A/N: Before getting started, there's something I want to bring up. There were a few people that I saw doing it so I'm just going to say is that I enjoy writing chapters for my fanfics and I appreciate when people give reviews, especially constructive reviews for my fics but what I do not enjoy is people who plagiarize my chapters as in copying them word by word and put them in their fics. It's not cool, it's disrespectful and it makes me wonder if I should actually continue and worry if my work gets plagiarize. Thankfully those people who did had their fics deleted but still it's annoying to have to worry about people plagiarizing other people's work. Anyway I just wanted to put it out there. Now on to the chapter.

Shirley's Decision

The Lionel and the Morgause fought each other with intensity. They pushed each other back and quickly charged towards each other again. Cornelia's Gloucester was taken down by the Lucan and was pinned by the Vierge. The pilot of the Morgause saw what was happening with Cornelia and rushed over towards the Lucan and Vierge and forced them away from Cornelia. The Lionel was closing in behind her but the Morgause surprised the Lionel when the Knightmare quickly spun and wrapped the Lionel with its Slash Harkens and spun and launched the black Knightmare. Zero was shocked at what was happening as he and his Knightmare were in the air. The Morgause grabbed Cornelia's Gloucester and retreated. Suzaku in the Lancelot saw this and tried to join with Nonette and Cornelia but was stopped by the Guren piloted by Kallen and Suzaku was forced to fight off the Guren and they both headed off to a direction. Meanwhile, the Gloucesters that were piloted by Guilford and Darlton were sent flying out of the ship and they crashed on the ground. The limbs of both Gloucesters were gone and the Seiryu and the Fenrir landed on the ground and pointed the weapons at the fallen Knightmares. Several Burais that were piloted by most of members of Naoto's group arrived and surrounded Guilford and Darlton.

"Damn it!" Guilford said angry, "This can't be happening!"

"Oh but it is," Rai said.

"You two," Naoto said, "you two are done."

They got a sudden signature and they look and were surprised to see the Lancelot. The Lancelot charged toward them and forced them to move away.

"Damn, the Lancelot!" Rai said.

"Ah damn it!" Tamaki said annoyed, "Now the traitor shows up!"

The Lancelot got in front of the Gloucesters of Guilford and Darlton.

"Are you two all right?" Suzaku asked.

"Warrant Officer Kururugi!" Darlton said, "I did not expect you to come to our aid."

"Wait, what happened to Her Highness?" Guilford asked, "You were with her, were you not?"

"Viceroy Cornelia is being protected by Lady Enneagram," Suzaku informed.

"So then why are you—?" Darlton spoke.

"Did you really think that you were going to get away?" Kallen's voice spoke.

The Guren charged in and the Lancelot blocked the attack.

In the cockpit of several Knightmares, members of the Black Knights were relieved to see Kallen was okay.

"Just so you know," Suzaku said, "I wasn't running."

"Oh I see, trying to help out your Britannian masters?" Kallen asked sarcastically.

In the cockpit of the Lancelot, Suzaku narrowed his eyes and clenched his teeth.

"That voice," Suzaku said in his head, "the pitch of the voice is different but it sounds like I heard it before. Who is she?"

Meanwhile Villetta pointed her gun at Colonel Madd and demanded that he put his hands up with Shirley and her father Joseph looking on. Madd just looked over to Villetta with silence.

"You were the one who was behind that scheme in Narita," Villetta said with a glare, "you convinced my former colleague to kill this man for your own schemes."

"Tch, those fools couldn't do anything right," Madd commented, "all they had to was kill him. But instead, they wanted to make it a show and were dumb enough to let Zero be around."

"That's—" Villetta spoke upset that Madd admitted it nonchalantly.

There was a sudden crash and it caught everyone by surprise. They looked and were surprise to see the Lionel on the two large crates. The cockpit was opened and Zero shook his head.

"Damn, I didn't expect Nonette to be able to get me like this," Zero commented and then he glanced and was shocked to see the others, "What the…?"

"Z-Zero," Joseph spoke.

"Zero," Shirley said.

Villetta looked at Zero and she sported a grin while Madd saw Zero and clenched his teeth.

"Great and now we have this bastard as well," Madd said annoyed.

Zero was shocked to see Shirley, Joseph, Madd, and Villetta after his crash.

"Madd," Zero said in his head with disdain, "Why the hell is he here? No, that may not be important right now."

"It seems that luck is on our side," Villetta said and then she pointed her gun at Zero, "Zero, hands in the air."

"Wait, what are you doing?" Shirley asked.

"Do you really need to ask?" Villetta responded, "I'm going to have Zero taken in as well."

"No, you can't!" Shirley said.

"Uh yes I can actually," Villetta replied back, "Just stay out of this."

Madd looked on and saw that it was the perfect opportunity.

"It's unexpected," Madd said, "and…not unwanted," Madd looked and pointed at Joseph, "you won't be so luck next time."

Madd quickly turned and ran and Joseph, Shirley, and Zero saw Madd make his escape.

"Hey, that man is getting away," Shirley said.

Villetta saw that Madd was escaping but ignored him and just concentrated on Zero.

"Zero, keep your hands up and walk towards me slowly," Villetta demanded.

"Major Nu, what about Madd?" Joseph asked.

"Not now!" Villetta responded, "I have the real criminal in my sights so please be quiet."

"Real criminal?" Shirley asked, "Wait, what does that mean?"

"So you have no problem of just letting him go?" Joseph asked upset, "You just had him for his involvement in the Code-R Project."

"Wait, what is it about Madd and the Code-R Project?" Zero asked.

"It's not something you need to worry about Zero," Villetta said, "It's none of your business. You're the one I'm concern with right now for your actions against Britannia. I have you right where I want you Zero," Villetta smiled, "once I take you in, I'll be rewarded. I'll be part of the nobility. I'm sure I'll be excused of letting Colonel Madd go for the time being."

"Are you hearing yourself?" Shirley asked upset, "I don't know if you realized but that man tried to kill me and my father and you're willing to just let him go?"

"But you two are still alive, right?" Villetta replied, "You're fine, you're not harmed. Now listen, you two need to leave here. Go back to your home and I'll handle Zero," Villetta looked at Zero, "Zero, on the ground with your hands up."

Zero just looked at Villetta and then looked at the area where the battle was still taking place and then he looked out of the ocean where he could barely see the ship that had Katase and his group inside.

"Zero, don't ignore me!" Villetta said heated up, "Come down and put your hands up," Villetta smiled, "once I have you, Viceroy Cornelia will reward me."

"Please don't do this," Shirley pleaded, "

"Stay out of this," Villetta replied, "You don't know what you're talking about. Like I told you before, Zero may seem like a good person to you, but he's not. He's a menace, a menace that needs to be put down. He's a filthy terrorist and let me tell you, you keep up, you'll be considered a criminal as well," Villetta gave Shirley a cold stare, "just letting you know."

"Hey wait a minute!" Joseph spoke upset.

"That was your way saying that I should butt out or I will suffer an arrest," Shirley deduced.

"You can take it as anyway you want," Villetta said.

"But what about that man Madd?" Shirley asked, "He could still be around. He may even try to kill us the moment we leave. You know right? You know that he's involved in the human experiments."

Villetta was silent and just focused on Zero.

"So that's it," Zero said.

"Shut up Zero and walk towards me," Villetta ordered.

"It seems the safety of civilians on not your concern," Zero said.

"I said be quiet," Villetta said, "I won't tell you again!"

Villetta shot a round and it caused the crates that the Lionel rested on to fall and it brought the Lionel along with Zero to fall on the ground. Shirley and Joseph were worried but Zero showed signs that he was still okay. A van suddenly drove by and the van stopped. Madd was driving the van and grinned.

"I'm surprised that you're just letting me go Villetta Nu," Madd said, "but it is appreciated. So for that, Zero is all yours."

Villetta just looked at Madd and then turned back to Zero.

"Just get out of here," Villetta said, "before I arrest you."

"Thank you!" Madd said with a grin, "I understand you have much dealing with Zero right now so with that, I'll take my leave," Madd looked at Joseph, "so long for now Fenette."

Madd drove off and Joseph and Shirley were shocked and even Zero was shocked.

"A-Are you serious about this?" Shirley asked, "This man involves himself with human experiments and tries to have my father killed by your former friends and you just turn the other way."

Villetta was getting sick of hearing Shirley and being reminded of what Madd did.

"Shirley, we should go," Joseph suggested.

Shirley was shocked and looked at her father.

"But Father…" Shirley spoke.

"Shirley," Joseph said, "we'll talk when we get home."

Shirley was taken back and looked at Zero with concern.

"Yes, you should go," Zero said.

"Zero…" Shirley said.

"It's not a good idea for you to trouble yourself on this," Zero said, "go on and take care of yourselves…both of you."

"Thank you Zero," Joseph said.

Shirley looked down and nodded. Joseph and Shirley left and Villetta was pleased as Zero faced Villetta.

"Finally they left," Villetta said as turned her attention to Zero, "it's too bad really."

"Huh, why do you say that?" Zero asked.

"I'm sure they would have gotten rewarded as well," Villetta said, "if they were willing to help me capture you, they would have been rewarded as well and they would have been well off. Oh well, not much can be done about it. Now first I'm going to find out who you are behind that mask. It's time I see the face of the one who dare oppose Britannia."

"Unfortunately for you," Zero spoke, "I'm going to have to mess things up for you."

"Oh no you d—" Villetta responded.

Villetta didn't finish as Zero quickly moved in making Villetta fire a shot at Zero. Zero was able to dodge the shot and knocked the gun out of Villetta's hand. Zero followed quickly followed up by grabbing the gun and pointed at Villetta. Villetta was shocked that she was disarmed and that Zero had her gun and was pointing it at her.

"Too bad for you," Zero said.

"How did you…?" Villetta spoke shocked.

"Hmph, you won't be taking me in Villetta Nu," Zero said in a cold tone, "you're done."

Before Zero had a chance to take further action, there was a crash that happened near them. They looked and saw the Morgause.

"There you are!" Nonette said.

"Damn!" Zero said.

"Lady Enneagram?" Villetta spoke.

Nonette in her cockpit saw Villetta and was surprised.

"Villetta Nu?" Nonette said, "What are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be tracking down Madd?"

"I…" Villetta spoke.

"Damn it," Zero cursed angrily.

Zero ran for his Knightmare but Nonette caught on to Zero and threw one of the MVS at one of the large crates and caused it to be knocked down. Zero looked on shocked as the crate came crashing down and it cause a huge smoke of dust as it broke open. Villetta was forced to cover her eyes and Nonette had her Knightmare step back a bit. Nonette moved in and looked and then was able to block an attack. Villetta saw and was shocked as she saw that another Knightmare had just engaged against the Morgause and it was Kagemaru piloted by Jinta.

"First the Lucan, then the Vierge, and now this Knightmare," Nonette said, "I saw you in Narita."

In the Kagemaru cockpit, Jinta clenched his teeth.

"Damn you Nonette Enneagram!" Jinta said with anger.

"Jinta, do you see my brother?" Void contacted with worry.

"No, I don't see him," Jinta replied, "I see his Lionel but not Zero himself. Don't worry though Void, I'm sure he's fine," Jinta looked and saw Villetta and raised an eyebrow, "Wait, why is she here?"

Jinta turned his attention back to the Morgause who swung the remaining MVS at the Kagemaru and the Kagemaru blocked the sword attack with its own customized MVS. The Morgause and the Kagemaru clashed blades with each other. Villetta went on and looked for Zero. She looked but didn't see him anywhere.

"Damn it," Villetta said frustrated, "I was so close. Zero was right in my grasp. I had him…"

Villetta thought back when Zero turned things around as he disarmed her and when Zero pointed the gun at her. Villetta shook her head.

"No, I didn't have him," Villetta said, "but I have to continue. If I don't, I won't have the chance to advance," Villetta narrowed her eyes as she continued to look, "I'll do whatever it takes, even if I to…"

Elsewhere Zero was panting and sat on the floor hiding in between crates. Zero was coughing and trying to catch his breath. He suddenly found himself hard to breath and he needed some air. Zero looked around to see if everything was clear. Feeling confident that there was no one around, he took off his mask and pulled the cloth that covered his mouth down. Lelouch breathed and felt relief.

"That's better," Lelouch said, "now then…" Lelouch looked behind him and was able to see the battle that was going on and saw Villetta looking around.

"Jinta saved me but Villetta…" Lelouch said, "…well hopefully Shirley and her father got away. I wouldn't want either of them to risk themselves."

"Lulu…" A voice spoke.

Lelouch was shocked as she was wide eyed. Lelouch said no in his head and then he slowly turned and saw there he saw Shirley who looked surprised.

"Shirley…" Lelouch said.

"Lulu, you..." Shirley spoke, "you…you're Zero."

Lelouch looked at Shirley still surprised and then he stood up.

"I screwed up," Lelouch said in his head, "how could I been so careless?"

"I'm so glad," Shirley said.

"Huh?" Lelouch said surprised.

Lelouch was surprised to see Shirley with smile on her face.

"I'm so glad," Shirley said happily, "I knew that Zero wasn't bad and to think that you're him. I had a feeling."

"You had a feeling?" Lelouch responded surprised, "Shirley, were you perhaps…on to me?"

"Well…" Shirley said smiling, "I didn't have any proof but I've always had a feeling that you were somehow connected…although I never would have guessed that you were actually Zero himself."

"Shirley," Lelouch said, "Shirley I…"

"Lulu," Shirley interjected, "um, you don't need to worry."

"Huh?" Lelouch responded.

"I promise I won't tell anyone," Shirley said being genuine, "you don't need to worry. I support you all the way and well since you're here with being the fact that you're Zero, I can finally do it."

"Do what?" Lelouch asked.

Shirley smiled and blushed as she rushed over and gave Lelouch a hug. Shirley's action surprised Lelouch and he looked at Shirley.

"Shirley…" Lelouch said.

"Thank you so much Lulu," Shirley said as tears formed from her eyes, "thank you for protecting my father in Narita. Thank you so much. It's thanks to you that my father is still alive and well and also thanks for what you and the Black Knights did in Lake Kawaguchi. You saved us…I don't want to image what would have happened otherwise so thank you so much Lulu. Regardless what anyone may say, I want you to know that I support you and I want you to succeed."

"Shirley…" Lelouch spoke and was touched by Shirley's words and then he smiled and hugged back, "thank you Shirley. I'm glad I was able to do what I did."

Shirley flinched a bit and then looked at Lulu.

"Lulu," Shirley said.

"Hmm?" Lelouch responded.

A few moments later, Villetta arrived and looked around and was surprised to see Shirley.

"You again," Villetta said.

"Major Nu," Shirley said.

"Why are you still here?" Villetta asked, "You should have left already," Villetta then looked around, "in fact, where's your father?"

"He's over there," Shirley said pointing at a direction.

Villetta looked and saw Joseph speaking with Jeremiah. Joseph and Jeremiah looked and saw Villetta.

"Villetta," Jeremiah said as he went and approached her, "there you are."

"Lord Jeremiah," Villetta said.

"Villetta, I'm having a hard time understanding something," Jeremiah said.

"Huh, understanding what?" Villetta asked puzzled.

"Villetta, I'm having a hard to understand…as to why you allowed Madd to escape," Jeremiah said.

Villetta flinched and then she looked at Joseph and then back to Shirley and then back to Jeremiah.

"Villetta, you had Madd in your grasp and you just let him go?" Jeremiah said.

"Y-Yes I did let him go but I had Zero in my grasp," Villetta responded.

"You…had Zero?" Jeremiah replied.

"I did but…" Villetta said as she looked away.

Jeremiah and Villetta continued to talk and Shirley looked on and back to see Lelouch. She signaled Lelouch to make his escaped and Lelouch silently thanked Shirley as he put his mask back on. Zero left and Shirley waved silently with a smile. Zero got in his Knightmare and quickly went to where Nonette and Jinta were. Zero was able to get in between and signaled Jinta in which Jinta nodded. Zero had also noticed that Jinta's Kagemaru was missing a left arm and he figured it was due to the fight with Nonette and her Morgause.

"Zero!" Nonette said.

"Hmph, we've fulfilled our objective here," Zero commented.

The Lionel made a beeline to escape and Nonette was furious and chased after him. Later on, Jinta met up with the others they all began to retreat. Zero caught up and had his Knightmare use hand signals and all of the Black Knights nodded as they retreated. Suzaku and Nonette in their Knightmares saw what was going on.

"Wait, are they retreating?" Suzaku asked and then he got angry, "Cowards!"

The Burai Knightmare that was piloted by Ohgi had a launcher and shot a few rounds towards the Morgause and the Lancelot. It exploded and caught the two off guard as a huge smoke form and it stopped the Lancelot and the Morgause in their tracks. They gradually made it through the smoke but they saw none of their enemies in sights.

"They got away," Nonette said upset.

In the Lancelot cockpit, Suzaku got angry and hit his fist on the panel.

"Damn them!" Suzaku said angrily.

Meanwhile Cornelia was sitting in the cockpit of her damaged Gloucester and she clenched her teeth in anger and in bitterness.

"Again, again," Cornelia said angrily, "I've been humiliated," Cornelia hit her fist on the console, "I'll kill him! I swear I'll kill him!"

Somewhere in the sea

The ship that carried Katase and the remaining members of the Japan Liberation Front stopped and the group came out of the deck. Moments later, a submarine submerged next the ship.

"There it is," Katase said, "our ride for the rest of the way."

"Courtesy of Zero," One of the soldiers said.

"Yes, it's my understanding that Zero had enough finances even before receiving financial backing from House Kyoto," Katase said.

"Where do you suppose he got such money?" Another soldier asked.

"A good question," Katase replied.

The hatch to the submarine opened up and it was a man with short brown hair and was lean built wearing a Chinese military uniform.

"General Tatewaki Katase and members of the Japan Liberation Front," The Chinese soldier said with a salute, "greetings, we're here to pick up and take you the rest of the way to the Chinese Federation. Commander Li Xingke awaits for you all there."

"Thank you very much," Katase said.

"Not a problem," The man said with nod, "it is thanks to Commander Xingke and Zero that this is possible."

"Yes indeed," Katase said with a smile.

Tokyo Settlement

Meanwhile Jeremiah was driving a car and leaving Port Yokosuka with Villetta in the passenger seat and Joseph and Shirley in the back seats.

"How could you do that Villetta?" Jeremiah asked upset, "How could let that weasel go?"

"Look I'm sorry Lord Jeremiah," Villetta responded upset.

"Just saying sorry is not going to cut it," Jeremiah said, "you allowed Madd to get away after all the trouble Sub Viceroy Euphemia and Lady Enneagram went through to track him down. Thank goodness that these two weren't harmed but I must ask you Joseph Fenette, why did you think that it was a good idea to face Madd alone?"

"I wanted to stop him," Joseph said with a frown.

"I understand but that was very dangerous," Jeremiah said, "I must say that you were extremely reckless."

Joseph sighed, "I know, I know. I look back and I see that what I was doing was really crazy."

"Well I'm glad you and your daughter are safe from harm," Jeremiah said.

"Thank you Lord Jeremiah," Joseph said.

"Yes, thank you Lord Jeremiah," Shirley said.

"You're welcome," Jeremiah said with nod, "of course considering what has happened. I propose that until Madd and the other criminals are captured, you'll be under protection. I'll speak with the Sub Viceroy. I'm sure she'll agree. Don't you worry, I won't let harm come to you and your family."

"Y-You'll really do that?" Shirley asked.

"Yes I will," Jeremiah said.

"Pardon me Lord Jeremiah," Joseph said, "I'm a bit shocked that you'll go out of your way for us."

"Really?" Jeremiah responded, "Well I have my reasons, one is finally putting Reginald Madd in his place. He was always a scoundrel. I just refuse to condone killing our citizens."

"Oh, is that so?" Shirley said shifting her eyes.

"Hmm?" Jeremiah responded, "Miss Fenette?"

"Shirley?" Joseph spoke.

"Oh, it's nothing," Shirley said.

Villetta looked through the window on her side with a bitter expression.

"Zero was right there," Villetta said, "I almost had him."

"Villetta, you know that we were ordered to not make any attempts to go after Zero," Jeremiah said, "that was the direct order from the Viceroy herself. Now how do you think she's going to react when she's informed that you disregarded that order?"

"You're really just going to report me to her?" Villetta asked looking at Jeremiah feeling hurt.

"I don't have a choice," Jeremiah pointed out, "even if I don't, she'll find out anyway and Sub Viceroy Euphemia will be on your case. There's not much I can do about it Villetta. Sure, the Viceroy would be fine if you had been able to actually capture Zero but…"

Villetta looked away with her bitter expression. Shirley and Joseph just looked and then Joseph turned to his daughter.

"Shirley," Joseph said.

"Yes Dad?" Shirley responded.

"I promise that I'll tell you and your mother everything," Joseph said.

Shirley nodded, "I know."

The ride continues and Shirley feels happy that she found out that Lelouch was actually Zero and recalled when she and Lelouch spoke.

"Shirley?" Joseph said, "You seem happy. Are you remembering something pleasant that happened?"

"Oh um…" Shirley replied, "y-yeah, something like that."

Shirley smiled and felt happy when she placed her hand on her father's shoulder. Joseph was a bit confused but he always liked it seeing his daughter's happy expression so he smiled back. Villetta glanced at Shirley and couldn't help but feel annoyed. Villetta thought that if only Shirley was willing to help her, it would have been easier for her but she was shocked at the fact that she and her father pleaded for Zero. She knew for the fact that Zero helped Joseph but she didn't see it has something that should be kept. It didn't change the fact for Villetta that Zero opposed Britannia and that he made it clear when he and the Black Knights kept going against Cornelia and her forces. Villetta wondered what was wrong with the Fenettes' way of thinking.

Pendragon Imperial Palace, Pendragon, Holy Britannian Empire

A man entered the throne room where Charles zi Britannia sat in his throne. The man was muscular built in his late twenties that had brown short hair and light blue eyes. The man wore a Knight of the Round uniform with a black cloak. The Knight of the Round faced the emperor and kneeled before him.

"Your Majesty," The man said with respect.

"Jarvis, I require something of you," Charles said.

"Anything sire," The man named Jarvis said.

"You are to go to Area 11," Charles said, "I need to you go pick someone up."

"I'm guessing that it's Madd," Jarvis said with smirk.

"That's correct," Charles said with his own smirk.

"Very well," Jarvis said, "your will shall be done."

"One more thing," Charles said.

"Yes Sir?" Jarvis replied.

"It seems that Nonette is having…a bit of trouble regarding the mission I assigned her," Charles said.

"Yes, I understand that Zero and his band of Elevens are giving Princess Cornelia and her forces a hard time and Nonette may be helping but it's not much with the Her Highness's…" Jarvis shifted his eyes, "well…incompetence. I mean no offense."

"It's no offense to me," Charles said looking bored, "it is a fact and it shows that Cornelia has proven to be a disappointment."

"It does make me curious Your Majesty," Jarvis said, "I wonder how she would she react if she knew that her brother, our former 11th Prince Lelouch was actually Zero leading his band and daring to oppose our glorious empire."

"Jarvis, you're saying too much," Charles said narrowing his eyes.

"Oh right," Jarvis said, "my apologies. Please forgive me for getting a little carried away."

"Hmph no matter," Charles said, "Like Bismarck, I expect much from you. So go forth Knight of Two."

Jarvis smirked back as he was pleased to obey the 98th Britannian Emperor.

"Yes Your Majesty," Jarvis said happily.

Ashford Academy, Tokyo Settlement, Area 11

Shirley was in her dorm room writing an entry in her diary. She stopped for a moment and thought about Lelouch.

"Lulu is Zero," Shirley said in her head, "he's putting himself at risk doing what he's doing. I wonder what drives him to do so," Shirley placed her hand over her heart and blushed, "Lulu…"

"Shirley?" A female voice said.

Shirley turned and saw her roommate, Sophie Wood up from her bed.

"Oh Sophie," Shirley said, "I'm sorry, am I disturbing you?"

"No it's fine," Sophie assured with smile, "but what are you doing?"

"Just writing an entry in my diary," Shirley said as she went back to do just that.

"I see," Sophie said as she yawned, "just make sure you get some sleep. You don't want to be tired out during the day."

"I know," Shirley said with smile, "good night Sophie."

"Mm," Sophie nodded, "good night Shirley…"

Sophie closed her eyes as she laid on her bed and slept. Shirley looked at her roommate and then back to her diary and finished up her entry. Afterwards Shirley set her pen aside and closed her diary.

"I've made up my mind," Shirley said in her head, "after everything that has happened and what Lulu is fighting for…I want to help him. I want to be by his side," Shirley clenched her fist and placed her fist over her chest, "he'll be against it. He's the type that doesn't want to risk the lives of others especially if it's something that he's doing but regardless I want to help," Shirley had a determined expression, "and I'll do whatever it takes to help so with that I will…"

Shirley stopped herself and just closed her eyes.

The Next Day

Members of the Student Council as well as the two honorary members were hanging out in the Student Council Room.

"Wait, you want to meet Princess Euphemia?" Suzaku asked.

"Yes I want to thank her personally," Nina responded, "…To thank her…"

"Huh, to thank her personally," Rai said.

"Well she did risk her life back in the hotel jacking," Milly said.

Nina smiled and blushed thinking how noble and brave the Third Princess was.

"Oh right, Princess Euphemia did tell me about that," Suzaku recalled.

"Man, that's amazing," Rai said.

"I want to meet her too," Rivalz said happily.

"Huh, you too Rivalz?" Lelouch asked.

"Yeah," Rivalz said replied.

"And why's that exactly?" Milly asked.

"Well she's a real princess," Rivalz said with glee, "I could marry into royalty."

"Rivalz, really?" Rai commented.

Rivalz saw the look that Shirley, Rai, and Lelouch was giving him and it was a look of disgust.

"Rivalz, just what makes you think that it would be remotely possible for you?" Shirley asked.

"It doesn't really matter," Nunnally said with a shrug, "because he will never succeed, not with such obvious impure thoughts."

"Bingo!" Alice said.

"Impure?" Rivalz responded as he felt hurt feelings, "That's a little harsh, isn't Nunnally?"

Nina shifted her eyes to the side and was worried.

"Hey Lelouch, you're on my side, aren't you buddy?" Rivalz said.

"No, not on this," Lelouch said, "Rivalz, my sister sees right through you, no, we all see through you," Lelouch pointed at Rivalz with a grin, "you're not slick."

"Ahhh, Lelouch," Rivalz replied sadly as he slumped, "c'mon buddy, you're supposed to be back me up," Rivalz turned to Rai, "Rai…"

"Haha, no," Rai replied, "not on this man."

"You traitors!" Rivalz whined.

"Oh knock it off," Milly said.

Nina sighed and then she looked at Lelouch and was reminded that Lelouch caught her doing something on the corner of the table and she felt embarrassed. Nina looked and saw Lelouch looked at her and then he looked away and Nina flinched. As far as Nina knew, Lelouch didn't say anything to anyone in what he saw her do but wonder how long that would last. Shirley glanced over to Lelouch and decided that she was going to talk to him. Lelouch spoke with Rai and Milly and then he looked over to Shirley who smiled in response. Kallen was sitting on a table reading a book and she was worried with the looks that were being exchanged between Lelouch and Shirley. Kallen flinched and was shocked that she was being concerned and she wondered why and she looked over to Lelouch and felt a bit of tightness in her chest.

"Why am I feeling this way?" Kallen asked herself in her head.

Elsewhere in Area 11

CC was running and she was panting as she hid behind a large tree. As soon she caught her breath, she looked back and saw Nonette running and then she stopped and looked around. She had her gun in her hand and had soldiers with her. She signaled one group to go to one direction and signaled another group to go to another direction.

"You won't escape this time Cera," Nonette said, "time for you to pay the price bitch."

CC clenched her teeth in frustration and wondered what she was going to do.

"I can't believe how careless I was," CC said, "this isn't like me at all," CC looked back and saw Nonette just frowned and gripped her gun, "oh dear, she's really determined to get me. I know what's going to happen if she gets me...and I do not want to go through that."

Tokyo Settlement Park, An hour later

Shirley was shocked and was shaking in fear. She was shaking in fear due to the fact that she was facing Mao who had a sadistic grin.

"Devious little witch," Mao said.

"No, you stay away from me!" Shirley demanded.

"You're a sinner," Mao said as he clapped his hands, "just like Lelouch."

"You're wrong!" Shirley responded, "You don't know what you're talking about!"

"Oh I do," Mao said, "I know everything."

Mao gave a piercing gaze toward Shirley with his Geass on both of his eyes.
