Battle of the Bands
It was a dark day in Alexandria Kingdom. Vivi was off somewhere tripping and adjusting his hat. Freya was sharpening her spear. Steiner was watching Vivi, constantly calling him calling him master. Quina was eating a butchers knife she found laying on the kitchen ground, next to a dead body. Dagger, who was now addicted to pie, was fulfilling her addiction. Eiko was looking for Zidane with a proposal ring. Armarant was leaning on a wall, trying to look cool. Zidane, however, was running into the castle with flyers in hand. As he ran, he grabbed everyone and took them into the kitchen, where he grabbed some bags of sugar. He instantly gulped them all down.
"Hey! Hey, guys! When I was at the sugar factory I got some flyers for a contest!" Zidane said, while everyone stared at him. "While you were there, did you eat any sugar?" Freya asked. "Oh, only a couple of sugary, delectible pounds!" Zidane said, still jittering. Everyone slapped Zidane. "Thanks. I needed that. Anyway, these flyers I found, they are about battle of the bands!" Zidane said, calming down. "Oh, no!" Dagger began, looking for pie mix. "You remember what happened last year when we entered that!"
Flashback
Lights were glimmering on a stage, as a man with a microphone ran onto stage. Zidane stood in the backround with a bass guitar hanging from his neck. Armarant was next to him with a regular electric guitar. Vivi was behind them both on a drum set. Freya was supporting a cello. Eiko was in front of Zidane with a flute.
"Good evening, and welcome to battle of the bands!" The announcer said. "First up, we have 'The Crystals'!" As he said this, Zidane ran up to him and whispered something. "Hold on, I've just recieved news their lead singer has gotten pie poisoning. Sorry guys, but you need to use the back up singer we have prepared for sick band members!" The announcer finished. He signaled for the back-up singer to come on stage. A few seconds after he signaled, Quina walked on stage, as Vivi performed a rimshot.
End flashback
Quina looked insulted. "Just because I bad singer doesn't mean it my fault you come in second place! It my job, and it my job again!" "It wasn't your fault Quina," Eiko began, "It's Dagger's! If she didn't like pie so much, none of this would have happened! I vote we kick her out! We lost last year because of her, AND she stole Zidane from me!" Dagger, who was now holding Zidane's dagger, lunged at Eiko. They now couldn't be seen behind the cloud of smoke coming from the fight. Zidane ignored the fight. "So, are you guys in?" Everyone agreed. They all were now paying attention to the fight. Eiko and Dagger rolled around on the floor for a while. Eventually, they rolled out a window.
"Princess!" Zidane said, jumping out the window.
"Zidane!" Vivi said, following Zidane out the window.
"Master!" Steiner called, quickly following suit.
Quina, Freya and Armarant kind of just stood there for a few moments. "Should we go watch?" Armarant asked. "Yes!" Quina said, following Armarant and Freya down the stairs, through the door, into the outside world. Everyone who jumped out the window were now laying on the ground. "So... should we go practice?" Zidane asked, getting up. Everyone agreed and they walked back into the castle.
