Daniel, Cream & Tails: Musical Maestros

(Author's Notes: Hey everyone! How are you all doing? Well, I hope. Well, here is another chapter for my special Sonic story here that was requested by friend Author danielman21. I hope he likes this part.
Again, after I complete this and another Sonic story, I will be focusing on my own stories. I have already finished my Danny Phantom x Dragonball story, or at least the first book of a trilogy series that I plan to do. I plan to finish Star Vs. story soon, so wish me luck please.
Sigh… been enduring a LOT of changes that have been happening in my life as well as professional work. Sometimes… it overwhelms me that so much has changed, and will keep on changing from what I can see. I can only hope and pray to the Lord to help me steer and endure through it all.
Also, I wish to do this for my Tia Pamela Espurova-Allen. She is working with police and other official groups to locate and bring home a missing girl that is part of a family she works with & has befriended. Her name is Lina Khil, a little girl that was taken on December 20th, 2021. The search is still on for her, but so far… no luck.
Her information is this: She is three years old, hair brown, eyes brown, race Afghan, weight 55 lbs. & height 4'0. If any can help to locate and find her, please do so and notify the proper authorities. Hoping and praying still that she is found.
I do not own the plot, my new Author friend does. Neither of us own Sonic X, as it is a television animated series that was created in Japan. It was directed by Haijime Kamegaki, produced by Takeshi Sasamura & Tadahito Matsumoto. The original network is was broadcasted from is TV Tokyo in Japan, and in the United States by many other networks such as Disney Channel, Jetix, Fox, 4Kids TV and more. It ran from April 2003 to April 2005.
Now, on with the story!)
Vanilla Rabbit felt the raw emotion that was coming from the young human. As a mother, she had a special sixth sense in sensing something from young ones as she had experience when raising Cream and Cheese. Her smile never left her face as she spoke once more, "Young man, are you okay?".
Danny looked towards the owner of the voice, amazed and a little scared on the situation. Well… more amazed than scared but it was natural for someone his age. He answered in a small voice that had a timid tone to it, "I… I think so. A-Are you V-Vanilla Rabbit?".
Said motherly woman had a surprised look on her face, as did Tails, Cream and Cheese. She asked the young human, "Oh? How is it that you know me?".
Tails added in, "And also, how did you even get here?". Danny flinched slightly from the sudden question, Tails seeing it and regretting his actions like so. It was in Tails' nature as he was quite inquisitive, but he felt that he may have jumped the gun a little.
Cream decided to rectify her brother's actions and spoke up in a kind tone, "Please, don't be afraid. We won't hurt you. We're just a bit curious on how you know my mother, and also how you got here.".
The kind of tone she used made Danny feel at ease, Cream's natural charm & presence making him feel a bit more secure around them. He answered in a tone that was a bit louder but still soft at the same time, "Well… I'm okay. Just a bit… hurt in some places.".
Vanilla added in her kind, motherly tone, "Ah, that think that was when you landed in the forest where I found you. Nothing a little ointment and bandages cannot fix.".
Danny looked to her, smiled at the sound of medical treatment and said to her, "Thank you very much! You're like mommy when I get hurt!". While he may have not seen his folks much due to their work, they did care for their child and his mother would get a bit like a mother hen whenever he would get hurt.
Tails than asked the question, "Speaking of which, is she here with you?".
The young human lad quickly got a puzzled look on his face as he racked his brain, and quickly the memory on what happened earlier came back to him strongly! He answered, "I-I don't know. Mommy and Daddy used to talk about you a lot, along with your friend Sonic. They said their job was trying to find a way to reach you and the place you all lived in. They even had pictures of all of you, and that's how I know you.". He looked towards Vanilla to emphasize his point.
Daniel continued on, "I… I remember sneaking in place they worked in because… they missed my birthday. I turned this many years old!". He put up his left hand with all digits up, and his right hand with two digits raised to show that he was now seven years old.
Vanilla had a small frown on her face as to her, missing a child's birthday was an offense to her. She felt that every child should be joyful when it was their birthday, which was like a milestone that should be celebrated very much.
Cream managed to brighten him up a little by saying in her cute voice, "Wow! Seven years old! Happy birthday to you!". Cheese exclaimed the same thing in his native tongue, the proclamations bringing a warmth to the heart of the human and it showed with the smile on his face. Vanilla was proud of her daughter for doing that, Tails also proud of his sister for the same thing.
Danny replied in an exuberant tone, "Thank you Cream Rabbit! And you too… umm… ah, yes! Cheese!". The duo were glad by his words, especially the blue Chao.
Tails than inquired, "So, what happened when you snuck into the place your parents worked for?".
The human child looked to the best friend of Sonic and answered, "Well, I saw Mommy and Daddy inside a large glass room with other people. I snuck into the room and was going to call out to them, but… I saw a large ring that was filled with light. And it was so pretty that I started to go towards it. And when I went inside… I was flying through the light and then… I went to sleep, I think.".
Tails automatically put the pieces together; Danny's parents company had been experimenting in dimensional travel, somehow managed to do with the Thorndyke Industries did, but somehow Danny was the one that made the trip instead. He thought to himself, 'Danny must have been hypnotized by the light coming from the dimensional gateway that was used, and when he was sucked in, most likely he experienced a sensory overload that caused him to blackout.'.
Vanilla took the little guy into a tender hug and said, "Well, I am glad I found you when I did. And until your parents come for you, how about I take care of you?".
Despite the situation, Danny was still a young child so he easily distracted. A wide smile blossomed on his face as he exclaimed, "Yay! I would love for you to take care of me, Ms. Vanilla!". He then embraced her in a hug, the motherly anthro rabbit smiling & giggling a little as she returned the embrace.
Cream, Cheese and Tails saw that it was truly a heartwarming scene. But for the anthro fox, he also felt concern about two things. One was Daniel's situation, and also on the Technological Revolutions Inc. that his parents were part of.
He thought to himself yet again, 'I wonder if Chris and the others know about this? And also if there is something wrong with the portal on the other end at Earth?'. The two-tailed genius was smart in many aspects, and this much he knew. If Danny had come through the portal, than his parents most likely would have jumped to go after him. But since he was the only one that had come, according to Vanilla, then it opened two possibilities.
One- the portal was only stable enough for one person to go through, and when Danny walked through it, it must have become unstable and thus resulted in it either shutting down… or exploding. Outlooks that he hoped did not come to be.
Two- the portal was stable long enough for the parents to try and come through, but most likely the coordinates had changed due to the unseen complications created by Daniel's trip into it. So thus if they did come through after their son, than a likely conclusion was that they had been relocated somewhere else.
That other outlook was more better than the first one, and one hoped that Tails was true. IF it was true, then perhaps it would be best to make a locater that would target in on human signatures. Or more specifically on human DNA.
Tails was shaken out of his thoughts when he heard cries of joy, now seeing Cream and Danny embracing in a hug. Chao was floating around the two until he decided to plop on the head of the young human, who laughed and giggled as this was considered a dream come true for him.
He put on a small but true smile, walking over to the young one. When he got close enough, he extended his hand so that Daniel could shake it. The young child looked at it, than at Tails in hesitation. While he knew that the fox was a friend of the hero Sonic, he was still unsure. Cream smiled and said, "Hahaha! Don't worry, Tails is my big brother! He won't hurt you.".
This had Danny's eyes go big as this was new information for him. He looked to Vanilla for confirmation, looking to a motherly adult figure as his child mind automatically did. She smiled at him patiently and said, "Yes dear, Tails is my new son. I adopted him recently, and he is part of the family.".
Daniel quickly accepted the answer, extending his hand out and shaking Tails' hand. A new friendship had been born that day!
Vanilla looked to Cheese and asked, "Chesse, can you be a dear and get the bandages & ointment from the medicine cabinet in the kitchen?". The blue Chao floated off Danny's head, did a little salute that made the mother giggle a little, then flew off towards the kitchen. A few moments later, he came back with a white squeeze tube that had a red cross on it & a small box that contained Band-Aids.
She thanked him, taking the objects and looking towards Danny. She said to him, "Now Danny, can you please show me what part of your body hurts?".
The little human pointed to his right & left elbows, and also the back of his neck. She gestured for him to show her his right elbow first, which he did and all saw the scrape that was on it. Vanilla had a small frown on her face, but it soon changed back to a smile as she uncapped the tube & gave a gentle squeeze at the bottom.
White cream came forth, Vanilla taking a small bit of it on her finger and rubbing the substance on Danny's injured area. The small human yelped as the cream felt cold & also stung his scrape a little, but Cream managed to calm him down. After rubbing the area gently but thoroughly, Vanilla than applied one of the Band-Aids on him. The young human flexed his elbow a little, feeling that the sticky object stayed on him. She did the same thing to his other elbow, then asked if he could turn around.
He did so, and Vanilla looked back to see that a scrape that was slightly bigger & deeper than the others was on it. She frowned once more at the thought of the young one taking such a fall when he arrived to Mobius. She gently pried away from his person the collar of the shirt, looking to see if anything was below the visible scrape. Luckily for Daniel, the scrape did not go past his collar area.
Smiling softly that there was no further damage, she put the ointment on & the Band-Aid soon after. When she stated that she was all done, Danny smiled brilliantly at her and exclaimed, "Thank you Ms. Vanilla!". This sent a burst of warmth through the maternal rabbit, and it showed on her face.
While this was all good for Vanilla, she knew on what needed to be done now. She rose from the couch, looking to her son and asking, "Tails dear, can I talk with you for a moment in the kitchen?".
He was a bit surprised by this as he answered, "Oh, sure. Okay Mom.". Again, it made Vanilla's heart flutter in joy to hear such a word coming from her adopted son.
The lovely female anthro rose from her position on the couch, causing Cream and Danny to look at her quizzically. She turned to them with a smile and stated, "Excuse me kids, but I need to talk to Tails for a moment. Cream, how about you show Danny around outside?".
Knowing that her mother wanted to talk to Tails about something important, she answered back with a joyful tone, "Okay Mother! Danny, let me and Cheese show you what's outside! I bet you're going to like what we show you!". Chao also cheered, still perched on the young human's head.
Danny smiled and replied in a similar tone to Cream's, "Okay! Let's go Cream!". The two little ones laughed as they left the house, the door closing behind them thanks to Cheese.
When they were alone, Vanilla looked to her son and stated, "I think we need to call Sonic and tell him on what has happened. Can you reach him somehow?".
Tails rubbed the back of his head as he answered in an unsure tone, "I can try, but it won't be easy. You know how Sonic is…". The motherly rabbit nodded her head at that statement. Sonic always liked to be on the run, never staying in one place for too long. It would be considered very lucky, or a miracle that he was even at his own home.
Vanilla than asked, "What about Mr. Knuckles? Do you think he can help us with something like this?".
The young anthro fox thought on it for a moment, than answered in the same tone, "I'm not sure. While he is knowledge about the power of the Chaos and Master Emerald, I doubt that he would know anything else especially inter-universal travel that did not use them.".
The mother of Cream and Tails looked pensive for a few moments, then asked the million-dollar question, "Well… do you know anyone that can help us out with this situation?".
Tails let his thoughts speak out as he answered, "I'm not sure. Rouge may have worked with G.U.N. back on Earth, but I doubt that inter-world travel is her expertise. Amy Rose… well, she could help with Danny. And believe it or not, I think Team Chaotix can help out here.".
Vanilla knew that the team she was talking about consisted of Vector the Crocodile, Charmy Bee & Espio the Chameleon. She had a puzzled look on her face and inquired, "Oh? How can they help?".
The young lad looked to his mother and answered, "If, and I do mean if, Danny's parents came through the portal after their son, chances are high that they may have been brought to this world but in a different location. I can check my instruments, and if they are here, we can have Team Chaotix go out and look for them.".
The beautiful anthro bunny thought on this. While Team Chaotix was a bit… well, unorthodox and unpredictable, they did get bring in results. So after some thought, she looked to Tails and stated, "Okay then. See if you can get a hold of Sonic or Amy. And if you can find Danny's parents, let Team Chaotix know and have them find & bring them here.".
Tails nodded, saying that he would do his best. A warm smile on, Vanilla went to her son, bent down and gently kissed his forehead in appreciation. This brought a blue to the young fox, who thanked her before heading out the door. Vanilla was really hoping that her son would deliver, as she felt sorry for the poor human child. She walked towards the window, looking out the door to see her daughter & Chao companion now playing with the human child.
She smiled at the carefree attitude of the young one, and really hoped that she could make him feel comfortable until his parents could be found.
Meanwhile, Tails was in his workshop and going to the radio upstairs. He thought to himself, 'I hope that I can get in contact with Sonic or Amy. Looks like my music practice is going to be on hold for a bit.'.
Little did he know that Danny was actually going to help Tails and Cream with their musical predicament!
(Author's Notes: And… cut! That is it for now. I hope you all like this one. Danny is going to be in the care of Vanilla, and also it seems that he will be instrumental in Tails' little musical number when the time comes!
While it maybe in small portions, this special story will be done in full. That much I promise you all! And this will be a musical special that will blow Vanilla and hopefully the audience away with some wholesome goodness!
