Chapter 6: Birthday's and Beaches

Sam was now turning 16!
We then see Sam waking up in his bed.
He gave a small stretch as he sat up.
Sam realized it was his birthday.
He wasn't sure how to feel about that.
It would be the first birthday he would have without his adopted family.

Soon, the two made it to the room, where Vader was waiting.
Vader said, "ah, Sam, happy birthday!"
Sam smiled when his father hugged him.
At least the day was off to a good start.

Sam could smell some delicious food being prepared.
Sam then saw on another table, a lot of presents.
He wondered what most of them were.

Sam turned around and for a brief moment a flash of light blinded his eyes.
Sam rubbed his eyes as Alastor nearly tackled the one who took the picture, had Vader not stopped him.
"My eyes", Sam cried.
Alastor and Vader went over to Sam and held his shoulders until he regained his sight.
Sam yelled, "who did that?!"
It was then shown to be a photographer for the Holonet.
Sam asked, "why are they here?"
"They want to take photos of you celebrating your birthday, Sam", Vader explained.
Sam sighed as Alastor said, "I'm not sure that's a good idea."
"I can already see why", Vader muttered.
Sam hid behind his father and Alastor in order to get away from the camera.
Another reporter asked, "Emperor Vader, can we get another picture of the Prince?"
Vader said, "I think my son would rather you not."
The rest of the reporters tried to protest, but Vader told them to leave.
They were escorted out by several scouts.
"There Sam, those reporters are gone now", Vader said.
Sam sighed in relief and said, "thanks."
"Now come on, let's enjoy this day together", Vader said.
Sam nodded.
Even though Sam missed his adopted family and his friends from the Rebel Alliance, at least he could enjoy his time he had now.
Sam enjoyed the food and the presents he got. Most of his presents were new outfits.
He loved the new outfits he got.
Almost all of them were women's clothing.
And Sam was grateful for that. He enjoyed women's clothing a lot more.
Lilith had given him two presents.
One was a beautiful blue dress, and the other was a new datapad.
Sam was very happy and grateful for the gifts.

And of course his father had gotten him a ton of presents. That being all the clothes he got, some jewelry, and a few wood carvings. Sam loved the gifts.
Alastor also got a gift for Sam.
He told Sam to open it once he got back to his room.
Sam and his father took a few photos together. They were very happy photos.
We then see Sam and Alastor in the latter's room.
Sam then opened Alastor's gift and he gasped in awe.
Sitting in the box was Polly, but somehow, she was smiling and blinking at him!
She was alive!

Polly started giggling as she jumped into Sam's arms!

Polly giggled and pointed to a note in the box she hopped out of.
Sam grabbed the note and read it.

"Well, we will have to wait and see", Sam said.

"Don't worry, if anyone comes into the room, I can still act like I'm a toy", Polly said.
Sam gave Polly a thumbs up.
Sam then left his room and turned to see Alastor only a few feet from his room, keeping a lookout for danger.
Sam smiled as he ran over to give Alastor a hug.
Alastor was shocked when he was basically tackled to the floor in a hug.
"Thank you for the gift Alastor", Sam said as he sobbed.
Alastor held Sam close as they both got to their feet and he said, "you're welcome, Sam."
Sam then gave Alastor a kiss on the cheek.
Both of them went wide-eyed when THAT happened.

As did Alastor.

Sam got a laugh from his father's reaction to Polly being alive.

Vader asked, "I did?"
Polly and Sam nodded.
"All because you saw Polly", Sam said.
Vader groaned as he stood up.
Sam walked over and helped his father stand up.
Sam asked, "you feel okay now Dad?"
Vader nodded and said, "I was just shocked, that's all."
"Well, I'll explain how Polly is alive right now", Sam said.

One explanation later….
Vader simply said, "woah."
Sam smiled. As did Polly.
"Before I fainted, I had another gift for you my son", Vader said.
Sam asked, "what other gift?"
Vader said, "I've arranged for you to have a vacation at me and Padme's old summer home on Naboo. Alastor will accompany you there to protect you."

Vader then hugged his son.

Sam nodded and said, "I will, Dad."

Sam is left in awe at the sight of the summer home.
