INTRODUCTION
Her name was Alexa Bellam Black. She was born in July, on the 20th in 1980. Her parents were Sirius Black and Eden Bitterwood. They were both members of the Order of the Phoenix and fought against Lord Voldemort and his Death Eaters during the First Wizarding War. When she was born, they named Remus Lupin her godfather, so in case something happened to them, he would take care of her. And exactly one year later, her mother, Eden, died, as she tried to protect the Longbottom's from Bellatrix Lestrange, and her father, Sirius, was found guilty for the murder of twelve muggles and Peter Pettigrew, and for the betrayal to the Potters. He was sentenced to life imprisonment in Azkaban. And so, Alexa ended up an orphan and living with her godfather, Remus Lupin.
She grew up happy next to "uncle Remus", like she used to call him. He was like a father to her. Those days of the month when he turned into a werewolf, he would leave Alex with Nymphadora Tonks, a "special friend" of his. Remus was happy to take care of her, and he loved her so, but sometimes it could be hard. Especially when she started to wonder about her parents. He didn't want to lie to her, but how could he tell her about her father, about the crimes that he had committed, or how her mother had tragically died…She didn't deserve to have such darkness in her life.
However, their little happy family would be broken soon…When she turned 10 years old, the Malfoys decided to intervene. Lucius Malfoy couldn't lose the chance of a Black being raised by his values, considering the fact that most of the Black family had turned to dark magic. Besides, Narcissa, Sirius's cousin, thought that Alexa belonged with her family more than with an outsider such as Remus. And he was not pure blood, he didn't have the right to raise the little girl. They talked to the ministry of magic, and using their influence, they managed to take custody of Alexa.
And just like that her life changed. Narcissa was not that bad, but Lucius…he was an awful person and an even worse father. He inflicted fear on his only son, Draco, and tried to do the same with Alex. But she was quite a challenge. Lucius would regret his choice of taking Alex away from Remus soon enough, but it was too late to give her back. She was rebellious, even when she was with Remus, she never listened. Adults telling her what to do or how to behave? Yeah, that was a no. Lucky her, she wasn't alone at that house. Draco seemed difficult at first, but when you got to know him (and whenever Lucius wasn't around), he was nice enough to like him. They became really good friends, and they kept each other company and sane in the madhouse that was the Malfoy's manor.
However, Lucius saw in that friendship the opportunity to control Alexa. Whenever she didn't listen or rebelled against him, he would punish Draco instead of her. In order to keep her friend as safe as possible, she learned to behave as good as possible around that awful man. That included shutting up every time he said something bad to her or Draco, doing whatever he asked for, and even agreeing with him on matters that she didn't like at all. Narcissa, on the other hand, treated her well enough. She loved her son, and having Alex around made him happy. It was very unusual to see Draco smile or have fun. So, if the little girl was able to accomplish such a difficult task, she was worth being treated well.
Author note:
I don't own the rights to any of the Harry Potter movies characters. All I own is this Alexa Black. Some of the paragraphs are taken from either the movie scripts or the books, in order to remain faithful to the story.
When I was a little girl I used to play movies and come up with a character of my own to be inside the screen. Alexa and other characters have been in my mind for two decades now, and I thought...why not share it with the world?
I hope you like my work. English is not my mother language, so I may have made some mistakes along the way. Thank you for reading. ^^
