOTH INCREDIBLE!"

The explosive tricycle changed into the form the other two recognized as their friend Zipdash. She regained her balance and smiled widely at both of them. "Override! You were--"

"Hey! I won the race" Dirtboss raised his voice to make clear his slight annoyance.

"Cool it," the one called Override said, "Haven't you ever heard of 'saving the best for last'?"

Dirtboss started to get riled up now, "Yea-hah! I'm the best! Mach-Rocket better watch his back! Next stop, PLANET-WIDE CHAMPIONSHIP! A-HAHAHA!"

The other two stared at their overzealous comrade in disbelief. "Zipdash, how was your… um… thing?" Override queried, attempting to change the subject.

"The council could not be bothered right now so close to the Great Race." Zipdash said mockingly.

"Yeah, well racing is all anyone really cares about here. It's a shame that otherwise talented people have to suffer because of it." Override said watching Dirtboss as he began to punch the air like a boxer.

Zipdash grabbed her friend's arm excitedly, "Y-you think I'm talented!"

"You mean there are people who don't?" Override said in mock disbelief.

"You'd better watch it, Override. I think I'm falling in love with you all over again." Zipdash smiled, causing her friend some discomfort. Override's golden facial pseudoflesh seemed to turn red, but it could have just been the light.

Junk- Don't worry this thing's far from over...
